Don’t bother calling, they won’t answer the phone. Had to go in person to check on a prescription and the phones were ringing for the entire 10 minutes I was in line. Canceled an order and moved it to the cvs on olive and it was much easier

Pharmacy staff doesn’t answer the phones. Called 9 times, on hold for over 10 minutes, and the phone just hangs up. Can’t properly fill subscriptions either. They had to transfer my last prescription to another CVS who didn’t have the full amount I needed, and they’re late getting the rest. Called the store manager and asked to be transferred to the pharmacy and for them to page the pharmacy to answer their own phone. That still didn’t work. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.

No one ever answers the phone for over 2 1/2 hours. Our doctor sent RX in at 1pm and now its 9pm and its still not ready and says it wont be ready until 12:00am. They are so inept! Its critical medication and they could care less. This is the third night this week this has happened. Only reason we even use them is because they are open late. This is why I have avoided CVS Pharmacy for decades.

I didn’t find the clear eyes package I came for. But friendly staff served me well. Large store. Parking outside. Wheelchair friendly

Super spacious recently remodeled CVS with great self checkout as well as regular checkout service. Most things are in stock but they do have a ton of room they dont utilize and reserve for seasonal items in the center of the store. Great deals and coupons!

I went to the pharmacy last Thursday to pick up my medicine and the First Lady who “tried” to help me wasn’t not being helpful but when another pharmacist helped me out she was really helpful, recommended me certain things to help me save some money, her name is Paula and she did an amazing job trying to help me and assist me in anyway she can.

Came last night around 8 p.m to the pharmacy waited 30 minutes or so to be seen even though there was only one person ahead of me, I wasnt attended the entire time. Im finally seen and they said my medication would be ready over night. I come back the next day close to 7 pm and here I am waiting still. Their customer service at the pharmacy is lousy.

Take several hours if not days to fill prescriptions even though its supposed to be 24hrs. if they ever tell you itll be ready by a certain amount of time, add 3-4 hours on top of that.

DO NOT GO HERE. Pharmacy staff is extremely lazy and rude. The pharmacist on duty just insisted my girlfriends prescription was not here and then clocked out.The next pharmacist who replaced her found the prescription and weve been waiting 30 minutes now. Nobody else is here at the pharmacy so not sure what is taking so long.Even if this is the closest pharmacy to your location, I recommend going elsewhere. Youll save yourself a lot of frustration and end up waiting 30+ minutes anyways.

Go to any other pharmacy. The Rite aid nearby had very nice staff and a short wait.The short black haired female pharmacist was incredibly rude. Long wait and unwilling to do anything to help. I spent all day caring for a friend who had surgery that same day and was filling their prescription for pain killers. She was very judgemental and basically accused me of trying to get painkillers for recreational use. Ive never in my life had an experience so terrible for a task that is so simple. I had the patients ID and insurance information but she was unwilling to help. Ill never use CVS for anything again after how that pharmacist acted.

Don’t come to this CVS! Very rude staff. If I could give it zero stars I would. The security kept following me and my 11 year old brother throughout the store. Security guard was too busy focusing on us, that someone actually ran off with merchandise. My brother got scared that he left to the car with my husband. Next thing you know the staff walks out starts pointing and my brother and my car. Long story short the manager was very rude realized my brother didn’t shop lift and to top it off said “ if you don’t like the security following you, you can leave”. Never coming here again.

If I could give no stars I would this pharmacy is the worst they made a mistake with my prescription and now they don’t want to fix it now I have to go to the clinic again after the doctor gave me 6 months supply so I don’t have to worry but now I can’t get my refill because of their mistakes don’t go to this pharmacy please.

The store is fine.The customer service needs a little workI wonder if the two older gentleman working today realize that the customers notice that they are much more friendly with the older white customers than they are with anyone else.They see the line but still insist on long drawn out conversations with customers

Every time I go I have a good experience. The minute clinic is great. I sign online and know when to go. The staff is friendly and ready to help, even if you use the self checkout they are there to help.

The pharmacy is a mess. I stood and waited forever and wasn’t acknowledged. Only one person behind the register. I was simply trying to buy and over the counter cold medicine but your system was down and they couldn’t scan my driver’s license. I sat and waited for 15 min for the system to “maybe come back on” and eventually left. Time after time the pharmacy takes forever or isn’t prepared. Get it together. I’ll be going to the Rite Aid down the street from now on.

Absolutely love this place. Pharmacy Staff always goes out of there way to ensure I leave satisfied. My third time here and always leave saying i love this place!Very appreciative with everyone, thanks guys!

