Ok, I normally love the Dollar Generals. Im a person that can feel atmosphere whether good or off. In fact I shop where I feel comfortable, welcome and can find what I need. I just dont feel comfortable shopping in Burks Dollar General but not sure why. Just an uneasy feeling tension in the air when I go there. They have what I look for but I prefer the Family Dollar down the street for the welcome response and relaxed atmosphere there.

I am thankful for this store. I hope the owners know how hard these folks work. The multi tasking these employees do is pretty incredible. From stocking, to cleaning, to being a checker. I sincerely appreciate them and their hard work! Thank you ❤️

Well its always nice to have a place to get in and out really quick and not spend an arm and a leg. Also the place has cleaned up quite a bit from years back. Lastly the employees are usually always nice and always greet you in the way in.

I was very upset with the man who walked my friend and I around and said we were moving items. We both had multiple items to purchase and ended up leaving due to the unprofessional behavior of that employee. The one out of place item was already in the wrong location when he accused us of putting it on the shelf. I am glad I do not live in that town because I would definitely have found or waited for management to report him. He also had bad body odor and clearly seeking conflict. Shame on the people/person who hired and poorly trained this terrible employee. I am disappointed, angered and disgusted with that employee and the entire Dollar General corporation. My rating on this location is less than 1 star.

The store is filthy it smells and there is merchandise on the floor everywhere!

Good prices but almost never has anything in the right place on the shelf

This store has been a complete mess for months! Cant find anything. Not carrying as many necessities just more and more non essentials.

I had to stop by here quickly to pick up a few things. the staff here was super friendly and had us in and out in a jiffy.

Was turned away cause i used a 100$ bill to pay for an item. Her reason was it was too early. The two girls working were eating chips. And told me it was too early. Bad store all around ecperience.

I shopped in DG this week and was amazed at the difference of the looks of the store. No more crate blocking the isles and all but one shelf was very neat. Not perfect but well on its way. Keep up the good work because l like shopping at DG. Oh, and the cashier was very friendly and helpful. Ill rate it a 4 star for right now because of the great improvement but a 5 star is very close

Always my go to if I dont have time to go to Wal Mart. Slow service sometimes if employees are stocking, but always hospitable.

The staff are always so nice and patient with my stepson.

Awesome variety of items, and good prices. I can always find something to buy there!!

Ringing up my items when the shelf says one thing and they want me to pay another or they forget to use my paper coupon for $5.00 off and total it and tell me they cant and wont fix it cause they have to do it all over again. Not my problem its theirs. Its really frustrating.

Lots of things out of place and not very organized. Some things are hard to find but the convince is good. Usually only 1 person working the register though so it makes business slow.

They have a good variety of things to shop for.

We are in the threshold of a second pandemic and sheep (people I guess) are walking around with no masks on and not a care in the world. Guidance on the entrance says to wear masks. No one enforcing. Is this like that movie where there is no law and you make up the rules as you go?

Pulled in at 7:42 a.m this morning on Oct 22, and its completely dark, all lights are off and doors locked. Nobody inside but store opens at 7 a.m every day! Very irritated this morning. Guess United will get my money this morning instead.

Dirty, little lighting and stock all over the place. Crowded and the cashier talked to an old friend the entire time I was checking out.

The most convenient place in town to pick up a few necessities, but they are often out of the items we buy most frequently. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful.

Terrible experience! Card machine would not work after multiple tries. Had to leave purchases there. My bank contacted me concerned this was possible fraud. A lot of wasted time and energy.

Slow cashiers

This place is super dirty there is merchandise all over the place. Employees are not friendly at all. They have RATS in the store, I had to use the rest room and there were 3 rats on a trap in the back room. Can you say the health department needs to shut them down. Out dated food on the shelfs. I will not return to this store.

I have been disappointed by my last few visits here. It is getting dirtier and they havent had the simple items I have needed.

Only thang is I had to wear shoes. Sad face. Lol

Worst ever!! One cashier and two were standing around while one customer was being checked out for over 30 minutes! ! People were leaving and I almost did but needed my groceries too bad! Still very nasty. Wont go back and will spread the word!

Depending on where you go dollar general down here are all over the place a mess😬 but they are trying to step their game up.

Back to merchandise all over everywhere even on the floor. A real hazard with clothes etc. on the floor. Seems unsafe to me.

My visit was okay however, since this store closed down and reopened the prices have gone up and the selection they had previously is just not the same. For these reasons I have been going to the family dollar more so lately.
