I was an avid gamer for many years and Gamestop was definitely my go to resource for video games. However, as I matured, I realized that their offers for used merchandise is an absolute joke and they should be ashamed of themselves. Thankfully everything is digital nowadays and I can avoid the store completely.

The tall gentlemen (who I assume is the owner) is the sweetest man. He is always there to greet me and assist me as soon as I step foot thru the door. His knowledge of gaming & gaming accessories is amazing!

We ordered a Switch online to be picked up at this specific store because they had like 4 or 5 in stock we drove an hour to the store to be told they dont have any they sold them all. The staff wasnt helpful and wouldnt even look at other stores to see if they were in stock elsewhere. We called New Castle and ended up getting 1 there.

We had a really nice lady check us out. She was quick, she knew the answers to our questions, and was very helpful in our purchases.

Was told by one employee that I would be given a certain value for a cell phone and when I returned a different employee who was snide rude and downright unpleasant told me they wouldnt take my phone and if they did it would have been a fraction of the original employees appraisal. The representative I dealt with was extremely impersonal unproffesional and his demeanor will most definately cause me to look elsewhere for my gaming needs of which I am an avid gamer and this is not the first time Ive had a similar issue with this location.

They Sold me a pre-owned Xbox One X that didnt eject after the first new game I put in. Good to know they refurbish the console before selling them.

The service at this location is decent. The inventory never seems to be that great though, and I dont often find what I am looking for. I have a problem with the prices they charge for games that were traded. They make massive profits from traded items and their offers are not very fair.

Very nice place. I bought several items here including Pokemon sleep pants. They were on the clearance box. The prices arent to high. Its all in a reasonable price range. Now i must say. If you frequently stop by this place then i recommend the gamestop rewards card. Its a card that saves you money on pre-used items in the store. Also their is a one year subscription to the Game Informer Magazine.

Seems like the manager is always in a bad mood here. I have had several bad customer service experiences here. I suggest going to the Clearview Mall store. They are very friendly there and much more helpful.

Did NOT have a great experience. Was asked, as is protocol, if I needed help...to which I said no. My lady friend who accompanied me began to feel uncomfortable when the young man again and again asked us if we needed help.Now, my friend isnt a gamer...she doesnt really know how Gamestop works, that employees get commissions for selling used games. Thats why I thought the kid was being so persistant...my friend said she felt as if they thought we were going to steal something, even though at game stop the games are behind the counter, not in the cases. Add to that that my friend is a virtual saint, with not even a parking ticket on her record. So when she expressed this to me, I saw what she meant...and whether the kid was just trying to get a commission or if he was really playing at being loss prevention, I dont know.Either way...I dont like Ganestop, I never have. But after tonight I will stick with Amazon and Ebay.

So they had what I was looking for cool and all, however the staff was very unfriendly seemed very unhappy to be there and unenthusiastic to be help any customers out.

My problem is not with the employees. My problem is with the company. GameStops used stuff is a giant rip-off and I would rather avoid their stores. But I have clients that like to visit, so Im forced to step foot inside. Youd be further ahead selling your used gaming stuff on Amazon or eBay.

Its a Gamestop, one with a nice selection of new and used titles. My good experiences ended there. Im used to Gamestop being a place where you can go and talk to a knowledgeable staff to find out any information about video games that you could ever want to know. In my previous experiences at other Gamestop locations the employees have all been helpful and if they dont know about a game or something the customer is asking then one of their co-workers usually does.This was not one of those pleasant experiences. The employees here either act like they know what youre asking about, or they rely on their computer or tablet. This actually happened when I asked them if other customers were enjoying a new title or not. The gentleman typed it into his tablet and proceeded to tell me it was in stock. Another time I was given misinformation that lead to me purchasing the wrong version of a game. When asked if there was any additional content they told me that the only extras in the Far Cry gold and deluxe editions were skins, the season pass, and a steelbook..When in fact they came with a ton of additional in-game content ranging from all the guns and vehicles you could need, to actually coming with additional game play included in with that season pass. This was the response they (plural) gave to a customer specifically asking about a game they had posters for all over their store for at least the previous 2-3 months. Another time when asking about some PlayStation VR titles they gave me misinformation, including telling a relative of mine that one of the games she was asking about was a movie and not a game. Its actually a game inspired by the movie, which is why she was specifically asking for it.Im not sure if Ive ever had a single good experience here. The staff seem annoyed that customers exist at all. Thank goodness theres another Gamestop across town in the mall where the staff actually try to help the customers and make the attempt to know about the products theyre selling.Im still giving this 3 stars because of the franchise and the good selection. If you know exactly what youre looking for and dont have any questions then I suggest just keeping your head down and not letting the staff here ruin the store for you.

They will buy your used games, excellent used games for a dollar rip you off.then turn around and sell the same game for 12 dollars or more.They do sell older games though so there not all bad.Also sell refurbish game systems, xbox 360, ps3 .etc

Recently went to trade in an old phone for a promotion they had going on for 50% more trade in value for devices. Took a dead phone In and was told it had to be at least 50% charged, which was cool. He asked me my carrier and said with that specific phone I should get 35-40 dollars for it (its an old iPhone). I took the phone back fully charged and was told by the same guy that they dont take the specific model that I had, after telling me otherwise a few days prior. If I wanted to hear different stories Everytime I walked into a store, is go to Verizon. Cancelled my pre orders, pretty much done with GameStop as a whole. Its not the salespeoples fault, but having deals and offers shoved in your face Everytime you go in is a bad sales tactic.

I bought a pre own game from here and once I got home I found out that it was all scratched up and never really cleaned which is horrible handling and then while I was at the store the guy said that upgrading to the pro card would only be $7 and some change but it was actually $15 And the rest is made up in card points so it was very misleading.

It pains main to give this place One star but I recently went there looking to buy myself and xbox and I had decided on 1 of their consuls and attended to ask several different questions to do a knowledge check with the cells row and it was 1 of the most uncomfortable conversations I had ever had and I hope that soon they do something about this because a lot of customers of also agreed that that store specifically makes them uncomfortable