This review is for the purpose of warning our fellow Burbank residents about this particular CVS location. This is the one closest to home but after my husbands experience last night we would rather drive farther.My husband walked to the register and one employee at the cashier had his mask on improperly with nose sticking out. The customer infront of him was not wearing a mask was not told to wear a mask on or no service. When my husband asked the cashier why they are not enforcing the mask rule the cashier said its because she was on her phone. The supervisor who walked into the store also didnt wear a mask. We called to speak to a manager, instead we got the supervisor who was not wearing a mask when entering the store and did not keep a safe distance from her coworkers while talking to them. This branch and their employees dont uphold safety against Covid-19.

Friday, April 23, 2021. CVS pharmacy on Hwd. Way & Verdugo Finally Closed. The store is open but not the pharmacy. Very poor management and manager obviously. Long time in coming but definitely the right thing to do. My doctors office was on hold for an hour and myself 35 minutes before we realized it lol.

The customer service attitude is really bad. I have some questions about my bill. The old man with white hair cashier interrupted my taking and said very rude. I am pregnant and kindly ask my bill but he was so rude. Please pay attention to your manner and your white hair old man lowers the CVS brand representation.

The Service: Called the pharmacy to refill my prescription. Very friendly staff answered the phone. My prescription was ready to pick up in less than 20 minutes!!! Love it when they sent out text message to let me know when it was ready~The Store: Well maintained and organized.The Parking: Plaza parking lot sharing with other retailers. Never have problem finding parking spot.

Rude to customers

OMG!! Not only there is no one at the register to help!! It was myself(I got there first) and 2 other customers came right after me, we were waiting for 5 minutes(more for me, since I was waiting already) & when finally one of the customers went looking for someone..., some man finally approaches the cash register area...he took his time, walking slowwwwwwwly(no he is not injured...because when he was done...he walked quite fast and said he is off for the day to the other lady, who normally is the cashier there).AND when I gave the man my name(first and last) he wasnt listening & took forever to find my pictures and he said oh, your picture is under this name(my last name), I told him...Yeh..I gave you my full name. I was only there to pick up pictures and I didnt get out of there till approx. 20 minutes later. Also they have another man that works on Monday mornings, hes never friendly either. Ive been here a few times, but I just never reviewed this place, because ...usually there is a nice lady that is always there ready to help, so I figured okay...but shes not here today. And since I am reviewing this place now, I figured I add the comment on the man on Mondays too, because it was not just a One-time thing when he was rude, maybe he was having a bad day...No...he is always rude and not friendly(that is why I try going on other days, when the nice lady is working...I wish I know her name, but she is the only nice one, she usually has her hair up, no glasses) So the one star is for todays customer service. The store itself I give it about 3.5...it is organized & clean. Not sure if this is a tip or not...but just to let you know...coupons will not work if the item is on sale. I thought I was getting a discount on my pictures, apparently he said I cant use the coupon on it...because the pictures were on SALE!! I dont see an ad or anything on it. Go figure.

45 minutes to drop off a prescription!! This pharmacy is sorely understaffed. After dropping off the prescription, we left and had dinner and came back. They said 30 minutes, but we spent another 30 minutes in the pickup line (after a 30 minute dinner) waiting to reach the counter. Further, they only had one of the 2 medicines prescribed. I went here as I was ill. The last thing I wanted to do was stand around in a line for 90 minutes only to be told to come back tomorrow, as they still hadnt filled the prescription!!

Came here to get a prescription filled as my local CVS did not have it in stock. The Pharmacists are strictly business, which is fine with me but some might find it off-putting. I decided to grab a couple of items while I was here. The two self checkouts were out of commission. The manned checkouts have an awkward design - the scanner is a good three feet away from the pin pad, so I had to awkwardly shuffle to get my items before the next customer could be rung up.

Obviously not the fault of the staff, but it seems a little understaffed. Bit unkempt than the usual CVS but its in a busy-ish area.

The pharmacy is so rude! Everyone in line was having an issue at the fault of the pharmacists. They said my prescription would be ready Sunday Evening snd Monday afternoon I went to pick it up and they hadn’t even called it in yet. Lazy pharmacy

This is for the pharmacy. You have been no help and your long lines are ridiculous. I was just on hold for 55 minutes and your response was try somewhere else. This is irresponsible and you are dealing with peoples well-being. Hire more staff.

CVS employee Andre is not concerned nor does not care about the poor treatment of your customer given by people who say they don’t work there. So, I’m 47 years old. Yes 47 yrs. And I could see the man(Big eyes in a mini uniform) behind the counter staring and eye balling me. He signals to come to his register. He then says he doesn’t work here and the Worker Andre standing there laughing and smirking playing jokes on me this morning. I don’t pay for that service and I don’t buy that service. Some big eyed short man Standing behind counter staring at my whole body from head to toe. His eyes were so BIG. I didn’t know if I had dirt on me or what. So as I get my item and I stand in the line this same weird guy is standing behind the check out register. So another guy standing behind the checkout register which looks like the manager named Andre. So the big eyed shirt guy raises his hand signal me to come to his register and as I come toward him he just doesn’t say anything LAUGHING! he just looked at me real blank with a smirk on his face. Then he proceeds to tell me that he doesn’t work there. I was very upset about it and I explained to the manager Andre that was standing at the register next to him and he did not act like he work there and he didn’t even give me a concerned or an apology for the bs treatment! Next time DON NOT Waist peoples time !

