I have had great experiences with this location. Today I went in to purchase a display desk that caught my fancy. This was the last one available and was reported to be out of stock online. I asked to purchase the display but was told it had to be returned to the manufacturer.Heres where the exceptional service kicks in....An older gentleman, very soft spoken and kind, took the time to look for the manufacturer so that I could purchase the desk from them. He then determined that Staples in Manassas still had 2 desks like it in stock and provided me the address and phone number.He then showed me chairs and other desks I could buy, recommending the L desk. I told him the L-style desk was really too large for my space, and voila! he showed me a smaller one that was perfect!By the time I looked at the smaller L desk, I no longer even wanted the display desk I had come in to purchase.I had already purchased a desk/chair from Amazon but wanted to check out the display desk one more time as it seemed so uniquely suited for my needs.I will wait for my Amazon purchase to come in -- if it doesnt meet expectations, I will definitely be back to buy the smaller L desk this amazing gentleman showed me.Amazing that this gentleman took the time to showcase me products, communicate value, and find the perfect solution for my needs! He was exceptionally knowledgeable and responsive! Thank you for this fabulous employee! I hope hes a manager -- if not, he should be! Talk about excellence in service and salesmanship!I did not buy only because I had purchased from Amazon but will be back -- I love the L desk. When timing/circumstances are right, I will buy it!I didnt get the gentlemans name, but wanted to thank him online! Exceptional service! A+

I am a reward customer with staples. However, when I came to this location, to do a binding work, I have always been told will take an hour even if Mona the supervisor is pretending to do work. When I drive up to the mall by Springfield, it is done immediately. That why staples are losing customers and not being profitable. Need a better management.

If you are on your way to Staples Copy & Print Center, turn around🙅🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️! The lady currently working, is EXTREMELY rude-- so rude, she referred customers to Kinkos! Here are some of her comments:- Cant you read?! Which she repeated multiple times.- I aint tryna catch a virus because you cant read!- Read the sign!What she didnt realize...The 2 people in which she was horribly assisting, were not native English speakers. The amount of disrespect, disregard and ignorance in which she displayed, broke my heart. So maam, if you read this review, reflect on this notion: Reading is probably a challenge for English language learners...Me: Is there a sign-- she angrily holds up the sign before I could finish my statement...Is there a sign out front BEFORE customers come in and waste their time?Her: No, they need to put one out front.Me: I agree! Because your attitude is from hell!Had I seen her name tag, I would definitely share...Im😤😤😤 my raying:-5

Absolutely flawless experience. On Xmas eve we’ve been out driving searching for somewhere that is printing photos, as we needed a last minute gift. Nowhere in the area even had photo paper. Called Staples and they said come on over, had six copies of our picture printed in 10 minutes. AND at no charge. Customer service was excellent, guy who works in photo dept deserves a raise and 5 star gourmet Christmas dinner. THANK YOU Staples for being so accommodating, convenient and friendly. Will be coming back for future prints 👍🏼

I went in today to get a few books Im studying for school binded. There was no one at the counter and one employee (she was maybe in her 30s or 40s) came and asked what I needed. I explained and she said I cant do it because we dont have the binding for it (Ive had many things binded like this at staples) when I went on to explain that Ive had this type of work done before at staples. She replied with a nasty attitude we dont have it I went on to tell her that she didnt have to give me attitude and I would try another staples.If you dont have a material in stock its fine but we all have enough stress. Dont be so nasty especially if you work helping customers.

The deal was mismarked or I misunderstood. I wasn’t rude. “Ooops. No problem, help me get it right?” The person at the register seemed to get mad at ME and quit speaking? I decided, “Just give me back my money, please?Life is too short for someone to refuse to speak or look at the customer. The manager said he would handle him because that’s the manager’s job. How do they handle rude or mad people? Yikes. It’s okay, I’ll go somewhere else.

Tried to make copies and went to two machines and they both proved out of order. Ask them to make the copies for me and they said it would be a lot more expensive (double). I talked to the manager and said I had already spent a lot of time trying to use their broken machines that they should make copies for me for the same price (good customer service?). They said they would not do that I should wait for another machine to free-up. I was a good rewards customer. Now, I will never go back. It made me so mad that I am writing a review.

Went to the one in Springfield earlier this afternoon. Was going to purchase the 128GB Flash Drive, so went over to the section where they were located. Noticed a sign advertising the 256 GB for only $11.99. I was ecstatic so bought two of them (there were four hanging in the plastic boxes). Went to the counter to pay for them plus a few other items and noticed that the first one came up as $70.89. I told the cashier the sign said $11.99 and she told me that they werent on sale. I told her thats what the sign says. She told me that only the 128 GB were on sale. I took them back and got two of the 128 GB (they also had a sale sign for $11.99. When I got back to the register, I told her that I would take those two. The first one came up as $19.95. I told her that the sign said $11.00. She showed me in the catalog where they were $19.95 and I told her thats not what the sign said. She told me that they were $19.95. Since there was a line of 3 or 4 waiting on me, I went ahead and paid for them. When I got to work, I called the manager at the Burke location and he kind of laughed about the whole situation, telling me that he would call over there to see that they were changed. First of all, every store that I have been to that had the wrong price posted, they gave it to me at the price that was showing. Needless to say, I wont be returning to Staples (have bought a laptop, printer and lots of paper from the). Will stick to Amazon because I wont mind waiting the two days I will receive my items.

A story I must share: So I call on to ask for a laptop on clearance, I had to wait to be transferred to the sales manager. I then got told to look on craigslist for decent laptops. Looks like the managers here get the deals first and post them on craigslist. Same specs! This is cool idea but I think Staples should have a policy on this and I hope they listen.

This place is the worst! When I visited this facility there was no one available on the floor to help answer some questions regarding monitors. Another issue I had was upon checking out the cashier was extremely unpleasant. I asked if Staples honors competitors coupons and she looked at me like this was the dumbest question I could ask. When I followed up by asking if Staples offers a military or student discount she again gave me a snarky look and a rude no. Finally, I recently called to ask about address printing on envelopes. I was on hold for 5 mins before someone answered who then put me on hold for another 5 mins to transfer to the copy/printing station. When someone did answer the phone, before I could even say hello she was yelling into the phone Helloooo?! Anyone there? Overall, although this location is convenient to my house I will never use their services again.

Staples copy center is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. They charge $2.19 PER PAGE to send a fax. 10 pages = $21.90, and on and on for a stupid fax.Of course, Staples knows that people who use their fax services frequently have time constraints, so they are being predatory.Do yourself a favor, avoid Staples copy center at all costs or you will be paying a BUNDLE of money.
