Great shop! Not the cheapest, but they have some of the specialized equipment that smaller shops sometimes lack. I had the mysterious check engine light on my Mazda. They diagnosed the issue correctly, and ordered/installed the correct part to solve the issue first time. A great alternative to slow and even more expensive dealership repair places! Courteous and knowledgeable front desk staff too!

Theft on the lot: Told my mom to leave her van for several nights while he waited for parts, when she realized the parts were for something already done in the vehicle, she cancelled that service. AND AFTER HER CAR WAS BROKEN INTO ON HIS LOT he charged her a $299 re-stocking fee for those same parts!!! Then told the police that theft was pretty prevalent in the area and he had been aware of it!! So why advise a trusting woman to leave her van where theft is prevalent in order to wait for parts that were not actually needed??? Be very very careful at this place if you ever decide to go. She now has to replace a $500 power station due to theft in his lot and didn’t know what to do when being charged $299 for a restocking fee AFTER being robbed. Her entire van was tossed.Chaney: regarding your response, my mom was advised to leave her vehicle there for several days (highly increasing the risk of people passing by seeing the opportunity to scope out the personal items). In addition, the two services she asked for aside from an oil change were not done: the radiator fluid and tightening /adjusting the wheel bolts (I’m sure that’s not the right terminology) were not done. The radiator fluid is especially important for this vehicle to ensure the functionality in cold weather. Instead, your shop ran a diagnostic to look for things you could tell her she needed to do when your shop is not certified to work on Mercedes engines. She is older and didn’t know how to handle the situation which is why I want to alert people to have someone who can stand up for themselves instead of convinced they need to do work to the vehicle. I called to say to please ignore the lights that she’d take it somewhere certified for these engines. The situation was handled very poorly by the shop. She paid over 1,200 and left without the radiator fluid switched out. The initial recommendations from the diagnostic were over $4k. She’s on social security and that would wipe out months of her income. Why the shop didn’t do what she asked and instead runs diagnostics to find out what more expensive things to do, On top of telling her she should leave it for jdays on end there while theft is prevalent in the area, is beyond me and people should be warned.

The staff were super helpful, I was under a time crunch and they were able to get me in on the same day! Their service is timely, it was only a matter of hours after drop-off that they reached out and provided a comprehensive inspection report by convenient text message. We went over the details of the inspection report by phone in a personalized way. After letting me know what would need done, they began working immediately on my car and had it ready to go the next day. Despite my crazy job hours, we arranged a way that I could pick up my car after their working hours so that I did not have to go another day without it.TL;DR Personalized, efficient customer service!

We were visiting from out of town (on a holiday weekend Sat) when our car started making a horrendous sound. After looking around for a place that was open on Sat (not something easy to find), we drove into Noyes. They accurately diagnosed the problem as the disc brakes, and squeezed the repair job into their queue for the day. The work was reasonably priced and well done. The staff were all very helpful. It was a big relief to get our issue taken care of with relatively little hassle. Thank you!

My wife and were visiting Burlington and our car was acting as if wheels and other front end parts could be a problem. Before the drive home we just swung into Noyes to see if they could check it out. They did and declared that other than worn tires we were likely safe to drive home. Locally own, which is awesome! However to change over to my winter tires took way to long. Sat and waited with an appointment for 2 and half hours before they would even start the process. When I asked how much longer it would be they said they were able to do it in 30 mins. Ended up leaving for something that should of taken less than an hour to complete.

They finished the work a day sooner than we thought they would! Great communication and attention to detail.

I had a great experience. They were able to inspect my car the very next day after calling to make an appointment and promptly did the work required in order to pass. They also rented me a loaner car as well at a excellent price in order to get my daughter to and from school while my car was being repaired. Everyone was very nice and I definitely plan on returning for all of my future automotive needs.

They helped me find the right kind and installed everything for a great price, with friendly service and could fit me in the same morning I called. Also, the tire storage is a huge plus -- I dont know where I would store my second set of tires as I do not have a basement or garage.