They keep refilling prescriptions I don’t need filled yet.I ran out of a medication because my doctor had increased my dosage.She sent in a new prescription updated and they still said they can’t because I git 60 pills I’m May.My bottle clearly says I got 30 pills!So I’m in pain after surgery because of their error!

This is one of the worst pharmacies Ive ever been to. I went to pick up a prescription for my boss and they said they had no record of said prescription. I called her doctors office and they said they sent it to their location the following day at 5:30. I spoke to the pharmacy again to tell them what happened and then they realized that they just had never filled it. I then waited 30 minutes for them to fill it, and the customer service was sub par here. Highly recommend a different pharmacy.

After an altercation with another patron the young offender openly admitted he was 17 and the clerk sold him a large bottle of alcohol. The manager simply walked away. Utterly disgusting.

This is the WORST CVS pharmacy I have ever been to. I have never felt so humiliated and disrespected. I went there to take passport photos and the person who took them left after waiting nearly an hour I asked the manager named Albert to help me and he said to me what are you talking about before I even explain. He was on the phone the entire time handling his personal business. He was very rude and unprofessional.

The pharmacy takes forever. A lot of items like back scratchers and charging cables are almost always out of stock when I come. Not that I need them, but they’re just almost always out of stock.

Inattentive pharmacy.I came in for a vaccination booster and was told to wait in the dropoff window. Fifteen minutes of waiting later, I was told only the clinic has boosters. At a different CVS, I was told they didn’t offer appointments but it turns out they do. Communication nightmare.

Go to the cvs on verdugo. The pharmacy staff are a little less rude, still slow. A big fat guy is sometimes on the register, and he ignores any customer, and talks to his friends that are hanging around the register.

I love this CVS. I often drive out of my way to come here because its open 24/7 (perfect if you need flu medicine really late) and it is EXTREMELY well stocked with hair and beauty products. The store is always well staffed and its easy to find someone when you need help.

I hardly ever write any reviews but this is must to write!! first for most i must say this is one of the busiest CVS pharmacies in town!!! I was there to pick up my medication for my son and the technician informed me that they did not have the medication in stock. I was really upset because I really had no other option but to just wait till the next day. The pharmacy manager “Azaria” over heard my conversation with the technician. He was able to calm me down and tried to come up with an alternative. He was able to convert the dosing into something the would be able to dispense in liquid formulation. Right when everything was able to work, he was upset that my insurance decided to not cover the liquid formulation. Even though they were super busy he still wouldnt give up. He looked online to find a coupon to reduce the copay! He saved me over $100!!! He got the it all done and I was able to get the medication to my son. NOW this is quality service by this pharmacy manager. He spend over 30 min during their pick hours and most importantly getting the medication that we needed!! THANK YOU THANK YOU Azaria!!! I would recommend this pharamcy and pharamcist to anyone who wants quality care!!

Wasted 45 minutes calling twice to be on hold just for them to hang up right away

Most pharmacy people are nice but there is one older Asian guy that is completely useless and rude both on the phone and in person. everyone else there is helpful and nice, and clear when explaining on what needs to happen etc, but this guy is useless! has anger problems, cant speak to people nicely on the phone or in person, and gave me some bullsh*t excuse on why i would have to wait 2 hours for my medication, luckily i could wait till the next day at a different time and i did, but i know he was full of it because i have an automatic refill every month and i go at the same time (usually later at night around midnight) to pick it up and have never been told that. I let another one of the staff members know at a later time that his manager needs to check him, because its not just a bad attitude for the day, its all day every day, and i would find it hard to believe Im the only one who may feel this way about this guy.

Luis, the manager should be avoided at checkout. He goes out of his way to avoid granting the customers wishes; even lying. He insults the customer to cover up his own ineptitude. He will NOT be checking me out again if I choose to go to this less than stellar CVS. Is he a manager? It would explain why this CVS is so gross.

Worst ever. In town and realized I forgot test strips for insulin pump. Called several CVS pharmacies in Burbank and the people were so nice; however, they were closing soon. They told me to call the 24 hour pharmacy. I spent several hours on HOLD on the phone. Workers would answer the phone and give me all sorts of excuses why they couldnt help me TODAY. I must say that the worst thing was calling my insurance and them telling me they would pay for the test strips with a vacation override but the pharmacist would have to call the number. I told my insurance that the pharmacist would not be likely to call because of his attitude. They told me that he had to -- its his duty -- ha ha! Perhaps CVS should realize that their employees at this location are NOT fulfilling their duties.Well, I finally sent spouse to pick up test strips and the older Asian man Refused to call. He was very rude and it was upsetting to my family in this difficult situation and it personally cost us $105.00 for two days worth of strips ( usually one month is free if he would have called). We are moving here soon and we will NOT be using CVS.

