I went to Aloha Monkey as a walk-in to get a simple memorial tattoo on honor of my sister. Art was my tattoo artist and I couldnt be more pleased with the final design. He took a very basic idea I had, added a bit of finesse, and it was perfect. Ive scheduled another session with him for a larger memorial piece. I would recommend Aloha Monkey without hesitation, for a first tattoo or 50th tattoo.

My piercing experience with Bambi was fantastic! I have wanted a nose piercing for many years but was too chicken to do it. Bambi was friendly, knowledgeable, explained everything step by step and reassured me when I was nervous. He has a fantastic bed side manner and would highly recommend!I have followed his post care instructions and I have had ZERO pain, swelling, bleeding or anything. It was a awesome experience and I will be back!The shop is very clean and professional setting.

Everyone was warm, helpful, and patient. The whole process was easy and the piercer explained the process as it was going on which was reassuring. Information was given regarding care after, and any of my questions were addressed professionally. Did a walk in for a nose piercing and was in and out in less than half an hour!

I had a Daih piercing. I was with my daughter who was getting her lip pierced. (She is 25, but Im young at heart.) Robin was amazing & experienced. It went quickly & smoothly. I would highly recommend her for piercing.

I have gotten my nose pierced here before and it was very clean, she was very quick and helped me stay calm. I then decided to have my boyfriend and I get our tattoos here, since I had a good experience. It was wonderful, very good experience! The only problem was we had to wait awhile (we did a walk-in) but i’m not going to give any less stars for the wait. The tattoo artists did such a good job! Matt and Jordan did a beautiful job for helping us feel comfortable and making good relations with us. Our next tattoos, we will definitely come back to Aloha Monkey.

I visited Aloha Monkey to get a tongue piercing. Entering the establishment I noticed that it is very clean and there is plenty of artwork to look at if you have to wait in line. The receptionist is very polite and attentive. My piercing was done by Robin. She was very friendly and professional. She performed her job quickly but with care. She was thorough in explaining proper aftercare and the do’s and don’t when healing a tongue piercing. And after two weeks, my piercing looks great thanks to Robin

Kenny did an amazing job! I felt comfortable the whole time and he talked through everything with me to make sure I was happy with it. I have gotten so many compliments about how clean his lines are and how sharp it looks. I love it and will go back to him for my next one.

Stopped in to get my nose pierced. Bambi was great! He calmed my nerves and got me in and out with ease. It didn’t even hurt! He made it so quick and painless! He was very informative and answered all the questions that I had. I love it and I’m very happy with how it turned out! The receptionist at the dest was very nice and friendly. I got my helix pierced by Bambi. Im okay with tattoos, but long needles make me nervous. I told Bambi and he made sure to keep the piercing equipment out of sight. He was very knowledgeable about where the best placement would be so I could put in a hoop once it healed. The whole process was nice and chill and it didnt hurt as badly as I was expecting. I would definitely recommend!

I had a great experience getting my nose pierced here. Bambi put me at ease immediately and had me laughing pretty much the whole time. He provided as much explanation as I wanted to hear before getting started, and his instructions on aftercare were just as thorough and easy to follow. The shop is really bright and clean but still full of a lot of personality. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming. I had some questions about finger tattoos and they talked about their experiences with them, which was really great info to hear.

I really enjoyed my overall experience here! It was a little confusing upon check-in on where to go to start, and there were quite a few people there. However, after checking in, they quickly sent me back, and the whole piercing process took less than 10 minutes! They also clearly went over the after-care process, and sent me a follow-up email with instructions. I will be coming back for my next piercing!

Arthur is the ultimate professional. Getting my first tattoo and being older made me so nervous. He was friendly, professional and really put me at ease. Everything went so well, I went back to him for my second tattoo! He’s awesome.

I had always done my other piercings at home (not smart lmao) but this time I decided to go to a shop. reading previous reviews i expected to wait awhile since i had a walk-in, but i actually only waited about 5-10 minutes. my piercer, Bambi was very kind and very professional. when I first arrived I was feeling nervous, but he kept conversation and explained each step of the piercing process, which made me feel a lot better. David was my tattoo artist. My tattoo is lettering along the outside of my forearm with a color gradient from blue to purple to red. This design is from an art piece a friend made for me. He was patient and understanding when I requested some minor last minute tweaks to the design and placement. I requested an estimated cost beforehand and found the price to be reasonable for the size, color, and unique font.

Mark was great! Looking forward to my next tattoo when hes in town.

Great experience, the people know what theyre doing. They operate on walk-ins, so its first come first served. I recommend getting there early, because as we were there they built up quite the line. We came in with designs of tattoos we want, and they did a great job of translating them into the tattoos. Easiest tattoo Ive ever gotten, and great artists who know what theyre doing!

