The smell of leather in this place is amazing. I could have gone broke buying everything in there. The leather trimmed canvas jackets, the canvas backpacks, the leather bags...everything was nice. Prices were reasonable but dont expect a bargain...but you get what you pay for!

A lovely, well-stocked store for most of your needs of well-made leather goods from backpacks, shoulder bags, carrying bags, mobile phone purse, leather jackets and shoes, and many different accessories. Friendly staff and beautiful store layout.

Although the prices are a bit high, the quality of everything I have purchased at this store is amazing! I still have 3 bags and a belt that I bought over 7 years ago and theyre still in great condition! Cant wait to find time to stop by for some more belts and bags!

You have got to check this gem out!! The purses, wallets, jackets, EVERYTHING!! The shop keep was a wonderful man and very fun to talk to. Got the most beautiful purse there and I will be going back!

We love Camden and particularly this wonderful store. Great selection of QUALITY leather goods, fairly priced.Purchased a beautiful leather backpack a few years back. It has been on domestic and foreign trips, used and abused, still looks great, soft and comfortable, very functional. And gets compliments everywhere it goes.My wife continues to enjoy her purchases as well. You will be well pleased with your selections from The Leather Bench!

My wife said: This is an amazing laid back store with a huge expanse of merchandise to pick from. I had been wanting a leather back pack and they had an assortment to pick from and I did pick 3! They also had them in different colors, like red, love red. This is a family owned and operated business that has down home hospitality. Also this store is famous if you ask about it. It has been in a movie and one of the family members was asked to play a small part. What is the name of that movie? They changed it from a leather store to a clothes store, and put it all back. My family and I went into this store two times and both times we just felt watched. We wanted to buy some leather goods but the looks we got from the staff made us uncomfortable. We definitely felt unwelcome and left without purchasing anything.

My family and I went in here. I wrote a review in Yelp about our very terrible experience. In summary, the townies that hang out there are racist, and the employees dont seem to object to it. We summer in Camden every year, and we will never return to this store. Camden is a lovely and friendly town in our experience. Please reference Yelp for our more detailed review on leather bench. I dont feel safe bringing my wife and children to this store, and to the young man employed there who thought the townies racist comments were funny, its only funny in your little world. Expand yourselves, leather bench and staff. This is not over by a long shot WRONG persons wife to disparage. Not over by a long shot.

Went into the store looking for a purse. nice high level quality products. However, while I was shopping one of the staff spoke to me kids very rudely asked to not touch anything because “this is not Walmart..” and told them to leave the store.That was unacceptable.Very disappointed and upset. Did not expect that kind of behavior from a store in Camden in a touristy area catering to families with kids.

My two daughters and I stopped by today at the shop and as I was looking around I heard the store employee tell them This aint Walmart stuff so put it down. That sounded a bit odd to be, but I let it slide. About a minute later the employee told my 11 year old daughter why dont you put these items down and get the hell out of this shop as she was checking out a small leather bracelet. I was shocked, I mean absolutely stunned and shocked when I heard him talking to my kid like this. Talking to my 7 and 11 year old daughterse like this is beyond rude and unprofessional. Either ask the parents to keep an eye on the kid or have a little bit of manor when asking them not to touch something.This is the first time I am writing a review this low but this type of treatment towards a child is beyond unacceptable.

I was looking for a fedora, and the Leather Bench had a nice selection to choose from, knowledgeable staff, and the store smells amazing with all of the exquisite leather goods!
