This place is a really good deal. For twenty bucks you get a kayak or a stand-up paddle board which they will hand carry a tenth of a mile down to the Small Craft Boat Launch, and then you can buy a chicken Pita off the grill for supper. Then they have an ice cream shop for dessert. This business is located inside of the Kershaw Park main building. You can even reserve via text.

I’ve rented kayaks multiple times from here. Always friendly service and is a reasonable price. They’ve recently moved to Kershaw Park and launch from the dog swimming area of Canandaigua Lake. I’ve enjoyed my experiences kayaking with Woodard Rentals. Even gotten an ice cream there when done.

This is the least expensive rental for $15 for the first hour & only $8 for additional hours for kayak or paddleboard rentals! All other places charge $24-26 per hour. Plus, it is at Kershaw Park, 155 Lakeshore Drive on the left side of the bathhouse building. They offer food (hot dogs, burgers, sausage & soft drinks, plus Hersheys ice cream too.

Great service and easy rental. Friendly attendant. Excellent price. We had such a good time we went twice in one week with our family of four.

This was our first kayaking experience so we made reservations as suggested and ended up making them for longer than we would have liked or that was even possible for the first time going. When we returned early they refused to give a refund. Maybe you should have people pay when they return, then you wouldn’t over charge people. Very disappointed that they were so un-accommodating! Not kayaking here again and will share our poor experience with all we know.

I took my niece and nephew kayaking for the first time. They were a little nervous (also excited) but everyone that assisted us was so friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring they jumped right in and ended up having a great time!The kayaks are in great shape and they had a variety of sizes so the kids could each have their own.

What a great place! Had never been kayaking had been wanting to try it for a long time. I didnt know where to start until I did a search and found this little business out at the end of the pier. Walked in and received a genuine welcome from a young lady behind the counter of delicious ice cream who introduced us to the owner. We signed a quick document, she then helped us get into the kayaks and even gave us recommendations to check out. So glad she did! We spent a few hours out on the lake, did some swimming and overall, it was a great time! The price was great and the genuine service we received is something that Im going to remember and recommend to any one whos looking to get out on the water!

Best ice cream shop in Canandaigua! They have the best prices on Paddle boards, kayaks! Very Convenient place to load and unload paddle boards and kayaks right from city pier! Very friendly staff!

Very relaxed, awesome employees, great prices, way better hours than competitors and they rescued a baby duck and continue to take care of him even though he is almost full grown! I highly recommend this place :)
