Nice store! Much bigger than most H marts and looks quite new. Easy to find stuff, not as cluttered as some of the older, smaller H marts.

Hmart in Burke is as excellent Asian grocery store. The produce is generally high quality and fresher than most of the local grocery stores. The meats, frozen and fresh, are good quality. The fish is generally whole, and you need to know what youre looking for when you buy it, but its usually good quality as well. Most products have limited English on the packaging, so be prepared and know what youre looking for.

It is a grocery store and meets expectations for such. Beyond expectations it typically has some of the best produce at best prices in area. Over the years it’s selection seems to have become more limited, but still varied and plenty. It has a nice cafe with tasty Korean food to ear-in, take-away, or prepared and packaged. It has a fresh fish counter, but that quality has declined from a 5 to about a 3, 3.5. H Mart is clean, most staff pleasant and helpful. We shop here regularly. Thank you for considering this review. This is an absolutely fantastic Asian grocery store. If youre looking for Asian cooking ingredients you can most likely find it here. In addition, if its seafood related - they definitely have it. Theyve got stuff you cant normally find in other grocery stores like mackerel and thinly sliced steak for bulgogi.Not going to lie, as a white guy Im usually lost and have no idea what Im looking at in here. For example, there are about 20+ brands of soy sauce. But it is a lot of fun shopping here and trying out new things every week. I highly recommend this place.

Felt as if I were shopping at Home+plus. I love this place. You gotta plan a grocery trip and stay for lunch there. The Jjamppang took me back to Daegu.

Great all around Korean specialty grocery store. Although majority of their products are Korean, you can still find other Asian, Indian, and Latin brands as well. Prices are comparable to Lotte which just down Braddock Road. They have a Ktown Food court which serves Authentic Korean Food for Everyone. They even have a bakery that bakes fresh daily and where you can get coffee and/or bubble tea, if you prefer.

Really fresh, locally sourced vegetables and fruits. The only fish market in the area that doesnt smell like everything is rotting. Good stock of Asian groceries, not too much from SE Asian or Hispanic foods. Good bakery and outstanding restaurant, and pretty much all the workers are good, well mannered people

One of the larger Asian grocery stores in the area, this one has a little cafe and a restaurant in the back. It is clean and well kept, has a lot of variety in fresh produce, and the restaurants food smells absolutely delicious. If I didnt live as far away from this H mart, Id probably make it my main grocery store.

I love love love this H-mart. Good Prices for snacks and things. You can always find and try something new and this there is a café. They sell bubble tea and other sweet treats.

This is one of my favorites Asian foods market. They have a large selection of chinese, Korean and Japanese products as well as affordable prices. This location has a food court with a variety of Korean dishes. Very, very delicious.

Good place to pick up beer if youre looking to try some new brands.

Huge seafood department including live animals, frozen, whole dead fish and filets. Filets sit on and under ice, making for somewhat water logged fresh seafood. If you dont read Korean, you might not know what about half the inventory actually is. A large % is dried anchovies, in a variety of sizes.

I bought a whole jackfruit on Saturday 5/30. It was yellowish and still hard at the time. I expected it would take a week before it ripened. But the fruit started becoming so bad after only 3 days. I have no idea what people did to the jackfruit that made it look so good and then it got so rotten in such a short time. I brought it back to the store today 6/3 but because I didn’t have my receipt, the customer service and produce manager on duty refused to do anything for me. I left the jackfruit there for them and walked out.If you are a Burke local and a fan of jackfruits, think twice before you pick up a nice-looking one at Hmart. The look is very deceiving at this place.

My son had shopped there and bought the best cut-up watermelon which was so sweet. I have found another place I will love to shop. This store has unique items for the home.

The quality of the produce here is always great and the prices usually beat Safeway, Giant, and Food Lion. For everyday American fare (ie hot dogs, sandwich meat, and milk)this is not the place pricewise. The meat quality and pricing are great as well. There are also small restaurants and shops in the back as well. Overall I shop here regularly because I buy a lot of produce, meat and spices and it has the best pricing on average.

Everything is good! Fresh vegetables and fruits! But no vegetarian kimchi! Another Hmart has this vegetarian kimchi except for Hmart Burke.

Not your mothers HMart! This location has received a major facelift and has a cafe and Korean bistro. I like the wide selection of vegetables and herbs, which are reasonably priced. (They used to be a bit cheaper, however.) E.g. Giant and Costco did not have spaghetti squash or yellow squash; but HMart did. They didnt have arrowroot powder or coconut flour, though the same is true for Giant, Costco, etc. Overall, great on produce!

The Chinese cashier named mei shu who is an old Asian lady was very rude. She does not even speak any English. I’m not sure how a Chinese got hired in that store. Should be fired. No manners at all.

