This Flying J is a good stop for travelers and truckers. I would’ve got pictures of the inside but left my phone in the truck so unfortunately the 4 I have attached were on my way out. This does have a Denny’s inside and lots of other food options to choose from. Bathrooms were clean as well as the store. The parking lot out by the truckers could use some attention. It’s too bad some of them feel the need to just throw their trash out. The staff was all very friendly. Overall it was a good experience besides being woke up at 2:15 in the morning because we got hit by a Swift driver 3 times.

The truck stop is great until you have idiots park like this.

Just a normal Flying J. Lots of spots you have to pay for. Overpriced items in the store. Very rude management and no bobtail parking. I only park at Flying J or Pilot if I have no other choice.Big middle finger to this Flying J!

June 1, 2018My midnight visit found plenty of clean, remodeled showers, plenty of open parking spaces and a friendly, efficient staff running the show. This must be one of the top ten Flying J’s in the US. Management is on top of everything here, and thank you for your effort.The yard and facility is clean and well maintained, there’s a Denny’s inside. For all my bad reviews of other facilities, this one is a great truck-stop.

Spend hundreds of thousands of dollars at this flying j on fuel, but Whatever you do, do not get a plastic fork without asking for one. The cashier tonight flipped out then proceeded to say im not allowed a plastic fork for me and my passenger, just me. Ill be fueling at Sage from now on.

Showers were really clean and nice. Theres restaurants and travel supplies, water hook ups and fairly priced gasoline

I bought an $11 Bluetooth speaker at this location because I am on a road trip in a car I love that sadly has a very oldchool radio (not even an aux cord female connection!). I am also a member of the Flying J/Pilot rewards and have the app on my phone due to the perks of using it to save costs on a fountain drink here and there during our current expedition. I was really excited about this little device because it boasted being made for phone calls and music meaning…if you use it at a speaker phone during a phone call, the person on the other end of the conversation should actually be able to hear you through the speaker and not just vis-à-vis. The speaker turned out to be very poor quality. Made random noises akin to a frog on its death bed croaking in pain. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for, and Bluetooth technology isn’t usually very great at this price especially not a stereo car speaker. I tried to exchange it and give it one more chance in case the one I bought was a lemon and even went to the same location I purchased it to do so. The manager wouldn’t let me exchange the speaker for an exact replica because I had a digital copy of my receipt instead of the physical. He said he had to have the physical for the paperwork they send to corporate. I asked him if I could print the receipt for him since It is also an exact replica of the physical receipt I received for this purchase just like the $11 speaker I was asking to exchange, not even refund for cash mind you.My dad was a CDL truck driver for many years and always seemed to prefer Flying J to Love’s, but after this experience (and noticing Love’s is putting in dog parks at many of its location, a huge perk for us and our feisty little labradoodle), I ask you Flying J, why brand yourself using stoner friendly jargon if you’re going to have night managers like this one who was definitely not very chill, Dude. He needs to catch a flying J and put it in his pocket and smoke that bad boy when he gets off work because he was truly beyond ridiculous. I cannot think of a face to face experience where the lack of customer service oriented cognitive processing was so poor it was this laughable. All jokes & J’s aside what is the point of having a digital replica of my receipt if not for this exact purpose that I intended to use it for?

Just go to Sage rest stop. Close by and much nicer.

Great place to stop while out traveling or just running around town, they have great prices on fuel and the customer service was good. Also the coffee wasn’t bad on a rainy day.

So this is a great place to stop before you cross over the border into Oregon theyve got amazing Pizza a hot case that is just absolutely delicious any variety of drinks that you want great tobacco prices their store is always clean the restrooms are always clean and they have great showers... here truck parking can sometimes be a little sketchy but if you have to pay $12 to park your truck its well worth it theres ample room here and the reserved parking is in a great location you dont have to walk through the parking lot to get to the Dennys or anything else and this is just overall probably one of the best in the state of Idaho not only that their management team here is definitely Top Shelf so thats why Im rating this Flying J five stars 😎

Bought 2 hot chocolates and they were very thick, almost like drinking syrup. Nasty! Had to throw them away. Yuck.

Crammed in the hallway to our restrooms 2 apart, BUT WE, THE DRIVERS, ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE IN THERE TO WATCH TV!🤬 SO, Pilot/Flying J, OBVIOUSLY, ONCE AGAIN, YOUVE SHOWN US PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVERS THAT LOITERING DRUG ADDICTS ARE MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU THAN WE ARE. GOOD JOB YOU MONEY GUZZLING UNGRATEFUL JERKS! Same thing was happening at Rock Springs, WY & corporate wont allow them to be kicked out.

Didnt have smart water in stock, and then blamed the vendor as if ordering stuff isnt THEIR responsibility.

My husband and I just stopped here at this location. I used the ladies facility, and it was filthy. Please, please, think about your travelers who depend on your brand. This is ridiculous.

While I’ve been to a handful of travel centers this is the first time I’ve come across one that runs a loud speaker 24/7. Every few minutes it comes on to tell you about their available showers and pulling forward if you’re done pumping fuel to make room for other drivers.Makes sense during the day…maybe? But not in the middle of the night.

