We just had a wall bed installed and could not be more pleased. We were given a lot of options to choose from and are so pleased with what was created for us. The attention to details - puck lights for reading, charging stations on either side of the bed, adjustable shelving and cabinets on both sides, hardware and stain that matches the rest in the room - is very impressive and the workmanship is outstanding - beautiful wood crafted into a lovely piece of furniture. Installation went very smoothly and with little mess or disruption. Very pleased and cannot wait to have our first guest try out the new bed.

We were searching for a firm that could make us custom built-in dressers for our master bedroom and a wall bed for the guest room. Rick worked with me over several sessions to craft a rather nice custom wall bed/bookshelf/desk combination. It has transformed my office. Rick and his crew take pride in their work, are a joy to work with, and the end product is awesome. This isnt the cheap stuff you get mail-order, this is real wood, solidly built, and built to custom specifications. I would recommend Furniture Design to my friends and family (already have, as a matter of fact).

Rick and his son created and made 3 items for my new home. I wanted not only a wall bed but I also wanted a sewing desk attached to it so I could have a place to sew yet still have a room for guests. Rick made suggestions and designed a unit that has been perfect. He also designed a desk unit for my bonus room to fit in a difficult place to put an ordinary spot. everyone who has seen it are soooo impressed. Rick and his sons also helped me update my kitchen cabinets and added some drawers and a wine rack to an empty space and NO ONE can tell they were added after the original cabinets were installed. Rick is a perfectionist and it shows in his work in all that he does. I highly recommend him for any kind of in home furniture or cabinets or outdoor furniture. Amazingly outstanding work. Rick has designed and installed a custom piece that stores and displays our wine and is a beautiful file and storage piece that exactly matches our home design and wood through out the house. He created an office suite and Murphy bed for a small room that is gorgeous and functional. He also built two units for storage and one set up for a sewing center with hide away doors. We have a solid wood hutch that we needed have a mate for and he built a matching cabinet that is so amazing it cant be described. The quality is beyond Outstanding! Hardwood, handcrafted, detailed and original - built for our needs and specifications. His workmanship is meticulous, his integrity is impeccable and I know that what he charges is beyond reasonable. We have referred and recommended him to our friends and they have all been as pleased and happy as we are!

Some of the best furniture design companies do not get enough recognition...and the BEST of the best in Idaho is Furniture Design, owner and MASTER CRAFTSMAN, Rick Parrott!!For the last several years 1 have been remodeling every room of my home and I prefer custom work, especially when it comes to wood work. I was blessed to find Rick when I began the remodels. He has designed several beautiful, one-of-a-kind items for me:1. A whole wall with a Murphy bed, an armoire, alove seat, a side headboard, and 4 storagecabinets2. An entertainment center for a large screen tvwith hidden doors (I like to close it off when Iam not using it) and 4 equally high bookcaseson each side which I also requested doors on.Storage beneath the tv for media equipment.3. A floor to ceiling storage unit on one of thewalls in my mud room with multi-size cabinets(so versatile that it makes me happy becauseI am an organizer.)4. A mantel and side posts around my fireplace.This was tricky because stone masons coveredthe wall around the original mantel and posts,but when it was done I disliked the originalso Rick designed a simple (my style) butelegant mantel and posts that complimentedmy Murphy bed wall and the entertainmentcenter wall. It had to fit the openingsPERFECTLY, like a puzzle piece, and it did!Because of all the BEAUTIFUL woodwork thisis my favorite room in my hone.5. I also wanted a large but graceful wall coathanger. The back is 2+ feet wide by 3+ feetlong. With lovely brass hooks, that Rickspaced just right, I was thrilled.6. And last but not least, even my wall-mountedkey holder is exceptionally attractive!!I never hesitate to recommend Rick Parrott for any woodworking projects. His designing skills and work are impeccable!! Besides that, he is kind, professional, and completely fair!!!
