The ladies up front have always been very helpful and almost always have a great smile and happy greetings. All people are very helpful in this store.

I had a bad experience at the Nampa D&B location so I decided to try the Caldwell one instead. They did not disappoint.I was searching for some common lawn maintenance things and the employee named Leslie helped me with everything, literally EVERYTHING. She took me to all of the departments that I needed and discussed price per value, recommendations, instructions, and she also helped me load everything into my truck. I was BLOWN AWAY!Customer service like that is hard to find and if I ever need anything at D&B again I will definitely be going back to this location.

The people that work there are friendly and outstanding willing and ready to help you, although in the past 2 years buying their veggies have been very disappointing. I buy things that say one thing and something else comes up, I wish they were more accurate on there vegetable packs two years of this is my limit of purchasing them.

Multiple choices to choose from if you heat your home with pellets. Staff are very friendly also

I thought a couple of months before posting this. I bought two Stihl chainsaws earlier that morning. They would run fine for about 20 minutes of use and then you could not start either. Took them back about 4 hours later. They ran them and said there was no problem. I said no, they both will not start after 20 minutes of use. They said, we will send them out to get fixed and we should get them back in two weeks. I said no, I need them today, that is why I bought to new saws. Employee went into the back after I insisted money back or exchange and MANAGER said give him his money back and do not exchange. They made me feel like a liar and a con-artist. I have shopped D and B for 53 years and will continue too, but not for saws. I went down to Smiths Lawnmower Sales and Service (Stihl dealer in Caldwell) and bought the same two saws, same price. I told them my problem. They said yes those models have been doing that problem for about a year now. They made the necessary carb adjustment there and the saws have worked flawlessly for the last two months. I would like to give that D and B manager my two bits. If you are looking to buy a chainsaw, go to Smiths where because they are not a retail store. They are a saw shop!!

Kayleigh was awesome i am a single dad and shopping is my least favorite thing and kayleigh jumped in and took the reins and suggested all different kinds of pants for my daughter.it was the best shopping experience i have ever had for my 15 year old daughter.i am so glad we came there today and met her. The Caldwell D&B has great customer service. The Ontario store SUCKS! My friend & I were stalked & profiled as shop lifters! Big mistake, I was had at least $450 worth of merchandise i was going to buy. Went to Caldwell instead.

It is very Idaho every visit. Salt-of-the-earth people for the most part -- likely everyone who shops here is a Republican, likely their kids are taught by grossly underpaid teachers. But still as a living portrait of Americana, you have to enjoy it. Sweet, earnest and uncomplicated employees, genuinely helpful every time.

We needed a welder and they had it. A young man helped us and he was great and the girls at the counter were very friendly and helpful.

They are a great store but while I was getting my refund for something I was returning there one the employee that was helping me with my return was talking her private private conversation about her private life on the job well helping me that doesnt strike me as professional.

Visited today with my buddy who needed some work pants and BOY OH BOY, there is a huge selection of everything here! He was able to find a pair. I stilled through the rest of the store and was greeted by Eli, Hailey & Andrea at the register, all of whom were very friendly, professional and FUN to talk to! 5 stars for sure! Thanks guys!

Went for some bunny run stuff. They had everything I needed and they were super friendly.

Couldnt find what I was looking for, staff assisted quickly and brought the item while I was in line to pay so I didnt have to wait longer. Very helpful.

If you need something for your yard or farm, they probably have it. Just dont buy any clothes or shoes because their return policy is lousy. Bought a $60 pair of work boots for my wife, she wore them once, going out to dinner, decided they were unwearable and very uncomfortable so, I attempted to return them a week later with receipt. Was told they had been damaged because of a smudge on one toe. Not damaged, just a touch of dirt. Only problem i have ever had with D&B but, it is enough to keep me out of their clothing departments completely.

I got a good deal on discounted plants but when I went to pay for my plants the cashier wasnt very friendly and her attitude sucked.

Always buy our pets needs here. Great place with great prices.

Enjoy shopping at this D&B. My only criticism is towards those working in the garden department who seem to snap when asked a question of plant availability. A simple “sorry, no we do not have any at this time” is a much better response the snappy “no we don’t” along with the awkward facial expression.

D&B has a great staff always checking on me to make sure I find what I need.

The employees set off their security alarm just to search us because we dont look like everyone else in the store. Every time the alarm went off an employee was walking though the door with us. And when we went through the door alone it did not go off after they SEARCHED OUR STUFF and found NOTHING. They are horrible, stereotypical people. DONT GO THERE. They HUMILIATED us for NO reason other than how we look.

The store was very busy but service was great just to let everyone know if you do not already the plastic items like sprinkler parts are in short supply

Been shopping at this place for 20+years! Love shopping here but don’t know if I’ll go back? Im just as frustrated as the next guy when it comes to masks Trying do my part as D&B is so they say? Signs posted ALL CUSTOMERS MUST wear mask!! Although more customers are not then are. Privately owned, privately operated private property & they say they can’t enforce mask wearing yeah right? especially if they don’t even try Nothing wrong with a reasonable request! A slap in the face to the loyal customers trying to do there part adhering to the request! It’s Crying shame i tell ya cmon D&B your better than that!

Love this place, but hate it that they now require masks! There is no mask mandate in canyon county, and the people who shop here were great about social distancing. Ditch the masks, and youll be a 5 again!

Super helpfull staff. Everything i needed from chicken feed to puppy shots even screw on knobs(use them to hold the hard top on my jeep down) i could not find in 4 other hardware stores.

Honestly I was a little leary about going to D&B. Due to extremely horrible past experiences I had at the Ontario, OR D&B. That store is seriously something else, the employees are very judgmental, rude and down right unpleasant. They definitely profile people who enter the store, that is if you dont fit there criteria. Enough about the Ontario store.While I was shopping with my husband we definitely felt very welcomed the second we entered there establishment. We had several employees offer to help us. In which when we asked them for assistance they actually helped us. In fact they went above and beyond there job duties to insure we got the help we needed. They also suggested things we would have never even thought of doing while at the store like placing items on hold/special orders. In all actuality one of the employees went out of there way to go to another D&B location on there own time (not on work time) to acquire an item for us to pick up the following day. This D&B store has to be the best D&B location around for sure.

They have a new card system where you pull what you want, go to check out then drive around back and they load you up. The only time you touch it is when you get home. Great store but some prices are high.
