Ordered The Breakfast Burrito. Fairly sized and really good! Came with a container of Green Tomatillo Salsa. This is the second time Ive ordered from here and although the prices are kind of high, the food is really good! I world recommend the Avocado & Burrata Toast, its one of their most popular items and its delicious!
This place is fabulous. Shabby chic tables chandeliers fresh flowers in milk pitchers. Lovely lighting. Great menu with vegan options. Very lively at breakfast. Excellent bakery and they also have a lovely store section with candles crystals all kinds of beautiful options. Highly recommended.
I was waiting to come and try this place for a very long time, it is a very nice location with a carefully desiged with special focus on details. unfortunately when I arrived it took a while to find someone to seat me, they got me utensils and I asked if I could order say yes and they left then I discovered I should be ordering at the counter I wish if they had better communication so I would not need to wait all that time just to order so I just left I was running out of time.I hope I could find some other time to visit and try them.I could not find any olives or thyme on the menu haaaa
The food here is excellent! There is no doubt that you will be satisfied with what you ordered. My wife and I walk past this place and today we decided to give it a try. And we are glad we did. The prices are higher than what w would like to spend bit it will be our new spot when we want to treat ourselves. The bread really makes the sandwiches we tried stand out. We crushed half of our spicey chicken and BAT wit chicken sandwiches. Then for dinner we finished them off. The corn chowder soup was excellent. Their lemonade hit the perfect balance of sweet and sour. We cant wait to go back and try something new. And they also serve beer.
This place was AWESOME! Solid atmosphere and food was really good. I had the breakfast burrito and my gf had the avocado toast. Thats not really my thing but I must say it was by far the best avocado toast Ive ever had. Amazing flavor.
This place was a gem. The food was absolutely delicious. I had an open faced salmon sandwich and my son, who is the pickiest eater I know, had an avocado and buratta cheese open face sandwich that he devoured. It was the middle of the afternoon when we sent so it was not too crowded. You order yourself and they bring the food to you. The service was quick and pleasant. Employee came by a bit later to see how everything was and if we needed anything else. They sell some lovely items in the store too.
Food was delicious. Ambience was great. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the counter and food is brought to you. Manager stopped by each table. A nice touch.
Delightful clean atmosphere, interesting variety of merchandise, polite and helpful staff (esp. Wendy!) delicious food beautifully presented.

Excellent breakfast and coffee, we had poached eggs on toast a flat white and a cappuccino. The poached eggs came with a delicious simple arugula salad with lime. My only gripe about this place is the price. Its kind of table service but you have to pay and order at the register, for what they charge it should be full service.
Look no further than Olive and Thyme for ambience, great food and great coffee. We stopped here during a private tour of LA. We had just visited the Disney studio and it was a hot day. We came across olive and Thyme and were instantly revived. I had a cold brew coffee and oatmeal cookie. Delicious. This place will delight you.
I got the Kale chopped salad. It was incredible. Pistachios and avocado 🥑 My friend got the deconstructed chicken salad with arugula and 1/2 avocado. The noise level was very loud, but looks to be a great spot for a work day lunch meeting. Nice and bright and cozy. I didn’t have time to look at the desserts case, but will next time!
It was great! Beautiful cozy place with great service.
Very cute place. We got a breakfast burrito and braised short rib sandwich. Both were well thought out flavors. Will be back.
The new girl is nice, but the “experienced” employee was very rude. I was only trying to order pancakes and a chai latte via the Caviar app, but the app wouldn’t allow me to order both at the same time (due to the odd way they organized their overlapping menus pertaining to breakfast & brunch). I have dealt with similar issues before (as I order online from diff. venues practically every day). So I asked if I could purchase a different item for the same price, and write in the instructions to substitute the item for a chai latte. That way I could receive both of my desired items. She immediately told me no as it would “ruin their system and inventory.” Moreover, she offered no solution or alternative to my issue. I have never received pushed back on asking for something so simple before, especially since I’m willing to pay for a basic food order. They should fix their “system” and overall tone.