I had my car detailed. They did an excellent job, and even shuttled me to work and picked me up when it was ready.

They were super nice and accessible. With a tv screen for obvious prices, a link to your cars condition, and a comfy waiting area getting an oil change was a great experience. They checked my car and gave me quotes for other things that might need to be fixed with no pressure to get it done right away. When I was confused they patiently explained any questions I had and prices were totally reasonable.

Couldn’t recommend Noyes enough! Super helpful, communicative, and kind. The technician even came in on his Saturday off to finish some work. More than satisfied!

Car mechanics are in a tough spot. No matter how good they are, no matter how honest they try to be, parts are going to break and wear out. Decisions need to be made that dont have easy answers. And people will blame mechanics. Running a shop at the height of tire swap-over season is messy. Mistakes will happen. The real test of any repair shop is how they handle mistakes and how they communicate with customers to make the best decisions for their cars. Chane Noyes handled this very well.I needed new tires for the winter. 20 year old car, 245k miles, not a junk heap but obviously a senior car. A few hours later they send me a report on the cars condition- worn control arm bushings, needs new rear brakes, power steering leaking. Wont pass inspection in February without getting at least $1300 work. OK, makes sense. In the meantime, they installed new tires, $530 for a car that I was going to get be getting rid of because of the other problems.I posted a review here that complained about them not discussing my options before putting the new tires on. Chaney Noyes, one of the owners, contacted me and we talked over what had happened. He offered to work with me to see if the car could pass inspection; arranged for a state inspector agent to come and look at the car. The car will pass inspection, yay! He also offered to buy back the new tires and sell me a used set.Initially Noyes made a decision to install new tires on my car when that might not have been the best thing to do. When they realized that I thought it was a mistake, they went out of their way to work with me to resolve the matter.

I had a winter tire that needed mounting. I stopped in during my lunch break expecting to drop off and pick up later if they could fit me in. The crew immediately mounted/balanced the tire and also checked the TPMS function for me. It’s not always easy finding quality and friendly service these days, but there guys are it! Thank you!

I do wish the “Noyes Special Servicing Option” were printed out. I’m still not sure of the total coverage. The tires after one day are working well. Overall, you done good.

The crew fit me in last minute for an oil change. The staff was friendly and very helpful, and the prices were reasonable.

There was a little hiccup with some paper work but the staff were super friendly about it all and just wanted to resolve the issue. My truck went in for basic service and didn’t feel like I was being hounded to do additional work to the vehicle. They noted a few upcoming service items but explained the timeframes for me and did not pressure me into scheduling the work. I’ll certainly be back in the future.

These guys are great! Made no effort to up-sell me on anything. Very honest, straightforward transaction. Did a beautiful job on my car. No one else in the area could do work on a Tesla because they require a special lift. They have the adapter for the lift and knew exactly what they were doing.

Apparently, this review still had my original good review, so I’ll continue with this year. Bruce and everyone was more than patient with my questions. That Check Engine Light will be a thorn in the automotive side. They suggested I drive my car around to reset ‘the brain’, and then come back to check to see if everything is reset for inspection. I did business with them a second time, I will be doing business with them again. Highly recommend them.

The guys were able to identify and fix a crucial issue with my car within 5 hours and I had NO APPOINTMENT. That’s obviously not common, but they were extremely accommodating given the fact I was leaving for Philadelphia later that day. Cannot recommend enough!

Ive had previous good experiences at Noyes. However, shortly after the last time I took my car there, when I was replacing a headlight, I discovered that the oil cap was never put back on and oil had sloshed everywhere. Otherwise, they are very kind and have quick turnaround on service - even with last-minute repairs!