So lucky to have this HMART in Burke. The meat prices are better than the local walmarts and giants for sure! Plenty of spots to try some samples of their food. Their store is always clean and orderly. They even have a rewards system so you get $10 coupons based on your store loyalty at least once a month.

I recommend coming here for cheap $1 quick sale bag of bananas. They always have them when I go.The cafe/bakery in the back looks rather good as well.

This grocery store was so much more, and better than I had imagined. We thoroughly enjoyed going aisle to aisle, and finding everything we needed but discovering many new favorite culinary treasures.

As others have said, great fresh fish and produce selection. We basically dont go anywhere else for fish. The cafe in the back is great, large portions and very tasty. Approximately 5000 varieties of ramen noodles and many other items you wont find at Giant.

This place has a restaurant and a bakery, just two more reasons to make a trip!

We are beginning to explore Asian quisines, and H-Mart is a great resource for condiments, cooking supplies, dumplings, noodles, and produce.

They have what I want.

I love this place! The produce is always fresh. There is a large variety. The aisles are filled with selections from all over the world. I wander up and down each aisle finding treasures to try, and old favorites. I like the frozen food section, as I can find an array of dumplings, and other treats. The bakery is superb. The cake rolls with coffee cream filling are wonderful. They have macarons, breads, buns, and cookies too. It is just the most fun place to shop. Everyone is so friendly and helpful too.

We got there @ 8:30 am to avoid crowds. Some of their produces are higher prices than Giant grocery but we need Asian vegetables and Asian specific meat so we have to go there. Also, other Asian markets would be much more crowded and the aisles would be narrower. During this frightening time this store is a better choice for Asian specific foods.

Fresh cheap produce, lots of asian groceries. They have a bakery and Korean eatery in the back of the store. Store is very clean as well.

I prefer this hmart the most. Its always clean and well organized. Although, they mark up some stuff that you can get cheaper at Global in Woodbridge, but Global is always not very tidy and questionable unclean and the employees are rude.

What can I say? Korean people cant live without Korean grocery market. I especially like this location because its closest to where I live and they have everything I need to cook any korean foods that I like.Just my two cents, I like to go there just about 2 hours before the store closes because you can get some ready-to-eat foods and bakery at half price! Limited quantity though.

Becareful when you ask for there sugestion. When I ask for fresh kimchi, they suggested older one.

This store has a wide variety of Asian food ingredients, which are mostly Korean products. There are some products from Southeast Asian countries, Japan, and India. The produce, poultry, meats, and seafood are also pretty good. There is a small Korean restaurant and cafe inside as well.

The h mart is very neat and organized as well . Costumer services is good.

I love Hmart but the lady at the beauty section was rude today. I put 3 face masks in my cart so I could pay for my things later once I was done shopping in the market and she rudely said to me that the masks werent free. I said I know and thats why they were in my cart so I could pay later. The lady ignored me and was silent and then said rudely that I had to pay there. That was fine. She then told me she had a $10 minimum for card payments. That was a lie because my daughter had placed a face mask down without me knowing and the payment came to over $7 when originally I only had 3 of the $1 masks. The lady said she could take my payment. I paid to get out of there but that lady shouldnt work there since she has no idea how to talk to people.

I think the food is good but would appreciate it if the women making sample foods would offer it or smile to the English speaking customers. I understand that some do not speak English but they could smile and show that they are offering a sample. A smile goes a long way - International language. They only offer to people that speak their language. And, those people probably know the sample foods. Americans are the one that need to be educated on the new products.

My local go-to grocery store. Great produce options, unique Korean choices, marinaded meats and quality seafood. My sons favorite part is the samples handed out throughout the store most weekend days!

Definitely one of the better Hmarts around the area. Possibly cause its one of the newest. But I think the item selection is great. Its nice and clean . Produce always seems pretty fresh.

This is the best Asian market hands down. I buy ALL my produce from H Mart. Seriously you cannot beat the produce prices or freshness. Anything I buy at H Mart lasts at least a week in the fridge if not two. This is big....the produce DOES NOT rot before you can use it during the week. No other grocery store in the area can do this. The regular grocery items are a bit pricey, but the Asian items are reasonably priced with great selection.

Standard NoVA H Mart. Great (and random!) variety of groceries for an incredible price. If you want fresh seafood but dont want to drive all the way to SW, an H Mart is definitely the place to get it! Also a great assortment of Asian and American beer and wine. Service is pretty much non-existent in the store, do NOT come here if thats what you expect. The restaurant has better service, and the food is delicious, albeit a bit pricey for whats basically a cafeteria.

I personally find this place good simply because its not too far from my home and has a very average size of a Korean grocery store. Not very crowded but not too quiet. Just a typical Nova Hmart.
