I came to them to fix my Genuine scooter. It took three times longer than estimated and I was never called when it was finished. Once I called in at 6 weeks out he had told me it was ready. Also, after spending a lot of money with them I would have hoped to come back to a clean scooter. It was filthy, way dirtier than when I left it... leaves in the side car. And the gas tank was empty. You do not get what you pay for here. Also as a novice scooter rider knowing very little about the mechanics. They were very rude to me when I was confused about cold starting it. I really don’t recommend using them.

Not only did my buddy buy a great restored bike from Daily Rider at a target price, I had a great brief experience at the Daily Rider as a returning customer. They extracted a sheared bolt from my transmission in about 2 minutes flat and were very honest and informative about the process and risks. Will be a longtime returning customer in Burlington!

Have been going here for a few years now and am quite happy with the work. Got an old bike (1979) a few years ago in rough shape and the Daily Rider has helped me get the back back on the road and I couldnt be happier. While certain smaller jobs I like to at least attempt on my own I am always happy to have a local shop down the road that can help with larger issues. I have dealt with Ben mainly, but also Mark and other staff members and all are friendly. Always recommend them to my friends and family. Happy to be a customer at The Daily Rider

I brought my scooter I bought from Facebook to this garage to make sure that it was safe to drive. I paid little money for the scooter and was okay with having to put some work in it to make it safe- but in no way do I think my scooter is of amazing shape. It gets me from point A to point B. Whoever works on scooters there (I forgot his name) immediately knew who sold me the scooter and proceeded to tell me that I wasted my money, the scooter probably wouldnt last more than a mile down the road before Id have to bring it in again to fix it and said he would take a look at it to see if there was anything he could do. Very rude as a first impression, but whatever. This isnt the first time Ive had someone who works on vehicles talk to me this way. After bringing it in, he said he fixed the idle and that I needed a new battery for the electric start. I purchased a new battery and paid for the service (couple hundred dollars- not a big deal). As I was driving it down the road, I came to a stop light and my scooter completely died. The idle was way too low. I was luckily able to start it again, but it died again at the next stop sign if I didnt feather the gas. I brought it back in a couple of days later. The owner of the shop was very nice and told me that they would take a look and see if there was anything they could do to fix it. All they needed to do was re-adjust the idle because it was too low. After a couple minutes of waiting, the owner told me that there was nothing that they could do to fix my scooter and that I would have to take it somewhere else to get it serviced or buy a new one. I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone that doesnt have a scooter or motorcycle in amazing shape that wont cost more than a couple hundred dollars to fix because they wont fix it. BTW, Im still driving my scooter around after adjusting the idle with no problems over a year later.

These guys are as good as it gets. We drove from North Conway NH to see a Harley they were selling, and it was even better than advertised. They helped make adjustments for rider size etc, and were extremely helpful. The bike made it back home three hours later with nothing but praise from its new rider.

Called up and asked about getting an inspection and a front tire installed, already had the tire too. Was told to swing by, no appointment needed. When I dropped by Ben asked if I was going to wait. I said I could leave the bike and go run some errands, I even said they could take a day if needed because it was going to rain anyway.Five days later I call and its still not done. They say theyre sorry but busy and ask when I want it done...obviously quickly so I can ride.Seven days go by and I decided to just pick up the bike and go to Land Air in Essex to get it done quickly and right since it still wasnt done.I cant recommend these guys and wont use them now, their loss; wish they were just upfront and honest at the time. Feels wrong.

