Had a decent experience today. We found everything we needed by ourselves. No one greeted or asked if we needed anything. The cashier was a tiny mouse who barely said one word. I had to greet HER. I gave 4 stars because of the selection of products. We bought lumber and gardening items. The plants outside were quite wilted and looked like they needed a good watering in 80° weather.

I got everything for my bathroom from there and its looks amazing!!

This rating pertains specifically to appliance purchases. Do NOT buy an appliance from Home Depot in Butler. The company they have contracted with for deliveries will give you a headache: RAS Logistics in Leetsdale. Check their ratings and read all the stories. Not worth it.

Last time walking thru those doors. Not only did they lose my business today, theyve lost it for good. Employees more interested in standing around talking than helping people who are standing around waiting. Butler PA Home Depot, never again.

They measured my grandmothers screen door incorrectly (for a replacement), by 6 whole inches mind you, which isnt a big deal in and of itself because sometime stuff happens.What were upset about is that they actually had the audacity to charge her to come pick up the door that they measured incorrectly in the first place and an additional delivery charge for the correctly measured door.If thats the kind of business youre going to run everyone should know about it. And no, my grandmother does not drive anymore nor could she load the door into her own car if she had one.Oh, and not only that, but she paid for the incorrectly measured one to get picked up, and its still sitting in her foyer after WEEKS.

I just had the worst experience at your store. NOT friendly AT ALL !!!! Rude and not wanting to help at all and it was like me and my Fiance were bothering them to check us out !!! I have never felt so terrible at a store in my life. And being a Veteran .!!!! Im just appalled at your service... I WILL tell everyone I see how your store is. And by the way We all work for are money. And deserve respect at least !!!!!!!....

The employees are always friendly and help is never to far away when you need someone. A lot to offer;from holiday decor to home remodeling. My kids love it as well, very family friendly

Had an upright freezer full of meat stop working on a Sunday morning so went and found one that was the same size. It was on the website as in stock but when we got to the store they wouldnt sell it because it was the only one left and the sales guy said he would not have one there to show other customers. When I asked him how that was different than all the items they advertise on line but dont carry in the store his reply was I could get it to you in two and a half weeks. Well they just lost a sale. I bought one at RW Mcdonalds the following day and even though I didnt get the floor model, they were willing to sell it unlike Home Depot. I wont be buying any more appliances there again.

Had nothing in stock two-week delivery time. Lowes had what we wanted and in stock. Two day delivery time. So guess where we bought the refrigerator from.

Richard who works in the painting section is phenomenal, he was so kind and helpful and made everything so much easier! He deserves a raise, he went above and beyond and we will ask for him every time from here on out!

Stopped by after the cats vet appointment to pick up some electric cords. Staff was super nice and let me bring the cat in so she didnt have to wait outside in the car.... It was pretty cold out.They had exactly what I needed and an employee near the entrance pointed me to the correct isle.I really appreciate them letting her come in! I live about 40 minutes away so I would have had to drive home and drop her off just to come back and get the cords if she wasnt allowed in. Great service!

Great love this place had a problem with an item we bought and had trouble getting the company to respond but the manager at Home Depot took care of the problem for me it was great she dropped my frustrations level greatly thank you for being so great your the best you know who you are not all Managers step up but Kelly did thank you so much

Had what I was looking for and a great deal on a grill.

$8500.00 of purchase in the last 30 days. Came to get additional lumber on Friday the 2nd of July. I am 67. Two staff watched me struggle to get the pieces I needed as they were above my head for 10 or so minutes. Never an offer to help as they watched me. I finally said something at piece #6 when one of them moved to help. Dont bother.Manager Ryan checks me out. Offers to send someone to help me load up. Waited 15 minutes. No one showed. Thanks Hone Depot. Great Public Relations.

Difficult to find someone to help locate an item. Clearly states at door masks are required. A man without a mask walked around shopping. No one must have spoke to him because I heard him telling cashier that COVID was no more than the flu. So no medical reason. This store should have more control over those entering the store.

Came to get specifically 5 things today and they only had 1 of the 5 things I needed. Out of 10 drywall completely, also out of drywall corner bead both 8 and 10. Then needed a butterfly 1gang plate for a cat6 wall connector, yep all gone then I needed a replacement spout for a gas can, guess what none in stock. What they did have was the weed and feed I wanted. Not sure when Ill be back since this was pretty much a wasted trip.

I had a delivery of fire rated drywall and purple board delivered on the 19th half of the order was damaged. I understand drywall will take dings and dents. This looked like it was rammed with the fork. I was told the second half of the delivery was coming the 21st at 5 pm. Sent guys to receive it and put it in the job site . After I paid guys to wait there for 2 hours the delivery was a no show. The store never even called to say they wasn’t coming. Called the store and received poor customer service from a manager (Johnathan) and then at the end said well maybe I can get the drywall delivered in 3 weeks. This drywall was bought and paid for months ago. Maybe I can get it in 3 weeks????

