Fantastic experience at M&R. Recently purchased a zero turn for my home from Sean. He was great to work and and made the whole experience a breeze. I would undoubtedly recommend M&R for all of your power equipment needs. My only regret was not purchasing a hat to show off around town that Im an M&R Power Equipment guy.
I bought a new Z-mower from Nick Mainhart at M&R. Although I had done my research ahead of time, Nick was able to help me fill in the gaps and guide me to the perfect mower for my needs. We were able to work the entire transaction over the phone and via the Internet (which was helpful during the pandemic), and they delivered my new ZT150 right to my garage. Nick also followed up to make sure I am happy with the mower. Great service in tough times!
I just purchased a Cub Cadet zero turn mower from Sean and the folks at M&R. Im very happy with the mower and with their sales process. They were very efficient and accommodating to my tight schedule. Their price was very fair and their inventory was much better than many places I contacted locally and distantly. Would definitely recommend!
We were shopping for a new zero turn, and almost positive that we wanted a Ferris. While calling around to see what was in stock I spoke with Sean Huegel. He is very friendly, professional, and honest. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and never acted as though we were a bother. He made the transaction very easy to complete. Sean is extremely easy to deal with. We ended up purchasing a Ferris and absolutely love it. He definitely steered us in the right direction. I highly recommend contacting Sean for all of your future purchases.
I want to thank Rodney, Tim, and Mike for helping me out with my project...They rented me a B26 Kubota with a front loader and a backhoe. We sold our above ground pool and a deck. It left me a big mess in the backyard. Using the Kubota I was able to move 8 ton of topsoil and you can see the results. Im not that experienced with excavating but the Kubota made it easy to get the job done. Thanks again M& R Power Equipment!!
We met with Sean Huegel while shopping for a new zero turn. We told him what we thought we wanted and he answered all our questions regarding zero turns versus traditional tractors. He asked us questions to determine what was best for us, our yard size, the terrain, our expected comfort level from a tractor and he pointed us to the Ferris machine we purchased. We didn’t purchase that day - told him we wanted to think about it - no pressure from him trying to make the sale while we weren’t ready. We called back a few days later ready to purchase, he explained he didn’t have any of that model ready but he did have one that needed to be assembled. Told us when it would be ready and we picked it up on the day he said it would be ready. Smooth, smooth, smooth transaction. Would definitely recommend Sean to any of my family or friends. Wish buying everything was this easy.
I went in looking for a 42 inch riding tractor. I talked to Sean who said there was no stock but he just ordered a 46 inch for his new home but it was going to be too small for the new property. Do he ordered a much larger model, he then changed the order to reflect my name not his. In two weeks the lawn tractor came in he called and I went up for a demonstration on how to use the tractor. It was delivered the next day. I was very happy with all Sean did on our behalf. He was so very friendly. I would not hesitate sending someone his way in the future! All in all a great experience!!!
Recently purchased a Ferris zero turn from M&R, worked with Sean at the Butler store. He was great to work with, the process was straightforward, and they made sure everything was good to go before I picked it up. Would highly recommend to anyone.
I called this morning on a used lawnmower they had listed on their website. When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone I asked if it was still there he said it was still there. And when I proceeded to ask more questions about the mower and other mowers that they may have he did not want to be bothered and told me to just go to the website to see the descriptions and the mowers for sale. I told him that I had over 100 mile drive and I wanted to know more information. Again he told me to refer to the website and did not want to be bothered on the phone. I then drove an hour and 45 minutes to find out that the mower that they had listed for sale actually needed the motor replaced end it was no longer for sale. Hopefully they will use this as corrective criticism that you should not write people off when they call in and want to be informed on a phone conversation. My time is my most valuable asset. And if they would’ve just given me five minutes on the phone this all could’ve been avoided. Do your due diligence before considering traveling to this location.
Mike in the rental department went above and beyond to help me pick the right machine for the job.. and Shawn the delivery guy was very nice to deal with.. I would recommend anyone to go there.. I will be a returning customer
Great people, Nick in sales is awesome. The delivery was on time and pleasant.Love my new pro Z 900!thank you
Good place to get parts for most makes and models of your lawn equipment.
Sean was very helpful in helping my husband purchase his zero turn. Came quick and before he said it would!
