This was my first car buying experience and it went very smooth for me, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to trade in the car my parents gave me to buy a brand new 2021 Mazda 3. My salesman Dave Fairchild helped answer all my questions and my lease payment was even lower than I expected it was going to be. I love my new red car with all my features!! Thank you Dave!! We are still waiting for our new car to be detailed and we have had no updates on when that will happen. We need a keyhole cover replaced, but the staff was friendly and very accommodating to our 19 month old. Was a good experience but could be better.Update: My husband was contacted. They said that they still could not schedule the detail or the repairs but asked to have this review changed/updated. We are anxiously waiting for our detail.

If I could give them negative stars I would. Please shop around they over price there vehicles, they lie and tell you they will honor a price. My wife talked me into going to one of there parking lot sales, I had already had a bad experience with team Mazda Subaru five or six years ago. She found a vehicle she liked and we negotiated a price, it was getting late and we had a wedding to go to. I asked if you guys still have this vehicle tomorrow would you honor the price we negotiated. They said they would. Went back the next afternoon and they still had the vehicle. But wanted 1000$ more than we negotiated the day before. I had taken a picture of the negotiated price. They still wouldn’t honor it. The sales men there are not honest! I’m glad that we didn’t buy it because we found the same type same year more features and less miles for over 4000$ cheaper. PLEASE SHOP AROUND

Great service. And quick. In and out in 30 minutes. One piece of advice. Check your manufacturers recommended mileage for synthetic. Mazda states 7500-10,000 miles. Standard setting is 5000. Make sure they set it at the mileage you want. Dont pay for unneeded service

Team Mazda is less than helpful. First off they gave us a car that should’ve never been sold to anyone and blamed all of their issues on us. Second they don’t take accountability for the things the promise, etc. There’s so much more I could say about team Mazda, so take it as you will but don’t ever buy a used car from them unless you want issues, and don’t go through them as a first time buyer because they will only treat you nicely until you drive off of the lot.

I was in a really rough spot and didn’t expect to be able to finance a different vehicle considering I still owed quite a bit on the car I had and my credit is less than great. I drove through the lot after work one evening to check out an older used car they had and next thing I know I’m driving away in an almost brand new Mazda3! I never thought I would be able to have a car so fancy and reliable. Matt and Stanley made it happen for me and I’m soooooo beyond grateful!! This has been one of the most incredible car buying experiences I have had. I highly highly recommend these guys!

I worked with Mike, he was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. After the test driving process, I was hesitant to step inside the office, dreading the price haggling and feeling I’d be stuck for several hours during that process. Mike assured me that it wouldn’t be that way, and he kept his word! He showed me the best possible price he could give me and I left, telling him I’d need to consider it. He told me he’d be there if I had any questions. I called him back 5 hours later, and told him I wanted the car. He got the car washed and gas tank full. The paperwork signing was about 15 minutes. SMOOTHEST process I’ve ever experienced from start to finish! I’m going to recommend you and Team Mazda! Thank you, Mike.

Forest was incredibly helpful today!! I bought my very first car and he had a friendly and quick answer throughout the whole thing. He even sat and talked to us while we waited for the car to be detailed and goofed off while we looked at the books haha I was really nervous to go to a dealer, but he made the experience very enjoyable. Probably one of the best car experiences we have had. Took my youngest daughter in to just look at cars ... She did not think she would be able to bring home a new to her car. Her salesman Mike was very up front and honest. Its nice to get the information and details out of the way before sitting and test driving the car of your dreams. Things went so well that I called my older daughter (who was also out car shopping) and told her to come to Team Mazda .Long story short - they both came home with beautiful new cars ! The person who test drove with us was awesome! However, he is new.. and needed some guidance so the seasoned folks that stepped in were pushy to be honest! We were out of our comfort zone with where our payments were going to end up, and wanted to mull it over. We were basically told the deal is now or gone. Its not like we got anything super amazing either.We did buy the car, because we like it and needed a new one. But, the feeling of pressure was everything you would expect from the stereotypical car salesman! Also, we bought on a Sunday and we were supposed to get a call to confirm who the financing finally went through. No call.. Monday OR Tuesday. Lucky for Team we love the car, and Mazda quality is something we can verify.