Mark does shotty rushed work.My girlfriend bought a bike that needed some TLC, she had friends that highly suggested Ben at the Daily Rider even if the waiting list was a bit long. Ben was nice enough to get things expedited a bit and got the bike running decently in a week but had some time off. Mark stepped in and even though all that was left was to sticker the bike he said the exhaust needed welding for a crack. My girlfriend and I not having ready access to a welder agreed to the work without seeing the crack in person. Days later Mark calls us to say the entire exhaust needed more welding and that work would be another 300.This is the point where we decided to take the bike back and assess things. We pulled the pipes off ourselves and tested them finding leaks on most of the seams and where Mark noted on the cross over pipe. We however didnt see evidence of quality welds one would expect and mistook Marks weld job for some the prior owner had done. This afternoon when we went and asked what welds were his, Mark became incredibly defensive yelling at us that Im not going to stand here and have my work criticized. I will leave these pictures here as evidence of why my girlfriend felt she was being bullied by this old gruff man ask asked me to come along. We will now be spending hours of our next weekend grinding this trainwreck of a weld down so a) its not a tumor and b) doesnt leak

The Daily Rider provided horrible service!! They sold me my scooter and were responsible for repairs under the warranty.. first off they resisted when I asked that the repairs be covered by my warranty.. next I spent an entire summer of them making repairs that never fixed the running problem.. at one point they told me they just could not fix the scooter and tried to give it back to me broken AND charge me for their labor.. this nonsense went on and on... if a bike shop cant fix a 50cc scooter after 3 tries they should just close the doors on the place.. and at one point they broke the mirror off the scooter and tried to charge me for it.. they were rude, over charged, and couldnt fix the scooter... I finally had enough of being screwed and will never return

After travelling over 4000 km with a friend this shop was a destination that we had to go to. My friend broke his key in his tank. The fellow working at this shop hooked us up with a local locksmith and the issue was fixed quickly. They also tightened my bike chain on the spot. Thanks to this my bike was ready to tackle another 1000kms. Big thanks to the guys working. They saved us a lot of grief and helped us get home safely.

Terrible customer service. They had my moped for over 6 weeks and never even fixed it, not to mention still charged me for a $50 diagnostic service. I had to call to find out the status of my bike four times the first two of which they hadn’t even looked at it yet. Don’t take your bike here!

My motorcycle which Ive modified for road racing, turned out to have a not so simple problem with the carburetor. Ben and Mark dont hesitate to tackle the problem. They even worked with me with the cost. When the problem started happening again they took it back in at no charge to resolve the issue. Great place!

I brought a scooter in to have it repaired. I did my homework and knew exactly what was wrong with it and directly asked to have the specific part replaced. A week later I got a call stating that the scooter was totaled/the engine was seized and they would buy it from me for $50. I declined and took it back. I took it to another shop and within 10 seconds, they had the motor turning perfectly. The Daily Rider charged me $75 for the service, which was discussed at the counter. However, on pickup, they tried to charge me $150.I would strongly recommend staying away from this place. Theyre your typical shady/immoral mechanic.

The team at the Daily rider is very good at taking care of your bikes needs, be they routine maintenance or the installation of aftermarket parts and tuning. Marc and his crew brought my Triumph from so-so to fantastic with a dyno tune and new EFI map. Just in case you didnt realize, a shop with a proper dyno is not an easy thing to come by in these parts. The shop has a very cool cafe racer meets mod sort of feel to it, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating to ones needs and schedule. The shop handled my nit-picking well and worked with me to resolve a few issues I had in the quest to get my bike just right. Their hard work and dedication to this end was much appreciated. Prices were reasonable to boot. I will definitely be brining my bike here from now on for any type of work I need done.

I just got back from this shop and my experience was horrrible! Im in the market to buy my first bike and was really excited about what this place had to offer based on their website. When we got there, we stood around for approx. - minutes before we were even greeted or waited on, the salesman had a bad attitude about the questions i was asking about the bike. When I went to ask him about possibly purching, he was NOT willing to work with me to make a deal AT ALL! He said he priced his bikes to their fair value and would not budge. Kelley blue book had the value of this bike for almost $200 less than asking price. The whole overall experience was horrible and a complete waste of our time. I now have a bad taste about purching a first bike which is NOT how that kind of experience should be! I would not waste your time w/ this shop or its staff. They are very rude and unhelpful. You definitely wont feel like a valued customer.