Was in the market for a new riding mower.always owned cubs.contacted m and r in butler asking about the new 2021 xt2 gx54d. Answered my call right away and got me set up with finance and everything I had to do. Made the process very easy. Usually takes a week for mower to be ready I examined I would be out of town and the salesman said he would do the best he could make it happen. And I recieved a messeged earlier that I expected that mower was ready which was awsome. Went there picked up mower after being shown all the bells and whistles and how it operated. Took mower home absolutely love it. Salesman said was best cub rider and he was right. Would absolutely recommend this place if you looking for a new mower
Great business! My husband bought a machine from them. Sean was great and made sure he was happy with everything! We will definitely go back!
I purchased a new BX 23s last week from Sean. I was looking at a couple other brands (Red and Blue). Sean answered many of my questions on several occasions over the 2 week time frame I was comparing. He was very knowledgeable and I still talk to him even after the sale with questions. The dealer also has many extras I have added to my machine in stock and the prices are as good or better than online especially if your paying for shipping! I feel I will have great service with M&R for years to come! I am very satisfied with my machine and the experience as well!
I do not recommend this company for servicing. Maybe theyre good for sales but their service department is awful. They took 9 weeks to repair my mower due to a backordered part. I understand the backorder wasnt their fault but their lack of communication throughout the whole process was extremely frustrating. They NEVER called me to give me updates throughout the process and when I would call they never had a clue what was going on with the backordered part. At one point when I questioned how they could have no idea when the part would come in 7 weeks into the process I was told that they had nobody at Kubota that they could contact for status on my part. When I finally spoke to the parts manager 7 weeks into this process she told me that our conversation was The first time she was hearing of the situation which was either a lie or incompetence. When I explained how frustrating this has been her excuse was that her staff was young and overwhelmed. Then the one and only time they called me was to tell me my mower would be ready for pickup on Monday and I questioned what time I should come. The service manager said any time. I showed up on Monday before closing only to be told it wasnt ready and they claimed it was not their fault but they never showed me the common courtesy to call to give me a heads up to not leave work early and get my trailer to drive 25 minutes to their store. So basically from step one to the final step they never communicated well and never took responsibility for what turned out to be a very difficult process. For all those reasons I cannot recommend using these guys for service and they will never get any of my business again.
I had a great experiencing purchasing a used zero turn mower from Sean at M&R. He walked us through the various machines we had picked out and helped us hone in on the right mower to fit our needs. I would certainly recommend them to a friend!
Purchased a new cub cadet in April requested delivery they gave me a time I took off work they never showed or contacted that they wouldn’t make it. When I did get it I drove it down my drive way and the drive broke contacted them about getting it fixed they stated they would come to my house and fix it gave me a day they day came and went with no contact; talked with the GM Tim about this he assured me that’s not how they operate they are short staffed etc. When they did come to fix it they stated they could not fix it at my home they would have to take it into the shop they would be back another day; again never showed and came the day after. A week later today it was to be delivered and it’s fixed another day wasted waiting on them. Still have yet to get to mow with my NEW tractor . I would not recommend this horribly ran company to my worst enemy the poor customer service and the disregard for their customers time is despicable. This all could have been fixed with a sales man or the general manager taking 10 seconds out of their day with a phone call to state they were unable to make it but for now I have a $4000 mower that I have yet to use in 2 months.
Recently purchased a Ferris IS 700 from the team at M&R Power Equipment in Butler with Sean Huegel leading the team. Sean did a great job staying patient and working thru the process. He provided training and on-time delivery when needed. Great experience and highly recommended!
We recently purchased a brand new Ferris 2200 zero turn mower. We waited about a week before the mower was ready to be picked up as it had to be delivered from another store and gone over. We were happy with our purchase until we went to go use it for the 2nd time and noticed something didnt sound right. Upon further review we realized there were gaskets, nuts and bolts missing from the exhaust causing an exhaust leak hence the loud noise. We called to discuss the issue and were told we needed to bring the mower back out and it would be a couple of days before it could even be looked at and around a week before we could get it back. When purchasing a brand new item you dont expect it to have issues and you certainly dont expect to have to wait a weeks plus to get it diagnosed/fixed. Luckily we have the means to fix the issue ourselves however would expect somewhat better customer service.
Just purchased a new Kubota BX23S from M&R Equipment about a week ago. Very pleasant experience. Sean did a good job explaining everything and made the purchase very easy. Would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a tractor. Had a few questions after using it this week and all of them were answered promptly.