Very disappointed. I brought my car in for a removal of a device that took 2 hours to install but took 3 hours to remove and charged me $285 and there was adhesive still where the device was! I called around and Yipes Auto would of done it for $90. I feel terrible because I feel like I was taken advantage of. I brought my 4Runner in for an oil change and tire rotation before a long road trip. Because of their courtesy inspection I found out I needed brakes & rotors. They sent a photo of the rust damage proving it was needed and not just a ploy to get more money out of me. They were able to do all the work before I left the next day! The shuttle drivers I had were awesome! Polite and friendly. I usually bring my truck to the dealership but I’ll be bringing it here from now on. Thanks guys for getting me on the road safely!

I went in to get my winter tires switched to summer tires and my oil changed. On my way out I asked them to look at my window which had been broken. 4 hours later I get a call from Bruce saying it’s the bearings in my window that are broken, they are $50 and half hour labor. They already have my door taken apart why not. I show up to get my car and the bill is $170 (just for window). I’m frustrated because my quote was $50 and half hour labor that doesn’t add up to $170. Then the mechanic proceeds to tell me the window is still broken and it wasn’t the bearings it’s the regulator, but I still have to pay the $170 to get my car out of the garage. I leave disgruntled the next day the “owner” Cheney calls me telling me he wants to make it right and that I should bring my car back in and they will fix it. A week later I bring my car in. It’s in the garage for 7 hours when I go to pick it up Cheney now says I owe him an additional $393 and that he is doing me such a favor by not charging me labor and discounting parts. He also states that I cannot have my car back unless I pay him . All together $570 to make a window go up and down!! How is this place even in business? Where is Herb Noyes ? I don’t think he would like the way you are treating his customers . Whatever you do . DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

I gave Noyes a try because they are convenient to work and I didnt want to deal with bringing my car to the dealership. I had them do a tire changeover, winter special and an inspection. They did a great job, my car was ready earlier than I thought, and I will definitely use from now on. Pricing was less than the dealership, too. After reading reviews on having them detail cars, that will be next on my list. Thank you!!

Weve been taking our vehicles to Noyes for many years, and weve always been satisfied. They are very friendly and helpful. Ive always been treated fairly and honestly. I highly recommend them! As a person who runs a tight schedule, I appreciate their prompt shuttle service. Unlike other garages that run scheduled shuttles you have to wait around for, they just take you where you want to go when youre ready! Ive rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride. Theyre also very close to the bike path, so its an easy ride to wherever you want to go. I highly recommend them!

Had the interior detailing service done with exterior wax and wash. My ten year old car never looked better. Price was very reasonable considering the obvious amount to time and care that went into it. Even the tires look better than the day I bought them! Definitely using these guys again.

Noyes was so wonderful! I got an oil change and detail and they were so fair about prices, not to mention my car looked brand new! Also, my airbag light was on from my detail. They were pretty sure it would go off over night but they were very concerned about me driving to work until it went off so they left me a loner to use for work the following day. The light did indeed go off. Such great service and nice people!

I purchased winter tires and had them installed at Noyes and they also did an undercoating. They call to alert you of any other problems with your car and provide options for resolving those problems. They also serviced my battery and did an alignment and everything is great so far! I used the shuttle to get back to pick my car up and they ran a little late, but when I called to explain my situation with work responsibilities they were INCREDIBLY accommodating and made sure I was able to get my car as quickly as possible. I made it on time!

I had to deal with a logistically challenging issue from out of state and the Noyes Team were rock stars. I had never done business with Noyes but they treated me like I was their best customer and gave me a level of personal service that was incredibly helpful given i had to purchase some expensive stuff sight unseen! Noyes fit in my very dirty car for a detailing with just a couple days’ notice, and they did the best job I have ever seen. It wasn’t inexpensive but it was well worth it!