It was my birthday on Tuesday April 2nd I couldnt decide where to have my birthday dinner so while driving to the airport I decided to search for restaurants on the GPS. We came across Olive & Thyme. My mom ordered the avocado and burrata cheese toast (not pictured). I ordered the Marys fried chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini. I was a little hesitant in ordering the Fried Chicken, as I am very picky; I was not disappointed. The chicken was well seasoned, and fried to perfection; crispy and juicy. The mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery well-seasoned and the broccolini wasnt overcooked it still had a bite to it a crunch that was also seasoned really well... everything was delicious- my mom loved her avocado toast so much so that she stated the next time Im in the area pick up a to go order 😊
Would love love love it if they stayed open past 2pm. Sometimes its hard to get there by then for lunch (most of the time).... maybe extend a couple of hours for those of us who dont eat 12-1?
I had the middle eastern chicken sandwich and was seriously off the charts. Will definitely return!!
An excellent brunch/lunch place... casual, very good food and excellent service!
A beautiful spot for breakfast and lunch. They really serve the finest ingredients in each dish. I will be back
This place is simply amazing! do not live in the Burbank area but when I am in The surrounding area for work purposes I do not miss a chance of stopping by here to grab something quick. iPhone in my order and get it exactly when promised. Everyone there is so nice, the place is very clean and Decour beautiful! Dont miss an opportunity to try to see if you can. The green goddess is my favorite And Dave ice mocha latte.
Olive &Thyme is a great place for lunch the menu is extensive, giving you plenty of options ranging for the canrviore to the vegan! The atmosphere and decor in this place is immaculate and inviting. Almost has a southern feel to it. The service is fast paced-among the best, staff very friendly and attentive. If youre looking for a good place for family and friends to eat this has to be hands down one of the best places to eat in Hollywoow area or Burbank! Well definitely bringing moms whos vegan here!
This place constantly delivers. They serve awesome food for fair prices, there is no waiting time even when the spot is packed.
Best Pancakes in LA!!! HANDS DOWN!!! Seriously, I have had pancakes all over the state as well, and when this place is on, it is on. Arguably the best pancakes I have had in California. Period.I also tried a few other items, such as the chicken sandwich and a seasonal iced latte. The other items were fine, slightly overpriced for what you get, but my goodness am I still dreaming about those pancakes.
This was the first time here. I had a look at the menu and decided to give it a shot. The parking was easy enough on a Saturday morning. I found a spot on the next block up and within a few short steps I was at the door. The first impression of this place even just by looking at the menu was reminiscent of another popular well known cafe on West 3rd street in Beverly Hills. So much so that now that I live in NoHo this will take the other places spot on my ‘good places to eat’ list. You order and the counter and then take a number and find a seat. They have a good selection of pastries and cookies as well as a really robust menu.I had the strawberry croissant, the eggs Florentine and a latte. After sitting down, the service was fairly prompt and things trickled in just enough to not make me think it’s taking too long. The food itself was great. The poached eggs were perfect. They had just enough tension to feel them ‘split’ when I cut them. The croissant was really sweet and had some cream cheese and strawberry jam filling. The lattes were good too.The only downside was the music being a little too loud to hold a conversation.I would definitely come back.
Wouahhh !!super super good !and the staff is great !french fries are awesome !!!my kids had the burger and rib hash super goodand my wife avocado toast super goodmy bahn- mi was very very good with very nice chicken !the place is beautiful too !
The first time we came here it was amazing. The service was great, the food was perfect. So naturally we couldnt wait to come back. Today 8/14, was clearly the B-team, service was so-so, and the food was medicore. The creamy tomato basil soup was watery and heated so hot we had to wait 15 minutes so be able to eat it. We also ordered 2 vanilla lattes that were amazing the first time, terrible this time. They forgot the vanilla. When we asked about it, she said next time you need to say vanilla latte. We did, but I wasnt about to go back and forth over a latte. They redo it, and the new lattes are not much better. Im sad, because we LOVED this place the first time. But the service/food has been hit/miss for us so far. Because of the amazing first visit, of course we will try again and I still highly recommend this place for a relaxing meal. Just beware of the B-team.
