Loved this place. Incredible selection of records, cassettes, 8-tracks, DVDs & VHS. All at reasonable prices. They carry both old records & new releases. Friendly conversation w/ Chris, who I think is the proprietor. He even offered a free replacement case for a cassette I was buying, since its plastic case was a bit busted. He also mentioned - and this is awesome - if any of the tapes happened to be messed up/unplayable, hed take em back as an exchange. Highly recommend this spot.

Good time on wensday morning we purchased guitar box of dvd and record players I think a lot more people should viste them quite often .

Awesome! Way better than its previous owner by Ross, C-D Zone. Its crazy how much of a selection they have at great prices too. And they clean every DVD disk you purchase so its good as new. Absolutely loved this place! One problem. Now I need another storage room for all my DVDs and C-Ds. Lol

Really fun store with lots of interesting things to choose from. There is a wide selection of music and movies, and tons of vinyl. Dont come in with a specific thing, just dig and be surprised!

Somebody told me about this store and I went to it one day and he had a whole shelf full of kiss albums and then I bought all of them and sebody stole my creatures of the night and music from the elders and the guy said that he will look for some for me I love this store I recommend it

I just discovered AVX about three weeks ago and have stopped in once a week since. There is so much to see and the stock is always changing. The owners are super knowledgeable and a lot of fun to talk music with. I just picked up a couple of original pressing punk albums there...cant wait to go back!

Awesome selection. You have to do some digging to find what you want but it is worth it. We came from out of town and happened to pass it on our way to target and decided to make a stop. So much inventory! Definitely worth looking into.

Owner did not even look up when we walked in. I introduced myself. He said little more than hello. Store is disorganized and dirty. A lot of product, but no idea where anything was. Saw no indication of indexing. store was a ghost town. Asked a few questions and got short, one word answers. Wont be back. Very disappointing. Probably would have spent a lot of money there, as I am a huge collector. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. I would sooner drive an hour away to Pittsburgh.

I went in trying to find some inexpensive movies. They have a ton of movies and records, but it isnt very organized. I would suggest to them to organize alphabetically instead of general theme.Also, a dehumidifier would help with that awful damn smell.

These people are awesome. They had a movie I wanted to watch with my son who was home sick . I got stuck at work and was not going to be able to make it on time . They were nice enough to drop it off at my work because it was on their way. That is what customer service is about. Thank you so much!!

Im not from butler, we were out that way visiting someone and this place was very easy to find. Very small place but they had so much to look at, lots of music also. I definitely would tell others to stop in if they are out that way.

Dale the owner,is the most knowledgeable person you could have running a store like this. Hes a powerhouse of intellect. This place deserves 5 stars.

Ive been supporting these guys since the CD Zone days. Im a huge believer in physical media, and they keep it alive by providing a loaded selection with ever-changing titles. Every time Im in the area I cant help but stop to see whats new. Competitive prices, good customer service, and the satisfaction of digging through vinyl, CDs, and Blu Rays keep me coming back.
