I couldnt be happier with the way my floors turned out. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The staff was beyond patient with me during the process. I definitely recommend them.

From day one of move in (they had an empty house to paint), I noticed my master bathroom wasnt full painted. My closet was prepped but not painted. Pantry closet was not painted. Attic door and trim not painted. Behind the refrigerator was not painted. Walls were not properly prepped- showing bubbles or large indents. Paint on doors was peeling off. Places needed an obvious second coat. I did have to ask the owner of the painting company to please remove outlet plates and light switch plates on day one of painting as they were being painted over (which is not only not what I wanted but also a safety hazard). Also, when asking other painting companies, this is something that happens without the customer requesting it. Door knobs were not properly covered (only the handle part, but it was not taped where doorknob meets the door). Then of course, the typical few touch-ups here and there, which normally isnt an issue and I would have gladly taken care of those but with everything else wrong, I was livid. Calling the owner, his words (which I have recorded): From day one, you complain. Not once did you thank us for the job we did. Instead, you say this is wrong, fix this. Im sorry, I did not realize you were doing me a favor and doing the work for free instead of being a business and getting paid for a job. Its now a month since the job has started and I have been in a constant fight with owner about when someone will come out. Ive had people come out 3 times now to fix the job. One of those times, two people came and patched up some walls and sat outside for 45 minutes waiting for it to dry so they could paint (when they could have been painting a number of other things that didnt require prep work) then immediately went on an hour and a half lunch. Then, two weeks later (after numerous unanswered emails and phone calls) someone was supposed to be out at 7am. I went to their showroom at 9am due to no one being at my house. I called off work for the work to be done today. They then promised me someone by 10am. Someone finally showed up at 10:50. The owner, who did apologize while I was standing in their showroom, later made the comment that I am not doing anything to help the situation and I am not being flexible with them. Im sorry, but you had an empty house to paint and its now been three weeks of constant emails and phone calls to get the right people out here to finish the job. They were responsive to me as a paying customer, now that I need them to fix what they started, it takes 3 emails and 3 phone calls to hear from anyone. They do not show up when they say they will. They need to start taking responsibility for the people they are sending out. If their workers are not doing the job to the companys standards, that is a company issue and should not be my issue. On top of all the other issues, the mess that was left behind was atrocious. Paint splatter on all fixtures in the bathrooms, old shoe molding from old hardwood floor (with nails) left outside on my deck where my kids and dog planned to play. I paid a lot of money for this job and I wanted it done right. Being a military spouse, we have to deal with a lot of companies and rely on reviews to get the right person for the job, so I hope this helps someone in the future.

Would definitely recommend Unique floor design center. We had them install tile flooring in our kitchen (we bought our tile bought from big box store). Jason and Steve were very responsive and helpful in setting up our installation. The installers were professional, arrived on time and worked from 7:30am to 8pm for three days straight and did a marvelous job, no complaints, very pleased. Use these people, you wont regret it !

We have had two separate projects with Unique Floor Design Center and both have been great! The first involved replacing the living room, dining room, and foyer floors. The second project required a lot more effort inreplacing our kitchen and bathroom floor (which required removing 6 layers of previous flooring. Both of the sales reps on both projects were very knowledgeable regarding the available products they have and had great suggestions to meet our needs. The flooring teams were also excellent in making the final outcomes great for us. They kept us informed of their progress, did a great job in keeping the mess at bay, and delivered a great looking result! Also, the prices for both jobs were fantastic! I will definitely retain their services again in the future (I definitely have more work for them to do)!

We had delayed in finishing our basement for many years because we had several poor experiences with contractors over the years. When I finally decided to talk to peyman, I immediately felt that they took my concerns seriously and were willing to meet my expectations. Throughout the entire process, we were kept well informed. The project was completed on time, if not a few days early. They were at my house every day, working full days to complete the project in as little time and disruption as possible. They always went above and beyond to complete the project in ways that took into consideration what is nicer and better, rather than just getting done. They often knew what we would want better than we did, and would make the recommendations. Our basement has been completed, and is so much better than we had hoped, and the experience was perfect! Although Abbey may not have been the cheapest option out there, I will definitely use them again for all the reasons stated above

I decided to go with Unique Floor Design Center for a few reasons. The reviews on Houzz, Angies List & Yelp were better then any other company that serviced my area. The professionalism from the first phone call was great. Their price was several hundred dollars less then the 3 other quotes I received for the exact carpet. Lucas & his coworker installed the carpet efficiently and both we very accommodating to my crazy dog. I will have them come back out to sand & finish my floors early this fall. A great company from top to bottom!

Unique Floor did a superb job installing my hardwood floors. Everything from ordering, installation, and payment went very smoothly. Suzie was very helpful in answering any questions I had and in selecting the hardwood. The price was very fair and the quality of installation was great. I love my new floors and highly recommend Unique Floor!

I went to Unique Floor Design to take out my carpet and put down flooring. Two months after paying to get my flooring done, there is trim completing pulling off just from walking on it regularly. I literally had to super glue it down but it keeps pulling up every couple days. I showed a picture to Home Depot since I will need to pay to get it fixed and they said it looked like a cob job. It is really a headache to have problems with your brand new flooring. I would not recommend Unique Floor Design Center it was not a good experience and has been very time consuming to now try and get my brand new floor fixed.

This has got to be the worst and most unorganized company I have ever worked with. They started off the project with trying to blame the owners for all the mistakes they made. Then they charged the final bill before they confirmed the work was complete and to the owners liking ( it was not: their were a lot of areas that needed to be fixed; they eventually came back and fixed them). Though dealing with the admin and owner was very painful, they work of the people laying the hardwood down was very good for the price. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The price was not bad, but you get what you pay for.

