I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is genuinely awful. I rented a storage unit from them over the summer and the experience was bad from the beginning, which frankly I should have taken the hint about. From the day i tried moving stuff in to my unit, the locks on the unit would not come off, making the intended unit ineligible. From there, we tried 2 other units, both of which either wouldnt open, or actually were owned by someone. When i finally did get my unit, they did not have a lock for it. I had to ask continuously each time I came to get them to put a real lock on. The first day I was there, an employee told me that they used to get broken in to all of the time, which red flag #2, but that they had secure locks and a fence and security cameras. Well I had the unit there, and in September, my unit was broken into. The called me and told me, and said there wasnt any damage, which I trusted. When I came to move my stuff out 2 weeks later, it was completely ransacked and destroyed. Turns out, that the fence they had up as well as the security cameras just so happen were not working at this time either. When I cam back to file a police report, the manager inserted herself in the situation, and spoke over me as if it was a personal matter to her. Along with this, she informed the police officer that there were actually 2 different break ins, the second one coming because they neglected to lock the lock again after the first one, and that the damage came from the second one. Wish she would have told me that, since you know, it was my unit and was important. There was also a police report for the first one, but not the second break in, even thought they told me there was no police report at all, and neglected to tell me about the 2nd break in the whole time I was there moving out. This place does not give refunds regardless of situation, and getting insurance money back from them is even harder. Just dont do it.

Had a scheduled pick up for 3:45pm showed up on the dot and the truck was not available, they said they will call the customer and find out what’s going on… said they would have it back at 5pm. I over heard them say they would charge the customer $50 for a late fee. They offered me a smaller truck..I said I could have picked up a smaller truck closer to my house and that’s I drove out here for a reason.. I wanted the 20ft truck for one trip.I asked for a reduced price since I wasted my time driving up here and will have to pay more per mile for the trip since I could have picked up the same truck by my house, they said they could offer me $29.99 I laughed because that’s the price for the 15ft truck anyway..Uhaul has become a joke..Amazon please make a truck rental company..@amazon ideas for the future.Update:I spoke to 1800-go-uhaul they said they were suppose to offer me $50 for my reservation.No a peep from the staff members

Poor customer service and rude. The most grungiest dressed for such a professional position look like both representatives were drug addicts or just rolled up out of bed without brushing their teeth. I will never use this location again. This location also should be considered for closing or change in management. Hey I used to work there Ill ever train them for you at no charge. I want no one else to be treated in such a manner .. corporate was blamed for the inconvenience so this will be reported to them as well. Try any location other than this one if you want to be treated with respect .

We made a reservation online, and they didn’t have the truck when we came to pick it up. Uhaul gives a $50 guarantee if the truck isn’t available, but we weren’t able to get that because the manager wasn’t there and wouldn’t be back for 2 days. What a waste of time.

Nice enough staff, truck was ready when I arrived but not swept out.I did not order a hand truck but, if youve rented a truck in recent years, youve noticed they have a hand truck and pads in the box which they charge you for if you break their little zip tie.I suspect they have a scam going as the hand truck was not secured with the clamp and when it shifted during the drive it snapped the zip tie and they charged me for a thing I did not order or use.Double check the hand truck is secure during check out if you dont plan on using it.

The manager at this location needs better training, very unprofessional and deceptive! My card was overcharged additional days, we discovered it was by an employee working at the location. Rather than take accountability, this location stopped communicating with me? I had to go through my bank to dispute the charges. Very poor and should’ve been handled differently

Could use better customer service. Was helped by a new supervisor on her first day, said she was flustard and did not complete our order due to not cross referencing the reservation on print and the full online order with items purchased. She proceeded to keep blaming everything and everyone else other than herself instead of double checking a data issue she knew of with U-haul. Not amazingly customer friendly, but we got our truck rented and got out when done.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, I buy my shipping supplies from them and they’re always wonderful and willing to order extra from me.

The manager of this location does not care about the law or the health or wellness of her employees or customers. A woman without a mask entered after me. Despite being asked multiple times to put on a mask by the polite employee behind the counter, this rule was overridden by the manager after the maskless woman demanded to speak to a manager. If you’re looking to avoid covid and/or people who do not care about the lives of others, avoid this location.

