Even though he was busy the guy was able to help. Cheap phones and phone plans. Good coverage. Convenient spot if you live downtown. Parking usually isnt a problem. Nice hours. The manager is helpful. Would recommend!

The gentleman running this shop is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the phones he sells and Metro PCS plans.He spends the time to try get you the best phone on the right plan for you. No pushy sales tactics, just a straight forward explanation of what deals he can get you depending on what phone or phones you need on various plans.Ive been to a few Metro dealers in the region and the Butler, PA store is the best yet. Ill be returning to this store again in the future.

So far the service, price and customer service via phone or chat with Metro by T-Mobile has been fantastic! Cheaper phones but you get what you pay for. As for this store and the Sales Rep, he should be fired and I will never go back in again. Hopeful Metro addresses the issues with training focusing on accountability, integrity, and professionalism otherwise people like the Sales Rep will further tarnish the company. I switched from straight talk to Metro today and I got a Motorola e5 plus with unlimited plan, case and glass protector in just 130$. Yayyyy. I love it. Great customer service and awesome deals.

I have gone to this location twice now have gotten nowhere. They refuse to honor corporate promos or prices. Tried to charge me $400 for A $100 plan. When I turned to leave he lowered the price to $240. If you value integrity and honesty in companies you do business with, then stay away from this location.

Workers there are crooks, they will try too scam you any way possible. They won’t tell you about all the extra fees on bills until after you sign up. My mom & I got the same exact phone & plan on two different phones a few day apart & the worker charged us different prices...my guess is he’s over charging & pocketing the difference, then the worker had no idea how too set up my new phone & messed it all up....took me hours too fix it myself at home. Then he messed up putting on the tempered glass screen cover there’s air bubbles all over the screen & he refused too fix it. Horrible service...signal bar is all over the place jumping around constantly, places I got service with straight talk I don’t get service with metro.

I have my phone through here and I really LOVE the service but my phone is so horrible that I want to drop my service altogether cuz they told me Id be able to get deals on new phones and not have to pay upgrade activation fees on new phones as long as I kept mine for more than 90 days. When I went in to look at phones near the end of the 9o days and after the 90 day time frame it was still the same price for the phone I want! Plus I know it must sound terrible for me to say this. When I speak to someone who deals with a lot of people and I cant understand what is being said to be able to make a truly informed decision. I dont want to end up with another phone I hate!

I switched from a different service provider to Metro and it was one of the best decision . I got 240 $ phone for free and unlimited plan with hot spot, google 1 and amazon prime. The Sales Rep was awesome. He knew his job not only he helped me setting up my face book, instagram and gmail account but also helped me switching all my data from my old phone. Thats a wonderful place for best deals in town.

This is the worst metro store I have ever been to. dont go to this store they are crooks.We signed up for four lines to get the promotion of 4 new phones. This guy wouldnt let us have the phones we wanted and he made us pick all different phones. One phone does not work properly so we took it back to exchange it and he told us to BAD. He also made us buy cases because he said he needed to make a sale with the line hook ups. He also charged us for insurance that we did not want. So now we are stuck with a phone that does not work. Dont go to this store they are crooks.

Relatively new customer. So far so good.. There have been a few kinks changing to Metro from my old provider but they have dealt with the issues professionally and have treated me as a valued customer.As a matter of fact, after looking up their # on this site, I have been on the phone with Metro and began writing this review as I was placed on hold. Since then I have set up my online service payment, paid my bill ($60 unlimited data) and just now received confirmation via text. The process has taken 10-12 minutes including writing this review. Im bumping them from three stars to four.

I went in around 3pm after nearly a year of service to add a new phone I got from my son and I was not able to activate. Seemed that he didnt know how to activate the phone. Wanted to know where I bought the phone. It is none of their business. Went outside to call the previous carrier to verify it was unlocked. When I went back inside to try again (3:15) the guy locked the door and told me he was closing. The posted hours were until 5. Very rude the whole time. I pay more to get better customer service elsewhere. This was not Moby.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! First off it says it opens at 10am but every time went there around 10/10:30 they are never open. Second, The one time i went in me and my other half was in there talking and no one was around. We could hear talking from the back room but seems they didnt care that anyone was in their store. Took them a good 15 minites to come check what was going on in their store. Third, their cells have not been updated and most displays had no models. Seemed like there was only a few cells to choose from. THIS PLACE NEEDS SERIOUS UPDATE AND NEW PPL

Went into this new location to order an iPhone (they have none on display & are carrying only Samsung phones @ this time).The manager was helpful - at first - but the further we got into the process proved both frustrating and futile.Even with a full weeks notice he couldnt seem to order the phone I requested for delivery to the store - an iPhone SE 64GB. So with 5 days left I decided to try for the 16GB model as he seemed to imply that this model was available and that he could get it from Pittsburgh in a matter of 1-2 days.Nope. A week passes and I call HIM (he never called ME to let me know anything).And theres no way to order the phone I want through the MetroPCS website, either! Whats up with THAT? (rhetorical)Im heading to New Castle tomorrow for a family-thing so I thought Id call the New Castle store & try to salvage this experience. Call placed around noon on Friday - during store hours - and the call went to voicemail. I dont expect a return call because ... MetroPCS.Ill show up at the New Castle store on E. Washington on Saturday immediately after they open at 10am to see if I can do business with them.Its not looking hopeful.***UPDATE*** (next morning > 10-8-2016)Upon calling the New Castle store it all suddenly became clear!MetroPCS cant SELL phones that arent on display, and their iPhone displays have yet to be delivered, hence the displays arent up and ... etc., etc., etc.Now ... had the manager (?) at the Butler store simply said that to begin with, this review wouldnt even exist! Its that simple.Lack of knowledge is no excuse. Find out what the hiccup is and inform your customer(s). Anything less is derelict and unsatisfactory in business.

I stopped by just to switch one phone to another and the gentleman told me theres a $15.00 charge even if it didnt work. I said no problem, then he tried to sell me a new phone. I get it, Im a sales man but I told him no thanks. Then he spent 5 minutes on it and of course it didnt work and he said another $15.00. I wasnt happy then he charged me $36.00 Metro texted me thanks for your payment of $33.00. I hope he really needs 3 bucks. Going to start looking for a new cell phone carrier. I was loyal customer so what a shame.