This place has been able to save me money countless times...... but only due to the fact that nobody offers any type of help after being there for 10 minutes or better clearly looking for a weedeater to purchase with several counter and sales personnel available. This is my closest local dealer for both Kubota and stihl yet I find myself disappointed every time I try to purchase anything which has varied from a $5000 brand new loader attachment down to simple parts and string trimmers All of which I have purchased through other dealers At a better price with better customer service.
I decided to shop here for my Cub Cadet XT 1 vs going to one of the big box stores, such a great decision. Knowledgeable staff, very friendly and Sean walked me through how to work the tractor before I left the showroom. The tactor was delivered tuned-up, aligned, fully fueled and ready to go a few days later. Great customer service experience, highly recommended! - Bob
Recently bought a new Z421.Sean who is the salesman made the buying process very easy.Picked up the new machine it was washed up to show room quality.A special thanks to Sean for fixing me up with a new oil filter for the first oil change. Thanks again 👍
Always helpful and great help in the parts department
Sean and M&R Equipment are knowledgeable, professional, and willing to help you into the equipment you are looking for. Most dealers would not tell you how to get a 22% discount just by being able to sign up for Sourcewell. That in its self had us purchase a B26 TLB at more then a fair price. And no negotiations needed. Would highly recommend.
I dont want to share too many details because this company still has my equipment and I dont even have a call-tag for it.Im giving them 2 stars because they started out great. I had a good experience scheduling my equipment to have maintenance done. I dropped it off and had a friendly staffer to help me move the machinery. And I even got an update on the status of my machine about 2 weeks after I dropped it off.Fast forward a few weeks later and EVERY call I have attempted to the service department goes unanswered. If you wait a very long time, the rings eventually stop and you can leave a message. I have left messages with callback numbers asking for anyone to call me back to let me know the status of my machine. Nothing. No response whatsoever by anyone in that department, nor anyone from any other department who should try to cover for the service department, who clearly doesnt give a flying you-know-what about customer service. What is my recourse? Well, I now need to drive about 45 minutes to the location I dropped my equipment off with JUST TO ASK WHEN THEYLL BE DONE.M&R--stop responding with your canned were so sorry replies and fix your service department. You have a SERIOUS problem, and its losing you business. Youve lost mine.
Horrible service. I was supposed to have a mower delivered this morning and it never showed up. I called at 12:30 and they said it would be there in a couple of hours. 4:00 came still no mower. Got put on hold for 20 minutes then disconnected. I can back and no answer. Left 3 different people messages.Well talked to the manager the next day. He apologized and said this was unacceptable and had it delivered the following Monday. You think I would have got at least the delivery fee refunded. But I got my mower so well see how it goes.
M&R offered a complete package of the used Kubota GR2120 I was looking for(mower,Bagger and Blower} I contacted A representative and Nick Mainhart got back to me, After agreeing on a price I made arrangements to pick up the tractor as I live 150 miles away from the dealerArriving at M&R I found my machine and attachments on display by the front entrance ready to goCompleting the deal took a few minutes and Nick surprised me with a packet of manuals I had asked about. We proceeded to load the tractor in my trailer, Nick and an associate came out and did most of the loading which was gratefully appreciated and with business concluded was on road homeAs a previous Kubota owner (G5200) my New to me tractor is meeting all my expectationsI would not hesitate to recommend or do repeat business with M&RThanksTony Beck
Jason Zach at M&R gave me the best customer service experience I have had. My company had an breakdown of one of our fleet vehicles that had to be back up and running, I call M&R on a Longshot, Jason found the part, ordered it, and had it to me in in less than 12 hours. Nobody else could find this part. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you guys so much.
Very helpful people that know what they are doing.
Sean was a huge help. He went above and beyond for me when he didnt have to... Very rare to find a guy who is willing to go the extra mile and truly look out for you these days! Thanks again Sean!!!