My wife & I have made the Flying J a weekly stop. I recently signed up for a good sam rewards card which helps me save money on fuel at Flying J. Gotta love that. Plus the cinnabon bakery located inside has fast & friendly employees who serve up amazing caramel pecan cinnabons.

Great place just beware of the beer cellar I took a picture of this because this is what you find in the beer cellar.

This guy will accuse You of stealing a cup of coffee so good thing the other employee rememberd me...she saved me from his Rath... Always make them give you a reciept....... Go to a different truck stop..

Better than fried food anyday.

Service was good. Server was friendly and efficient. Military discount was unexpected, but very much appreciated. Had ham and eggs. Eggs ordered sunny side up and they came hard, in fact tough. Ham was actually burnt. Completely burned black on back side and half of the top burnt black, and dried out. Server offered to take it back and have the cook try again. But, as we were running short of time I thanked her for the thoughtfulness and opted to just eat what I could and call it good. Overall a good enough experience. Beautiful facility, friendly folks, clean and quiet. Just ask the cook to pay more attention to what he is doing. Thank you.

Dennys doesnt open till 7am, no hours posted, you wait for 10 minutes, no pne comes to tell you, I walked back to all the loud giggling, only to be told oh we dontopen till 7. That was 8 minutes from when I asked. The other 2 people in line were just as unamused! Post your hours, oh and by the way, its a truck stop, stay open 24hours a day, trucks dont stop running! We went to the other truck stop!

Easy in and out. Great breakfast burritos and fresh brewed coffee.

Ate at dennys which was fine, but the management told us we had to leave while we were smoking and talking in the smoking area, their reasoning being no loitering. So unless youre alone and plan on getting directly into your vehicle and leaving, dont go here to relax because you wont be able to.

Kinda upset with service tonight. Hostess was great and sat me quickly. The server I had on the other hand was quite the opposite. Took her 15 minutes to even acknowledge I was here and then I asked for a refill on the empty drink I had since before she even took my order. Must be to busy gossiping with other servers. But honestly all I’m getting at is, IM FREAKING HUNGRY AND WANT A DANG REFILL.

Went last Friday with family members and the food was great!! Our server forgot to bring some things that were essential to our meal as she was too busy socializing with a few of the truckers eating there also. We had to ask the other server for what we already asked for and for refills for our water. If you ever visit on a Wed-Fri, ask to sit where Bree can be your server! She sure came to our rescue and received a better tip. Still tipped our first server, just less....

I go to flying j almost daily. The employees are so nice and positive. Ive known jon for several years great employee for flying j. And the graveyard cashier Jackie is just a doll to talk to. Recommend this place constantly.

When we are traveling this is where we usually stop. easy to get in and out of and hop back on the interstate. We have stopped in here many times over the years. The customer service is usually good here. They usually greet you when you walk in the door. When they bring out fresh pizza it is always good!

This J is excellent. There are many newer PFJ across the country that cant match the quality here. Great employee attitude, very clean, loved my shower too. The manager here needs to train others

We had dinner at Dennys the restaurant at Flying J Travel center in Caldwell Idaho. It is very clean, quiet atmosphere and polite, and attentive waitress. They have great menu items. I was hungry for chicken fried steak tonight. The meal was perfectly prepared, two sides plus salad and garlic flat bread toast. We get the 15% discount with the AARP card too.

I love this place❣Yolanda is always smiling and makes my visit to the truck stop fun and enjoyable! She is always ready and willing to help with whatever is needed. Often times she already has what I need at the counter so I dont even have to ask for it! Now that is great customer service!!!

Always the same, very consistent. Good food, good service, parking always semi full if not packed. Cheap smokes if thats your thing (not MO cheap but best around the west). Smaller parking lot, but unless its way late theres usually a spot or two.

As an over the road truck driver I want to say Thank You for providing clean showers. I was very impressed when I noticed even the fans in the shower rooms are clean. Ive stopped in multiple times, the staff is always friendly and showers always are clean. Its very appreciated.

Will not go back. The dennys here sucks. The only thing I might get here now is the fuel but thats it.

Busy or slow, the Staff knows how to go with the flow. Plus they have a little Cinnabon stand that the Wife just Loves! 2 Fresh ones Please! They have a Dennys in house too if you want to sit and Eat a Good Meal. Always remember to tip your waiter/waitress!

Very nice overall, not your typical Flying J. Better food options than most. The restaurant in the same building smelled delicious but I didnt get anything from there. If Im in the area again I would definitely plan on eating there.

Sticky floors inside.. trash on the ground outside.. food was luke warm at best.. the chicken strips we got had super hard spots and the tater wedges had very little flavor.. would have probably been better if we would have just went up the road and got burgers from Burger King..

If I could leave no stars, I would! We went in to get $15 in gas and they charged our card $151!!! Luckily we had the money in our account but apparently they do a $70 hold and for some reason held $151 in our account! Most gas stations do a $1 hold! This is absolutely outrageous! Definitely will not be getting gas there again and will be warning all friends and family about this!

