This review is late but I came to have my windows tinted back on March 27, 2021 and the tint still looks great!The employees here have excellent customer service and the owner (who I’ve spoken to that day) is down to earth and fair. I recommend this place for window tinting needs. Will be returning for other custom work eventually. Thank you!

Hector is awesome! He was able to fix my BMW when no other repair shop could do it. He was open and honest with us throughout the entire process. Prior to this we spent $4,500 and 3 months trying to diagnose and fix the car at other repair places in town. When we got it back, it was still not running properly but Hector and his shop repaired it in one week and there is no longer a check engine light on. The car is running like new!

Very professional and excellent business to have the tint done at. I had a 7 window 4 door Yukon done and it took about an hour 40min and they did it while I waited. The people who work there are very personable and you can tell they are like a family. I’m very excited to see how the tint turns out after the couple days of letting it dry, but right now it looks awesome!!! Guy who did the tint has been doing it for over 30 years, and the experience is what makes a tint job great. I will be bringing back more cars in the future.

One of the best experiences I have ever had dealing with a car. The whole staff/mechanics were very friendly and professional. They gave me a date to bring my vehicle in and started as promised. It was also completed in a very timly manner. My mechanic was Hector, he helped me get the best bang for my buck giving me what I needed and not trying to sell me on things I didnt. This company went over and beyond my expectations. I called on a Friday and scheduled my appointment for Monday to get my windows tinted and they were “squeezing me in”. They called me Monday morning at 10am telling me my car was ready for pickup. They were very fast and efficient. The most fair prices in the area and they did a great job. American Autoworks was willing to take on our 1990 Jaguar XJS that was dead and wouldnt start. No one else would even call us back. American Auto Works recently installed a custom air conditioning system in our 1936 Cord convertible. The system blends with all the beautiful chrome work under the hood. Their meticulous, hand crafted design engineering would be the envy of any car collector. We are extremely pleased with Hector, the owner, and his staff for their personal attention to the infinitesimal details as evidenced by the completed work.

I took my car to Hector after having some issues with an aftermarket throttle body on my classic car. Hector took the time and patience to properly diagnose the problem and fix it correctly. My car runs better than it has since rebuilding the motor two years ago. There are not many places that you can take a classic car and trust that your gonna get it fixed correctly. Although the repair was more than I expected I would not hesitate to take my car back there. And to top it off my car came back cleaner than it went in! My auto repair saga began in June of this year, 2020.20 days after a routine oil change my truck began to blow blueish white smoke from the tailpipe. Returned to location of oil change. They suspected, due to the high milage, it had started using oil. Suggested that I take it to a dealer. I did.The dealer quoted me a repair of 5K or a new engine installed for 14K. I took my truck home,and began searching for a good repair shop that wouldnt hit so seep in my pocket.Of the two that I contacted, neither had the tools to do a compression test. Gave recommendation to contact Hector at American Autoworks. Made appointment, took truck in.Test completed, and found an Evap leak. Repaired that issue. 1 week later truck was still having same problem. Returned to American Autoworks. They replaced a PCV valve. Again, brought truck home. A few days later it started having the same problem. Only worse. Smoke blowing from my tailpipe. Dash lights flashing, engine bogged down, and shutting off. This time I had to have it towed back to the shop.After further inspection and somewhat baffling, scratch your head moments. Problem found. Hector called me, told me of the problem and said he was just going to order the part and not charge me for it. He said I have to make this right!I cried! He did not know of all the mechanical issues, or replacements that I had to have done during the summer. Extra money was depleted. Money that was needed for new tires for my truck and to have electricity in the horse barn, had to be used to repair truck and tractor.Yesterday, Sept 25th. I picked up my truck. I met Hector Garcia for the first time face to face. This precious man of integrity, was a God send. He honored his word, and did not charge me a dime.I am still in awe of his generosity. I thought perhaps I would pay for labor, at the very least. Nope! Nothing! Zero! Who does that? What business does that?Words cannot express enough the feeling that I have for him. I hold him in the highest regard. I know, if ever, I have another vehicle issue, where I will take it. I recommend anyone who wants great honest auto repair to call Hector atAmerican Autoworks! Definitely had a bad experience..The things they are good at is convincing you that they are honest, trustworthy, and that they not scam artists! WHICH IS A LIE THEY NOT NONE OF THEE ABOVE! They had me fooled at 1st but I had to go up there and make sure my car was fixed right ....They even did a horrible job on my 70 cutlass ...I had to take that and get it redone!

I brought my 2005 F150 in for a unknown location leak, it turned out to be transmission cooler and lines, they replaced and I had an oil change along with inspection. Monica the service adviser was prompt in notifying me of the results. I needed brakes (which I already suspected) along with front ball joints. I drove off and I have to say they did a great job and my truck is operating like brand new. No leaks, steers well as they included an alignment with ball joint replacement. The brakes seem to be back to normal. Thanks for the friendly service and excellent repairs..I definitely recommend this shop.

I cant say enough good about this business. We had an emergency need to get our air conditioner recharged, and they fit us into their schedule so we could continue on our trip. I highly recommend them.

They told me they were slammed, I was afraid I wasnt going to get my car back for a week or so. It was done in 2 days!! Very fast and very quality work only had to wait 6 days for a motor transplant brought the motor back they had no issue working on it to solve an issue that I was currently having. Just all around amazing place to have working on my truck.

Over the weekend my check engine light came on and I was unsure as to where to take my vehicle due to some untrustworthy local mechanics. American Autoworks was highly recommended and I couldnt be more pleased. Customer service was great and repairs were done in a timely manner. I would recommend American Autoworks, Inc. to anyone that has engine problems and/or needs body work done. My 2019 VW Jetta had numerous problems after taking it to a local VW dealership to get a routine oil change. I was unable to drive it and it had to get towed. Hector picked it up after it sat at the dealership for a week and got the parts needed and got got it fixed as quickly as he was able to while saving me as much as possible on my high deductible. When it was done and I returned my rental car, he had one of his staff members pick me up and bring me to my car. They not only saved me hundreds of dollars, I know I can trust the job was done correctly. They are Fantastic!

We were told by another local business that we needed to replace the engine with an estimate of $4000-$6000. AAW found a blocked radiator and fan problem, had it fixed in no time for $210! I would definitely recommend this business.

I recently took my vehicle into American Auto Works to get a number of items repaired. In the past; every time I had taken my car into a garage I had always felt like it was the roll of the dice as to what kind of service I would get and how bad I would feel about getting taken advantage. Had a fantastic experience at American Auto Works. Hector and his staff went above and beyond fixing my 1965 Lincoln Continental convertible. The most intricate classics are these Lincolns. Their trunks are all hydraulic and electrical circuits, Hector knew exactly the problem and went in with confidence. They fixed my trans leak, and even wired in an amp for the old stereo while it was there. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ive been going to Hector Garcia and American Auto Works for work on my cars for years. Plain and simple...Hector knows his stuff with all makes and models. Over the years Ive owned cars from BMW, Acura, Honda, Lexus, Pontiac and Chevrolet and he had no trouble with any of them. Hes even helped me with body work from fender-benders. He does a great job of explaining what needs to be done and offering choices and recommendations. Additionally, he always is responsive even if you call in with a simple question about something going on with your car or truck. Ive appreciated his knowledge and workmanship in the past and know Ill need him in the future.

Best Mechanic ever! We took our 6 liter diesel to a certified Ford repair dealership repeatedly for the same problem and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it.