Purchased a 2017 used Kabota BX23S from M&R a few months ago. Logan was very helpful in the purchase. Super friendly & knowledgeable! I highly recommend him as a salesperson. The service dept on the other hand I wouldnt send my worst enemy to. I was told the tractor had a hydraulic lead when it came in on trade & that the leak had been fixed by tightening a fitting. After delivery and 1st time time use on the tractor, the leak was still to there and very noticeable! I spoke with the service dept to see if they would make it right by sending someone to replace the f.e.l. coupler manifold that was leaking. After getting the runaround, be decided they needed to come pick it up to fix it in the shop. He said they would try to cover it under warranty. I told him it would not be because I already confirmed with other local dealers that a 3 yr old tractor is no longer covered for hydraulic leaks on the f.e.l. He gave me his word that they would cover it in house if it wasnt under warranty. I told him I didnt want to pay a penny out of pocket otherwise I would order the part and fix it myself. He said I would be charged nothing. they came and picked up the tractor had it fixed and sent it back to me in a timely manner. The invoice said that there was no charge to me. I was pleased that they had made it right even though it was a bit of a headache dealing with the service department over it. Fast forward a couple of months and the service department called me saying and I quote the sad reality of it is that you are responsible for the charges because it wasnt covered under warranty. I kindly told him that he was out of his mind and not a man of his word. After about 1 hour of aggravating debate over the phone, he said that if I would pay for the parts they would consume the cost of the labor etc. he sounded like upper management was pushing him to try to get money out of me even though he knew it wasnt right. Do not trust this service department! I will certainly do business elsewhere on my next purchase or service!!
I like the people at m&r. Great professional place.
Decided to purchase a compact tractor and settled on an Orange BX2380. Talked to a number of Kubota dealerships. Pricing was similar among all of them so the difference really came down to a knowledgeable sales staff and my confidence in their ability to deliver a well prepped product on time.Sean Huegel was great. As an engineer and a first time tractor buyer, I had lots of technical questions. He had the answers and even provided some of manuals so I could more fully evaluate what I was getting.Sean went thru a thorough a pre delivery training session. The BX2380 was delivered on time. Being a fussy engineer, I went thru all the checks and adjustments recommended by the manuals for the loader, tractor and 60 inch deck. All were within spec.Highly recommend Sean and M and R.
Our 2+ year old Kabota turned out to be a lemon and, of course, there are no lemon laws for tractors. Even though it was out of warranty, M&R completed the multitude of repairs as in warranty items. After we decided it was time to get rid of it, Sean REALLY put forth effort to get us great deals on both the trade-in and new purchase. So much so that we ending up buying a zero turn as well. Sean is awesome to work with and will get you the best deal out there. Thanks, Sean!
Edited** I initially gave a 1 star review for poor communication among the service team. However Justin the owner reached out and gave me his word that he would make the situation right. And he stuck to his word. M&R serviced our company Kubota and gave it a brand new engine. We’ve had it back a week and have no issues at all. 4 stars given due to the amount of time it took to complete work. However, everyone was responsive, professional, and stuck to their word.
Nobody seemed to care what I needed so I left, wont be back
Service department is terrible in my opinion. I would never recommend this place. They have had my riding mower for over 40 days. They picked it up 3/12/21 and today is 4/22/21. Thats just UNACCEPTABLE! Called a couple times and they just blow smoke my way.
Highly recommend if you need something fixed! We dealt with Jesse in service, and he was very easy to deal with!
Sean and his team were wondeful! Everyone was cordial and very informative including members of the sales team, parts personnel, and even the mechanics. I have to say it was one of the easiest large purchase decision I have made and couldnt be happier! Thanks for going the extra effort! Will do biz again.
The M&R Power Equipment dealership was clean and neat with a large variety of tractors on display to choose from. Our sales person Sean was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Not only did he answer our many questions but provided useful information on the operation and maintenance of the product we purchased. We recommend this dealership.
Knowledgeable staff (in the store, service & parts department, and trucking/delivery personnel) very courteous, and provided valuable information and help. Thanks to Nick and the team for their assistance.
My salesman Shaun did a awesome job.So did the service department getting my machine ready. This is my second machine from them.Great to deal with
Straight up good people. Super fair and even followed up after sale (2 weeks later) to be sure everything was good! Will buy here again
I usually have had pretty decent experiences here. This was a bad week. My tractor blew a front tire last week. I stopped in to see if they had any in stock, it could order one. Well, I had to get it ordered in, and was told it could take up to 2-3 days. Turned out by getting the tire mounted on a new rim would only be $20 more. Great! On the third day, I called to see if the wheel and tire were in, but was told it was back ordered, but he needed to call me back. Turned out that part combo was discontinued, and the alternative was to come in, but a tire and rim separately, then take the parts from the parts counter to the service counter for mounting service for an additional charge. WTF?! The end result would have been an easy $50 more, plus that mounting would be another two hours which means I would have to leave work a few times to make this all work. I called this morning to make sure the had the tire do I could use my lunch break to get it, and they said the one they had for me went to someone else, but another would be in tomorrow. I received a call late this afternoon stating the tire was in, so I stopped in after work only to be told it was going to be $40 more than what I was told on last Friday. Oh, and this is after paying for the whole thing in advance. I got my money back, and ordered it on Amazon for a lot less. I might go back if I really something, but only if I really need it.