This location really needs to get their stuff together and they need to get the facts straight in their head that without the truck drivers out here they would not have a truck stop or a job

After a long trip you need basic necessities such as shower, toilet and food! This location offers it all! Just check the photos I added. For 12 bucks that it costs you get a really good, clean shower room with hot water! Toilets are clean and regularly maintained in that room! Keep it up Flying J!

No toilet paper, no paper towels in both of the paper towel dispensers, no soap in one of the hand soap dispensers.REALLY?! Im afraid to see what the showers are like (falling off shower heads? Need to bring my own pliers to open the valve? Or maybe its as simple as me working all day, spending thousands of dollars with your company and then earn my showers and find that there is no soap in the shower, so I rinse off for $12?)Get a grip on it. This is disgusting.

Flying j employees vary. But this one stood out. Im from Jerome so normally bypass this one cuz Im full leaving. But WOW customer service needs 10 stars. Great attitude team members back each other. We have been to a lot of truck stops across the US. And this Flying J is the friendliest one weve been to. Starting at the front door. Showers extra clean, with very nice towels. Good food to go with it. Would highly recommend it to anyone.. We will stop again.

Good food not such great service at times but this last time I went and I paid with my card and before I could finish the transaction I had to choose one of the three percents of a tip. Not cool. I have been a waitress, cook hostess for a long time and I leave good tips because I know the job but it did make me angry that I had to choose a gratuity tip before my transaction. I will continue to go but will pay with cash because if Im sitting at a table or booth and it takes more than ten minutes for a server to come that reflects on the restaurant as a whole.

Not a bad place. Huge lot and alot of pull through spots. The fuel island is laid out backwards. Pick your spot wisely. Or youll have to wait for the steering wheel holders to get off their 30 minute break before you can pull out

They let my daughter and I share the shower so we wouldnt have to pay double. Clean clean showers always cleaned as soon as the customers are done using them. Very attentive staff. Clean fresh towels wash clothes shampoo everything I needed all included.

Reasonable prices. Food is ok. Parking is good. If you have to turn left to exit it can be rather difficult at certain times of day due to being right off a freeway exit as well as right near a stop light.

The attached Dennys is my main reason for the less-than-5-star rating. Staff was nice, but the food was mediocre. Ordered food to go and it was completely cooled when it got to us, even though it was supposedly made just then.

Yeah theyre okay. Is a good place to catch a quick shower do the laundry and maybe get a bite to eat over at the Dennys.I mean its not like a real truck stop. But thats a Dying Breed. So as far as Pilots go. Its pretty alright.

Love this fuel station. We are lifetime Good Sam members so we always save an additional 5 cents a gallon. That adds up over the year! Thanks for being there!

The truck stop is satisfactory, but the onsite Dennys Restaurant is not up to par.Service is very slow and the food has been poorly prepared and not in line with the way it is supposed to be prepared and presented. Probably will not return very soon.

Clean restrooms. Hot food options. Prices for gas higher than Boise. So dont gas up here. I get my gas in Boise where it is less. Flying J here used to beat Boise price, but no longer. Sad deal.

Quick service, Clean and friendly staff. Lots of cute souvenir options too and best of all crushed ice and Styrofoam cups for your soda... that deserves 5 stars for sure

This flying J travel center is typical for the Western States. I found it very easy to utilize the islands, pump my fuel and get my receipt and be on my way.I also had occasion to use the restroom facilities and found them clean and serviceable.

Clean, neat and the Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy on and off the for a fast refuel if you are in a hurry.

This time around our visit was great. Server was so good. Food was good this time too.

I was stranded in the opposite intersection and made a desperate call for help. A compassionate manager with a service technician whos heart is as big as his became my heroes. They didnt have a shop yet either.Sincerity is the key to your good customer service. I cant thank you enough.

First time there and I absolutely loved John the Cashier! Super friendly and helpful with side of humor!! The Showers were super clean!! Im sorry I didnt leave a tip as I didnt have any cash on me :( I definitely will make sure next time. The Dennys was very nice and clean as well!

My hubby is a trucker, so is my son. They always stop there and fuel up,get something to eat and head out. Clean place, caring people and fuel is reasonable.

It was very busy when I stopped but there were plenty of employees on shift. The bathrooms were clean and well ventilated. I also grabbed a subway sandwich here and it was well made and fresh.

Very easy to get to, its right off the interstate. This location is especially good for truckers, as its extremely easy to see, easy to get into a fuel lane, and get right back on the interstate. There is tons of parking for tractor-trailers. The staff do a pretty good job of keeping the place clean, which is no easy task for a truck stop. Having to clean up after lazy, messy, dirty OTR truckers must suck, but the staff does a great job.

This is a great flying I, approx. 6 pumps, 7 showers, nice driver lounge, new coffee machines and PJ fresh deli. Plentiful parking, easy on easy entry exit. Real nice and friendly staff. Cinnabon, everything you want.
