This is our first time dealing with a kitchen redo. We went to alot of different places looking for cabinets. That process is or can be overwhelming. Luckily we stumbled across HEP in Canandaigua. Ashley made the process so much easier. Honestly we couldnt have done it without her. By the end of us picking everything out we pretty much left the measurements up to her and everything was perfect. She seemed to know things about my kitchen that I didnt which definitely worked in our favor. She makes it look easy and her confidence will calm you down. Finding Ashley and HEP was the main reason we were able to get it done. Thanks Ashley!

A bit pricey but has all your project needs.

Wanted to replace a bottom window trim cover piece for a window in a basement that hand crank needed replacement. Only replacement would match the specs of original, so would not work on updated, larger opener. Guy (Doug?) tried, and gave me a printout of specs which will help.

The people behind the counter are there to help as soon as you walk in. Tell them what you are after and He, or She will help you get the correct items your after. Time saver. Well stocked. Great assortment of Bath fixtures on display.

Great service and high-quality products that you cant get at the big box stores

Specifically asked if they had shower bases IN STORE, the sleezy sales person told us he has all sorts in store. We arrive there and he proceeds to tell us they dont keep them in stock at the store...what? We said so you lied and he replied O you called me out. They should fire this guy. Go elsewhere if you want something, the employees would rather lie and talk among themselves than help a customer out.

HEP always has that special part or fitting that I am looking for. Most of the time it is cheaper than the big box stores.

Always great service here. They have items in stock that other places have to order. Save yourself the trouble and go here first.

Called to check for availability of a steel door which they said they had. Good price. Traveled 45min to find out they did not have in stock. 1st time trying to do business. Last time doing business with them

I bought a sheet of Styrofoam insulation to used mounting an air conditioner. I asked the counter person if I could get that cut to size. The answer was certainly no problem. I was sent to the back of the building to get the material and have it cut. The idiot there asked what size I needed and I told him two pieces 35 by 48 and whatever remained was fine. (It was a 4 by 8 sheet) Braniac whips out a box cutter measures 35 and hacked off piece one. I was dumbfounded. Repeat for second piece then told he was busy and left me to load the material in my car. I thought about demanding a refund but it just was not worth the hassle. HEP after years of having my business you lost it for good in less than 5 minutes.

They usually have the part or lumber you are looking for. If not they know how to get it, or find a solution to fix your problem. Very knowledgeable staff

We lost power and I heard they had generators in stock. I gave them a call and they were great. They help me out in a bad time. Really good guys there 😉

Great place

Bought a garage door from the company, it showed up with major damage, not sure if it was stored improperly or damaged during delivery by them? However when asked for some sort of resolution or compensation I was told no and that I was already upgraded for free, I never asked for any upgrades? If I hadnt paid with cash I would have forced a refund through my credit card company and returned the product. Now I get too look at a bent top half of a garage door with two fork lift type holes on the inside and styrofoam popping out. Will not do any business there personally again and will try real hard to get the contractor that I dealt with to not do business with them as well. The reason for two stars instead of one is due to the fact that they delivered it very promptly.

Asked for help and after approximately two minutes I was left to decide on my own. No selling at all.