As a 1st time customer, I was very pleased with the whole experience. From requesting an email quote-for new tires and front struts,... to a prompt and informative response; quick appt time with clear and expected results and clarifications. Once the work was completed, the mechanic, Gary, and Bruce at the front desk let me know that I should return, after so many miles, to have Lug nuts checked for tightness and safety and remind me to return every 6 months for free tire rotations. Ive written over a thousand positive reviews and this is the rare one star. This low rating is not from the work but from loss of trust after the owners denying response to constructive criticism.Our written service request asked for frontend alignment, check break pads, and transmission oil change. We left with four new tires, mistakes, a bill much higher than expected, no written estimate no break pad check and a nagging feeling that we made a mistake by not paying attention to Noyes low Yelp rating.Owner Chaney Noyes was friendly and set an appointment within 24 hours. He even loaned us a car for free since the tires would take a few hours to arrive. The transmission oil change cost more than the local RAM dealer who was booked until two weeks so we proceeded with Noyes.The written estimate didnt include the front end alignment or Vermonts $24 tire return fee so the final bill was at least $200 than the estimate (he took back the initial estimate so I cant say exactly how much higher).We were happy enough when we left until the tire pressure light stayed on for another day. We were on vacation and in another town went we discovered the brand new rear tires were the exact same pressure as the front: 15 PSI low:-( This was clearly human error, mistakes happen so I texted polite feedback.Most worrisome was Mr. Noyes reaction to that and later comments. Mr. Noyes bazzarly texted the two tires low tire pressure could be the result of a sudden drop in air pressure which happens throughout the day to every industrial air compressor. Mr. Noyes texted, As for the estimate you were verbally given complete pricing by me and if you wished to see a complete pricing structure you need only ask. The cherry on top is he now says someone else sent that text.

I got a flat tire on a Friday afternoon at 3:00 and took it into the shop unannounced. They had it repaired and back on my car by 5:00. Great service and very friendly people. I would go back and recommend Noyes.

Brought our car because of wire issues. They charged us 1000 dollars when the body shop got the car it turned out they spliced 3 wires in the airbag wire harness which actually compromised the air bags and they could have gone off at anytime. I called and spoke with the manager who was supposed to go and look at the car at the body shop and then get back to me. That was 4 days ago and haven’t heard a word from him. Please avoid this place at all costs. If I could give a negative review to this place I would. The mechanics have no clue what they are doing and the manager just gives lip service. Someone needs to sue them So they understand what the word fraud is

I recently had a standard front brake job done- pads and rotors were replaced on my 2012 Toyota Tundra. After picking the truck up and reviewing the bill I said there must be some mistake. The bill was about $300 more than I expected. $462 just for the parts - pads and rotors. I paid the bill and immediately went to Bond Auto, Fisher, Advance Auto and the Toyota Dealer. I asked for the best brakes and rotors at each store with printed quotes. As expected, the Toyota Dealer was the most expensive but still almost $200 cheaper in parts.After confronting Noyes and showing them the quotes and pushing back, I did receive a credit back but still not what I expected. I never imagined that a local shop would have the same labor rates as a real dealer and most importantly charge so much more than the dealer for parts. Fisher Auto was almost $300 cheaper in parts. I will say that I have been a loyal customer for years because of the convenience. I can’t in good faith be a customer any longer.We are removing Noyes as a preferred customer from my work, which happens to be one of the largest employers in the state. When I posted my issue on our internal facebook page over 80 coworkers all shared similar stories. Please do not go to Noyes without shopping around first. Convenience obviously comes with a steep price.

Here is another poor review from a brake job.I so wish I had read these reviews before I took my car in.I had a noise in my brakes, so I had it checked out. I received a text message to look at pictures and to call them.I looked, and no pictures, but told my brakes needed pads, rotors, etc..Being as I needed my car back I had the work done. I paid, and asked about the front brakes, since they replaced the back.I was given a lengthy story about brakes in general, that rotors arent as thick anymore, since manufacturers are shrinking them down for better fuel economy. Im told they never replace just pads anymore, and that they havent used their lathe in years.. Oh, and my front brakes will probably need to be done before years end.Unfortunately, I didnt get to even see my rotors to try and justify replacing, and I have no idea what aftermarket rotors they were replaced with (not specified on the bill, so who knows?)Oh, did I mention - I still have noise in my front brakes?Ill look around as others have posted here.