Update: not 2 hours after leaving a low star review, Forrest called me and apologized and offered to help with the dash light issue as well as getting another key. That seems much more like the higher level of service when we first met him, so I feel a lot better about it now.Original review:It started out pretty great. Forrest got us into a vehicle we liked.Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since and weve tried emailing, calling, and even going in, but havent been able to get help from him on some outstanding issues.When the inner door panel started falling off when we got home from purchasing the van and we drove back, he ordered some parts and they replaced them for free (which was nice since I dont think they were technically under warranty). He showed us a symbol on the dash for some Auto on/off engine thing, but only later when reading the manual did I learn that the ! next to it means its broken.The newest issue is that he was going to check for the 2nd key, but we never heard back if he was able to find it or not. We also had to contact them to get the key replacement information since that wasnt included in the paperwork, which I thought was a bit odd.Theyre quick to get you a car and helpful for a short while afterward, but I guess dont expect any longer lasting service from them. Very disappointing.

I just moved to Idaho and needed service for my Mazda. When making the appointment the staff was very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival of the appointment Mr. Castillo was professional and answered all of my questions. It was a great experience and I will use Team Mazda in the future.

This was my second experience buying a vehicle and Team Mazda made me want to always return! We inquired with them after hearing an add on the radio, when we called we spoke to Mike in which he was extremely friendly and flexible with our negative equity, and busy schedule. When we finally arrived Mike was with another customer (we showed up about 2 hours earlier than our original time). We were then greeted by Joshua Gragg. Josh took a look at our situation and was 110% honest with us about what he could and couldnt do. He went out of his way to make personal conversation and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. He showed us our options and gave us wonderful recommendations. They stayed after hours to help finish the paperwork and we ended up trading our 2015 Jeep for a 2020 Chevy Malibu and a brand new 2021 Mazda M3. In the end we were paying the same amount. The following day we came to pick up the Mazda where Mike took us on a test drive, (he owns the same exact car) therefore he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful showing me all the tricks and answering my questions. Overall Mike and Josh made it a painless process. In the end theres no two better salesman that I could recommend! We made life long friends in the business and if your looking for a great car with a great buying experience, go see Josh or Mike at Team Mazda!

This was by far the very worst experience ever!! Brian Street the Sales Consultant is very very good at withholding information and then trying to make you believe he told you something. What an awful experience for my 20 year old daughter to go through to buy/lease a car. I will never ever set foot inside of Team Mazda in Caldwell if they were truly the last car dealer left on earth. Shame, shame, especially you Brian Street. I have been hearing their radio ads for years and decided to go in to look into selling my car and potentially purchasing a new car. The sales rep was absolutely awful. He was very condescending and it was very challenging to have even a simple conversation with him. The actual value they offered me for my car was actually 500-1000 less than the other two dealers I got offers from on the same day so I’m not sure how they work the calculation on the 130% above book value they advertise. On my way out a manager came out and told me the guy I was dealing with is new and doesn’t know what he’s doing so you might run into that as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, there are much better dealerships to buy and sell with here in the treasure valley.

I went in for the 130% of book value on your trade event and I got lowballed by about 2k. I got better offers from dealers just trying to match book value. I then tried to follow up and get a written copy of that appraisal and they refused saying, I dont think we do that. Even casually shopping, they seem like a shady and dishonest outfit. Would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Worst vehicle purchasing experience ever. Salesman flat out lied, stating he would get me a matching spare tire and rim, then back out as we were closing the deal. Finance agent made numerous mistakes on the paperwork, delaying the payoff of my trade in vehicle for over a month. After numerous phone calls attempting to resolve the countless issues, still have never received any management level intervention and or communication. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing anything from Team Mazda Caldwell.