My favorite store that isnt a grocery. They have the most hardware and tool options around. I usually get my wood and hobby craft stuff here. Lighting needs, pretty much my place. Love this place.

Everything in this store is garbage and overpriced. Also dont open a credit card here, 25% interest rate and the $100.00 gift for signing up, youll never see it.

Lazy employees!! I was buying $500 worth of picket fence and lumber . The fencing was out front, when I took my lumber to the checkout the employee couldnt find the fencing in the computer. I explained it was right outside the front door he looked at me with a blank stare, walked half way out of the door looked at the fence only to come back in . He then asked me to go get a tag from one of the panels, really people its not my job to do your legwork . I asked if someone could help me load up the fence panels as I am physically disabled . An employee came outside and stared at me for a half an hour as I did it myself . Worst and most unhelpful Home Depot I have ever been in

Home Depot in Butler, PA. is the best! I can get waited on at either end and no arguing unlike one I was at telling they only do pickups and returns at that register. This is wonderful due to my severe heart and spine issues. Walking is chore.Butler Home Depot is well stocked and very polite. I highly recommend this store.

They had what I needed at a fair price

Im a local contractor that has been shopping at this store since it has opened. Ive also spent a considerable amount of money here through the years. I usually had a good experience here until recently.I purchased a kitchen countertop for a remodeling job. I got the top cut to fit into place and glued on the end caps. Then as I went to put the two tops together it was mitered wrong from the manufacturer. There was a gap where the two tops meet which is unacceptable. I took the top back to this store for a refund since I couldnt use it. First I checked other tops with the same style and they werent right either. I checked another style of top and the fit was good. Then I messaged my customer showing them other styles of tops available.I went to the Customer Service Desk for a refund or exchange. The lady at Customer Service and Margaret a Store Manager said that the there wasnt anything wrong with that top. She said bolts will pull that together. I knew that wasnt happening. They also said I shouldnt get a refund since it had been already cut to fit. Well thats one of the first steps before installation and at I wasnt aware of a defective top at that point. They gave me a refund and I said Id be getting another top there.Once I left Customer Service my customer contacted me and wasnt interested in another in stock top. As I was leaving the store Margaret the Manager approached me again asking where the other top was I was purchasing. She basically called me a liar since I wasnt leaving with another top. I said my customer had contacted me and wasnt interested in another top. She also said we usually dont take items back like that. We have policies, if we did wed have a store full of junk, and wed have to have a yard sale. Finally I had enough and said I probably wont be returning after this. She replied you dont have to get out theres the door! What a way to treat a good customer after this many years! I feel she very was unprofessional with how this situation was handled. I guess one customer isnt anything to a big box store though.

Out of Stock!! And oddly, newly configured store isnt helpful. Website was much more helpful than actual brick and mortar store, but items wont arrive until April?!! Just three little plumbing parts and apparently a very long shipping date. The DIY season has just begun and already Ive experienced a problem. 😕

I was able to find and purchase everything that I needed to redo our living room in one stop. I preordered all of the big items and was able to finalize everything else once there.

This Home Depot in Butler is a real nice store with great people.. just stopped in to pick up an online order . Went to pickup desk and the girl told me it was in locker up front. Prices on the way up, shopped plants looking for palms n braided fiscus trees n almost nothing. What was found was way over priced n didnt look to good. Store was clean n orderly but stock dwindling on a lot of items.

If I could give no stars I would. Not one employee said hello or could they help us with anything . Ive bought 3 large ticket items and each time I have to go looking for the employees to help. No wonder people shop online. To boot they werent busy they were all clustered together talking not one looked up to see if they could give assistance. Very poor customer service.

Went there for a pond liner. App said they had 5 in stock. Talked to 2 people in the department and couldnt figure out why 5 werent anywhere to be found even in backstock... nothing

My boss and I were shopping in home depot. Were older. No one would helps us find are products. Now mind you we spend a lot of money in your store. Weve been waiting on someone to come out and help us load a hot water tank. Its been 20 min since we checked out and know one came. So we go back in and filly a female cashier came out to load to Hot water tank! .

The paint department was awesome! Kathy was extremely helpful picking my porch paint! Not only did she with great expertise help me pick the color she helped me pick the type of paint that would be the best for my concrete porch. Very knowledgeable on color and types of paint. Honestly they dont seem to carry as many options as Lowes. Every time I need something for the house I would end up leaving and heading to Lowes for more options. Dont get me wrong Home Depot is pretty awesome and well worth the visit for your tool and hardware needs.

