I never write reviews, but after my experience yesterday I felt it was important. When I entered the store both employees were on the phone, so I waited patiently at the register for 5-10 minutes. Right before one of the employees got off the phone, a man who had been shopping at the store got in back of me in line. The employee then gets off the phone, looks right past me and motions to the guy behind me Can I help you? I literally felt like I had stepped back in time. Luckily the guy behind me said, she was here first, so please help her.I was returning an item that had never been opened and the box was still in perfect condition. The guy then said he has to charge me a restocking fee. Im all for restocking fees if an item or container it came in has been opened or damaged somehow. It was clear it was in perfect condition. He said that he did not know what I had done with the box while it was in my care, so couldnt give me a full refund. Are you kidding me???????? Then Ill assume you wont put that box back on the shelf because youre not sure what that box has been through? Or are you going to charge the next customer that purchases that box only 80% of the cost? Absolutely ridiculous. He said he could waive the fee if I purchased something of equal value. Once again, this makes no sense. I work in the movie industry, so I will spread the word and I will never shop there again. On my receipt, it says the employees name is Glenn. He needs to work on his customer service.

I also like how they have samples of the materials out so youll know the final density/texture of what youre buying. Great store!

This place is totally great!!! If youre doing anything in regards to sfx makeup prosthetics, cosplay, costumes, sculpting, mold making, foam, concrete, this place has it all! I highly recommend this store to anyone!The staff is totally amazing as well! Theyre highly knowledgeable with all products. Theyll assist you with any questions you may have and on occasion they have seminars they host at their stores to learn how to use their products.Check em out online too. I am just echoing the experience of Laura. Same thing happened to me in regards to being passed over for the male customers. It is worse if I have my son with me ... as if I am not alive.

The two guys at the counter were amazing in helping me find the materials I needed. A woman asked if she could use my photo for the website, I said sure. She took it, then we got on a conversation about videos and said I would gladly do a video, she became very rude and had an attitude for seemingly no reason when I was going to do a free video for them.Because of her rudeness and how she kept speaking to my friend and I we will no longer shop here.

The customer service is Leaps and Bounds beyond what you get from the dude at silpak. If you are a beginner, like me, and ask that guy a question your answer is usually preceded by a heavy sigh and the rolling of eyes.
