My wife and I worked with Gayle Proctor at the Caldwell store for our building materials package for a 36x60 shop that we have been planning to build. After trying to work with other building supplies stores in the area, without much success, we just spent the better part of 2 weeks talking with Gayle nearly every day as she studied our shop plans and put together our package, and we couldnt be happier with the level of service that she provided us. Everyone in that store; from Gayle, to Dustin (in windows), to the delivery driver, were always courteous, respectful, and willing to help us with whatever we needed. Thank you all! Franklin is now my new favorite building supplies store!

He called within 5 days and set up an appointment to install the door the very next day!Jim did the installation. I dont understand these negative reviews. I had a great experience at Franklin. The assistant manager, Andrew, walked right up to me when I walked in. He spent 20 minutes answering my questions about my kitchen renovation, then the designer, Amber, spent another 30 minutes with me walking around the showroom giving me ideas for my kitchen. I was really impressed with their big showroom where they have made lots of rooms as examples for what people can do in their homes. I thought the coolest thing was that they have build the front of a house in the showroom, it gave me a better idea of what I wanted than attempting to picture it from catalogs. Its really cool. Like I said, I dont understand these negative reviews. I had a great experience at Franklin.

The employee that help me my grandfather out was amazing and bilingual. If I have to go anywhere for wood or anything like that again its definitely Franklin building supply and not the big Box stores.

Jeff and his team were outstanding. They were prompt at completing a fair and detailed quote. Once they were onsite they were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. After the work was completed the cleanup was immaculate. I would definitely recommend them.

Im very new to remodeling and I am so greatfull for all the amazing staff, for having patience with me and answering all my questions. They went above and beyond. They have gained a new customer for life, along with my family and friends.
I was in the store for twenty minutes and no one acknowledged me. I went to the desk to ask pricing on cabinet hardware and the person at the desk said he could not help me and all the cabinetry sales people were in the field. He was not capable of looking up the price. I said weird and walked out and will be giving my business to someone else. I may check at another location and see if they have anyone who knows anything about customer service. Or is this how all the stores are run.
Very fast unloading
It took me 3 days of calling Franklin Building Supply to talk to someone for an insulation quote and nobody called me back. Then I find out that they were a week out until they could fit me in. I didnt feel like a valued customer and it felt like they didnt care for my business. I found a company that could beat their price and do it within a day. Ill take my business elsewhere.
Franklin Building Supply was sub contracted to do the garage doors for my house, to include doors, door springs, rails and garage door openers.There only two things that were done well - the doors are okay, metal both sides of the doors, and the garage door openers, which are top quality Chamberlain.The rest of the install was sub par, junk. I would never recommend Franklin for the installation of garage doors, they will do it on the cheap, the very cheapest way possible.
I have personally worked with Franklin Building Supply for our building company for many years. Franklin is always efficient, friendly, and always available when needed.
Customer service next to none ....i called them 7 minutes before closing and was able to pay over the phone and will call my item this enabled us to be able to complete our weekend job
