We were quite happy with the wreath they made for us to put on my mothers grave.

I went in for a couple arrangements. They ran my card for each transaction and I asked why they were doing them separately and was told they have a $3 delivery fee for each one. They also charged me $5 rental for one display and $25 for another. He said the $25 would go with it but it did not and then after the fact when they took it he said it was a rental also. In total I was charged an extra $36 . I probably wouldnt use them again.

My mother passed away and my husband was admitted to the hospital with heart issues and my friend Seth called The Butler Florist for a fruit basket to make sure I was eating something. The basket was beautifully designed and delivered with love and kindness. The delivery man was so happy and friendly it gave me joy. I wish I took a picture it was so pretty and all the fruit was very fresh. 5 stars 🌟

This florist came highly recommended but Im highly disappointed with my first (and last) experience. I ordered a sympathy bouquet from our team for our coach. The arrangement that was delivered was a lazy attempt of the photo online. The airbrushing on the carnations was dull, the arrangement overall was flat and and some of the flowers appear to be at the end of their life. When I sent photos to the owner, instead of attempting to correct the situation, he respectfully disagreed with me and tried to justify the differences.

On May 4 2021 my son sent a beautiful bouquet of white roses and lilies for Mother’s Day. A very kind gentleman delivered to my door. Bortmas never disappoints our family. Today is May 24, 2021 and my last Lily is gone. I enjoyed the roses for 10 days then pulled them and enjoyed the lilies!!! Thank you

The arrangement they made up for me was very pretty. It was ready for me to pick up right on time, and...the staff member I dealt with was very pleasant.

UPDATE: April 6th: The wifes birthday flowers arrived on 1 April and they are FABULOUS! Its THE BEST arrangement and assortment of flowers EVER! My experience with Bortmas had been nothing but positive. I live out-of-town and used them to send my aunt birthday flowers (96 yrs and still going strong). My aunt and her daughter were so pleased they sent me a photo. The flowers were beautiful in a generous arrangement. I recommend this florist for service and product, top quality both.

Dealt with a older lady for our wedding. she upset my fiancée the first trip by pushing her own agenda and just being rude. I went with her the second time and the lady was a rude and just a plain bully. told my fiancée she was high maintenance and asked me multiple times if I still wanted to marry her during our appointment right in front of my fiancée. I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my life. Im glad our arraignment fell through and we were forced to go with another florist. we couldnt be happier.... I hope butler florist goes out of business sooner rather than later. some businesses shouldnt have survived the covid pandemic

I called first thing this morning to see if they could arrange and deliver a basket to my daughter by 2pm. The young lady that I talked to was so helpful and arranged a beautiful basket filled with an assortment of chocolates, one wrapped like a present and 2 potted plants. They had it delivered by noon. I couldn’t be more pleased. The price was very reasonable and the basket was perfect. My daughter was over the moon. I will absolutely be returning for future needs.

I called to ask if that had any baby blue eucalyptus the lady said, “no my eucalyptus is green” and hung up. So I called back and said do you have spiral eucalyptus because I have heard baby blue called that as well. She rudely said I don’t know what you mean by that so I said the one with smaller leaves and is not seeded. She would not tell me and said well you will just have to come look.

This place is first class 😍From the customer service, to the arrangements, the speedy service, to the store front itself. I called for 2 corsages at 10am and they were finished by 2pm same day. We ordered flowers for a funeral. It was a last minute order since they were closed for the weekend and Labor Day. The flower shop had to substitute since they would usually need a day to special order our request. I was contacted in the morning about the substitution and the flowers were delivered on time. They were absolutely gorgeous and we were pleased. Thank you so very much.

Everytime I order the flowers are beautiful and stay vibrant much longer than I expect. I love the website for its convenience and the pictures are exactly as they arrive, not photoshopped or glorified. They were not able to fill my last online order but called me ten minutes after I ordered to not only let me know but helped me create an arrangement even better that could be done ensuring the colors I wanted and there was no upcharge or pressure. I am extraordinarily happy with everything about the Butler Florist.