I purchased a B3350 in June 2019 and that process went fairly smooth. I do not like the DPF filter after a year of use and would recommend the B2650 instead. My tractor would not regen the DPF filter and I had to take it in for service. Kubota had a design flaw on the B3350 that they fixed with a new engine under warranty, luckily. Im very happy that I didnt need to spend a dime to fix the issue but the emissions is still annoying. My biggest gripe with M&R is that they didnt keep me informed of the progress over 7 weeks. They called me once to ask for an extra hour of diagnostic the first week and never called again until it was ready. I had to call to find out they were pursuing the warranty then to find out it needed a new engine, while not knowing if it will be covered under warranty.
Mko
The only people that would tell me other options and not just here to sell you as much as they can. thanks
Great sales department. Easy to understand my needs and got me set up. Will always go back for any other needs I may have.
Seems the last review got erased. will keep it short.Sales good. Rental great. But what good is all of that with a horrible service dept. No knowledge cant get a good service manager. Argue about warranty. Always has. a5 week turnaround for warranty and its a twenty minute hose change. Absolutely silly. Cant wait to get the response of how they want to make it better. Answer is change your service dept. Shame that we are forced to buy from others because of this.
Went to M&R in Butler to see about a new zero turn mower. Logan Thomas, my salesman, was incredibly informative and very nice. Ive never owned a zero turn mower let alone operated one. Turned out he sold us the perfect machine for our yard at a great price. Great people, great experience
Stopped in today to look at stihl chainsaws, and Logan was quick to come over and assist me. Talked to me about his saws and helped me in picking one that was going to suite my needs. When he was getting my saw ready other employees also asked if I needed any assistance. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back for other needs.
Last November I went back and forth with the service department for 2 months before finally getting the service manager involved to get things moving. Then they would not repair the loader issue and told me it was assembled incorrectly at the dealer where it was purchased. There seems to be some sort of turf war between these Kubota dealers. When they finally returned the unit they showed up outside of the specified window and I had to leave work to meet them. There was rust in several areas that was not present before they picked it up. Now the issue has resurfaced and I am out of warranty by a month.
Very knowledgeable, mower works, handles, and cuts better than I can ever remember. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Thank you Ralph!
Easy to work with helpful salesman informative honest highly recommend M&R butler just ask for Nick!
Awesome folks, knowledgeable and fair. Ask for Nick in sales. He’ll hook you up.
Had a fantastic and smooth experience at M&R Power Equip- the small details def matter- decided to make a last minute COVID purchase of a Kubota BX series to allow multiple home projects to get completed. Showed up unannounced to M&R in Butler on a Monday morning, met salesman Sean who was knowledgeable, not annoying, and also not pushy, and gave me honest answers (instead of doing what many do, and just tell you exactly what you want to hear so they get a commision).I was at first disappointed, as the BX23S that I decided on would not be available for 12-14 days as it had to come from Ohio. That wouldnt work for me, as I needed to get started ASAP. But I also did not want to go hunting All over western PA for a used Kubota. Hearing my disappointment, Sean made moves to outfit another BX23S so it would fit my needs, and Thursday morning (less than 72 hours later) I had my brand new tractor at the homestead and was playing in the dirt. Sean had also spoken to their GM about my situation and he had additionally offered a steeply discounted rental on a similar tractor (if I would have had to wait the 12-14 days). As a physician, I take organization, efficiency, competence, communication, and time management seriously, as I don’t have the flexibility to screw around wasting time. Sean and M&R Power Equip have earned my business for life. If you’re looking to buy some heavy machinery, its where you want to go.
Sean and the Staff at M&R Equipment are knowledgeable, professional, and willing to help get you into the equipment you are need of or just want. Would highly recommend.
