House of secrets is the premiere comic book store in Burbank. I have been coming here for over 15 years and I live 2 hours away. The place is well curated and maintained as well as incredibly fun to go visit. Check them out and chat up the clerk about whatever youre looking for, Im sure hell be able to find it.

Top quality comic book shop with the coolest people working. Its definitely one of the few shops that I will always shop at. Always clean and fully stocked. I would give them 10 stars if I possible. Parking is ample and easy to find as well.

Not open and almost 1pm on Tuesday. Wasted drive and website hours not true.

I love how you guys came out on the new series Paradise PD on Netflix as Die Alone Comics S1 E5. It was awesome to see the shop almost exactly as real life. The inside was a miss, but the building was perfect.

Staff was cool as heck!! They didnt lie to me about their honest opinions on some of the books I selected to match up with my current reading material.

Very helpful, polite, and patient. Assisted me by showing me the book collections of the comics issues I was looking at before I even thought to ask about whether there were any, and helped me try to pinpoint where one of the newer Marvel characters I was looking into started appearing. Id definitely come back next time Im back in the area.

One of the coolest comic book shops I have ever been in. Excellent selection of trade paper backs and hardbound editions. Lots of new issues and a great back stock of older issues. If theres any review you need, its this one.Plain and simple. All of the employees are amazing human beings. They all did their absolute best to help me find and order an older issue of Doomsday Clock (#11B if you must know). They have earned their reputation of being THE go-to spot for having a huge collection of backlogged issues. If you need anything, go here, you wont be disappointed. A shame they are so far from me though. 😭

First time writing a review, but I really wanted to give a shout out to the House of Secrets crew and especially the owner Paul who is a top bloke!I have bought books from House of Secrets before and found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful.What really stands out for me was when I wanted to sell some comics and graphic novels to Paul; he was so gracious and trusting: didnt try to nickle and dime me (obviously he needs to make a profit on what he buys), wasnt even going to check was I had brought in today until I requested he do so - to make sure he was happy with the merch.I have visited many comic book stores and dealers in different parts of the world over 30 plus years.Dealing with Paul probably ranks as one of the best buying and selling experiences.This is a great store and I hope people find this review helpful.

Basically the best comic shop in Burbank/LA. The new comics are organized really well, the staff is friendly, the decorations, posters and music create a great atmosphere that welcomes all comic fans new and old.

Due to budget cuts from covid revenue losses, Burbanks top comic book store and its top lingerie store had to combine into one.Its called House of Victorias Secrets

I love this place. I just got back into collecting and had been looking for shops close to me. A lot of shops I went to felt impersonal or like I was being judged. But the moment I stepped into this shop they were incredibly helpful, kind and cool. The clientele is super nice too! Good people to stand in line with on Wednesdays before the shop opens. I had heard such great things about this local gem, that I had to check it out for myself.As I walked in I was immediately greeted by this real cool guy, very awesome customer service, i felt welcomed.House of secrets is not a massively huge place but an extremely comfortable shop to browse and find what your looking for.It also impressed me how well the walls are decorated by original art work, unique posters, cool hardcovers, silver age and bronze age comics, it well displays the unique images of cool comic book store, a little bit of the old and the new.I highly recommend this comic book shop, great customer service, well detail items for sale, fair prices and a pretty good location.

Ive been going to this comic book store for several years and I love it! The inside is on the smaller size but its very quaint and the decor is fantastic! The small size is only a issue during Free Comic Book day. The selection of comics is great and the owner is super nice! If youre in or near Burbank and you like comics, this place is a must-go!

While not well versed in comic books, I like perusing this shop for gift ideas for the nerds in my life. The staff is competent, location is convenient, and interesting enough to intrigue someone who knows little about what is going on here.

What can I say? This is my place! This is where I go to get my comics. This is where I go when I have a comic related question or request. The staff is knowledgeable and fun! I think thats 90% of it right there. There are many comic book stores in Los Angeles. They all stock the same comics. But its the people that make you to want to keep coming back.

This is a fantastic comic book shop. It has a huge selection of books, (standard issues, hard/soft covers, collections) and it some rare issues which are available for purchase. The workers, only 3 as it is a small shop, are awesome. They are knowledgeable if you are curious about a certain book or series, they are friendly when you conversate with them and all while giving their own opinion on the subject you may be talking about. I have had no issues with them and will continue to purchase my comics from here. Highly recommend.

Awesome little spot! Had a great vast selection of comic books and pop culture paraphernalia. The walls, ceiling, and even floors were decked out in awesome nerd fashion. They hosted a popular YouTubers book signing and meet & greet there during my first visit.

First time visit. Was greeted warlmy and given an excellent breakdown of how the shop is laid out making my comic book hunting easy! All of the new stuff, tons of back issues, variety of graphic novels and plenty of comic related paraphernalia to choose from. Parking can be tricky but not a deal breaker. I enjoyed my first visit and look forward to returning over and over again. Make this shop your go to shop!

Cool shop lots of old comics and some great gems for sale. Got most of the new comics from Marvel Image DC Valiant. Lots of trades also and a couch to read your comics. Awesome customer love this place highly recommend coming here.

I must say that this is my favorite comic book shop. They have a wide selection of back issues and their prices are great. Usually, back issues get marked up substantially even for books that are considered readers... Not here.They have alot of new issues, but Ive never been lucky enough to find a variant. They have some obscure books as well. I dont care too much for the actual novels, but they have a bunch here. They also have a section full of readers that are priced as readers, which is good.Their kind enough to hold stuff for you and even took my number so they can inform me once they get new issues or back issues of books Im looking.Again, my favorite shop. So much so that I drive from Northridge area just to look around. :^D

Im from AZ and happened to be staying at the Safari Inn across the street - so I just popped in for a bit and found a nice back issue of Warrens Vampirella that I didnt own. It was FCBD so the store was a bit more of a madhouse than Im sure it usually is, and I lingered less than usual because of this, but I loved the cool little shop and the awesome decor. The Plastic Man bench outside is a nice touch. I recommend The House of Secrets to any comic fans in Cali or just visiting the Burbank area!

I grew up in Los Angeles at a time when comic books were not cool. They had yet to save the movie industry and you had very little to choose from when it came to feeding your comic habit. After spending the last 20 years in the middle of the pacific I have returned to LA to find a place that makes my heart all warm and fuzzy. Honestly, if I could open my own comic book store, it would be the House of Secrets. God bless you Eric and Amy, you have given us an oasis to quench our thirsty tale starved souls. I have been a customer of House of Secrets since 1999. Unfortunately, I had to move and finding a comic bookstore similar to House of Secret in San Diego county has been met with disappointment. The staff is really approachable no matter if you are an avid reader or just trying new things. I recently went back and it felt like home. All I can say is that I wish there was a House of Secrets in San Diego county.
