1st time to this location its smaller then burlington but still nice size parking at the rear of the building many varieties of drinks snacks fruit veggies tea health and beauty supplies. Ready to go meals and drinks very fresh seafood and marinated meats for korean BBQ and side dishes there are a few places to eat inside a bakery Cafe, curry, and sushi place π
My favorite H Mart in one of my favorite towns! Has something for everyone with a great little bakery at the entrance. The King Cream donut is one of the greatest desserts ever and the coffee is great.
When In Boston: Well, Im usually *not* in Boston, which I suppose makes this review a bit more relevant than usual since I was tasked with procuring assorted foodstuffs for a backyard cookout with my hosts. H Mart has a decent rep there as a one-stop shop for edible Asian goodies, but it really doesnt stop there: lots of fresh veggies, meats and fish are in abundance as well, and they serve up fresh-cooked food as well, to take home or dine on-site (carefully-distanced, of course). Very highly recommended.
Good, albeit small grocery featuring many Korean and Japanese products. However, they so not stock Hot6ix, the greatest Korean energy drink and winner of Lottes 2012 internal marketing campaign. This leads to great disappointment every time I shop here.Outside the store, but located within the building, are great takeout restaurants such as Paris Baguette and sushi, so its a great one-stop market.
Great store. Amazing selection and prices. Staff is super. Parking is a challenging nightmare, but free on Sundays.
It is an interesting amalgamation of stores all packed into one building.I went there for pastries which they have plenty of in the first store to the right where I got a crossing for 3 bucks. But not only did I buy a croissant, but I came out with 2 packs of noodles 2hich came from a grocery store located further back in the building. They also have a diner where customers can buy hot noodle π bowls or sandwiches π₯ͺ and other foods. They also provide tables for customers to sit and eat.Definitely an interesting place to stop by if your hungry for a brunch or a quick grocery shopping for Asian goods.
I love this place because of the variety and the freshness of the food served. I have tried the cheesecake, brownie and croissant. All three were good.
Nice Chinese grocery shop with fresh sea food. There are lots of things here
Always been a big fan of HMART because of the good quality of their products UNTIL TODAY. Tonight I bought a box of mangosteen at HMART Cambridge (for those who donβt know mangosteen is a type of tropical fruit imported from Southeast Asia, costs $19.99 per pound) I paid $17.19 for only five or six tiny size of mangosteen. I was so excited because I expected these must taste so good if it cost me that much. When I cut it, tasted it, and realized every single one of them went bad (expired), I bet you know how that feels. REALLY SUCKS. AWFUL PURCHASE. HMART should take all of these expired items down from the shelves and give full refund to whoever bought these recently.
Smallish store with a great variety of items. It can get very busy in here and there isnt a ton of room, but thats expected in Cambridge. Food is always fresh and staff has always been nice when we have visited. Connected to a Cafe, but no public bathrooms (since Covid).
We highly recommend trying some of the buns when you go, all of the ones we have tried so far have been great! As well as the skewers which were crispy and so flavorful (though not very spicy). The kimchi pancake was great and we loved that it had rice cake in it!The only thing we cant recommend is the curry it was very thick and salty, and the flavor wasnt that great. Otherwise we loved everything else we got!The service here is always great and the servers are willing to try and accommodate their customers! Keep in mind you cannot eat inside yet so you will have to either take it home or eat in your car. If you take it home the food wont be crispy which is not the businesss fault as we tried the food in the car and it was crispy and fresh!
I love Hmart, it has variety of food options to choose from basically it is like star market but with much more Asian products in store. The fruits and veggies are very fresh.
Lots of great selections for food and groceries. Also a good liquor section. Def worth checking this place out either for a quick bite or a good drink.
Small but clean, well kept, and the interiors feel fresh and new. Produce looks vibrant and fresh. Bakery has some beautiful looking pastries.
Great location!Meats and seafoods are spectacular while vegetables are only okay. Many Asian products available. Great.Part of the parking lot is used for an event now, there are about 20 spaces available now. Also there are many street parking there. If you cant find any, theres a parking garage across the main street with $2/hr.
I shop a lot at that store and I have to say they have one of the most helpful staff next to Market Basket in Somerville. If you need to find something, anyone working there is willing to help show you where the items are.