After a ton of research on carpet stores and installers, we finally decide on Unique Floor Design Center and Im very happy that we did. Suzie was wonderful to work with. She answered all our crazy questions ( Always with a smile) and kept in contact with us thoughtout the entire process. She even call the day of the installation to make sure we were happy. (The Installers assigned to us) Were very professional and efficient. WE WOULD DEFINITELY WORK WITH SUZIE AND UNIQUE FLOOR DESIGN CENTER AGAIN!!!

Found this company through the Houzz app, and I am really pleased with the final results that they delivered. I initially contacted them to refinish all of the wood floors in a new home (over 1000 sqmft of flooring), but the scope of their work expanded to installing vinyl plank when one area of our house experienced a water issue. They adjusted to our needs, and never took advantage of us in terms of pricing. My primary contact was Suzie, and she was an absolute dream to work with. I will definitely make contact with them again when I move on to our next flooring project.

I had UFDC remodel 2 of my bathrooms with tile that looked like hardwood. I am very happy with the final installation, they installed the Ditra-heat for me on the larger master bath and we couldnt be happier. There electrician took great measures so the thermostat worked accordingly and out of reach from our children. We had never done any type of remodel before so we did not now what to expect. After getting estimates from 6 different companies their pricing and attention to every detail made us go with them. I would use Unique on any of my future projects. Suzie and staff took great measures to keep up with all details and easy to reach at any time, while Jamal and installers were in my house.

We worked with Steven, who came to our home to measure and show us hardwood options. Their pricing for materials and labor crushed everyone we had brought out prior, including (hidden charge laden) big box and national flooring-specific companies and made a project we were beginning to lose hope in very much possible. The installation crew was nothing short of fantastic, finishing the main floor of our townhome in a single day (carpet removal and hardwood installation). Ive never been witness to a harder working crew and the end-result of their work is beautiful. Transformative. THANK YOU! Were looking forward to tackling our up and downstairs with Unique Floor Design Center. HIGHEST possible recommendation!!!

I cannot express how grateful i am with this company for their flexibility and all the hard work they put in to my project. We had to install new hardwood floors and Carpet, it was suppose to be a couple of days, when pulling up the carpet there was moldy plywood and in very bad conditions. We new we would be confronted with issues on a fixer upper, we had no idea we would have start from the framing of the house. Unique Floor Design Center gave us different solutions to our issues and work with all the pricing on all the additional labor.We have brand new Hardwood floors and no screeching!! On the 2nd Level we chose carpet, Peyman suggested we use Smart Strand Silk because of the durability, being that we have two cats and our first born we needed soft carpet for his comfort, i am glad we listened. Oscar and his crew did and amazing job for the hardwood & Genaro for the carpet screwing down all the annoying areas that screeched on my 2nd floor. We already decided for our next project in painting they are the right company to go to!We highly recommend UFDC for any remodeling job, great pricing and great customer experience starting with our estimator Peyman to the installers.

TERRIBLE experience. Unprofessional, disorganized, dishonest. This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a contractor.They didnt show up for the initial estimate (to get some tile work done in my kitchen and bathroom). When I called they claimed they had me down for the following day. Thats wasnt what was communicated, but whatever. They sent someone later the same day and I didnt think anything of it and decided to go with them due to the reviews I saw being mostly favorable and the price being reasonable.I took off work on the day the work was scheduled so that I could be here while the workers were here. They didnt show up at the scheduled time. I called the management office in Burke to find out what happened and the office manager claims that the driver got in an accident on the way over and the car had to be towed. They rescheduled for the same time the following day.Next day comes and they are another no-call, no-show. I called the office again and office manager claims that they were assured the work vehicle would be out of the shop by that morning to make the appointment, but it was still in the shop. This does not sound credible to me. Ive never heard of a vehicle that was in an accident so bad that it was undriveable being repaired in less than one business day, especially when dealing with insurance and things like that. You can be the judge of that but I think they probably double-booked and were just coming up with a story to mitigate their responsibility so that they could still charge me in full.They rescheduled again with me for a third day and AGAIN they were a no-call, no-show in the morning if you can believe that! Three days in a row. I was able to get on the phone with the owner and he finally got someone over there in the afternoon after I was GUARANTEED that the work would be completed that day.They finally got the work done over a two day period over the weekend after I went through all this. Most unprofessional, disorganized experience Ive ever had getting home improvements done. The owner and the office manager refuse to take responsibility for anything that happened. Im self-employed and lost hundreds of dollars having to rework my schedule multiple times trying to accommodate this mess. All they were willing to do for me at the end is offer a $100 refund, which I still havent seen 10 days later (was told 3-5 business days). This just shows you what their guarantees and my extreme inconvenience is worth.The tile installation was fine. The workers did forget to hook up my washer/dryer after moving it back in place and had to come back for that, but considering what I had to deal with just to get the them to show up, this was not a huge deal.Dont use this company. They cannot be trusted. Four times I had appointments scheduled and four times they no-showed, without so much as a courtesy call. Worst of all, they refuse to take responsibility for anything that occurred.

We replaced the carpets on the second level of our house with hardwoods via Unique Floors. Our experience was very positive and we are quite happy with the job they performed. Ive been in contact with Jason and Steven to plan for the job. They are both responsive and dedicated professionals. The job took 1.5 days in total. Luis and Eduardo did great job on the floors. They had very polite manners with great flooring skills.After the first project was done, we had a second project with UF for our main level area. This time existing engr hardwood got replaced with solid hardwood and porcelain tiles. Similar to the first job, they did an excellent work and provided dedicated customer service during the entire process. In addition to the folks mentioned in the first job, Peyman got involved in cases where critical decision making was needed.We recommend UF to anyone needing flooring needs.Very trustworthy and skillful folks!
