I had an usual project, painting a rocker moulding, and they did a great job. Nice glossy finish and good color match. By my finding a used part, having Maaco paint it, and mounting it myself, I was able to do the project for 1/3 of what another shop quoted.

I reached to this Maaco for a paint Job towards the end of April, I was told by a not friendly person working at that time that they are busy and cant schedule service until June 1st. so I scheduled for June 1st at 9am. I planned this out and even took a day off from work so I can arrange for this. June 1st at 845am I at the Maaco. I went in and saw the same individual I think he might be the manager and also a painter since he had the gear and mask on. as soon as I got int. he said I cant come in because they are temporarily closed so I asked for how long? then he said I dont know when they will open but they will temp close couple days!! he wasnt friendly any ways. I said okay. Individual didnt bother to ask if I would like to reschedule I am not happy with this treatment and time wasting. I wouldnt advice for anyone to visit this Burien Maaco on 1st Ave .

Very good experience with this business. The paint they use is of great quality and I am always happy to pay them for top tier jobs so we can keep the magic going (I do some of the prep myself I should mention).Scott White, the owner is knowledgeable and overall a great person to deal with. Cant wait to bring them donuts and say thank you!

All I needed was one door panel to be painted. the quotes that I was getting was ridiculous ranging from 350 to $2,000 and from 2 to 10 days. I dont get it, its the same door panel its the same paint. all of the shops told me pretty much the same on the prep thats needed to be done, the paint that was going to be used but how long it would take and the cost was not the same. I even got a quote from two different Maaco one was $850 and the other was $350 out the door and thats including tax. and oh, itll be done in two days. hell of a deal, is it too good to be true? I had to give this Maaco in burien a try and I have to say with no regrets whatsoever. I know what everyones thinking but I had to say this shop did me right! The price was accurate to the job that was on hand, and it was done in 2 days. Im not complaining its not perfect but its the door looks hella better than I could do and Im not sure exactly what a $2,000 painted door panel would look like but most people cant tell that it was painted, seriously I cant even tell unless I really scrutinize it but Im sure that all could be corrected with a nice good polish.

So the customer service was nice but the job was so bad, it was something so simple yet the charged the insurance almost like they painted the whole car, when you look at the “match” paint that they did you can see swirls and patches like they didn’t smooth it out and then threw on the paint and clear coat and called it a day. That’s on the outside now on the inside they didn’t bother to put down sit covers or plastic floor covers so there were white stains everywhere. Im not one to complain but man, they wrote down my phone number wrong and didn’t bother to try to contact the insurance to let them know the car was ready but I guess that’s my fault for trusting them. Once I came to pick up the guy pulling up the car had my speakers cranked up and pulled up my little four cylinder car like it was a muscle car all fast and furious, I mean overall the insurance was covering this repair but if you’re thinking of putting your hard earned money on a paint or body work, go somewhere else.

I was told the job would take about a week to complete and was told I would get a call when it was done. Two weeks in I heard nothing. Called and was told it would be done in another week, never got a call back again. I called and was told the same thing again. This went on for two months before I was finally told I could pick the car up. When I got there, it turned out that they didn’t even contact the party who was suppose to pay so I wasn’t able to pick the car up again. The job itself was done fine, paint was well done and they fixed my issue. If you use them just be prepared to go months without your car and not get straight forward answers.

I had an accident and took my car on March 11, 2021 to be repaired. They could not start the work until March 22nd. Finally they said I could pick up the car on March 31st at 4:00. I waited until around 5:30 because the car had to dry. I had already given up my rental, so had to wait. A few days later the manager of my apartments told me that my right head lamp and signal were out, and the hood was lined up on one side and gapped 1/4 to 1/2 inch on the other side...also paint blow back on both sides of the windshield. This was on Friday April 2nd. I took the car back on Monday morning. I waited until after 8 and saw a guy namedRichard he took the note where I had written down these errors. My husband and I came back about 9 after we walked down to a restaurant to eat...David the guy who I had been working with all of the time was then there...I told him about the note and he said Richard isnt supposed to talk to customers. Then I asked him to look at my car. He said lights could have gone out anytime and was very defensive and rude. He said I just got to work and you are attacking me!! Anyway, a wonderful guy (dont know his name) finished my car up wonderfully and showed me what he had done etc. He had white hair and was extremely nice. My question is why do you have this manager, David w/very very poor customer service skills working with clients???? The whole experience was very disheartening to this 76 year old lady who trusted Maaco to fix her car. ps I have a friend who knows Scott so I hope this info gets back to him. Thank you for listening to my long story. Also David lied to me and said he was waiting for my insurance to agree to some supplements, so i called my insurance and they said the supplements had been okayed already...another attempt to buy time, as my car wasnt even finished being painted when I went to pick it up as was agreed upon by David. I can only assume David treats those well when he feels like it and also comes to work whenever he feels like it...Maaco opens at 8...he has never been there at 8 when I called there. Shame...

