I am very happy with with Joe Velasquez service. I showed up and right away he attended me. He sat down and told me what was wrong with my 2006 GMC 3500, his price is very reasonable and affordable. I would recommend him to anyone anytime.

Best place to get your auto repaired hands down. Joe the owner is a great guy and very fair on his prices. Best shop in Skagit County. He does exceptional work at a very low price. He specializes in Transmission repair and has over 40 years in the Business.

Transmission service here was half the price of the shop I previously went to. When I asked about my other vehicle he looked it up said it was unnecessary under normal driving conditions as my Toyota has lifetime fluid. A nice contrast to some shops that constantly try to up sell you.

A better transmission? What transmission shop doesn’t replace speed sensors. So he only rebuilds half the transmission. What’s better about that?

Joe, ...and his team (?)Joe, rents the shop to the only other guy Juan Valdez.Emily, I wish you the best luck with your bargain job.Ive had it! (and so has my Chevy)First, they gave me back a pan with three stripped bolts that decimated my brothers brand new car port. Then Pedro OVER TIGHTENED IT AND SPLIT THE GASKET.... which had me back in the very next week. And...I have to warn you right now: Joe wont ever take any blame and will even TRY TO PUT IT ON YOU! ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING.(dont bother mentioning that bump when 2nd transitions to 3rd gear, thats normal in Chevy trucks)Wait a minute! Thats not the best part....5 months later, and my mechanic says that what sounds like a can being kicked down the street is actually the fly wheel bolts falling out! Joe said Oh, we dont tighten anything by specification here...we tighten everything by FEEL. (its all in the wrist?)OK, ARE YOU READY FOR THE BEST PART:$3, 500 AND A TWO YEAR WARRANTY, SO GUESS WHAT TIME IT IS?!!!Yup, two years right on the money. I didnt use this truck to tow a god damn thing... but good ol Joe says the torque converter is falling apart and clogging up the filters. This was no bargain job.Habla Espanol? Talk to the shop guy and maybe hell use American parts for you!

Im so regretting that I took my Suburban to this place. The people were nice and all, but they did horrible work. Took my 93 Suburban in because it was idling rough and was sluggish as soon as I put it in gear. They said I needed new distributor, plugs, etc, etc...all the typical stuff of a tuneup. Okay, fine, but I said that I think it might be something else. After they had some time with it, they called me back and said they fixed the engine roughness, but it also needed new tie-rods and recommended replacing the ball joints. Bottom line - they replaced the rotor, distributor, plugs, etc and replaced the tie-rods (not the ball joints)....and it STILL has the original problem of rough idling and sluggish in gear AND NOW has super sloppy steering and then they told me it now needs alignment, but they dont do that....they made my problem worse and they charged me over $1,990. Dont go there!!

What a Incompetent companyThe owner sure lives up to his name the people in the community have given him “crooked joe” he rebuilt a transmission for us multiple times and did it wrong every single time and wouldn’t own up to it in the end plus he wrecked our truck on a “test drive” dented the whole side of the truck also If that wasn’t enough we took the truck to him for the last time to give him a chance to fix it the truck has over a half tank of gas in it and when my mom picked it up to take it back to the dealership she barely made it to the gas station.