I recently bought a used truck from a dealership that was disclosed as some cosmetic rust. No big deal, its VT. Fast forward less than two months later and Im hearing some awful noise while turning and driving at low speed. Noyes got me in on short notice and let me know what was wrong same day. Turned out to be a much bigger deal and the truck was sold with more than just some cosmetic rust. Provided me with pictures of the issue and explain what was going on. Spoke with a couple of the guys and they were all very friendly and helpful and Ill definitely be coming back.

Called yesterday morning to see about all season tires and an oil change. Much to my delight they fit me in on the same day. Perfect! When I picked my truck up, however, there was grime/grit on the inside door handle, windowsill area, shifter, and steer wheel. I thought it standard practice to protect with a cover or at lease to wipe down a vehicle prior to returning it to the customer. When I got home I had to clean the areas left dirty by a tire changeover and oil change. Also, my tires were not bagged, just put in the back of my truck - which is fine, until I needed to remove them to store them at home.

I was able to get in same day for an oil change and they were courteous and professional.

I am beyond pleased with the service I receive at Noyes. They are always helpful and courteous, and never try to sell me more than I need. They work with me on budgetary needs and they are always very helpful explaining what exactly is going on with my car. One time, Chaney hopped in the car with me to assess and explain a brake issue I was having. I couldnt get the service I receive at Noyes ANYWHERE else at ANY price, and especially not for the same amazing price that I get at Noyes. This is a wonderful team and a true community service. While driving from Maine to St.Micheal college my 2009 Avalanche broke down with a rear end issues. A week later and some fantastic customer service and another ride back to Vermont my Avalanche was ready as promised. Felt like I went from customer to part of the family as I walked past the garage and the mechanic who worked on my truck greeted me with a huge hello and a detailed explanation as to what went wrong with my truck. From everyone in the office to the people who worked on my truck they made me and my girlfriend feel right at home even though we were a long way from home home,,, thank you all !!!

Being an out of state customer, I took a car to be checked for various problems prior to a trip back to Pa. Noyes was very accommodating to me, diagnosed the issues and repaired them along with numerous phone calls, pictures of problems which I have never had done from a garage before and explanations of everything. I would highly recommend them .

I dont like spending money no one will ever get a 5 star. I appreciate the honesty of the place they did what i asked and no magic parts needed replacing. Staff was friendly. Online reviews were 5050 but any place where people will spends hundreds and hundreds of dollars will get that its a natural rraction to people loosing lots of money not the shops fault cars are expensive no matter what u drive. Mercedes owners are my fav dont buy a car u cant afford over 10 years old it will need work regularly sorry at least these guys arnt lying to u.

I have been taking my cars to Noyes for at least 20 years and have always found them to be courteous, fair, reliable, and professional. I appreciate the checklist Im given at each visit so that I know what problems may be ahead, and what the cost would be. Tires are priced competitively and include rotations.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. My car had a brake pad warning and the first place came to my mind was NOYES. I was their loyal customer since last year. They checked my car and told me that it was going to cost $575 ( labor, parts, tax) and won’t be done for at least 4-5 day’s. I contacted few other places and found out that they can fix it within 2 day’s with much less price. I contacted NOYES and told them that to leave the key inside my car and will come grab the car. The guy who I talked on the phone said that I owe $43.75 because they had to spend half and hr trying to figure out what the car needed (Maint. Cost). In the past 10 years I have never encountered paying a single penny to a auto shop for car diagnosis. I’m not allowing any of my family, friends, colleagues near to this place. Please stay away from this shop. Prices are high, waiting days are long. I bet they will start charging customer for the water some day. 😡😡😡😡😡

Got a state inspection done at Noyes they did a great job looking my truck over A+ definitely recommend them for all your service. I will definitely be back for any work I need done

I’ve had tires repaired and replaced twice at Noyes. Both times I felt the service was friendly, honest and really timely. Having a shuttle service is a great perk too - I encourage local folks to check them out.
