It is one stop shopping. I can usually find what I need and the store layout is consistent at every Target. It is and was my go to store during the pandemic. I felt safe.

Always expensive (but better than Safeway) I bought packaged salads at Walmart for $1.99. Needed some fresh veggies and drove 1/4 mile to Giant and the exact same salads (same company) were $1.50 more.

The reasons b I gave one star is that after years and years shooing at this Giant I never seen a single smile in the faces of the associates . They are mad, sad, angry, watching people furiously … guys ! Be warm, be friendly .. especially you the police associates at the check out space !! People are not stealing at least 99.999% .. smile, say hi !

Noticed a few staff not wearing masks today - including one that seemed to be management. As the store still touts to be covid-safe with special hours for the imunocompromised and other so-called safe practices, it seemed really wierd. Not a kind of place I want to shop right now.👎👎👎

I’m having trouble understanding why, but it seems the cashiers at this location seem to believe they don’t need to be courteous, and that they are too good for that sort of thing. I just moved to the neighborhood and this store was an unfortunate rude awakening. Hopefully this is a isolated case.

Asian quisine could be more widely presented. The store is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

My regular grocery store. Go there all the time for prescriptions and groceries. They are used to me and my chair and help out a lot when I go there.

Love Giant, hate this store. Customer service stinks and they are always out of stuff I need. Go to the one near George Mason, that one is much better.

Was at the Burke Giant this morning at 6am bright and early. Yes, Rico was there in top form as usual! Friendly as ever! Great store! Great selections! (except for the nation-wide run on bath tissue)

Went shopping July 25, 2020. Announcements in store stating that employees and customers are required to wear masks. I saw 5 employees it wearing masks correctly, either below nose or on chin. All customers were complying but employees were not.

Very good selection of food. Customer Service could me more accommodating for a store with such a high end clientele and amount of revenue they generate from the same.

Love this shop where you can buy anything and has a wide selection of foreign foods.

I have been shopping here consistently - at least once a week - for a year. Yes the store is older but that is its only drawback. The prices are quite competitive and the selection is decent. The produce is great and in season. The meat is varied and fresh. Ive never seen out of date or expired food.I go almost every Monday morning. The staff is polite and present. I look forward to my visits as it is positive and quick. Im an in and out shopper, just buying whats on my list. This place is ideal for me and my familys needs.

A local store for food. Convent to where I live. Parking is free and plenty of parking.A good variety of choices. The shell gas program is a nice benefit.

Adequate. Typical Giant. Fairly modern. There just tends to be some variation in whats stocked. For example, my wife likes a particular soda (Diet Pepsi, Caffeine Free). Some Giants stock it. Some dont. This one has it occasionally, but not regularly. Theres also adequate parking.

Clean. Good, well stocked and varied selection. Kind, friendly, and helpful staff. Good prices, lots of sales, especially with the free loyalty card. Has an organic section. Also, has a public restroom, which is great for a parent like myself. This is my preferred grocery store in the area.

This Giant has EXCELLENT customer service on the phone. My husband called them to see if they had a certain tea that I drink and one of the workers went all around the store searching for it, found it and gave us the aisle number for when we arrived. The tea (Yerba Mate) was also better priced than Whole Foods and Harris Teeter. They have a great selection of gluten free products as well.Thank you very much for the assistance!

Nice store and very convenient location

I was at this store just now until this man(most likely a costumer) just went up to me and started yelling at me, his wife tried to stop him, but he just kept yelling, when I just wanted some icecream. He was angry because I was going the opposite direction of the arrow on the ground, but in all seriousness Im shopping I dont look at the ground. I like this place, but I just cannot go here if people just start telling at u, if u want icecream.

Getting a great renovation done. Always been a great and friendly food store. Now its more organized and looking great too!

Fairfax Burke. Easy to move, walmart and Starbucks are located nearby.

All the giants should be as neatly. Organized, clean and friendly as the one at Burke. Typically have several cashiers - which customers appreciate, and their produce at burke is better than most

This is a pretty neat place to shop actually. They have the automated scanner guns here which allow you to simply scan your items yourself before placing them in the cart. They automatically apply any coupons you have on your account to your items. When youre ready to checkout, you just use the scanner gun. No need to get stuff back out of the cart. Seriously, why dont all grocery stores do this?! Giant also has an app that lets you do this with your phone instead of the gun (but thats where we keep our grocery list). So easy and fast! Also, this place has a pretty respectable beer and wine selection.

