Dont let his voice and working from his own home scared you away! Burnsville is quite a drive for me but when they have good reviews what do you do? You go!I did not know he work from his own home as I expected a shop when I arrived on short noticed. I found him on google and read all the good reviews so I give him a call than showed up because I needed an anniversary gift last min for the weekend. He took me right away and got my wallet done within 30 min or so. Loved the work and he pays attention to your needs and what you wanted to get done. Such a great experience working with Semyon! Both Semyon and his wife were very friendly and welcomed us into their home. Semyon’s shop is located in his basement and he worked with us to measure out and decide our design for these metal coozies. This style aluminum painted coozie is made of different material than a yeti, so we offered up an extra coozie for Semyon to test on first. He tested it right on the spot and it turned out perfect! We did 11 coozies each with a different initial for a reasonable price. He predicted a couple days completion but ended up finishing the next day.We are so happy with how they turned out, especially since we were able to get it done on a Sunday when other engravers were closed!

Perfection! I got an unfinished cribbage board off of Etsy for a christmas present - stained, polyed, and brought it to Perfect in Design to etch in a logo. He was very responsive and got back to me very quickly with a design - others I got quotes from were more expensive, not as tech savvy (only accepted images in one format, instead of converting for you) and didnt provide a mockup. Overall a GREAT experience and a perfect gift!

Was I need if getting some flask engraved for my grooms men next year and I came across Simon, great and and great service. Even though I don’t really need them till next year I wanted to get them done early and even though I didn’t let Simon know there was no need for rushing them he got 6 flask done quick in a timely fashion. Also he works at of his home and let me tell you he has a great work station and definitely will return and recommend friends for future projects.

I drove over to the location in Burnsville, which was a bit of a drive for me but totally worth it.I had a design I made myself and two glasses I wanted engraved as a special gift for my sisters wedding. They were engraved while I waited. Service was quick, well done and reasonably priced.Very satisfied!

Dont let the deep voice on the phone or the fact that they operate from their home scare you away! I had 5 items (wooden brushes) that I needed engraved for a wedding, which were completed in about 30 minutes. If you have a wooden item that needs engraving & live near Burnsville, check them out.

I found out about Perfect in Design while browsing Google for an engraver. I needed to get some pocket knives engraved for my wedding party gifts and it was short notice. I talked with Seymon on a Tuesday and I needed them by Friday at the latest for my grooms dinner. He let me drop the knives off at 9 oclock at night, because I got out of work late, we sat down and decided on font size and style and he was very helpful. He had all 7 knives done and ready to go on time and they look great. I would recommend to someone needing engraving services.