Got my PA from Aloha Monkey. Was fortunate in finding Bambi. Very experienced piercer, friendly, and patient. Took time to answer all my questions and set clear expectations of healing time and boundaries before making a final decision. My decision was made before rolling in but he provided time to pause to reconsider in case my summer plans increased risk of infection. All this to say, highly recommend Bambi and Aloha Monkey

Came in for a tattoo...1st in line for walk-ins, waited two hours while three people went in front of me. Gave them my tattoo idea (a fern) when I got there, only to be told two hours later that I needed an appointment. This was supposed to be my birthday tattoo and I waited two months to come with my adult son. Left with no tattoo. Very poor customer service and honestly, after this experience Id never get a tattoo here.

The people are nice, and the piercings were done quick, but it was way too expensive. I wasnt given a price estimate until I was going to pay and for simple lobe piercings it was $160+, and thats not including a tip. Overall wouldnt recommend.

I have been here a couple of times. The first time was to get my tattoo. David was very patient with my nerves and made sure I was comfortable before starting the tattoo. I kept going back and forth on the kind of design I wanted for the little tree that I was getting and the David came up with the perfect simple design for me. It took just a little time to get it done and then he made sure we had all the care instructions we needed and I have loved my new tattoo ever since!More recently I came in with a friend for her to get a couple ear piercings done and Robin was so incredibly nice and did everything so quickly. She was incredibly personable and did an amazing job making sure my friend was comfortable.Highly recommend these guys and we will definitely be back!

If I could I would rate this place a zero. The service I received was beyond terrible from both the staff and the manager. I have been mistreated and disrespected at this establishment. I have been scammed and when I have tried to speak with them, they were condesending and did not want to resolve the issue was frustrating to say the least. You are better off going to Claires. It is more worth your money. You can read all the bad reviews to tell you why you should not take the chance here. No point in paying for bad service.

I got a septum piercing here by Robin. Everyone was really kind, the piercing came out beautifully, and everything was clean and fairly priced. They have pretty gold septum rings that have a nice color and design.

This place is great. Professional, fun, nice people, and Amazon work. Dave did my tattoo and it looks great and Dave is pretty awesome. I am not saying that just because he is my cousin either

The staff at Aloha Monkey was super professional and friendly. I went in as a walk-in with an idea for a tattoo that included small handwriting. The shop worked with me to find an artist that would best be able to do it. Jordan did a great job on bringing what I wanted to life. He took his time and made the handwriting look as if my grandma wrote it on my arm herself. I would definitely return to the shop and Jordan to have work done again.

Arthur did an amazing job! It was my first tattoo. I brought in a picture. He explained why it wouldnt be a good idea to get it as small as I wanted. He helped come up with something similar that would show the detail in the area I wanted. He went over after care & my tattoo looks amazing!!! No blistering, scabbing, bleeding, or running ink.

This was my first tattoo and I was very pleased with the process and super happy with the results. Matt was not only great with the design modification needed and talking about what would turn out well but he was also kind and informative about what would be going on knowing that I had never had one done before. I was very comfortable. The atmosphere was bright and clean and I was surprised that I was able to get in as a walk-in so quickly. I have already recommended this place to others and if I ever get another I will be back.

Absolutely amazing - Piercer was very clear about what he was doing, and communicated with us very well about what he was doing and what to expect. He also did a fantastic job, placing my piercing straight and managing to do it without much pain at all

My friend and I have been here a couple of times for piercings and the staff have been great! The second time we came in, the front of my piercing had gotten lodged back into my skin which was a pretty painful experience. I felt more at ease and that I was in good hands though when I came to get it fixed. The guy who helped me let me put a larger stone on the front so a similar incident wouldn’t happen again (I was only given the option for a tiny stone the first time) and he made it a more lighthearted experience for me, I felt I was well taken care of!

Robin is amazing! I was having anxiety and asked a ton of questions and she was supportive, reassuring, and comforting. I got my nipples pierced and my nose jewelry changed out and the only thing that hurt were the clamps. I recommend Robin to anyone that would like to get pierced! She has been wonderful with follow up and questions since as well, even face-timing so I didn’t have to drive all the way up there. She truly goes above and beyond!

Really liked the front desk staff. Had called in prior to stopping by and they answered all my questions. On arrival, they were friendly and helpful. Suggested we might want to leave since there would be a wait but would give us a call when our turn was closer. Really appreciated that!!When we returned we had a short wait until our person was ready. Really wish I could remember his name but I can’t. We had provided examples of what we wanted and the location and the relative size. He returned after a couple of minutes with our pictures (which were very simple) and asked them to be slightly smaller. I am not sure how much of an artist he was (I am not trying to be cruel here, just stating my opinion). I don’t believe he could hand draw these simple drawings and seemed to rely heavily on the use of the copy machine. The reason I believe this is because I asked to have a tiny heart added to the drawing and was told ‘no, that wasn’t possible’.When I was getting my tattoo he did everything he was supposed to, cleaned the area, checked if I was ok after he started, however he was not personable. It made me sad. I tried asking him a few questions and he just seemed a bit annoyed. I was listening to the other clients and artists laugh and talk and they seemed to be having the experience I was wanting.Ultimately I am happy with my tattoo, however, perhaps not so thrilled with the experience.