Itβs a smaller HMart than the ones that are out in the suburbs but it still has a good selection.
Im a explorer of new foods and this place definately was an interesting array of Asian foods. Its like a Asian version of Whole Foods. They were even sampling out different meats and drinks. I wish for Non Asians they had more attentive staff asking if they needed help and explaining the products unknown to non Asians. Prices seemed in align to the area. I will go back soon as so many choices of fascinating and exotic food items.
A solid cooling system. perfect place to chill out after a hot summer day. bring a jacket if u want to grocery shop in comfort
A little bit of onsite parking that could do with expanding (but I know thats not a reasonable request). Great selection of Korean groceries, with several Japanese and some other Asian offerings as well. Produce is fantastic! Most packages are labeled in English so you can cook with confidence.
H mart has a great variety. The produce is fresh. I love this place and I go for all my Asian cooking needs. Plus they have enough of everything else. You really wouldnt need to shop anywhere else.
As a Korean person, it was very exciting at first to know that there was an Hmart nearby. However, compared to the Hmarts and other Korean marts I had at home, this one is definitely disappointing. Almost no actual Korean workers and its extremely small, so theres a lot of missing products. Furthermore, the food court doesnt even have any actual Korean food: just curry, ramen, and a Paris Baguette. While its a nice spot to shop for groceries and there are some pre-packaged Korean foods, its sad to know that the one nearby Korean mart is incredibly lacking.
Good location, many choices, and friendly staffs!Even decent sized parking lot! Highly recommended!
Great variety of Asian grocery. Parking is hard but generally an awesome location for buying food.
I really dont want to be overly harsh since this store was very clean and well maintained. However, the prices were the absolutely highest for any Asian grocery store Ive ever been to, and Im not just comparing to the no frills mom and pop shops in chinatown :(. But aside from price, I did find that many items were not properly labelled with either the expiry date or the price. I think it may be hard for them to lower the prices since they probably pay tons in rent, but I think the labelling issue could be fixed. The prices were high enough that I may not go back.
Always something interesting for this non-Asian shopper. And often at very good prices compared with mainstream stores, though the produce prices are similar.
For how small the space wa they creatively crammed a lot in including variety. Super organized! Was able to find all I was looking for easily. The signs in various languages helped.
Conveniently located but expect to pay that premium. Good selection of Asian products including produce and meats. Many can be purchased in Chinatown for much less. There are also a few restaurants in the front of the supermarket including, a bakery, a ramen place, and a curry place. None of these restaurants are particularly good or recommended. The bakery is arguably the best of the three. Shoppers should consider Target and Whole Foods around the block.
Superb collection of products. Huge shout out to the staff who run the place, they are very helpful and have a detailed knowledge of various products. If its not a busy day, they might even help you choose from a rather large spectrum of choices.
Make sure to stop and do some shopping! I come here for the cakes and bread but gogo curry is really good too.
Great place to get meats cut for asian dishes like bulgogi and shabu shabu! Produce is reliably fresh and they have all the asian cooking staples here! My only complaint is that the aisles are so narrow it is hard to shop with everyone trying to get past each other and browse the shelves at the same time. However, this store is the only place I can access with asian cooking staples, so I keep coming back.
Amazing selection of snacks and hot pot ingredients! Produce is a little bit pricey here though the staff is super helpful. They went out of their way to help me look for ube powder which I wasnt sure that they had or not.
Fun to visit. Occasionally, you can get help from a staff member.
This place is magical. There is one in the Natick Mall too and I believe one up north, but this location is bigger, has sitting area and the options are plenty! Any and every option is so good whether its sweet or not. The cakes are so fluffy and oh so yummy. If visiting this area, you gotta come here from time to time or often!
No free parking... not like Burlington... but still stop by if I am in cambridge area... always purchased side dishes and frozen mozzarella corn dog
The place is clean and set up appropriately for social distancing. The food for purchase is the same, fresh, variety and some reasonable priced. The cooked food are all opened. You can eat there. Every take has a sanitizer bottle and marked clearly where to sit out not to.
Amazing spot for Asian grocery shopping, but shopping for groceries in general may become a bit too pricey
Has a nice selection of asian cuisine...offers a fresh seafood department...free parking lot at the back of store.
