And now I know why they have a 2.8 rating on google. Will never shop here again. I ordered online to do a store pickup. 13 items. Instead of even contacting me to say they dont have the items they decided to just let me order sit and not tell me anything. So when I sent my friend to pick it up four hours later they tell me they havent even accepted my order cause half the items are not in their inventory. I called to the store 4 times and no one answered. Finally I got someone to answer and I asked her why I paid 200 dollars for an order to be ready for pick up in four hours and they couldnt even contact me to say it wasnt available so that I could order it from elsewhere like a different Sallys or different beauty store. I asked them if it was custom for their online website to say a store has something in stock and then not have it. Her answer was well shoplifters. So I asked her so youre telling me youre shoplifting problem is so bad that you dont have half the items I ordered online? And why wouldnt u call me and tell me? Instead of leading me to believe my order was ready for pick up in four hours? Then she rudely told me not to raise my voice at her. Sweetheart, I was not raising my voice at u. I am asking you questions, legit, logical questions that deserve an answer, I work in customer service, I know when a customer has valid reasons to be perturbed and this was one of those situations. Since I paid 200 dollars on your website for items you do not have in stock that your website says you do, you could not contact me to tell me you didnt have these items in stock so that I could make other plans, and you do not answer your phone unless I call 50 times back to back for half an hour straight and furthermore, you give me an attitude when Im a paying customer and have paid 200 dollars for ur rude attitude, and for a service I did not receive?? And ur telling me that your shoplifters shoplifters half your inventory from your store? Well that tells me that someone is not doing their Job correctly. Who is working when all this shoplifting is taking place?? This is a TINY store. Im not understanding how your store is missing half the inventory it supposedly has and NO ONE has updated it so that when people make orders online they are not waisting their time. I asked for the ladys name I was speaking to on the phone and she hung up on me. Like really?? I am so put off my this store. And will be calling tomorrow at ten to talk to the manager of this store. Also will be calling to the corporate office. What kind of business are u trying to run?
Sam gave me a card to hear my feedback! Came in to get help fixing my DIY hair dye I did myself. Sam was very knowledgeable on hair color and recommended me the right products and also explained very well how they work. I don’t understand why all these hateful comments are on here, I’m a woman of ethnicity and I’ve never felt discriminated at this location they are very welcoming and know about black hair product that work for my curls. Honestly one of my favorites to shop at.
Very helpful staff especially Geneiva and Valencia sorry if I have your name wrong . These girls were very helpful the minute I walked in, already in customer service mode . They were very kind and sweet thank you so much for helping me finding the right product for my hair . They sure know there stuff with colors thank you !
Worst place ever. The employees just sit there and dont even look busy but they can never answer the phone if u call. Then they are extremely rude. Online orders to pick up in store is not that great. They didnt even give me the correct items. Go to a different Sallys. This one is incapable of doing anything correctly.
I’ve been to multiple sally locations recently and they were all out of stock of a lot of stuff. I used to shop at the one in Des Moines but i learned that they moved into this location! Its a much nicer store and I was very happy, because they are fully stocked unlike others i visited. i’ll definitely be back to this one specifically

My daughter and I went in there today and the ladies behind the counter were so amazing and extremely helpful!!! They greeted up right upon entering the store and helped us find the right product my daughter needed. We were able to find exactly the color my daughter needed, which was great as we werent able to find it anywhere else. The store employees followed all Covid protocol. We will definitely come back to this location in the future!!
OMG THESE WORKERS ARE JUST AMAZING the manger helped me pick out new products for virgin hair and we ended up having a good laugh about our hair type going in everyone had a good attitude and welcomed me in with open arms love them and WILL be coming back very soon
New store manager Sammie is AMAZING ! She has completely flipped this store around. Sweetest girls working. Highly recommend this location since old staff has left. Best decision to bring her here, store is no longer constantly a mess... I feel like I can actually shop here and find what I need. Gabby was very helpful and knowledgeable on hair color I needed. If you want good customer service and just an overall good experience I would choose this location over any other Sally in the area.
This was my first time at this Sally’s but didn’t even get a chance to go in. Arrived around 5:15pm & noticed this note on the door. I went over to Safeway to grab some groceries. Got back to Sally’s around 5:30pm & door still locked. I’m curious if this has been up since the afternoon... Based off of previous reviews & my experience today, I would recommend going to the Sally’s in Tukwila than wasting your time coming here.
There’s been multiple time I have visited this particular Sally’s where I was treated with pure disrespect and have been discriminated against because of my ethnicity. I have also witnessed another customer be wrongfully accused of stealing. I’m really disappointed with the way things are managed at this particular Sally’s.
All the girls working there didnt greet or offer to help me out. When I did I ask where something was the girl had a nasty attitude about it& they was all looking at me with disgust, like I didnt belong in that store. It was very unpleasant experience..
My wife came in today a little after 4 and expressed concern for a dog who was outside in front of the store. One employee was talking to her about it and another came up and rudely told my wife to mind her own business and walked away. Both employees refused to give their names. Well go elsewhere from now on.