If i could give zero stars i would Dont ever take your car here you will ebd up with more damage then u payed to have fixed .... i brought a primer ready to go bumper they cracked the whole thing n tried to hide it... orange pealed the driver side they clipped my break light to my spolier when it unplugs n tried to wire it back which caused my inside break light to stop working they poped a screw through my spolier cuz they lost the original screws .... paint on my interior n everytime i brought car back to let them fix i got it back worse .........

Fantastic experience on my Porsche Panamera. Very quick to be quoted and easy pricing. I did find masking tape all over my engine bay. So even a rush job turned out great. Id recommend them.

Never again!! This establishment is worse as having dirt underneath my finger nails. Stole so much off the vehicle & lies to my face.

They are doing great work. But put an extra 3 weeks on finish.. I personally feel they value some projects or jobs over everyday consumers.

I brought my car into this Maaco of Burien to get my grill painted and put on, the paint of the grill was good but upon removing the grill and putting it back on they cracked both pieces of the plastic that holds on the front bumper. They torqued the screws on way to tight, cracking the plastic. So if my front bumper needed to be removed again both plastic holders would break. Overall the price was good but work was awful. I should of brought it to a higher professional body shop.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Update 2/4/21) I received a response from corporate but Burien of Maaco never followed up. I also followed up with corporate, informing them that location didnt follow up, it fell on deaf ears, I uploaded 2 photos, showing their bad work, but it was some how deleted. They only allow one reviewer to post bad work photos, STAY AWAY from this location!

Great service. Great staff. Great communication.They could really use an investment for better infrastructure so they can handle the amount of business they have. They are doing a great job. It sometimes takes a little bit longer for them to get the job done, but I’d rather have it that way then have them rush through the job. We had our Grand Caravan repaired and repainted. When we picked it up, we discovered that they had neglected to replace a part. They said that they would reorder the part. One week later, we found out they had reordered the wrong part. It has been another two weeks. My husband called them today. The person he spoke with was supposed to check and see if the part had been ordered. They kept my husband on hold for twenty minutes. He called them back, and spoke to another person, who said that the other guy was supposed to have ordered the part. My husband was on hold again. These people are very unprofessional! We had gotten an estimate to have our second vehicle painted at their shop, but that will not be happening! We are looking for a more professional shop to have that work done. We will never return to MAACO in Burien.

Brought my car here, multiple occasions. Family owned business very nice, and friendly! I highly recommend coming here vs going anywhere else, everyone is money hungry and will charge you more then what your supposed to pay. BUT They are busy just like any other business but they treat you like family. I love Scott and his family BEST IN TOWN

Hands down the worst experience I have had with taking my car in for anything. Took it here to have a mirror replaced and dent pushed out/inner door fixed. They told me it would take 3-4 days to finish. I called to see if it was done on the third day and they said they forgot to order the mirror and had pretty much just now realized. So now it would be another 4 days. Called again, another 2 days. Went in to pick it up and they didn’t explain to us over the phone the mirror still wasn’t in. It has taken a total of 2 weeks to fix something that was supposed to be done in 3-4 days. Horrible communication skills/work ethic. Do NOT recommend.

These guys do great work. I chose them because they were easy to work with and did excellent work on my boss Maserati (this was years ago), so when I had my collision they were the first people I thought of. Excellent work, very fair quote--even detailed and washed my car! Cant ask for anything more.

Great experience all around. Malcolm handled my truck from start to finish and he was really on top of everything, went out of his way to go the extra mile. It took the truck a week longer than expected to be ready, but if you go into the office you’ll see why. They’re swamped with business. You may get the job done faster somewhere else, but it’ll be done right here.

Took almost 2 weeks to complete a paint job. They told me one week and they keep saying will be done the next day and then call me back to say the next day. Very disappointing when they need to stop booking too many appointments and can’t complete when promised. Had a customer next to me with the same issue.On top of that I have a Toyota 4Runner with fender flares (6bolts each side) and did not remove them and just painted over it.When I went to get an estimate I specifically Told them to make sure to remove them and he says yes no problem. Manager Jesse Johnson is not a very good manager and or he has bad communications with their employees. When I picked up my car and told Jesse why did they just paint over my flares? He said it would would cost more.I will never go to this location again and would not recommend the Burien 1st Ave location.

