Love love love this coffee! The chai concentrate is also delicious. Their delivery service during the pandemic was incredible, and the staff is super friendly. I recently moved away and am very sad not to have this shop in my life anymore -- but I will be visiting :)
Very nice avocado toast and coffee was decent... Nothing spectacular but its definitely a go-to café if youre in Central Sq.
I LOVE this place. Always a great, accommodating, knowledgeable staff. Today was great service and exceptional drinks of 4 different types. Used to go the the original 1369 decades ago with mom. Her daily habit.
I remembered how real coffee tastes like!
Staff was super nice! I accidentally ordered online for the wrong location (oops lol) but they were understanding and helpful
Great coffee spot. Service is lovely. Patio is nice on the sidewalk as well.
Really tasty and well-made cappuccinos. I love their seasonal selections too. Breakfast meals are always fabulous.
They don’t allow you to sit inside
Great service. Tasty spicy blt!
Always friendly and delicious! Support local business!
Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches.
Great food. Delicous coffee. Theu make you wait outside so you dont need to go into an oveecrowded store to get food.
Super cute coffee shop! The coffee itself is somewhere between decent and good, but the breakfast sandwiches are really great.
Really beautiful building and decor with fantastic coffee and tea. Great place to study or take to-go.
Everything is delicious!
Great coffee! Note that you need to order in advance right now due to COVID.
A nice coffee place with good coffee. A lovely place for a calming break. The service was very satisfying.
Outdoor ordering. Not sure why more cafes in Cambridge don’t do this, like in Davis Sq. Let’s keep the workers safe.
Is anyone else talking about how good their scones are!? 1369 also happens to make the only oat milk latte that doesn’t taste like pulverized wood chips—theirs if delightfully creamy (and strong). Good vibe, good music. Crowded for a reason. Expect a bit of a wait.
The coffee is the best
One of my favorite coffee shops in the Boston area! The staff are all so friendly, and the coffee and breakfast sandwiches are quality.
Love/hate. For example I love the London Fog, but I hate the 15-20 min wait after ordering and the service at the ordering area when theres clearly a pick up station to the side of the line. This causes people to congregate at the registers after they order in an already very cramped placeOh well cant have everything. I guess thats why I only come once a month.
I tried coffee all over Cambridge during my stay. This was my favorite spot! Consistently good coffee and service.
WonderfulBEST IN THE WORLDand its in my neighborhood!
All our meals were excellent and greatly enjoyed.
Smurfs gave me great customer service! I am very satisfied
Love this place. Good solid coffee shop. Great drink selection for those non-coffee drinkers. The only downside is its popularity. It gets busy.
Amazing atmosphere, good food and reasonable prices. Im not a resident of Cambridge, only a visitor for a week. I discovered this by a Google search near the central square metro station. I stopped by for a bagel and a cup of coffee everyday subsequently. It can get busy, but at least between 8 A.M. to 8.30 A.M. on weekdays you can get a seat for a cup of coffee and a bagel :) hope you like it.
Love the creamy foam and dry chocolate in their small mocha
Perhaps the best coffee shop in Cambridge. Always a cosy atmosphere.
Fantastic coffee in this locally owned coffee place with many ties to the local community. My favourite treat: their amazing coffee cake!
I read the reviews and was thrilled to come here after going to visit the Harvard Campus. I was very optimistic but the person in front of me (who I didnt know), as well as my order, were both wrong. He wanted some iced coffee, which they made hot, I wanted the same. He said he wanted it iced and the girl making the espressos said oh yea, I guess it was supposed to be cold but then didnt offer to remake it. The guy felt awkward and left. I got my drink, which was supposed to be iced, and it was hot. I own restaurants so I can understand this so I just said put some more milk in it and Ill take it hot. The girl put literally one tablespoon of milk in it and handed it back and gave me a look which made me feel like I wasnt welcome there. I walked outside, threw it in the trash, and drove to to another coffee house to get what I actually wanted. Im sure this was just a fluke but I dont live in the Boston area so going to try it again is out of the question.
Time to kill in Central Square and Im a sucker for chalk board menus. Im certainly not disappointed. The muffin was perfect and the green tea delicious. There are enough outlets to power every customer and the music is mellow.