Love these guys, from the time I got into my mazda 3 untill today, I have yet to have any form of any issue from the vehicle to the service, they even do my maintenance and everything. I have never until now given a 5 star rating in all the many years I have posted reviews, but Josh Gragg our salesman of Team Mazda, Mazda Dealership at 6218 Cleveland Blvd. Caldwell, ID 83607 deserves better than 5 stars. He went beyond his duty to get me qualified to purchase a vehicle. We live in Washington State, was visiting in Boise, ID the 2nd day here my truck just stopped running and would not start. My ECM burned out, it was towed to a repair shop. Frustrated after being stranded for almost 4 weeks exhausting my funds staying in motels, the part was still close to 2 months out they said. No way would we be able to stay in Boise for 2 more months. An Uber driver, which I would like to give a hug to, told us about a parking lot sale going on that Team Mazda hosts every year, and we went. It was the last day of the sale and close to closing time.. Josh Gragg met us at the door, and after hearing my story, he shook our hands and Said dont worry I will help you, well get you qualified for a loan to buy vehicle. We found one we really liked, but didnt think could get, but Josh Gragg took charge, He was very knowledgeable explaining everything as we went through the process, addressing my every concern. He got the dealership to take my broken down 2012 Acadia as a down payment, he got them to pay the bill at the repair shop, and gave me a gas voucher to fill the tank of the 2019 GMC Terrain that I am the proud owner of. After my car got totalled we had to go shopping for a new one. I HATE car shopping, I was perfectly happy not having a car payment for my 10 year old car (and I loved it too). I had done a lot of homework before setting out, and knew what I was looking for. After testing out a CX-5, they were fine letting us leave to go to otherdealerships and test out other cars. We came back because out of all the cars we looked at and tested out, we liked the Mazda the best. Jason and Mike were great to work with, and Stanley was so fun to do the paperwork with. Overall, there was a great feel with this group of people. Thank you all for making what is typically bad experience, a great one. Just dont get annoyed when I have to call and ask about all the features on my car all the time. Thank you!

The used Focus I purchased over Memorial Day weekend turned into a lemon. Spent 7 of the 12 weeks I owned it in the shop at both Mazda then Ford. No one could fix it. I tried to get out of the brand new contract snd no one would work with me. The car was dangerous as it would just quit in traffic (anywhere).I was forced to commit credit suicide and gave it back as a voluntarily repo. I wasn’t going to pay for a vehicle that I couldn’t trust with myself or family. Although I appreciate the loaner this experience has been nothing short of absurd!!

Sleazy people!! I bought a car here a few months back. When we drove the car off the lot the odometer read 70k miles. The papers they gave us read 79k. Someone messed with it during the time period they were getting it ready. Our fault for buying it without noticing, but watch your back. We also had keys stolen by a worker here.We were naive, please learn from our mistake and keep far from this place. Ive had friends who went through the same problem with their truck.

Well when we purchased our vehicle two years ago, we added oil changes and vehicle washes. Today our vehicle didnt get washed. Additionally, if they would have asked if we needed anything else or did an inspection, they would have seen we have a thrashed wiper blade. We would have gladly paid a reasonable price to have them replace them. Now my husband will do them.Your service department has gone down hill.

I am so grateful for Brian and Josh at Team Mazda. They helped us out tremendously. They got me out of an upside down loan and they got my interest cut by over 50%The customer service is phenomenal. They took the time to explain all the features in my new car and were very patient with me.

Thought I was getting a great deal on a reliable vehicle. Instead the niceness they exhibited was false. After making the decision to purchase a vehicle and returning after the weekend to pick it up, the truck bed cover was missing and tires had bed switched out. When I brought this to the attention of the salesman I was told by him and several other people that the deal had already been made, papers had been signed, and the best they could do is offer me 4 years off oil changes. Less than 2 weeks later, before I even made a payment, the front brake caliper feel off. When I called to discuss the problem I was directed to a voice mail and my message was never returned. I ended up fixing it myself. Few weeks later, just days after my first payment, the fuel pump went out on my vehicle. Instead of calling and being ignored like the previous time I decided to go in to the dealership and speak to someone in person. I was told that they would fix it and I would only be charged for parts. After reviewing the bill I was charged labor too. Again I spoke to someone and was basically told that it was not their problem I had to discuss it with someone else in a different department, that I should be greatful that I got a better deal than any other shop would offer. After doing a bit of research on the vehicle and running a blue book value, I found out the down payment on the truck was more than what the vehicle was even worth. Thats my bad for not doing research before I signed. Now I have a $5,000 plus loan, and I am making payments for a vehicle thats worth less than half of what I actually paid for it. Now, after my first scheduled oil change they are telling me that I only have 3 oil changes left and I need to use them within the next year and a half before a certain milage. Its only been 4 months since I left the dealership with the vehicle. I have spoke to many people around the area and have not heard anything good about Team Mazda. I will never shop there again nor will I ever refer anyone there. I probably wont even return to receive the rest of my oil changes. I will be looking for and giving my business to honest businesses in the area.