Ive been given a prescription for 325-10mg Norco (qty10).. Ive been to 3 different CVS Pharmacies, and a total of 6 other pharmacies and no one can seem to fill it for me... Either the doctors around here just love to write those, or the pharmacies around here dont know what theyre doing. Its gonna be ok tho. God Bless.

Waiting to ask simple question almost 15m

Extremely busy. So busy that the cashiers and pharmacy simply dont have time to listen or give honest estimates. Ive had the pharmacy take 3 days to fill a single prescription and then tell me it would be unavailable and they had to transfer it to another CVS.

One thing I always love about this CVS is that there are constantly working to improve it by tearing out the floor and the shelving. The bright fluorescent lights make one (AKA ME) feel alive!!!! Truth be told, I never know when I go in whether Ill exit the premises with a Twix bar or a Burbank-branded ball cap, but I like the sense of adventure that I get from such an outing. Thanks, local artisans, for keeping this CVS fresh!!! And speaking of fresh, you can always freshen up with a few amenities that this CVS so lovingly and carefully stocks :) PRO TIP: Did you know that this CVS location is very close to Vons and Crawfords? I bet you didnt!!!!!! But it is, thats my pro TIP :) :) :) And no, you dont have to tip me, hahahaha this is the internet, I dont know how you would do that. I do have Venmo ;) But seriously, you dont need to tip me.

The panhandlers have taken over this strip mall and there is no end in sight. Try another mall for whatever you need. Apparently they do not come up to the Smart and Final, but are always at CVS in droves. It has become dingy and dirty over here.

I have to agree with most of these (negative) reviews. This place is AWFUL! they tell me over the phone that my prescription is ready but when i arrive to pick it up they tell me they need my doctor to send over another approval. As another reviewer here said, the faxes to and from here end up in deep spance. When they finally fill it its the wrong medication. And they act like its all your fault. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

The first time I have ever used this location and it was horrible. I called in advance for my rx to be filled, specifically informing the woman on the phone that it cannot be the generic version it must be the exact one. She told me they didnt have it and would order it which is absolutely fine. I walk into the store once I was notified to come and pick up, they handed me a generic version and informed me that if I wanted the original that it would have to be ordered. Which I had ALREADY thought was happening. Nobody looked like they knew what they were doing, no one apologized, and the customer service was just horrible. Never using this location ever again

Had a very bad experience when tried to return an item at this CVS. Bought it at a different location only a few days prior for cash and had a receipt with me. Not sure what happened and why a receipt showed a different member number, but manager gave me a really hard time with assistance of a return and twice suggested to take crutches back to Laguna where I purchased it. I am not sure what the store policy is, but even her talking manner wasn’t nice. She was talking so down to me, like I stole something or did something wrong. She wasn’t helpful and didn’t take back crutches. How can CVS hire such an incredibly disrespectful person like that. Went to another CVS after, and awesome customer service representative excepted my return within two minutes and without giving me a difficult time about unmatching member number and didn’t suggest to “go back to Laguna to talk to a sales person Diego who sold me those crutches”.

Ive never had a smooth experience with this pharmacy. Sadly our insurance requires we use CVS. Always at least an hour wait.

I got to the pharmacy and there were 5 people in front of me in line. It took less than 5 minutes for me to get through line, get my prescription, and get a consultation. I greatly appreciated their efficiency.

Open 24 hours and large selection of vitamins and is located in a shopping center with lotta other stores. The only complain I have about cvs on Hollywood way is the store employees they seem out to lunch when asked about a certain item, so I no longer ask. And cashiers both male and female no matter what time of day never genuinely smilemaybe its their age.

Staff here at Hollywood Way is not helpful, and the evening shift manager does not know the store procedures or how to use the register. Coupon machine was not working either. Try a different CVS!

I hesitate to say they must be dipping in to the supply in the back but how else do you explain the confusion, apathy, mistakes and outright lack of knowledge? They had NO idea what a non-stick bandage is, even when I supplied brand names. Prescription that I dropped off? They lost it. They claimed they would call me another time when the prescription was ready. No call. Out of stock more than they are in stock. These people are horrible!!

I gave them the new information about my insurance that I switched and they ignored it.I waited for my medication for 3 hours and then they kept telling me that my insurance was expired 6 months ago. I showed them the new evidence and called the insurance to verify that I was giving them the new one.Today I was told by my doctor that the pharmacy showed them that the reason why they refused to give me was because my insurance was expired again.