Liked this place it was still busy late afternoon. I had a Vietnamese coffee was delicious. Tables could use a good scrubbing.
1369 in Central Square is serving Wonderful iced coffee. Perfect for today.
A local gem of a coffeehouse, with great drinks, baked goods, quiche and salads. The seasonally available Iced Mocha slide is highly recommended. The bulletin board is clearinghouse of all sorts of interesting events. You can also get a growler of cold brew to take home.
Decent device with friendly staffers.Expresso drinks come standard with only 2 shots considering the relatively high prices.Good prices.Located on MA Ave near Central Square, the cafe is narrow but deep and gets busy and congested.
Good coffee friendly service. I had an issue with my decaf coffee and they promptly replaced it.
The dream of the 90s is still alive in Cambridge if only here. Coffee is always top notch. Staff is friendly. This is Central Squares tiny living room and it gets crowded... Old townie tip: if the bathrooms are full, go out the back alley to Life Alive (they have three).
Ill just say it. Go here if you like a good coffee and like your aesthetic sweets and food set up. I ordered a mocha and I loved it.
Im a regular here. Its right in the neighborhood. Wicked nice staff, Insanely good coffee and crazy delicious brownies. Clean bathroom a nice plus.
Great staff, coffee, food. Relaxed surroundings, accessible bathrooms. What more would you want?
Cozy atmosphere, not too busy despite it being a busy time of the day. I had their London Fog, and it was really good, even though I dont normally like milk tea. The batista was also really nice.
Great place to camp out and do some work over a fine cup of coffee. Breakfast sandwiches are really good. Crowd is friendly and the wifi works decent enough. There is enough of a mix of people on laptops, people reading, and people catching up with others to keep the feel vibrant. And, its local.
Service was first class.
Great coffee. Helpful staff. My son is a vegan and they had very good, clearly labeled vegan pastries available. We sat outside.
This is a great spot! It can be busy in the mornings, but thats expected. The coffee cake and the chili hot chocolate are perfect for a cold winter day. And for the bagel fans out there, they carry the rarified scallion cream cheese Im always hunting for! Love this place.
1369 is my go-to coffee place in Central. very friendly people working there, great coffee, and delicious bagels, quiche, and baked goods. can sometimes be hard/impossible to get a seat during peak hours, but otherwise great. I come here at least 3 times a week.
This coffee shop is great. They even take credit cards now, which for a while they didnt. The staff is friendly and the food and coffee is high quality. Its usually pretty crowded.
Amazing black coffee with fantastic flavor. No Starbucks quality watered charcoal to be had here. The turkey and apple sandwich is also fantastic, as is their bread pudding. Pretty intense wait in the morning, though, and there is often no available seating.
Its very overpriced and cramped. Limited on wifi. The redeeming factor is theyre the only place around with salt bagels, and they do an English breakfast fog with lavender syrup. There are better cafes around, but it does have a few nice qualities.
One of the best Cafes by Central square but unfortunately often difficult to find a seat during mid afternoon.
I work in the area so Ive stopped by here a couple of times but each time I regretted it. The service has been consistently poor, and I felt very unwelcome by the staff, from their vibe and the curt way they spoke to me. I was hoping the first and second time that it was just an off day but for this to be the case every single time really made me uncomfortable. The drinks themselves are decent but I cant justify spending $6 on a latte if Im going to be treated so poorly.
More than just great coffee. Being a denizen of the neighborhood, I consider 1369 my office and my living-room all at once. In addition to a great setting and always a solid selection of music, the staff can always be counted to be more than cordial.
Friendly local coffee shop convenient to everything in central Cambridge. The have orange clover syrup... Makes for a yummy Mocha.
Great vanilla latte! Well balanced unlike most places where all you taste is bitter espresso.
Living in the area, Ive been here a couple times to meet friends. Pros: There is always a decent crowd but ample seating. They have a nice selection of tea and coffee drinks. Cons: Theyre not very good at making their drinks. I got a matcha latte the other day, and there were huge clumps of matcha at the bottom of the cup. Not integrated at all into the drink.
Very cool looking interiors and great cofffee... I like their Inman square location better though
Great scones, mediocre coffee. It’s awkward to wait for your coffee in the middle of the tables.
