I just finished my second install of a Magnolia Underdeck, this time for my son in Jeanette, PA. Out of five competing estimates, theirs was by far the best. The parts arrived in secure packing, in perfect condition via Dominion Freight. All parts were labeled to match our jointly developed diagram for easy identification. I set up my laptop and followed their clear, step-by-step video to guide the install. I put up a 300 sq. ft. ceiling-drain in two days with only occasional help from my son. He had a leaky, dank pad beneath a second story deck. He now has a dry, secure haven from Pennsylvania weather, thanks to Magnolia Underdecks!

We had Magnolia install our underdeck about 2 years ago and it still looks great and is performing well. We were very impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and craftsmanship of the person who installed our underdeck. The price was affordable, it was installed quickly and we get a lot of compliments on it. They even offer a cleaning service at a very affordable price. We will be using them again next time we need an underdeck installed. It has been worth every penny to us, now we can lounge under the deck, in the shade, and watch our guests swim in the pool. Five + stars!

After researching various products and getting quotes from several different contractors, my husband and I purchased an underdeck ceiling kit from Magnolia Outdoor Living. We chose the 4 beaded panel in white. While we are not contractors, we have completed a number of renovation projects at our house, so we felt confident that we could install the underdeck ceiling ourselves. The staff at Magnolia were wonderful to work with and helped us design a ceiling kit that worked best with the layout of our house. The ceiling kit was personally delivered to our home and we received assistance in marking the initial level points under the deck (1st step in the project). While it took working several weekends to complete the project, we are extremely happy with the end result. The staff at Magnolia were very helpful in answering our questions throughout the project. Magnolias online instructional video that demonstrates installation of the ceiling kit was extremely helpful. If you follow the instructions in the video, the ceiling kit is actually fairly easy to install. Our deck was large (13x42) with several angles, so it took a bit longer to complete the project. The underdeck ceiling is beautiful and were happy that we saved a ton of $$$ by installing it ourselves. We love our new outdoor living area and are now using it everyday. Thank you Magnolia!

In the summer of 2010 I began a search for a product that I could easily install under my deck to keep my Bass Boat and yard tools in the dry. I had made several searches on the internet along with telephone calls to companies trying to find the right product. I finally called Magnolia Underdeck and spoke to Fran about my requirements and she along with Betty helped me design my project and provide the necessary tools and panels required. She also provided the name of a local installer for my project.My space under the deck remained dry for 9 years until Hurricane Eta dropped approximately 4 inches of rain in a couple of hours on my area, That event along with the debris that had accumulated in the gutter caused sufficient water to cause the gutter to collapse and destroy several of my panels. Fortunately I had kept several of my Magnolia emails and found their telephone number. To my surprise when I called Magnolia, Fran answered the phone, found my original orders and I was even more amazed when she informed me that she could still supply me with just the five panels and tools to reinstall the damaged panels.After I explained that I needed the panels before Thanksgiving in order to have my Son install them for me, Ray and Fran made a special delivery to meet my request – I am very thankful that Magnolia Underdeck has survived all these years and with the service that they provide it is easy to understand their success!

Extremely happy with our under decking. We received multiple quotes before making a decision. No other business mentioned the importance of including a power ventilation system with the under decking. We were not willing to have wood rot or mold growing in the under decking years later, so we sought out this company specifically for questions about the ventilation. We were pleased with their superior knowledge and expertise on the system. The pricing was reasonable, and the finished product is quality and superior. The owner and employees were personable, and the job was completed efficiently. We would highly recommend this company above any other for your under decking project.

The Magnolia product has been great. We had it installed 4 years ago. Recently we have had some leaking and I called and was told it needs cleaning. I was also told that they don’t offer that service any more. I have been unable to find someone who does offer that service and find myself frustrated now with the product. Help would be appreciated!

I found Magnolia three years ago and decided to give them a try, they were very helpful. Their customer service is excellent. Ray and Betty Gibson are right there helping you design the underdeck system and give you ideas you may not have thought of.I live in Minneapolis, over a thousand miles away from Magnolia, so one of my concerns was shipping,There have only been five shipments containing damaged material, all of them too small to file a claim. Magnolia responded to the situation by shipping the needed parts the same day or included them in my next shipment.They have always tried to make it work so that you are successful.The shipment includes everything needed to install a complete Underdeck system. The pieces are marked so you don’t waste time trying to figure out where each piece goes, thus minimizing the chances of cutting the wrong piece. The tools needed to install the system are minimal. If you watch and follow their training videos to a T, you will find that you won’t have any customer call backs. I have found that if you follow Ray’s advice you will find that he really knows his stuff.The features and benefits of their product line are many, they take into consideration expansion and contraction, the ability to remove any one individual panel for servicing a leak, for future cleaning or making adjustments. They offer a power ventilation system to dry out the area to prevent mold and rotting. Just finished installing their under decking and they were very helpful throughout entire process and answered any question on installation. Materials arrived on time and when I ran short on paint for touch up work they had it in the mail the same day. Will use them again in the future.
