I have been doing business with Calabasas Car Care and xpress lube for 14 years. They are as honest as they come. What truly convinced me of their honesty was an event that took place about 10 years ago now. I had brought in in Old 1990 Acura Integra with over 250,000 miles on it because of a steering issue. They told me that the subframe bushings on the steering rack needed to be replaced but that the cost of said replacement would actually be higher than the value of the car itself. They advised me against doing the work. Anytime a shop is willing to turn down work because they do not see the value in it for the customer a sign of a very honest shop. Since then I have been doing steady business through them and have only had one issue which they resolved very quickly. I have at any given moment between 3 and 6 cars depending on the year and what the children are doing so I do a lot of business with them. I cannot recommend them enough. It is a small family-owned business which I also like because it supports our local community. If you need anything for your car I highly recommend checking these guys out.

Bought a Ford Ranger where the service records that came with it indicate this was the place that had performed the last oil change before I changed the oil myself. Somehow, despite having the correct engine size (4.0 L) written on the invoice, they decided it was appropriate to install the wrong sized filter for a different kind of engine, causing oil to leak all over the underside of the truck. Would not at all recommend bringing your vehicle here for oil changes.
The guys here are really nice and gave me a coupon! I went across the street to Taco Bell and by the time I ate and came back my oil change was already done. Great service from everyone. Even the men not involved with my car smiled and greeted me.
People here are chill. They seem to confuse alot of customers though with actual cost with add ons etc. Im always hearing people complain while I wait. Outside of that great spot.

Wow David was a huge lifesaver for me today as I realized the bottom plate under carriage had lost a few nuts and it was dragging while I was driving down freewayLuckily, I was ony way through Malibu Canyon. I stopped at Chevron and was told to try Calabasas Xpress Lube. David put a few nuts and bolts in and topped off my low antifreeze. THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND KINDNESS. David deserves a promotion.
Paid for full syn 5w-20 oil. They put in dino 10w-30 oil (out of spec for my car) and wrecked my engine.