You almost lost a $900 order today. I had my list with all my sku# on for my items. Took to the cashier at the pickup order to see about placing my order. I was told by her that it was all out of stock. This made me mad. My husband and I just walked around to check things out. We found all the items. I went up to the pro service and Mike Cook waited on us. He was great. You only had 1 door left in stock and he was pulling it off the shelf when we left.I would like to commend and thank him for all his help. We almost walked out and went to Lowe’s. Staff are so much less interested in helping than they used to be it tends to leave you to fend for yourself.

Paid for a product and it has arrived at the store but the employees working today are to lazy and rude to get it so I can pick it up told me 3 different stories and were beyond rude even contacted online customer service to see if they could help they called the store and the store was so rude to them that they came back in the phone and said I’m sorry but I can’t make them do anything they are just being rude!

Lots of name brand tools. Online site gives free s&h which Lowes doesnt. Some items are more then Amazon & Lowes but most items are competitively priced and even better price on certain things. I could easily drop $20k in this place

Recently started on line ordering due to Covid. Supplies were promptly delivered and in good shape without any damage consistently. Most items arrived ahead of time, with e mail updates as you go.

I placed an online order, which included 2 gallons of paint. All other items were ready within a reasonable amount of time. The paint took 3 weeks! We picked it up last week, and when we went to paint today, both gallons were white.... I called to see if they could have the CORRECT order ready for us, since its a 30 minute drive to get there, and they were not willing to assist. The woman who answered was not nice whatsoever, and really didnt care. She just said, youll have to go the paint desk and have them mix it. No apology, nothing. So rude. Terrible Customer Service. This is in addition to the fact that it took 3 weeks for them to give us white paint straight off the shelf. Ill never shop there again.

My husband and I are regular Home Depot shoppers. At the end of February, we purchased a brand new refrigerator. The appliance was delivered on 3/3/2020. From the onset, the fridge didnt hold the temperature set on the thermostat. We lost hundreds of dollars in groceries (throughout the entire pandemic) due to the appliances inability to maintain a food safe temperature (anywhere from 8 degrees to 68 degrees). We followed the process and contacted the manufacturer directly. We had four service calls with no resolution, we put a hole in our wall for additional venting, we lost a valuable antique milk jug due to freezing temperatures. Also, dealing with the manufacturer service department is frustrating! (On hold wait times are LONG, call-back feature doesnt seem to work, scheduling is at least two weeks out, when the service person comes they dont have any parts needed to fix a refrigerator - you must order the part and when it is delivered, call to schedule another appointment.) We also contact Home Depot twice for help and direction on a brand new appliance that was completely unusable. The direction we received was the same process we had been following. We were finally able to work with a consumer representative, by submitting an online complaint. Our new refrigerator came on 7/16! However, it is not the same model we purchased. Throughout this whole process, we have learned a life lesson. DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM A BIG BOX STORE! Choose a local retailer who will stand behind their products.

Home Depot seems to be improving I am finding myself getting what I need more and more from them vs Lowes, which is becoming poorly stocked and having lower quality products. Wish Home Depot would have a 5% discount on its credit card if they did I would be a 100% Home Depot shopper.

Well my stove was supposed to be delivered today my son is graduating from Slippery rock we have a lot of people coming over for dinner tonight the stove isn’t coming I just found out they never called about that spoke to the manager Doug he said hey there’s nothing I can do after we talked for a while he said you know what come down and get the one I have here at the display I don’t have anybody can bring it to you but I’ll let you use the rental truck for nothing I’m permanently disabled I can’t do that is this the company you want to do business with think about it your kids graduating today A lot of food here waiting prepared and No stove that they promised me that would be delivered today no phone call saying it wasn’t coming I had to reach out to them Rhonda is just as bad as Doug is to many excusesTruthfully the more I think about this Doug is a coward. He promised me he would call me back no he pass the buck and had Rhonda to call me. My next phone call is the corporate

Stopped in today to pick up a quart of paint. I specifically asked for semi gloss latex paint. Paint lady tried to give me enamel. I very specifically told her latex, again, and why I wanted what I wanted. After several un-needed questions I had to grab a few other things while she mixed my color. Instead of a quart, got a gallon. I was in a hurry so I checked out went back to jobsite with the hopes of getting caught up. As I started painting, noticed it was enamel. Now Im even more behind than when I started today. I will be thinking of that paint lady as Im working an extra day on this job. I will never shop at this store again.

Asked employee for help. They didnt have enough trim in stocks. I was told to order it online and it works be shipped with free shipping in orders over $50. I did the order while I was standing there and it went through. I bought what they did have knowing I would be getting what I ordered. Only to get a call 45 minutes later telling me my order was canceled and I would have to pay $35 to have it delivered to my house no matter what I spent. Very frustrating!