Sean was very helpful. Price was fair for the equipment we purchased Assembly was done in a timely manor. Followed up with us and answered all questions we could have had. We will be back for more attachments!
Purchased a brand new 2019 Kubota B3350 tractor from M&R Power Equipment in Butler, PA. Ran the tractor for approximate 1 hour cutting my grass field. Heard a loud clunk and the mower stopped immediately. I looked at the mower deck and saw a piece of metal hanging down. Called M&R and I was told they were sending a truck to pick it up. It sat in their shop for NEARLY 2 months. I received a call from the service manager saying it wasn’t under warranty. We inspected the mower prior to them picking it up and noticed that a weld was missing from the factory. We assumed that M&R would see the same and take care of the problem immediately.. instead the made me wait for two months then blamed it on me. A $35,000 brand new tractor..missing a weld from factory and they blamed me. I’ve owned my own welding and fabrication shop for 40 years..I did my best to be patient and explain it to M&R power equipment..but they don’t even understand the equipment the sell. They do not care about their customers. They would rather push blame onto someone else instead of taking care of the warranty. Do not buy from them..find a local dealer that puts you first...M &R power equipment is a terrible company with even worse customer service! Check out the reviews before you buy..you have been warned.
Purchased a Kubota Z251KH-54 zero turn mower during the Covid pandemic shutdown.Sean handled the transaction very diligently and professionally completely online and on the phone. Great deal, great machine and even got it delivered ahead of schedule. Thanks Sean, I look forward to doing more business with you in the future!
Not real busy. Many guys just sitting at desks, no one willing to make sales I guess. Not a can I help you find anything, or have any questions.. Must not work for commission, lost a big sale.
We went to M & R looking to purchase a new zero turn lawn mower. We met with Sean. He gave us information on all the options available. No high pressure sales which we appreciated. We were able to make an informed decision and have our new mower delivered in a timely fashion.
The sales guys did a pretty good job. Everyone there neglected to tell me on the Z-Force S larger decks you can’t change the blades on your own. The deck is too large to slide out from underneath due to the wheel base not being wide enough. Towards the end of last summer I took my mulching blades in to be changed because I singed them up and I wasn’t happy with the cut. I noticed on consecutive cuts that there were strips of grass not getting cut. I played closer attention the 3rd cut and also notice standing grass where I zero turned a few times as well. I was fairly convinced it was the blades. It actually seemed to be getting worse. I called in and was told i waited too long and they couldn’t help but I could pay to have them look at it. That’s it. No questions about the issue, only nope you waited too long.I’ll let you know if I ever hear back from anyone after this review to let you know if they attempt to correct their initial suspect customer service.
We have purchased numerous pieces of equipment from the butler location. All staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Sean is overly helpful and never pressured for the sales.
Very unprofessional experience with this company!
Great people, great service, great pricing. I try to do all my business with them. Ask for Nick Mainhart, great consultant there!
We had a wonderful experience with Sean! Because of the Covid 19, we didn’t go in to the store. He got everything ready for us, gave us a great price, and went over everything on FaceTime! We’ll be buying all of our future Stihl and Kubota products from them!
Great service. Had to order parts for my mower. Process was smooth and efficient. Very friendly. Highly recommend if you need parts.
If you want to pull your hair out, then go ahead an buy something at m&r. They dont keep enough simple stock items for what they sell so call before you drive there. The service manager does not run the service department so do not make any plans based on what he tells you about when something will be done. The mechanics are in charge of when stuff gets done. I sent my wife to m&r Hermitage to get a specific part for a john Deere mower, she had the broken part with her, they told her that it was the wrong part and gave her another part to bring home to me. Guess what I had to do? I had to make another trip up to get the right part. This dysfunction I describe here is at both m&r locations. My advice to someone is buy somewhere else.
Talked to Nick about buying a subcompact Kobota tractor. He was great in explaining his product but not pushy. He guided me to the tractor that suited my needs. Would recommend to a friend.
Took them five days to look at my machine. I had to call them to find out what was going on. I was told it would be 3-5 days to get the parts in. Five days after that deadline I still had not heard anything from them. I called again to find out what was going on...parts were on back order. Seriously? No phone call, no nothing. Ferris evidently had a run on voltage regulators. When I asked why I had heard nothing...We have about 300 machines here to repair. So, evidently they are too busy...take your machine elsewhere.