Juan was super friendly and helpful! I thought I had left my keys in the rental truck over a week ago. He didn’t give up, he went and looked for them which I really appreciate. It’s not everyday that you experience such exemplary customer service. People like Juan have a significant and positive affect on customer retention rates! There are so many uhaul rental agencies in the area, but I’ll be sure to choose this location for my future rentals. THANK YOU JUAN!

Location? The clerk tried to tell me that it was at least 100 miles from the location to tacoma🙄 then the charge was supposed to be $115 returned truck last night, as I was told it had to be back by 7am. Then I see another $78 charge. Now they wont answer the phone. I returned the truck with more gas then when I recieved it. I will never use uhaul again and am reporting the second charge as fraud.

Booked a 10 truck online for 12pm for 7 hours. Arrived a little after 12pm on the day of the reservation and the employee told us that they didnt have any 10 trucks available, and wouldnt have any available until close to 3pm but he could give me a smaller vehicle. He said we shouldnt have booked it online, and should have called instead but didnt offer any solution or refund and we had to push for him to call a different location to see if they had the size we needed. Very poor service and disorganized.

I had a great experience with this outfit. I was served by Shaun who explained all my options and had me in a van just minutes after walking out the door. Jenny was very friendly as well and check in was never easier. Although I drove the van 39 miles the needle didnt budge but I put a couple gallons in for the next guy.I had minimal contact with Randy but he seemed professional and very good at what he does. They reminded me of stuff like covers for my mattress and a few other things I was glad I purchased. My female companion said the rest room was literally the cleanest and nicest in Burien, practically anywhere. She couldnt believe it.The van ran perfect, was just the right size for the job. So Randy, Jenny, and Shaun.......Two big Thumps up. Great job. Thanks for making my move easier. I will refer customers and will definitely be back myself.Shawn

Nathan helped me with getting a truck for a quick day worth move locally, went straight to the point on explaining everything, trucks are meh but of course they go thru all types of people. Overall satisfied

First truck I got was leaking fuel. I took it back and it seemed like they’ve had these problems before and they gave me a new one—- only problem was I was on a strict time limit and I missed my timeframe so I ended up keeping the truck all evening to make my ends meet. The people that work here are helpful and nice, their equipment however is old and worn down including trucks. The seccond truck I got had open equipment in the back but I left a note on my experience and they didn’t charge me. Overall great customer service but the equipment was poorly kept/ cleaned.

I went in for an appointment today to install a tow hitch. The two guys behind the counter didnt know what was going on & proceed to tell me their manager isnt in & call him. The manager didnt know I had an appointment, then walked the employee through how to cancel it while I stood there for 20 min. They blamed it on a machine used to drill holes in my vehicle being broken but clearly the manager was too tired to come into work & his two employees were too high to open their eyes. I dont know how this place isnt closed....

I made a 7am pickup appointment the afternoon prior specifically so someone would be there to help when I arrived at 7:10 the next morning as I had to be in north Seattle no later than 8am. I waited for a few minutes, called the store number, walked into the back office, checked their storage building to the south, then wandered around the property until I finally found someone.There was a younger gal with a clipboard and a late-middle aged woman chilling, smoking a cigarette. The young lady was apologetic and polite, and I snapped at her a little bit, but when she was processing my order, the older lady was overseeing everything she did. I felt bad for blaming the new person, clearly the older lady was at fault for not realizing someone needed to be in the office or answering the phone. THEN when I returned the older lady got sassy with me! She is pretty terrible at her job, I am only giving an extra star because the younger lady was very professional despite being new and I really hope I didnt ruin her day.

This is the worse uhaul I have been too. They are disorganized and rude staff. We had a reservation for 9:30am, arrived at 9:15. There were 6 people in front of us which took over 90 minutes to get through. We finally got up and they didn’t have any 10ft trucks left (even though I reserved it ahead of time). We are still in line here ...

