My husband and I stopped in on a whim to check out used treadmills. Alex was working the store and was so helpful, we chatted with him for almost 30 minutes about options and different brands. He was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to, absolutely no pressure for a sale, and actually listened and cared about what we were looking for. We didnt end up buying anything this time but when we do, were likely going to go back!

Went to get a leg press came out with a total gym because the value add was immense and now I find myself working out to the point where I have to remind myself that I need to take a break because too much of a good thing is bad. I love my new equipment! Chris was easy to work with. No pressure, just great consulting on helping me buy what I needed. Also, my wife loves it and is getting her post pregnancy weight off in the privacy of our home.

DO NOT BUY from here. Waited over 4 months for service, called again and told there is nothing they can do. Even under warranty they dont have anyone to service, left with worthless piece of expensive equipment. No one in charge, no one cares at all and they got angry when I insisted something be done. Their offer of help is to forward my email on to someone else. Again, DO NOT BUY from here.

If I could give 6 Star Review I would. Chris was a top notch representative. My wife and I stopped in close to closing time and around the Christmas Holiday when the store was very busy. Chris worked with a few clients and us at the same time, giving everyone his best service. Everyone finished their purchases and we had many questions which Chris stayed late to answer. We were just looking and there was no promise of a sale. Chris didnt pressure us but gave us expert advice and his suggestions on what to use. He was very candid in his pros and cons of each, so we were confident he knew what he was talking about. We moved to Florida, where Chris had gone the extra mile to identify a store was near us and they could deliver. Eventually we used Chris to purchase our equipment, which was delivered and set up with no issues. I highly recommend this store for the competitive prices and the great service. Thanks Chris!

My husband and I recently purchased the Octane Rowing machine at this store. It was a big decision and we didn’t know what we needed for sure. We worked with Jay. He was so professional and knowledgeable. We love the rower and will definitely be return customers. Our experience was great!!

Very clean store with a nice selection of exercise equipment. We went in looking for a treadmill for our home and to shop some of the middle of the road price points. Within 2 minutes of being in the store the sales person explained how they were doing 850% more business then they did last year and his pay checks were great. I hadnt gotten that type of salesman ugly vibe since buying my first car in the 90s. We liked one if the Horizon models, but the sales person made the whole experience uncomfortable so we left the store. Plus, we were told it would take 2-3 months to get any of the models delivered. We ended up buying directly from Horizons website at a lower price then the store and it was delivered in about 2 1/2 weeks for free. Im sure the person we talked to wasnt indicative of all of their sales people, but it was for sure an experience that will keep us from going back.

Edit: Waiting on a call back to see if there is an option to attach tablet to the console without covering up the console screen.We accepted the extremely low amount they gave us for our treadmill trade in because we were excited to get our new elliptical. One of the features on the elliptical console was Hulu could be streamed as long as you had an account. Not only was this used as a selling point but this was also a big deal for us since we don’t have a TV in our exercise area. This particular console cost an extra $500 over the next cheapest one with no pre loaded apps. Just over 2 months later the Hulu app suddenly stopped working so we called the store today and we were told that Hulu ended the license. This was the main reason we spent the extra $500. Very disappointed.

HUGE FAN OF CHRIS WELLNITZ!! Go in and work with him immediately. Hes personable, extremely knowledgable about fitness & all the equipment sold in store, and is super easy to work with. You tell this guy what you want for your home gym and he will go above & beyond to make sure you get EXACTLY what you want.There was no pressure to buy something, you are able to test the equipment before purchasing, and they offer 0% financing for 18 months.Overall it was a phenomenal experience, and we will be back to purchase more equipment.THANK YOU CHRIS!!!!

Jay and Chris were excellent to work with. Jay was very knowledgeable about the stationary bike my fiance and I were looking at. He was friendly and answered all of our questions and was not pushy to make a quick sale. Chris helped with financing and got us taken care of and out the door quickly and efficiently. Girlfriend and I came in to look at treadmills. With winter coming, we wanted to get a machine for cardio since weve stopped going to a physical gym since COVID. Dont know the guys name, but we talked to him about our situation and he walked us through his inventory. All were $1500+ and we told him we were looking for under $1000. We dont need all the bells, whistles, and integration. He said anything under $1000 is only for walking and not running and tried to pressure us into ordering now as theyre back ordered by 8-12 weeks. We said we were still shopping around and would order online if we didnt come across a better deal. He looked offended and asked why we would order online instead of coming back. He then said that he works off commission and has a family to feed which we found very off putting as I guess he was to guilt us into making a purchase. When it became clear we were buying then and there, he just walked away from us. A week later, we found a treadmill designed for running and purchased it from Amazon at just over $900 delivered. Wondering how many people fall for the pushy sales pitch and attitude.

Black Friday might not be the best day to shop, but I found the staff at Johnson Fitness to be very knowledgeable, they gave people time to think and helped to give you options for your needs. Generally I found the pricing to be better than Amazon, and you avoid all those nasty Amazon delivery damage stories in the reviews. They had a good variety of equipment in different price ranges. Jay who helped me knew the equipment and helped me work through the options. Someone else next to me was being helped through financing options that they offer.

Emailed asking specific questions about the item. Requested answers be provided in an email. Chris from Burnsville sends me an email stating item is almost sold out, and I need to call him. No thanks. Others have the same item, and theyll provide the info via email

Very pleased with the service and attention given to us from both Chris and Jay. No pressure but concerned that we were looking for the appropriate piece of equipment that will meet our needs. Nice selection to compare with. Will definitely tell family and friends to visit this store.

A comment is truly required of the crew and particularly to Chris Wellnitz the consultant I talked with. Major kudos to those individuals! They are very well trained with the customer in mind. I relayed what I was looking for in a treadmill and after weighing the options I made my choice. The sale went smoothly and was delivered/installed in quick fashion and am enjoying it. A couple days later I went to register my new Horizon T101 online and noticed it was further reduced in price. I called Chris ... I asked if I qualify for a credit within a certain amount of time from purchase? Wow! I recd a call from Chris a few minutes later and Ive got a credit coming! High fives Chris! Awesome! Way to go Burnsville crew!

Their website is incorrect with what is available. Call 1st before making a trip. It looks as though a few of the employees have not tested any of the equipment, and act as theyre doing you a favor by answering your questions.

Elizabeth who is the store manager was great! I was able to look at a few ellipticals in my price range and get Elizabeths opinion, try them out, and ended up buying one that had just gotten put out that day! Love it!

Will make sure youre satisfied & all questions asked before you leave with your purchase. The Burnsville store is my favorite! Theres a massage chair in there thatll make you melt, & drool on yourself!😋

I have never done business with a more underhanded company. I bought a Precor AMT from them. When it was delivered it was not the machine I ordered. I called right away. I found out the sales person misrepresented the machine, and its cost. But they said they would fix it by giving me a used one with a warranty. It took over a month for the exchange to happen. Then a month later the machine stopped working. I called about the warranty and was told it was through Precor because Johnson fitness can’t work on the machine. I called Johnson fitness because they told me it was under warranty, they said they didn’t do the right inspection or file the paperwork so the warranty was not in place. They came a took the machine to do the inspection and fix the broken parts. After weeks of waiting and many phone calls I asked for a refund, which I was told was processed. After calling the credit card company I find that they had lied again. All of these interactions have taken weeks. I never hear back from the company representative on my first call, and have yet to see any follow through from the company. When dealing with a customer that has spent thousands of dollars, I would expect better service. I will say Tyler at the Burnsville location has been very helpful, and the delivery employees were very professional. But EVERYONE else has come across as underhanded and false.
