BEST TOY STORE EVER!!!! Not only is the building shaped like a space ship or some kind of flying craft. THEY ENCOURAGE PLAY WHILE IN THE STORE. The employees are super friendly. Prices arent necessarily the best, but I feel the mark up is the cost of the experience of shopping there.

I can not say enough good things about this place. Its seriously a treasure! The staff is very friendly and fun. We always have a blast in there. So many toys at great prices! Also supporting a family owned business is always a great thing to do!

This store is amazing! Staff is so knowledgeable and very friendly. My kids love this store because there are toys that are used for demos. Quality toys and lots of educational items as well as hobby items. I highly encourage parents to check it out for all ages. I had fun testing the scooter i bought my kids inside the store. They have a test area in parking lot for some toys also.

Camping in the area for a week and had to repair some RC trucks we broke while playing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Broke it trying to fix it and took the whole family back to get more expert help. Kids all found games for rainy weather days and enjoyed exploring all their various board games and learning games. Our kids ranging from 8-12 yr old loved it. Had so much out of the box to tinker with at their store too. Great little find if you’re ever in the area. Plus it is a spaceship so that was a bonus for the kids LOL

The people there are always friendly and helpful without making you feel obligated to buy something. That being said youre probably not going to leave without buying something because they have so many cool things to do for just about any age! Would definitely recommend would give 10 out of 10 Stars if I could they are always just super nice and we always look forward to stopping to visit when we are up that way!

An absolutely awesome toy store/ hobby store. They had an RC car that wasnt available anywhere else. The staff is amazing, and the building is unique and draws you in immediately.

What a fun place e. I was from out of town and the unique shape of the building had me intrigued. I went in and was even more so. Tiys hanging from the ceiling, so many toys and games all over. Even the bathroom is interesting. Went home with a handful of goodies.

The building was awesome. The toys were not very unique but a great selection. Prices were comparable!

In a remote location just outside of Pittsburgh. It will bring out the kid in you and the kids with you will love it! I recommend establishing a budget before you walk in the front door otherwise just hand over your wallet :-)

Greatest store ever! We went there to grab a couple discs for disc golf but I ended up spending over $100 and Im not mad cause Im gonna give my nephews their favorite gifts at their birthday party! Everything you need to have fun, you will find it here!

The name says it all. Drawing supplies to RC cars to disc golf discs. This place seems to have something for everyone. Great stuff for kids. Great stuffed animal collection. Great puzzle selection. Has a wide variety of board / card games. If you have never been it is definently worth a trip. The building in itself is something to see.

One of a kind toy store! This place made me feel like a kid again, staff was super friendly, and encouraged playing with anything that caught your eye. Not for a serious collector (i.e. action figures, etc.)just real honest toys and a lot of imagination. Go there and get lost... I did.Only wish it was a little closer to Pittsburgh

They bill this as the greatest toy store in the world. I havent been to every toy store in the world, but its the greatest one Ive been to. They have lots of display items that you can play with. I saw a young couple there on a date. It seemed like a great date idea.

Playthings Etc. is AMAZING!!!! The selection is perfect, they have something for every kind of child! They had fidgets, puzzles, games, sets, etc.!!! The prices are also very fair!! Ive spent double for the same products at other places!! I would recommend a stop in for sure, and take the family, the staff is so friendly, the whole place is INCREDIBLE!!! 😊

Amazing and unique toy store. Such a cool experience, just walking up to the uniquely designed building gets you ready for whats inside.The staff was great, they greeted us at the door, gave us some background on the store and made sure to tell us to play with and try the toys, and not many places would tell you to do that. They have a lot of different things, as well as toys and items you wont find at other stores. Our son loved it as did we. Family owned and Well worth the drive.

The store itself may be decent but they fail to follow mask mandates. My wife is immune suppressed so businesses following guidlines is more than just important. We were at the store today and not only were most customers not wearing masks, several of the employees were also not wearing them. The kicker was the lady with no mask hacking all over the place. And not a single sign saying masks are required! We have 11 grandchildren between us and would likely have been spending thousands at this store. As it is now, we wont be going back. Hope they realize how much trouble they can get into by not having employees wearing masks in PA!!

Great toy and hobby store: Small size kid toys like classic Shylling metal toys, Mellisa and Doug wooden toys, my little ponies, small dolls and houses, fun noise making toys, bath tub toys, yoyos, a ton of novelty toys, and Medium size kid toys like Rubiks cube, puzzles, toy instruments, magnet stones, dinosaurs, kites, a ton of science kits, telescopes, toy cars, legos, toy guns, model rockets, air rockets, throw rockets, gliders, toy bows, toy crossbows, pogo sticks, and Bigger size kid toys like drones, radio controlled cars, chess pieces. Its worth a visit especially if you need ideas for gifts!

Amazing selection of toys, best around. Terrific staff and atmosphere.Employees are masked, but customers walk around maskless (about 50-60%). Definitely a huge disappointment not to see a mask policy on the door or even an attempt at enforcing one.Personally, I will not return until a policy is enforced or until after the pandemic.

Went to this store in search of a birthday gift for my 8 year old daughter. I was greeted warmly and advised of how the store was roughly categorized shortly after they opened. After viewing the extensive selection I decided to buy several products. This is a very unique shop. The structure itself is enough to get your attention. Inside is just about every kind of toy imaginable. From modern stuff like Lego and board games and RC cars to recreations of toys from decades past.

The store itself is wonderful! There is a great selection of toys, games, gifts, etc. My biggest complaint is that no one is required to wear a mask. The employees greeted us without masks, and clientele, probably half of them wore one. We left pretty much immediately.

Took my 3 year old foster so there for the first time and he was so very excited I bought him a dinosaur and a slinky and watched him ride a scooter for the first time

I have recommended this store for years to many people. I am sure this is true for almost anyone who has ever been to this establishment. However, after going there today to be greeted with Face masks not required and their staff without masks, I will never shop at or recommend this store again. I am sure they are still good people. They still have a great selection and friendly staff but this is such a simple and legally mandated step to help ALL of us stay healthy they are willfully ignoring, my tiny bit of business will go elsewhere moving forward. We all cover our sneezes and coughs when we are indoors. We dont smoke cigarettes indoors. We wear seatbelts. We all engage in various very small safety and health measures and never think twice. Its common courtesy. Its golden rule type of behavior. If wearing a mask in public for a year saves 1 life in our little community, why wouldnt we all do that?

They have a very poor selection.Even though it’s just before Christmas, they’re selection is very limited. We literally found nothing for our grandsons ages 6 and 8 . A person can walk the entire store and see everything they have in 10 minutes

Lots of interesting toys for all ages. Provides a much broader selection than the big box stores pertaining to toys. Most toys are out and able to be played with by the kids or trialed by adults. Decent RC selection as well.

The best toy store around. They have all sorts of unique toys at reasonable prices. The workers there demonstrate the toys and there is almost no toy you can not try out. From old classics like pogo sticks to the newest coolest toys, this store has it all. Kids of all ages will love to come and play. Dont expect to walk out without buying anything. A must go if you havent been there previously
