It was a great experience for me. They were more social than its just a job that need to be done. I appreciate the friendliness of communicating with the clients as well as working on the vehicle that needs worked on.
Got an inspection. Needed upper and lower ball joint on one side and a battery mount, which it did need those. Points for honesty. Tell them I will do my own work. Bring it back some days later and they charge me full price for another inspection because they said I took too long, which is whatever, but what got me upset is they were going to fail me because of my tire. They said it had rubber taken out. It was the same tire that passed the first time! Luckily I had a full spare in the trunk or I would have had to pay for a third inspection. The owner is super paranoid of the government. Mind you, this was supposed to be a reinspection, but I was there for almost 2 hours, and I scheduled it so I did not have to wait. I didnt even know my car was done but Pat went on a rant for 30+ mins and almost made me late for an appointment. Honest crew, but also super nitpicky and overly paranoid. $65 for a sticker when I did all the work is ridiculous. Wont be back.
They have always diagnosed the problem the right way the 1st time and always did great work on time. Pat and his family understand the value of a dollar and do everything they can to make sure theyre not patting the bill when people come in for a certain repair. Great people great service and I always bring all my cars here.
Good service and prices. Owners are fair and honest.
Only place I’ll take my car in Butler.
Had coupon for a free inspection. They ended up conveniently finding $300 with of unnecessary repairs, so I went elsewhere.
Ive been coming here for years. This is the only mechanic I trust in Butler. Being a woman, you automatically get targeted when you walk into an auto shop.... City Auto Works have always been honest, courteous, have great prices, along with a warranty to guarantee their work! They have always been reliable and a phenomenal group of people, Im blessed to have found an honest, hard working mechanic and staff. The next time you need work done on your vehicle, Id give them a call!
Very good work
Rip off. Terrible. Not honest
The mechanics are thieves they want to charge you the highest price possible.
This place is going to kill someone!!! On TWO separate vehicles, within a week after I have them out of there shop. I lost a wheel (the idiots put tires on with the impact gun) The second time I had children in my car and it ended up breaking off one of my studs. Would they fix it? Hell no... A month after they soaked me for $800 on new wheel bearings. I let my wife take it in for inspection, BIG mistake. They told her it needed ball joints and they could fix it for her for another $500-$600. She told them that her husband would do the work and bring it back in for inspection... They told her that her husband couldnt do the ball joints an would need special tools to do it (I can do ball joints in 15 mins with no special tools LMAO) Thankfully she brought it home. I jack it up to check the ball joints, MY BALL JOINTS ARE GOOD!! BUT the wheel bearing they just soaked me $800 for is not put in right and loose as hell. If that bearing would have failed before I caught it. It could of killed me, my family, and anyone else on the road. I wouldnt let these jaggoffs work on my kids bike!
Car was finished the next day I was so thankful I broke down right near them awesome job to city autoworkers
Theyre awesome
Loved it Pat is the best!
This place is ridiculously overprice everything and half the time they probably dont even do the work on your car.