Ive been buying here for quite a while (stihl, ferris, kubota parts, etc.) so I figured I would take some time to share my experiences.Sales - Simple, easy, straight forward, friendly. Ive mostly dealt with Sean, but every time Im in, the other sales folks are more than welcoming and willing to assist.Parts - Again simple, easy and straight forward. Pricing is competitive (if not cheaper in some items). Knowledgeable staff and willing to assist with what you need.Service - Ive used the service dept. multiple times (mostly for my mower) and I get varying levels of service. The most recent visit, was for an erratic idle in my mower. Dropped mower off, they said they will check everything out and since its under warranty I didnt worry, until I was almost out the door, I was told oh by the way, its $XX an hour diagnostic fee if not covered by warranty. This unfortunately leaves me in a place, where I have no choice, in order to repair under warranty they need to perform diagnostics, otherwise its money out of my pocket, when I can fix it myself. In the end, the repair was under warranty. The mower was to be complete on a Friday (no call), so I reached out the following Wednesday and ended up picking it up that same day. I received a call that the mower done two days after I picked it up. In addition when I picked it up they brought it out to me, it looked like it had been cleaned, except the tech that brought it out drove through a mud puddle and splashed mud everywhere. They handed me the keys, not even offering to spray it off. They charge extra if you bring it to them dirty, so can I charge them for returning it to me dirty? About a week after that, I received a call if I could get the hours off the mower, apparently they didnt get them when they had it. My overall view of the service dept is the quality and level of communication is very poor. Advice to management is to not only improve on levels of communication, but how folks communicate. In addition, it seems processes are lacking which can really pull down the view of the business.
Went shopping for a Ferris IS3200Z for a new property. Called M&R, as they were the closest Ferris dealer to my home address. After receiving a quote, I did my due diligence and called a handful of other Ferris dealers and no one could match their pricing. At the same time, Logan (my sales person) was extremely knowledgable and professional, was not pushy at all and allowed me to take my time to make an informative decision. I would highly suggest purchasing from this dealer and plan on doing so, for future purchases. Being biased, please ask for Logan - he is extremely intelligent, when it comes to this equipment, and will guide you in the right direction.
Very friendly and helpful. They new just what i needed.
Sean worked with me to get what I needed. I went through about four options and think I got what I needed.
Friendly people and Great service!
Very good ..very helpful would buy from them again
Not very good business practices - not good communication. It takes several calls to get a call back.
Service dept is horrible here. They had my mower for about a month before getting it back to me. Although the girl who works the desk is very nice, not her fault it takes a month to fix anything. I would never buy another mower here or recommend this place.
Im a small business owner and every minute and every dollar counts. I started taking my equipment to M&R when I couldnt diagnose a specific problem. The service I get from the sales, parts, and service departments has been better than anything I have had from any other equipment dealer. The service department went above and beyond last week to get my parts covered under warranty when the previous dealer I used charged me for a $200 part that wasnt even the cause of all the issues I had in the first place. They tested each component of my salt spreader and determined that it was the controller that had gone bad under warranty. I cant say thankyou enough to these guys for taking the time and being so thorough and saving me a thousand dollars.
I asked them to service a 12yo tractor they did not sell and the busiest part of the spring. While there were minor bumps and delays, they communicated exactly what has happening and why. And the completed work was excellent. I have found the dealer for my next tractor purchase.
They had good prices on parts when I needed them, so I decided to take my mower in for service. I was quoted at a price that included a warranty fix on my exhaust. They later tried to charge me $400 and decided it was not covered. Never had a company backout on a quoted price before. My tire was up and fine, but returned in the pictured ruined condition. Again, never had a place ruin a part, then try to charge to fix it. They wanted $70 to put in a tube they broke and then returned it flat off the rim when I didnt pay. It cost me $20 to have the local tire shop fix it. A new on the rim tire is $50, so no clue what world they live in.You can see the dent in another picture that was not there prior to leaving my house. Also, after waiting 3 weeks for a promised return date, they ordered the wrong part and I had to wait 4 extra days.My belt popped off after 4 minutes of mowing. It broke after 20 minutes. Put on my brand new replacement belt. It lasted 30 more minutes. Mower returned worse than it left. I cannot afford to put on 2 belts an hour, so now I am left fixing it myself or paying someone else to fix the damage.Parts are fair priced. People are polite. Yet, I would never deal with this kind of incompetence again. For $84 an hour labor $680 total cost and 4 weeks wait, I would expect a working mower returned.I could basically have a good chunk the cost of a new mower had I not dealt with them. Dont make the same mistake.Update: I called the number. Was told I would hear back in a day or two. Was told something would be done to make things right. It has been about two weeks and no contact at all. Also, my mower is again stalled and unable to start in my yard. I have spent more time fixing my fixed mower than before I took it in. Replaced entire wheel. Idle pivot was so loose it fell off. Deck had so much grease it clogged my pulleys from turning, so turn apart and wiped it out good. The idle bar bolt snapped from being too loose, so replaced it.