24oz Organic Mango Smoothie, Almond Pastry, and Pastry Frank are tasting good. :-)
Overpriced products. The same instant ramen is cheaper in Chinatown boston. Also seafood overpriced like (shrimp/crab sticks/sushi salmon/sea urchin roe. In my opinion as Bostons best design architect this place gets too crowded during rush hour they need to make construct a second floor either above or below the main floor. By increasing access points(doors) and create more walking space will speed up the flow of traffic and increase their profits
Interesting Asian grocery store with food court in front
Bit crowded, hard to move around with the cart- otherwise great grocery store. There is a free parking just one block to the west, and it is dedicated to H Mart customers.
Really bad experience. Not recommended it.
H Mart is always dopeHOWEVER there was a dude that was sitting across from me that was like..my doppelganger it was wild. He looked like me, but from high school. Maybe H Mart has a secret time travel device in their bathroom. Ive never used the bathroom there
Convenient location and excellent π hours with many products to choose from π delicious fresh food π₯ to purchase everyday or just relax to enjoy with seating area!
They have all. Amazing place
Great place to receive manicure and pedicure and to get your hair done.
Itβs a supermarket full of Korean goods. Not bad. Shares a space with other restaurants and a baguette place so thatβs helpful.
I enjoyed the selection of places to eat. I didnt purchase any groceries but it was a nice place to grab a good meal at an affordable price.
This large beautiful store had everything we needed. The store is clean and staff is friendly. Simply the best!
I find everything I need here. The shop assistants are kind.
Update: Now has paper bags with handles! Still good mushroom prices and selection.Gives you paper bags without handles, so you can see people throughout Cambridge walking awkwardly with them. On unexpected trips I try not to buy much since it is hard to carry home.Great mushroom selection at good prices.
Limited of selection of produce. Lots of snacks. Gentrified/10
There is no social distancing here. Many couples shopping together, some aisles blocked by groups of three employees stacking shelves and shouting at each other. No attempts to regulate flow through aisles. The number of people in store may comply with health guidelines, but it sure doesnβt feel that way.If you are concerned about COVID spread, donβt shop here.(I used to love this shop)
Pretty well put together market. 9/10 times the produce and meats look fresh. The isles are always packed with employees restocking.
I love Hmart! Especially their fruit varieties... all products sold there are always at their freshest! Their prices are also fair... I frequent their Central Square location in Cambridge. I just love Hmart!
Really great selection of options
I love this place! Fresh seafood and fresh meat. Just wish they have more option for pre-made food.
Fresh produce and great meat and fish selection. Convenient location.
Great ambience, great selection of products!
Diverse selection of Korean and other Asian goods can be found here. Reminds me of home
Surprisingly packed a lot of items into a relatively small Hmart. Wait times for checkout are generally low. Clean and well maintained. The food court selections are mediocre compared to other Hmart locations but thats expected given the size constraint.Perhaps only big downsides are that prices for some common produce like eggs and yogurt tend to be higher, and theres less selection for organic produce. But again, their main purpose is to fill a niche that nearby Target and Whole Foods cannot fill. It has a way wider grocery selection than the Target across the street and of course, their Korean groceries selection is probably the best in all of Cambridge, Somerville, and even Boston.
I Actually have never heard of or been in any of your stores today I went in as a shopper for instacart,, I had 3 orders at one time!!βI just needed to let someone know how helpful the staff at this Cambridge location was. From produce to meat section there was a person or 2 in every isle willing available to assist me even for the simplest things.THANK YOU!!!
Great selection of Asian food, a little pricey though
Nice bakery and assortment of Asian groceries
Parking can be a pain but you canβt beat H Mart for selection especially of Asian grocery items. Service is always spot on.
Hmart became my pantry, the go to place since I became a vegetarian. My favorite items are natto, Korean omelettes, oyster mushrooms, yakisoba and dried seaweed. Id give it 5 star but they Are expensive to live on.. especially as a vegetarian.
Prefer this branch than the bigger one about 20min.s drive from city. They have good selections of Asian groceries, fresh vegetables, meat and seafood all in a compact space, makes shopping convenient and efficient.
If youre looking for the a-z of asian cuisine or just wanting to explore, this is were to shop.
Near my place but a bit expensice than the one in Burlington.
Friendly and great at showing u were products are.
Love this place. Great food court. Go go curry!