Probably the worst Giant I have been to. Typically only have a few actual lines open, usually run by underage kids so it takes about 5 minutes for a manager to come check out your wine and beer.The checkout staff usually tries to make you bag your own stuff which, when you have kids isnt an option (thats the whole point of the checkout lines rather than self checkout).The produce is hit or miss, the meat selection isnt bad.The only reason to ever come here is for a quick pick up of something you forgot when you went to a better grocery store.If for whatever reason you absolutely have to go to a giant, go to the one closer to Mason

Its pretty much exactly the same as every other Giant grocery store. The one real complaint I have is the Deli section. The guy working it seemed nice, but was incredibly slow.

Not impressed with the bakery. Paid for a dinosaur cake and asked that they not put the toys on the cake (it’s easier to transport if the box can close all the way). Other bakeries have always just put the toppers in a bag with the cake.Received the cake with no toys at all and incredibly poorly done image transfer on top. The edible transfer didn’t even reach the edges... so there was like 2” of white space on the left and right. It looked ridiculous. Needless to say it didn’t look remotely like the picture on the website. I’ve ordered this exact cake from a different Giant and it was gorgeous.

Always clean and the staff is helpful and polite. They also have fresh fruit free for the little kids. It really helps make shopping easier.

Burke Giant is a safe staple for groceries... easy to get in and out

This is a nice giant, that is competing with some upscale groceries in the area. Sometimes they seem to try to save a little too much on produce, resulting in lower quality. Generally, however, they are pretty good.

The only reason why I keep shopping here is because the store is less than a mile from where I live, I could walk there if I wanted to.But the store is usually gross. The floors around the produce section are usually covered with dirt, fallen down fruits etc. You ALWAYS have to check the expiration date on EVERYTHING because I have found yogurt on the shelves that were several days old. Ive accidentally come home with bread or produce that was already moldy. I have contacted Giant on Facebook and they said they would have a talk with the store but that didnt seem to have happened. I am seriously considering finding another store even if it will be less convenient for me.The layout of this store doesnt make sense. You have your bakery stuff in one end and the bread in the opposite direction. They really want you to walk past every single thing on the way. I really hope they update to the new Giant layout soon that is much more convenient.AND PLEASE GET RID OF THE PEOPLE OUTSIDE ASKING ME FOR MONEY EVERY DAMN DAY! If I want to donate to charity I do research about them and then send them money directly. I am not going to donate to every single freaking charity outside the Giant store. Especially if they pretty much attack me as I exit the store. Thank you.

This is the best Giant! The friendliest staff and they have fun! It is most consistently well kept of all the Giants I have been in.

Went to the Burke Centre Giant around 3:PM today,Thursday . Very low amount of shoppers and very high amount of ALL paper goods!

They had what we were looking for and there was active restocking occurring. Better that last night where we couldnt get everything we were looking for at two different Giant stores.

The staff is very helpful but it is organised weirdly.

I prefer this over Safeway down the street. They seem to keep everything stocked. Safeway tends to be out of there sale items, especially meats.

The store in Burke is very consistent. Theyre consistently lazy, unprofessional and rude. A customer commented that she was too short to see the screen on the credit card machine to which the cashier replied you can tilt the screen down ya know. Twice recently I have asked an employee where to find something and they said uhhh, I dont know. The employees often look like they just woke up. I go there because its close to my house but I wont do it any longer. Giant has lost this customer. I wanted to give it zero stars but the system wont let you post until you click at least one star.

Large clean full service grocery store

Its just another box store. Nothing of personality or charm. Has what you need. Service was ok but you get what you pay for.

Fresh food, friendly costumer service, and well kept.

This is the grocery store that time forgot. Probably a great store if you happen to live in the third world but in a wealthy area such as Fairfax County no way. You will find dairy, meat, and vegetables consistently past the sell by date. Matter of fact you will find food that is off gray meat, moldy cheese, and dried up vegetables are common. The service is also atrocious. For example, the old cranky beared pharmacist manager is the absolute worst. If I could give this giant a 0 or call the health department on it I would for the numerous poisonings it has likely done over the past decade. This place is atrocious and probably should be razed. Every single time I go there it is a horrible, soul killing experience.

Giant has pretty good prices on most things and definitely covers the basics. My only complaint is the limited selection of international foods.
