Everyone is very nice. Very informative. Dr. McGrath is awesome. Been going to them for years.

My insurance with my employer is Davis Vision which gives a 3 tier price for frames with some being free and not over $50. The last 2 times I went there as soon as the person I pick out glasses with finds out my insurance, her attitude changes like I am a low life or something. She just laid out the trays the glasses were in and said here they are. I asked a question about what I saw on line and she said I don’t know, this is all they give us. She only showed me the premium tier that cost the most. I thought I was imagining the attitude when I was there 2 years ago but when I went 2 weeks ago and had a different person than last time I received the same attitude. It is very uncomfortable. She also did the add ons and I don’t even know what I paid for without a copy of the invoice. Possible free glasses cost me $155.00. Not everyone has hundreds of dollars to spend on glasses. I feel I should use the insurance I pay for. The doctor was great.

I called for an appointment and there was a cancellation so I got in very quickly. Everyone was very professional and very kind. My eye doctor was excellent explaining everything as she went along and the eye exam was very thorough. Finally I was given time to decide on a pair of glasses which I did very pleased with my overall experience.

Butler eye Care has the most friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff! Dr. Koza took her time with me and so did Marilyn helping me with choosing glasses. I felt very comfortable speaking with all of the staff! I cannot wait to pick up my glasses!

When I experienced potentially serious symptoms with my vision, they went the extra mile to get me in to see a doctor on an emergency basis. After extensive testing, I was given a diagnosis, and they contacted a specialist and set up an appointment for me. This is the kind of customer care thats becoming more and more rare in todays world. Im grateful for the concern and care Butler Eye Care offers.

So disappointed! Ive heard people have had great experiences in the past at Butler Eye Care but thats just not the case anymore. I ordered glasses last year and my experience was fine. A couple months ago I called to order warranty lenses and was put on hold for 45 minutes before someone finally answered my call by accident then put me back on hold. When I finally got my lenses ordered, it took them a couple weeks to come in...... but my prescription was blatantly wrong. The optician argued with me and told me it was my prescription but after I argued and she checked them, she told me they needed reordered. The second time I went back to get them, the prescription was correct but the lenses were scratched before I even got them. They let me take my glasses while waiting for the other lenses but the adjustment was so wrong I had to do redo it myself.... They were reordered. The THIRD TIME I went to pick up my lenses, the optician handed me my glasses and the lenses fell out before I even got them on my face. They finally got them in my frame but it has been a fiasco from the start. Thoroughly unimpressed with my recent experience at Butler Eye Care 2.0.

I am so pleased with the care I received at Butler Eye Care!! My most recent issue was pain and a scratchy feeling in my eye, I called first thing in the morning and was able to get an appointment that day. Dr McGrath listened to my concerns and was able to prescribe eye drops for the discomfort. I love how accommodating the office is for working parents and willing to squeeze in emergency appointments when needed. If looking for an optometrist in Butler I highly recommend Butler Eye Care.

My eye doctor, Michael McGrath, is fantastic. Im giving 4 stars mainly because of him. They dont have an adequate selection of frames, and the staff are only so-so . . . some are more amiable and helpful than others.

Dr Cozza is excellent. Veryyy Friendly staff. Megan McGarvey is very good at her job. Marilynn took her time to help me get the perfect frames. 100% satisfied!

I must say I was a skeptic that Butler Eye care would find out what was wrong with my eye because I have been to 5 Dr.s that had no idea. I was impressed with the high tech equipment Butler Eye Care had that other eye Dr.s offices were clearly lacking. Needless to say Dr. Mike actually told me what was wrong with my eye relieving my stress level completely. The office personnel were very professional and their office building was state of the art. The selection of frames were the best brands as well. I would definitely recommend Butler Eye Care because they actually care about their patients. I will return! 😀

CELEBRITY TREATMENT! The staff is top of the line at this optometrist center. They make you feel so special from start to finish. First off, this was my very first visit and Dr. Jen McGrath fit me in just 2 days after I contacted their page on Facebook. 2 days! Most eye centers take a month. Kristen, the pre-tester, was amazing. She treated you as if you were her best friend. She was also so nice in making sure I was comfy in my chair. Dr. Cozza, the one who examined my eyes, was so down to earth. She answered all my questions with excitement and patience as well. Last but not least, Marilynn, the open-hearted optician and her (fabulous) glittery glasses. She gave me excellent tips and tricks on how to care for my eyes. Ready to leave, she walked me to the exit door and even held it open for me! This team really makes you feel special. I will definitely keep coming back.

Had an emergency situation with my husbands right eye, Butler Eye Care responded immediately by squeezing us in to be treated.

Please be aware that after tou pick out tour glasses they add a bunch of extras to your lenses without even asking they just give you a total at the end which happened to me once before with my sons glasses that the total was a couple hundred dollars soni said at that point nope take the extras off which the women did bringing my outta pocket price to $60. So this last time same thing she added a buch of extras making my outta pocket price 202 for kids glasses soni said nope take all the extras off and this time the women was so rude saying she couldnt take anything off...so i said well give me the scriot ....so i took the acriot right to walmart where the man was so nice and helpful and ended up giving me the same exact tlasses and lenses with $40 being theb ok utta pocket price....so dont be tricked into paying an insane amount!!!

I have been a patient with dr mcgrath and his wife and loved their office for about 10 years.Ever since the office got moved, I will not be going back. There is way too much confusion, all new people working there. They would not give me sample contacts to hold me over until my new contacts came in. I have very poor vision and I explained I was going on vacation and needed a sample contacts until I got back bc the new order wouldn’t be in before I left. (This was never an issue in my ten years at the old office!) They didn’t care. Unfortunately I will be going elsewhere.

This was my first time visiting Butler Eye Care. Dr Michael McGrath was extremely professional and answered all my questions thoroughly. Pam, the optician/optical assistant, was professional and excellent as well and spent a tremendous amount of time assisting me in picking out the frames and recommending products. I valued both of these individuals time and experience that was afforded to me. I highly recommend this business.

Friendly and professional group. Got me in on short notice.About 18 months later, the new office right up the street is very nice. It appears to be kept clean & neat. I opted for a $29 extended testing for which I personally got no results. You still need to wear a mask here. Doctor and staff were kind and professional. In my case the doctor indicated that there is room for a slight correction, but wouldnt be concerned at this point due to frequent drug changes for other issues.. I would recommend this eye care office to anyone.

This has been my eye doctors office for almost years 10 and I cant say enough positive things about everyone. Easy to get appointments, phone answered by humans is appreciated, great staff to help with eye glass selections! Doctors are patient, thorough, attentive to concerns and care about their patients.

Dr.Michael is the best optometrist in this area. Along with is wife Dr.Jennifer, they are quite the team. They spend time with you and explain everything in detail. When you leave their office, you feel like you just met a new friend. The staff is so welcoming from the front desk to check out. If you ever have a problem, they work with you til it’s solved. I had got something stuck in my eye (thought it was just an eyelash) the night before, used some eye drops to flush it out and still I felt it, the next morning I woke up to a feeling of what I imagine sandpaper to the eyeball would feel like, everytime I blinked, while not very painful, it was highly annoying more than anything, called around to get in to an eye doctor, not only did they get me in, but it was within the same hour I called to schedule an appt! Amazingly fast (even in the waiting room, I sat MAYBE 3min!), good, and not even a follow-up just to get extra insurance money, bc it was unnecessary! Antibiotics to make sure no infection, whatever it was, came out on its own but left a little scratch before it departed, I highly reccomend Butler Eye Care LLC!

I found out that you no longer take my insurance Gateway so now I am upset and have to find another dr yet again.