I came to Maaco after getting a $4000 quote from my usual body shop. They wanted to do a perfect job and said thats what it would, and they would do no less. Well, for most of us that means the repair simply wont get done, short of a repair that is critical for safety and basic driving. Maaco (specifically I believe the man I talked to was named Jesse) worked with me, discussed expectations, offered to install a light that I also had that needed to be installed, and did it all for 1000. On doing the work they found that it made sense to also paint some of the bumper that was cracked, since they were already working on it, but we had not originally agreed on it and I was particularly strapped for cash. They *again* worked with me and agreed to do it for less. I have found a new favorite body shop, and will be telling everyone I know to check Maaco in Burien before agreeing to body shop repairs. Incidentally, I was wary of Maaco because reviews online said the quality might possibly be worse. My car had a couple serious dents, some paint scraped off, and some other damage. It looks brand new. Maybe Im not enough of an expert, but Ill gladly take this for a quarter of the price!

This place is a joke. Misplaced the insurance check, told my friend his car was ready but that was a lie. Workers arguing with each other. The government is run better than this place.

Great service and low prices, but the quality of work is low. Its painfully obvious from about 15 feet away that my front bumper was repainted. I would recommend these guys for dent removal, but the paint is only good if you care more about saving money than looks.

I’ve been taking my cars to Macao in Burien for years and have always been very happy with their work. I recommend them highly!

I came in on a whim on Monday December 2nd and Sidney helped right away with an estimate to repair scrapes and scratches on the rear bumper of my 2006 Toyota Solara. I was impressed by the amount of the estimate, as I already been to another auto body repair shop and gotten their estimate. A few days before my scheduled appointment for Maaco to repair the bumper, I realized I had some unanswered questions. When I called, Sidney was available and patiently answered all of my questions. This afternoon I picked up my vehicle, 2 days earlier than Maaco agreed to complete the work, and the bumper looks spectacular. All I know is that I received outstanding customer service, each time I was either in the customer area of the shop or called I was treated respectfully and encountered friendly staff. No business gets it right 100 percent of the time. However, for the repair work done on my Toyota I am a completely satisfied customer. BTW, the estimate I got from another auto body shop (located in Renton) was $813.99. At Maaco, the price for the same work was $693. While the difference is just $120.99, there is plenty I can do at this time of the year with that $120.99. Thanks Sidney and Maaco in Burien!

I would NOT recommend this Maaco!! It is very disorganized! I had to wait almost 45 minutes just to drop my car off. I paid to have a new part put on my vehicle and a used part was put on instead ... without my consent. They kept my vehicle longer than necessary for the work that was done. I gave a rating of 2 stars because I feel the price I paid was fair for the work that they did. They say they guarantee their work, but Id rather PAY another auto body shop if any problems arise.

I brought my Toyota celica there for a basic paint job and minor bodywork! They kept BSing me on why it was taking so long(3 weeks) even after having it that long they still did a halfass job(including but not limited to over spray on my gloss black rims)! Bottom line is they gave a very bad First Impression and Im unlikely to bring my car back even though they said they would fix the mistakes! If a plumber messed up on a repair and your house flooded would you trust them to fix or would you be worried they would mess something else up?

Pro: Great pricing. My car got backed into at a parking lot. I got 2 other quotes from $1600 to $1000. Scott charged me $700 and he fixed a couple more minor issues for free!Con: The repair was just OK. You can still see where the repair is done. If you have a new car, you might wanna get it fixed somewhere else. If you have an older car or just wanna fix it and sell it, this is a great place.

Do not bring your car to this place. I had an accident and my front bumper was damaged. Took 3 months to fix my car and did really bad job. They connected the bumper with the car by using fiber. The fixed bumper is dropped off after couple weeks without any reasons. I didnt want to bring it back to ask them because I dont want to spend 3 more months to fix my car.

White loves your money. Did a terrible job when it comes to collision accidents. The paint job was a total different color to my car. Dam I can still hear the noise coming from outside my car... YOU DONT HAVE LIFE TIME WARRANTY WITH THEM, its a lie! I haded to pay half the price for a repairment! Not recommendable!

I went to get a few parts paint for my car and when I got them back, they painted the parts the wrong color, they were already scratched and they had a bunch of dirt under the paint. Asked if they could fix it since they gave me the “life time warranty” and the guy told me that I would have to pay and extra $200-$300. The paint is already pealing off after 3 weeks.You would be better off just going to sonic collision center.

I had my 69 Cadillac painted there. They over sprayed on the chrome trim (because they dont take anything apart), they hit one piece on the door with a sander, and they broke one of the Cadillac scripts on the trunk (that they actually tried to take off)and they broke it and said oh we can glue that back on for you (they are held on by a metal stud and nut)Plus less than a year later the fender they where suppose to repair when they painted the car started to bubble. His response old cars rust from the inside out . So 3k later I have a car with overspray on the trim, broken badges, scuffed trim and fenders that are as rusty or not more than when I brought it . Plus they supposedly cant make other colors of paint and I had to use some b.s. off the shelf color that I will admit is pretty close.. That was 4yrs ago.

I had wrecked my Nissan Xterra and this team of professionals returned it back to looking brand newHighly Recommended