Great burgers, breakfast and bakery. Nice ambience
I would have given 4 stars-- the place is beautiful and they have a great selection of bougie on trend foods. However, I have recently adopted a vegan diet for health (#breastcancersurvivor) and environmental reasons. I dont like to be that guy at a restaurant, altering the chefs creations to suit my own needs, so I always preview the menu before I go to a restaurant. I saw an almond butter and fresh jam toast option that sounded great. When I arrived, I was informed that they dont actually offer that. I asked if there are any other vegan options and the girl working the register was rude. We have the burrata and avocado toast. You can get it without burrata.. I told her I have an avocado allergy and she rolled her eyes and said, Well, its hard to be a vegan if youre allergic to avocado.. I know, asshat. Thats why I checked the menu before I came.So I got boring, $10 oatmeal that I could have gotten at Starbucks.
It has been nearly two years since i had their amazing avocado toast. I dream about returning daily and this dream is the only thing giving me the spirit to survive this pandemic. The interior is very clean and modern and the people who work here are awesome and kind.
Great food. Great service. Great ambiance. Nicely done roasted chicken and house made fries with a side of aioli for dipping. Our server gave us more toasted bread for our spinach dip without us asking and no additional charge( how many times is that annoying when you go out for a family meal). Hummus trio is quite large so be sure to have ample hummus eaters at your dinner table. Very close to WB studios and New York film academy. Parking on the street is pretty easy to find.
Solid restaurant with good coffee and decent food. The environment is very nice with many communal tables with counter service. The overall experience is nice but not the best in the area given the lack of full table service for the prices. Worth trying for sure but it can be hit or miss on a busy day resulting in botched execution and inconsistency in quality. On weekends be ready for a hectic experience.
Theyre open again for in-house, sit-down business! The menu and hours are limited, but for the time-being, you can now get brunch all-day (bonus). And everything is still delicious, and the staff are still quick, fun, kind, and courteous. Some semblance of tasty normalcy during an otherwise craptastic time.
Thank you for the delicious food you have given to CHLA staff
Delicious brunch and excellent service! The store design is simply beautiful, and it has a beautiful shop in the restaurant. Or is it a restaurant in a shop? Either way, positively delightful experience. Incredible attention to detail throughout! Love love love! 💕
I love this place! The food is great and the atmosphere feels bright and peaceful (even when its busy). And everybody is super nice!
Super expensive. But the food is really good. $60 for a lunch for two without sides.
Food is fresh and tastes good but I find the entree portion sizes so different. Some are very filling and large. I think the portion sizes needs to be reduced or offer half portions.
I loved the ambiance. Met a friend for lunch at 12:30 - probably its peak time. It was packed. I used the valet parking $6. We were there for about 2 hours chatting and in the first hour, we were practically shouting since it was so loud in the restaurant. I had the Chinese chicken salad. I didnt like it all that much because I didnt like the way the chicken was prepared - kinda stringy in texture and chewy. The salad portion was surprisingly large though. I couldnt finish it. It also could have used more dressing. I would not order again, but Im curious to try other items on the menu like a sandwich or come back here for breakfast/ brunch. Overall, classy decor and trendy vibe. Would probably return here to try new things or have a bite with a friend.
The food was very tasty here, and the service prompt and friendly. The portions were of a good size. Parking is a little difficult to find depending on the time of day due to the other surrounding businesses. Very nicely decorated interior gives the place a cool vibe. Would return.
Its pricey, but worth it.
One of my favorite brunch n coffee joints. (Super high end classy french kitchen style. Good all delicious, coffee too notch.
Bright open space and ambience. European vibe. But.. parking was a challenge. The short rib hash was okay but then its only my first time. Will go back to try other dishes.
Extremely overpriced for very average food. The environment was cute though, hence the three stars.
This place is so cute! Outside seating and the menu is delish! It has something for everyone. Highly recommend!
Very very good !
Sweet folks. Good food.
Good food thats good for you. All organic ingredients that are very well prepared. Portions are an adequate size as well so you dont need to stuff yourself till you feel uncomfortable. Only complaint was the food to a while to arrive but it was worth the wait.
Great gourmet cafe across from WB Studios. Super fresh, salads are ginormous. Sandwiches are great.