I Have just bought a pre owned Mazda from Team Mazda. David was very good at explaining every little detail so I could understand and did not put any pressure on me to buy at all. He took his time on the test drive to show me everything the car had to offer, every little safety feature was explained in detail. When it came to financing Stanley was very kind and explained in detail what was going on so i could understand. If i did not understand he would find a new way to explain it so i could. we signed the paperwork, Then Stanley went above and beyond to get me a better deal. i just got home from signing the new paper work. I have been to other dealerships that have been REALLY bad. i will never ever ever go to that dealership again. But Team Mazda made up for the other dealership by giving me such a great experience. I would recommended Team Mazda to anyone. I will be going there again to buy my son a car.

After a super long hard day and the last thing we wanted to do was sit in a car dealership...it was a bad day hence we found ourselves at this car dealership far from our home. We were only there for about 60 seconds before we met Gary, I was like great I didnt even really look at the cars yet. But Gary was cool he wasnt trying to sell us on anything he was like listen lets go inside run the numbers and see what we can do for payments you want then go find a car...I was very specific I needed leather 3rd row with captain second row seating. I looked at two cars but the payments just werent where we wanted them. So I said alright go get me whatever you have with 3rd row. He goes and gets a Traverse with a bench 2nd row and no leather. My heart was a little broken because at this point Gary was like a new family member we had gained in this search with us and he thought that was the only other option he had. Then he goes let me go check on one more. And he said you dont have to marry it just date it. I said I dont want to date this one. And then he went and got my new car it fit all the mold...we went the long way there and it was late. So we were cleaning out the old car signing paperwork and getting stickers off the new car well past closing time. Then half way through the signing the Internet went out and we couldnt finish. It was now 10pm we had drives 8 hours into town and spent 5 hours at the dealership we were tired and hungry and out car was now fully put in the new car. So they said take it and come back in the morning to finish. We went back at 10:30am car packed for our trip home with two dogs and two kids and we finished quickly. Gary got to meet my beast of a dog. They made this terrible weekend better. I will drive all the way back to Idaho to buy another car from them!!

Service was great! I love my new Mazda CX-9. Mike sold me during the test drive. By far the best test drive ever! He really knows all the features this car has to offer. Finance department was also great. Overall my experience was amazing.

This dealership is wonderful! They know how to do customer service (they even gave me a cappuccino and a bottle of water within five minutes of my arrival) and they dont pressure you AT ALL! They do everything backwards (credit check/financing and working out the down payment/monthly payments BEFORE test drives or making you fall in love with a vehicle you cant afford) which in my opinion is how everybody should do it! They also give you great deals on your trade in vehicles and they blew my mind with what they were willing to give me for my junky car! I will be recommending this dealership to everybody I know who needs a car starting with my younger sister! Shes very excited!

When our car started having trouble on our road trip, we stopped in Boise. Unfortunately, their Mazda dealership was fully scheduled, so we contacted Team Mazda, and they were able to see us right away. Sal in particular was a huge help! He was always available, clearly answered questions, and provided great service - as did the other people we spoke to. Though we didnt get to finish the road trip, the car worked great after they fixed it and we had a smooth ride home.

Forrest was amazing! When the first car test drove was out of my price range, he helped me find a new car that I could afford and that I really liked. No pressure to buy anything. Everyone else that I have dealt with from Team Mazda have been extremely helpful.

I was at Team Mazda for a new vehicle courtesy oil/filter change, vehicle inspection AND car wash :-). The staff in the service area was great. Everything that would take place was explained to me and I was in and out within an hour, as promised. The waiting area was super clean and they had a fancy coffee machine so I enjoyed a (free) Vanilla Mocha while I waited. I’ll be taking my car back to them for all of my service needs.

A few years ago when I bought my subaru I took it in for an inspection and tune up. They proceeded to Overfill my transmission which blew a gasket causing a consistent leak. They never fixed it and kept charging me for fluid. After that They tried to convince me I needed to replace my 8500$ cvt transmission for a simple fix (on a problem they caused) that any other Subaru dealership can find and fix for 250$I dont know if the same people work here but Theyre in the business of causing problems to fix. You have been warned