Theyll tell you they have whatever you need for storage, right up until youre actually there and have to settle for what theyve got. Its not just this location; Im guessing its U-Haul corporate policy.Did I mention that they go by cubic feet and the storage bins are over ten feet high? If youre their customer, I hope you can stack your stuff that high without causing crush damage! I know I cant; cardboard boxes and furniture can only bear so much weight. Of course, I could always rent another storage bin for a fee, or just throw out whatever got on the truck but not in the bin or - and this cost me a little money up front but saved me money over time - I could tell them to keep the free months rental and go find an honest storage facility.

Great service and staff. Definitely will refer them to others. Only issue was having step stool or ladders for those shorter in height to drive the trucks when you rent them.

I rent trucks for my business more than 20 times a year from various UHaul locations. This location has well trained, friendly staff, clean and updated trucks and efficient check in check out times.

These people have THE worst customer service! I love U-haul but this location is not worth your time & money. They are just flat out disrespectful & VERY unprofessional! I highly recommend anyone considering this location TO NOT go there. Find another U-Haul location even if it’s a few miles away from here.

These guys are great! Shaun Patat was a pleasure to deal with after we ran over a nail on the way to return it...rolling in flat they were still happy to see us and too great care of us! Thank you, and the dark haired gal also, you rock!

5 Stars for the people, 3 because of Corporate Policy. I have a brand new certified figerglass propane tank. It meets all requirements for refilling, but U Haul corporate policy says no fiberglass refill.On the flip side I have a new Worthington steel tank and it would not take a fill, the float must have been stuck in the up position the two attendants tried multiple times, finally one of them got it to work.

This is the most disgusting uhaul facility on the planet. Uhaul should be ashamed to have their name on this establishment. Dont get storage here or else you will have to park a mile a way to get your belongings because they dont understand what storage means. They shouldnt even be allowed to have storage here. Put this establishment under and remove it please.

Employees gave poor customer service until we were about to leave. They were far less efficient than they could have been and continuously prioritized side-tasks (like taking some test on a computer??) over serving their customers. Didnt care about inspecting the truck on the way out and then went over it with a fine toothed comb on the way back in. Very unprofessional.

Mixed emotions on this agency. I request Uhauls all around the United states over any other rental agency. I have them set up through my corporate office and have never been denied a receipt. A new thing with this place, I had a link sent to my phone that showed a picture of all angles, damages on the truck and had to push accept or deny . You cant zoom in enough to see damages. They also dont show pics of the inside to show if its clean or has the dolly in it. I can understand trying to shorten the process but sometimes a human is better for communication. I will still continue using Uhaul as my personal choice but not at this Location.

Nice staff, quick service, BUT! They made us return the vehicle to this exact location, which was very inconvenient. My reservation online was to let us return it elsewhere but they completely ignored that. It was something about them personally owning that specific vehicle and whatnot. It all seemed very sketchy. Needless to say, it added about 40 miles to our trip and that equated to moving cost increase by more than $50.

Worst customer service ever!!! A black lady with tattoos, she is very lazy and rude. I dont know how she still got a job there. Please avoid yourself a headache and dont go to this place until management improve their employees skills. This place do not deserve a single start in this review.

The worst service imaginable. If I could leave zero stars I would. UHaul switched my pickup location without notifying me. When I arrived at Burien I was told I didn’t have a pickup here, even though I showed my Burien confirmation. The size of the truck (aka the price changed) was changed on me, and the location the Burien attendant told me to go to hasn’t been a UHaul in 2 months. If you still plan on using UHaul, don’t go to Burien.

Without going in to great detail, they screwed up my hitch order and installation 3 times. Cancelled the order and went elsewhere.

Awful customer service. Only go here if its your last resort. The girl that works there has an attitude and talks down to customers.

They dont teach their employees how to use the propane refill station.

Watch the overcharges. They added a cleaning fee, they said the cab was muddy. Where do you get mud on a sunny day? And last time I checked running water on Mats is regular maintenance.

They were very rude I was early there and waited for the workers but when the workers got there they told me the store was closed but it was actually opend and told me they couldnt attend us and so we left but then somebody else came in and the workers attended them also the store was very dirty.😷😡

Used self service online pickup but when got there had to wait in line anyway.. only one worker customers waiting backed up in line. Must hire more workers.