I know that I enjoyed my time and meal there, but didnt realize how good until I just selected Excellent for all the categories. Its clean, simple and has character. That goes for all three: food, decor and service. And thats what Im looking for in a little eatery like this. Its not a coffee house trying to serve munchies, its not a bakery trying to serve a few food items. Its not trying to wow you with an unnecessarily abundant selection of pastries like someone with something to prove. Its got good, creative and well executed dishes. I had the simple bacon and eggs. They were exactly that, but done well. My scrambled eggs were seasoned perfectly, were abundant and an unexpected delight on my clever board/plate. Once again, even the settings and cups are like going to a friends home, but a friend that cared to put a little thought into things.Every baked good I had there was excellent. The scones had the right balance of moist/chewy/crumbly/crispy. The salted caramel cookie had enough caramel and salt to justify their place, but not so much that you felt someone was trying to show off.The whole place is like someone with talent, but really sharing it just because they love the craft, not because they necessarily want the limelight.
Really great food, nice atmosphere, clean and bright. The service is great at the counter, but it can take a long time to get your food. Really pricey, even at LA standards (sandwich, salad and soup set us back $45) but overall it was great. Good to check out if youre in the area
I love the ambience of the place, but it is rather pricey. The lemon bar was delicious, but the pasta was too al dente. Parking was also difficult (street parking only or $1.50 per 15 minutes in a public parking a block away)
Loved it!! Hope its still there. Weve lost a few restaurants lately. This is a good one.
Ive eaten at Olive & Thyme numerous times. The good is always delicious and the staff is always helpful and kind.
Great 0lace for really fresh brunch fare. Lots of impulse buy stuff to tempt you at the register like candy and marshmallows and, weirdly, candles? Intelligencia coffee not free refills, but the iced tea is. Like it there alot.
Fantastic high end cafe and marketplace that does full dinner service at nightVery friendly staff and excellent food. Good for a coffee or something more substantial.Note that its sometimes listed as a gourmet deli but thats misleading since they have an imported cheese counter but dont do sliced meats.Pro tip: Friday night is Burger Night!
These folks were kind enough to donate meals for first responders at LAC+USC. The MRI department thanks you!!! The penne vegetarian dish was excellente!!!
Love the decor and atmosphere of this place. They are like a bakery, marketplace, and cafe in one. They dont have table service; instead you place your order with the cashier and they bring it out to you. Prices are a touch high but still reasonable
This place is very hip and rustic. The food is all very interesting, but very good. Everything is expensive, but I feel you pay for the environment and presentation. The Thai tea latte is delicious!
OMG all these words cant describe how great and legit this hidden gem is I had the mole enchiladas, and my friend had the mole pipián verde Both bomb AF !!!!! The home made chips are also super tasty the establishment is very clean and the staff is super friendly I am great full to have such a truly legit Mexican spot close to home, oh yes parking is very ample
Hade lunch here a few time while I Burbank. The food was excellent. Reasonable prices walking distance from Warner brothers studios
I would have lunch here every day if I could! Their sandwiches and salads are so fresh and delicious. There are a variety of options to choose from. My favorite is their daily soup and a kale salad, with a chocolate chip cookie to top it off! All of their baked goods are delicious.
Oh I cant believe my trip to this place! We went to breakfast there and the service was the worst. The bus guy was the best at helping out. The food was good. So l let the bad service go and moved on. Today I gave it another chance. Got to the restaurant at 345pm I was to late it was closed closing time is at 4pm so remember get there early. One cup of coffee per person no refills. If you take cream and sugar with your coffee youll have to get it yourself
Not cheap. But so cute. Cafeteria style ordering. The food is Instagram-worthy. Picnic tables are also super cute. I had the matcha latte. It was delicious. Parking is not free on weekends. If you mind there is street parking but it is not close.Hipster paradise? Probably. Heads up, on the menu vegan options: drinks and lettuce.
One of the best places to eat in LA, hands down. While this is more traditional fare such as sandwiches and salads, O&T does a fantastic job with the main menu and specials. While you wait in line, look up and check out the specials on the blackboard, but pick out a backup choice from the menu- they frequently run out of specials and arent very good about erasing them when they run out. For parking, look around the corner for valet- its usually $5 and much better than driving around looking for parking.
Super cute with good food and little a la carte items!
Adorable and awesome little restaurant/cafe. My favorite item is the cobb salad but all of the sandwiches are good as well. They make pretty delicious teas and sweets too. This place sells all sorts of cool food items that are on shelves around the shop. You never know what you might find.
Amaizing Breakfast and Service. Very recommended
The customer service is consistently efficient, good character, very nice staff. Will return here again when I get in the area.