They had the saw I needed, at the right price, at the right time, with the right size bar. Other dealerships did not have the saw, and a different STIHL dealer told me I could not do what another dealer had readily available. They were able to help with the logistics of the saw purchase, as I had to use them instead of a closer dealership. M&R. Remember that. I was prepared to drive past 5 other dealerships for this saw in the timeframe i required, but they saved me that, and allowed me to just use my normal Stihl dealer.
Wasnt ever here so I assume its good
They can never fix a problem and it stay fixed. I have to make a dozen trips a year for the same stuff
Bought new tractor hydraulics started leaking took back on October 5 an was told no parts on shelf. The parts would be in by the 15th they called on the 19th an said we see your tractor is under warranty we will order the parts. I flipped then was asked to bring it in an i said we agreed to have it picked up they said ok Tuesday at 10:30 am we will be there i stayed up till 11:30 cause i work nights got a call at 11:35 saying they are just leaving the shop not a happy person sales men is nice but service guy doing the ordering of parts sucks at his job
I purchased a leaf blower for my wife. The salesperson was knowledgeable about the products and recommended the one I purchased.
Let me start by saying I edited this review after several interactions. By nature of my profession I deal with alot of customers every day in a fairly technical field. We live and die by our reviews and repeat business. I dont rely on just the good or bad reviews when I read them, I try to read between the lines and reach my own conclusions and see if they fit into my expectations .Lets start with good. Everyone I have dealt with at the dealership was very nice. They were professional and knowledgeable. Sales was low pressure and seemed that they truly wanted help you get what you wanted. After pricing my equipment at several dealers I went with them even though they werent the cheapest, but they were very close and the next best deal wouldhave been logistically be more difficult for me. I will also say that I have been a kubota owner for almost 20 years and that is the main reason my new machine is a kubota. (Still have and use the 1984 machine). I will also say the machine with options and accessories I purchased cost more than alot of the new cars on the market today. So with all that said, on to the not so great. My biggest issue is the lack of communication. I have never gotten an answer to a question when I call, Im always told I will find out and call you back......you wont get a call back, sorry to say....you will call back and or have to go to the dealership. In my experience this is the case with both sales and service. There doesnt seem to be anything you can do to create a sense of urgency. In all fairness seems to be an industry issue not just this dealership. I understand things happen, outside vendors, shipping companies ect....I deal with it every day, but I can honestly say my customers are always I the loop whether it be good news or bad, I owe that too them, its my job and its their money. I can also say this latest round of I know it was to be here last week but its not well let you know when gets here. This is not going to be something I let go, as now i will be losing money having to credit my customer at the last minute because that yhey cant communicate that they cant deliver the equipment I paid extra to have expedited a month ago to avoid this situation. Live and learn I suppose. I hope somebody finds this helpful.
Friendly staff.
BEWARE!!! this dealership is a joke. Took days to get a direct answer from them. Sales staff is unprofessional and doesnt follow up and return calls
Pleasure dealing with polite, knowledgeable people and fair pricing. Highly recommend
Waited a month (after several calls there) to get my tractor serviced and a trade in quote from Sales Dept on a new Kubota. Then was told my agreed upon service price was of course going to be more expensive. Not out of county friendly at all. NO LONGER A CUSTOMER AFTER MORE THAN A DECADE. A REAL SHAME.
Parts guy with the goatee went above and beyond to help me. Great service.
They are very customer oriented and work hard at pleasing the customer. I have been dealing with them for several years now and have not had any problems with them
This place needs better employees. ..they ran my battery dead then loaded it on my wagon with a forklift, left the key on.they took 2wks to get my part.never take my zero turn there again...
They were busy but helpful, and had a pretty large selection.