UPDATE: I also have since noticed that the two ECG lines i have in my tattoo are two different sizes, and do not match as they did in the drawing. Very disappointing. Cant add a photo here apparently.Had a tattoo done by Kenny today. The facility was awesome and a great vibe. Everyone happy and smiling. It was SUPER busy though. From the time I finished checking in (1:33pm) to the time I was brought back by Kenny (4:30pm) was 3 hours. I understand this and would have gone out to do something if I had known, but it was super frustrating that I was quoted an hour wait max when checking in that turned into 3 since I was waiting in the shop. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a buzzer system similar to restaurants so you dont have to sit and wait? My tattoo took about an hour and a half in total due to detail and was $300. It was about 6 long and 3.5 wide, just black and white line work. Pretty high price for that long of a wait too. I am used to popular shops charging $100 an hour. Kenny was easy to talk to but seemed exhausted. It was hard to hear him over the music since it was pretty loud in the tattoo area.

I had a tattoo completed by Matt. He did an incredible job and I was very satisfied wis satisfied with the outcome.. I found him to be very thoughtful and is pool and very focused is focused while giving me the tattoo. It turned out really really well.

After my first tattoo from them turned out poorly (the semicolon), for some reason I decided to get another one (perhaps, I acted on the impulse and wanted to get a tattoo right there and then, since the place is really close to my house). I got tattoos from two different persons btw. The tattoo started healing poorly from the very start, but I thought it’s on me, so I doubled on the after care. However, no matter how much I cleaned it, the amounts of aquafor I put on, it stayed red and inflamed, and the ink started to come off. It stained my pillow, my t shirts and my blanket too. My friends (who have multiple tattoos on their bodies, so they know for sure how the normal healing process looks like) told me that it’s not looking good. As you can see, the tattoo is too deep into my skin, so at this point it scarring. I’m really disappointed. The money I paid for it obviously not worth it. Please, do your research, and go to the trustworthy tattoo-artists.

I had an awesome first experience at Aloha Monkey! The ladies working the front were super friendly and helpful.Josh did my tattoo and it turned out better than I could have imagined! Hes super passionate, creative, and talented at what he does. He really brought the vision in my head to life. In addition, he brings great energy and conversation to the room, which made the entire process feel relaxed. Im so in love with my outter thigh piece and will definitely be going here for any future artwork. Highly recommend!

The piercing specialist was super professional and pleasant. She took extra steps to be safe and clean and was able to take us as a walk in.While in the waiting room a young adult was there to get her first tattoo and the artist quoted her $250 for a butterfly smaller than my palm.The rest of us in the waiting area gave her the advice to go elsewhere. I just got an entire Phoenix tattooed on my forearm and only paid $225 with a licensed artist in MN.So.. I would maybe prepare to pay a bit more for ink here. Thats why I gave 4 stars. If I had not witnessed what I thought was an attempt to rip off a young lady I would have definitely given a 5.

I’ve had all my tattoos done at Aloha, and have been very pleased with their work. I’m finishing a ~20+ hr project with Matt in the near future, and have been thrilled with not only the quality, but his commitment to designing a piece that I love and will look great both now and as it ages.

I decided I wanted my ear cartilage pierced, and in the past went to Claires.My experience at Claires was painful, the piercing got infected and closed.For the first time in my life I nervously decided to go to a tattoo parlor.All I have to say is WOW!The procedure was so quick, just pinched and the pain afterwards from the piercing has been minimal.Im never going to Claires again!Thank you Aloha Monkey Tattoo for creating a memorable experience.

To start tattoo, was fantastic, artist did a great job with the work, however organization on the front counter was terrible, I came in and set a consultation appointment, came back a few days later for consultation was there about an hour in total to discuss everything, then set up an appointment to get the tattoo done which was about 2.5 weeks out no big deal for me, until I came in for the appointment, when I arrived I could tell they had no idea about the appointment, im in the retail/service industry for a multi million dollar company in upper management in the physical stores, typically not one to let little things bother me, what I see is an opportunity for improvement on the management and training side of things for the front desk, the girls working, all except for first visit they seemed stressed and unorganized. Pricing was high, it what it is, this shop from what I could tell is a higher end shop with great artist, that doesnt bother me, but when the customer service is not great through the whole process that will leave a bad taste in peoples mouths, the artist could be the best artist in the world but if the front desk doesnt keep up there end things will fail and people wont return, its the last interaction that people remember. My recommendation is better organization either on the training/couching side with the front desk or a better point of sale system. Something is a miss here. I hope my feed back can help your shop grow in a positive direction.

Heavily tattooed man here. I went in to get my daughters name tattooed. (Not a large piece only 5 letters) dude takes 30 minutes to print the stencil (I already had the font and everything printed out) then he says he needs to go for a smoke break. Another 30 minutes later, so after a total of one hour sitting on my hands we get started. I’m under the gun for MAYBE 45 minutes. They charged me $300 and then had the nerve to ask me for a tip!!! I’ve heard bad things about this place and I gave them the benefit of the doubt with something as simple as a five letter word. And the artist literally SCARRED me. With as tattooed as I am, I know how to handle aftercare and take care of the tattoo. Extremely disappointed with the customer service, the pricing and the work!!! How sad that I can’t be proud of a tattoo of my daughters name!!!