Very busy, lines to order food. I had delicious chicken salad with chili/grilled avocado and lemongrass iced tea. Parking around corner in garage and validating inside O&T the best plan.
Delicious sandwiches, huge salads, and giant cookies! Go early, it can get packed. This is a cafe where you order at the counter, take a number, and find a seat...sometimes at a communal table (first come, first serve)...No reservations.
Very good
Great breakfast place! And fantastic service. It is super busy during the lunch hour and hard to find parking, but the delicious food and friendly/helpful staff make it an enjoyable experience!
A cool, casual place with very good food. I was very pleased with the atmosphere and service. Parking is weird since the garage closes early so park on the street.
Love this place!!! The food is awesome and the atmosphere is great! I got the spicy chicken sandwich. Love that the chicken is free range.
Be prepared for a line if you are coming for lunch! A bit chaotic in the layout when you want to order. I was standing in the wrong line for some time before I figured it out. Foods great coffee drinks are excellent. I go for the Gibraltar!
Nice place and good food
Had the Braised Short Rib sandwich and it was borderline delicious. For $15, it is overpriced, but the sandwich seemed well worth it.Olive and Thyme has beautiful interior design and decor. There is a separate station for drinks and beverages such as coffee and daily specials. Theres also wine and sparkling drinks. In addition, there are pastries, which I have not tried, but the option is there. The place seems almost always packed. We came here for a late lunch around 4:00pm. No need for reservations or anything. But please call in to ask if they are busy so you dont have to worry about eating in super loud, crowded place. Thats if being able to talk and have a conversation with your family/friends is a concern. The music isnt overly loud, but the playlist is questionable at most.
What a great (thyme) I had at this adorable restaurant. The interior was lovely, the food was excellent, and the price was reasonable!Once you enter the restaurant, you will first order at the cashier and then seat yourself down. There were plenty of tables available when I came in around 1 pm on a Saturday.Aesthetics: 5/5I really wanted to check this place out because of its cute interior. They offer a mix of both marble and rustic tables, so your food pictures will look aesthetically pleasing no matter where you sit! Its extremely well-lit inside and the entire atmosphere feels very chic and modern.Avocado & Burrata Toast: 4/5Its all I (avo) wanted! Its one slice of sourdough bread with avocado, burrata cheese, tomatoes, and basil on top. I do admit that I was hesitant at first as to whether or not I should get this because $15 seemed a bit questionable for a somewhat simple dish. However, dont underestimate it! Its one of the popular items on the menu, and for good reason. The mixture of ingredients make an excellent combination - very savory from the cheese, yet balanced by the tomatoes. The toast also comes with a balsamic vinaigrette salad on the side, so it can be a filling portion for one!Short Rib Hash: 4/5The short rib is accompanied by red onions, bacon, roasted potatoes, and 2 sunny side up eggs with siracha sauce on top. Another wonderful combination of ingredients! The meat was very tender (a definite plus for me because I hate when the meat is too chewy and/or dry) and the potatoes were delicious. This dish was similarly priced at $14-15, yet I think it would be more filling than the avocado toast. If youre feeling more hungry, I would go with this option. My friend & I shared both dishes and we were both completely satisfied afterwards.Parking: 3/5It seems like finding street parking will be a bit of a hassle, especially if you come at a busy time. Luckily, I was able to find a spot directly in front of the restaurant when I came around 1 pm. There is a valet option, but I think most people dont want to hand over $6.25 just for parking.Highly anticipating my next visit to Olive & Thyme so I can try more delicious items!
I was doing a delivery for Postmates and the girl that rung me up had a very bad attitude, not only that she and her co-workers gossiped (complained) In front of me in regards to the order I was making. the customer complained about how her order and I told them how she wanted her food
Cute place. Nice menu. Didnt like the fact that you need to order at the counter.
From the first visit years ago the food and service have always been incredible. Today the service went beyond all expectations. This place is the best!Still love the food, not a fan of paying for adding extra items and not getting credit for the items I have them remove...
Great ambiance and food. Outdoor seating pleasant. Nice, friendly and helpful staff.
Very busy place to try and eat bit the salad I ordered was delicious! Everything Ive tried has been great. The décor and set up of the restaurant is adorable and super classy.
Delicious food and very chic & cute ambiance!