Very busy, but for a good reasons. A nice selection of baked good and quality coffee. They have many small tables good for many people working. They also have board games in back.
This coffee shop had a nice vibe and a lot of outdoor seating. However in my experience the iced coffee tasted like water.
Love the carrot raisin muffin and Hot english breakfast tea.
Cute little coffee house near Central Square. One of the only places in the area Ive found Vietnamese coffee (yum yum!). Definitely a local hangout, so be prepared for a line during the morning rush. Staff are quite friendly.
I dont know why, I just have a soft spot for this place. Its super crowded anytime I go, but they have the best fogs! I love the Fire and Smoke one :)
Cozy atmosphere and high quality beverages. The prices are on the steeper end and they charge you if you wish to use their WiFi. Nonetheless, Id certainly recommend this place for a Thai iced tea, a Mexican hot chocolate, or a few scrumptious baked goods.
This is the best place for local coffee, and they have really good muffins in the morning.
Im not sure about the coffee but they make a great handmade lemonade that will quince your thirst on a hot day!The lemonade was great but a little pricey but not unexpected in the Cambridge area. The coffee House is a cute small local coffee house which feel a little more intimate than S.BsThe staff was friendly and kept the busy afternoon crowd down to a minimum.Like I said Im not sure about the coffee since I dont drink the stuff but their lemonade is great, and if your looking for something cold on a hot day this is your spot.
Amazing coffee. Good environment. It can get a little crowded. But worth it. No free WiFi tho which is weird for a coffeehouse
Five stars for the staff and coffee. Three for the interior and the hummus, which was tasty but too thin (=nothing left on bagel, all on everywhere else).
Good coffee house with good tea options and friendly people.
Everything about my experience was mediocre - the service, the coffee, the atmosphere. Nothing remarkable and you have to PAY for the wifi, which I find ridiculous.
THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE IF YOU WANT TO STUDY/WORK WITH WIFI. I’m kinda disappointed to find out that you have to pay for wifi here, about $3 per hour. You would get 45mins for free but it’s extremely slow that it can’t even load google... The tea I ordered was not bad and the place to sit is not too bad. But overall, I wouldn’t come back here again if I need wifi because I can go to other places with the same price of drinks and free wifi with better store design. Also, I noticed the guy that was making coffee was very slobby. The person before me ordered hot chocolate but the cup looks spilled and very unprofessional considering the price.I’m very surprised to see many good reviews.
That was one of the worst coffee I ever had in the US. I asked for an extra hot latte I got a warm one! The taste was weird I dont know what was it! First try and last one for sure.
Malted cold brew is delicious, a new twist Id never seen before!
It was a cold, cold, cold winters night in Boston when we popped in here. I was surprisingly excited to see Vietnamese coffee on the menu. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed by the Vietnamese coffee, which seemed to just be coffee with some condensed milk - but not even enough condensed milk to make it sweet like true Vietnamese coffee. Giving it four stars anyway as I liked the atmosphere and the rest of the menu of various caffeinated drinks look like theyre worth a return trip.
Quiet as full cafés go--they dont play music. Great coffee and many other choices. The outdoor seating is especially nice in the evening (after the user daytime Central Square chaos has subsided).
Cute little coffee shop on the long and narrow model. There are plenty of two-seater tables, it’s fairly quiet, and there is always local art on the walls.
Friendly service, good food and coffee.
Quick & quirky coffee shop. Good music and board games. Espresso drinks are awesome here. Easily accessible for public transportation.
Really excellent organic coffee. At least it tastes organic. The wait staff is chill, like a coffee shop should be and they offer all the staples. Check them out coffee snobs.
Coffee is great, staff is very nice and the coffeeshop has a very nice atmosphere. Great place for working, studying or chatting with a friend. Plus, the location is great.
Coffee drinks: Excellent!!!Pastries: Delicious!!!Decor: Love it!!!Pricing: ComparableService: Depends on who waits on you. Apparently, management allows its workers to display a noncaring, blazzay attitude. No tip from me if your attitude sucks.
Absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing, the playlist are dope, and tea is always good. 10/10 has become my permanent study spot.