Poor selection of product, and customer service. I was just looking for arctic fox, Ive been here 4 times in the last month, and they dont ever seem to restock it, even though they keep telling me to check back. The employees (2) were in the back room the whole visit, if i was ill minded, I could have easily stolen expensive merchandise. This seems to be a regular thing for this location unfortunately.
This is a very small, somewhat cramped Sallys. The employees have always been very nice. There are usually very rude, huffy customers who are impatient and demanding, which can make shopping there stressful. There are out of stock of items here and there, the supply chains everywhere since COVID have suffered greatly. Call ahead if you need something specific.
EVERY TIME I try to come to this Sally’s the door is locked in the middle of the day. It’s 7:30 right now. The place isn’t supposed to close until 8. Locked again.

Ive been customer of this store for awhile, but on April 2018 i bought a hair extension and the lady forgot to put it on my bags when i got home i called the store and they said the extensions are here you can pick it u anytime; that week i had to travel so i was gone for a almost a month when i came back i went to the store and the manager said cant give you credit or your hair extension without the receive it was hard i kept going for 3 months explaining to different people what had happened and gave up. now on November 2018 i found the receive and I went to the store it was a hold new staff and the Manager Angie Wax understood my situation and even thought it was 7 months she took care it and gave me an store credit. What i like it was not the credit it was the kindly way that she was trying to find a solution. So i recommend to get all the beauty supplies to a place that they will try to help you the most with all your needs. 5+ Star to the Manager (Angie) form Sallys Beauty (Burien, WA) go meet her!
Was there on Friday and the staff greeted me as I came through the doors.There was two people working and both of them were very nice. Asked if they could help got me what I needed and cashed me out. Wished me a good evening and envited back.Now to me I think that’s pretty good customer relationship and yes I would go back.7-20-2018
Staff was helpful, but they didnt have more than 2 or 3 of the same products. I needed at least 4 because my cousins hair is so thick and every color we wanted they had no more in the back or laid out. So it was frustrating.
Ok. What is going on with this store?! First of all, if your business hours say you open at 10am, then you unlock the door at 10 am. I got there today, this is the THIRD TIME I have come here during business hours and the door is locked. I waited right outside the door while the employee took her sweet time ignoring me, and waltzed over to unlock the door around 10:05. There was another customer that came in at the same time, and was asking the employee questions about haircolor and she acted irritated and was short with him. The makeup was 90% nothing but an empty wall. Tons of unopened boxes all over the store. I dont understand people that are hateful, yet work with the public? If this job is that bad....get a new one. Ill go to the west Seattle location from now on, where actual customer service and an organized store exists.

Is the manager (Angie Wax) ever sober while she is working? I have been to this location a few times and she was acting different but yesterday I went in and she was plastered. Will never be going back and I highly recommend you dont bring your children in due to her choice of clothing and her use of profanity. Would go negative stars if I could, does anyone know how to contact the district manager, or an owner about this?
I had call corporate on Angie about 3 months ago. Angie goes against corporate polices ( I am a former employee, so I know the polices) I tried to tell her she couldn’t decide what polices to follow and which ones to not but still refused to do her job.. so I called. District manager ended up coming to the store and CALLED ME when she was there so that I could talk about the problem with this so called “manager”. Anyways, Angie had to end up giving in per polices plus district manager being there.Well today I decided to give them a try again, but BIG MISTAKE. Same manager was there same awful customer service and now she’s making NEW LAWS. PLUS she had her daughter in the back room ? I didn’t mind that, but really? Anyways, I give up on this store, Angie has to go for this store to come back up.
2 stars for being greeted after being in the store for 5 mins. Employee was in the back room. Did not ask if we needed help, another customer comes in, gets greeted and is asked for help. Store looked fairly clean for the most part, customer service was lacking. Ended up just leaving due to not being able to find what I need without help.
Worst experience of my life. If I could give them a zero I would. First if you dont know something dont give me advice, I get that the person was new but you could have just said you didnt know and not misinform me. 2nd when we went back to get it sort it out we were doing what the second person wanted from us as told and not once did she say they were closing early. Now my time is wasted and no help was received.
I came in today to purchase a few items to color my cousins hair as she is from out of state. I have no need for a bucket of bleach though i know i will have to buy it in the future. The man working basically tried to make me sound like an idiot for buying a packet instead of the bucket . Um... You dont talk to customers like that. Rude and terrible customer service. I shouldnt have held my tongue! You dont know my financial situation or my own reasons. Dick!

Rude & horrible customer service at this Sallys. I had questions about the product I was buying and the clerk blew me off. I asked her about upcoming sales and she said she didnt know. I was the only customer in the store & she couldnt take the time to do her job. Wont be going back to this Sallys.