If you want yelled at on the phone by the owner before you raise your voice back then order here. I hung up before he finished screaming. They have beautiful flowers and my husband and I have been ordering from them for a few years until now. I was so excited when their website said it was delivering to a certain area. I did call another florist before them because it was closer to the recipients, but they were closed. Even though their website states they deliver to certain areas, they will send them to a different florist without disclosing which areas are which until after you pay. They called to cancel one of my three orders due to distance but there was only a 6 minute difference between the two addresses. I even offered to pay $15 more for the extra delivery. I am firm that is super reasonable and doable due the the very short distance. We were already paying $20 in delivery from Butler to Worthington. I would pay whatever to get the flowers to my family. I admit, I was upset and frustrated when on the second call after the first lady called, so I probably wasnt happiest person to deal with. I was not going to order for only 2/3 family members. We had three flower orders that we had to cancel because of this. When the man asked if I still wanted to cancel I said yes. After that I said I was upset because I just dont understand why they couldnt have told me sooner and why the website said they could do it. This is when he started screaming at me on the phone. I told him I would be leaving this review to which he told me a was rude and a few other nasty things. So I hung up on him. Like I said Im not innocent in this either because emotions had me upset. I got defensive. My blood was boiling during this interaction. I 100% believe in supporting local during this time. I know times are tough, but they could have handled the situation different. They didnt even give me an option to pick up or ask if they could deliver them somewhere else.... just said they wouldnt do the order. My mom works in Butler and if the two people would have stopped being rude and let me finish a word, I would have had them delivered to her there. I am very disappointed. Take your business to another local shop if possible. I know I will be in the future.

I have been purchasing pre-made arrangements from this local shop for years. They have a variety of options in the cooler to choose from, and gifts. A little pricey, but there arent many flower shops around to compete with in our area, and the quality has been consistent and superb in my experience.

My husband bought a GORGEOUS wreath of rose and eucalyptus for our 7 year anniversary. Love the quality and the inspiration from the shop decor. This is a gem downtown!!!

The Butler Florist provided the flowers for our wedding and they were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. They provided beautiful table arrangements and flowers for the ceremony which added the perfect touch to the venue.

My sons date could not let him know if she could definitely go to the military ball with him because of a family tragedy. At the last minute, (the day of the Ball)she told him she was going and the only info provided was that she was wearing a yellow dress. I called this florist, since I frequently use them, and the woman on the phone was a little rude and told me they were too busy and she would have to throw something together and they didnt have anything yellow. I know better than that. As a business owner and a customer, there is always something you can figure out for the customer to make them happy, unless they specifically request something that you just cannot fulfill. You still make an effort to make the customer happy and to ensure future relations. Not this company. I dont think I will use them again.

I had an absolutely horrible experience. First, they messed up my daughters corsage by not putting the purple flowers in it as ordered. Second I ordered a red rosebud boutonniere and they tried to give me a white rose. They then gave me a very large red rose and left off the ribbon that belonged on it. We then found out the rose they gave us was broken. I will never and I mean never ever give them my business again and I recommend no one ever buy special order flowers from these people.

BUYER BEWARE. I went online to Bortmas, the Butler Florist website and I ordered an FTD arrangement for a family birthday. In this arrangement you could select Good, Better or Best. I selected Better. The person I sent the flowers to sent me a picture of arrangement she received. It looked like the Good arrangement. I went online to look closer at the descriptions. It says that the Better and Best arrangements will have more flowers. I called the florist and was told the Good arrangement had a 6 inch vase and the Better arrangement that I ordered had an 8 vase. I told them their website says nothing about vase size, that it says I get more flowers. I selected to upgrade because I wanted more flowers. They told me the would call me back. They did. They said, we followed the recipe FTD gives us. I said, well I ordered based on what is portrayed on your website. I didnt get that. She said she would talk to the owner and call me back again. I said I would like to talk to him directly. He came on the phone, I introduced myself, started to tell him why I was unhappy and he immediately raised his voice at me, insisting the bouquet was beautiful. I tried to interject, and he yelled at me for interrupting and I was to let him finish. He told me hes sorry I wasnt happy but theres nothing he can do. Basically, Too Bad. When I went back on the website, theres a line about how they Guarantee their FTD arrangements, and if a customer is not happy, they will refund the full price or send a new arrangement out. That apparently is not true. I have never complained about an arrangement before, and have used this florist in the past. I will never order from them again. I am stunned mostly by the way the owner treated and talked to a customer.

Even though we had significant limitations on the color choices to be used for the funeral flowers and the need for the spouses foot spray to be grand, the staff assembled arrangements that were superb.
