I waited in line at the deli for some sliced roast beef and cheese the person working the counter decided to make me wait while she waited on all her fried chicken customers. When I asked her when I was going to get helped, she looked at me and said the deli closes at 5 p.m. now, it was 530 pm at the time. They do not cut meat or cheese after 5 p.m. at this location. This was a waste of almost twenty minutes of my time for nothing. This has been by far the worst Safeway store I have ever shopped at. No management seems to be available to help either.

Dear management, we (me and my childhood friends) swing by your store once a year to stock up for a houseboat trip. OK, going on two decades. THANK YOU! You have always been there. I like the store clerks! They are always friendly and their quick to help me when I need it! Their prices are a wee bit higher than Smiths but they bag your groceries for you and Smiths doesnt! Good store!

Our favorite local grocery store!!!! I love the produce and floral selections, as well as the seasonal items!!!Staff is always helpful and friendly....many of them have been at his store for a very very long time!!!

Safeway also known as Albertsons in So Cal(where I was living before). Shop layout is pretty standard but choice and produce quality is good. Only letdown was that God awful stench of dirty feet that came from a row of freezers in the frozen section!!! Apparently I wasnt the only one who took notice of that problem.. Hopefully it has been fixed by the time Im posting that review.

I used to love shopping at the store but the last few weeks there has been a smell like a dead body or something worse. Last time I went into the store I got nauseous my eyes started watering and I got a terrible headache. This has to be environmentally unsafe for the store to be open and for people to shop here.

I think my experience was 5 star. I like the self checkout and produce I purchased was fresh and desirable. Thank you!

Nothing like the Ralphs in california

The older, skinny, little helper at self checkout on the early morning shift has to be 100% correct at all times. Do not offer to explain what happened at the kiosk. You, as a customer will be wrong. Do not attempt to question him. You also have to look forward to hearing him mock your cognitive reading capabilities & gossip about you to his fellow employees while you quietly walk away. I left without my items but I kept my dignity.

Dropped my review down to a one today after watching the cashier Theresa l gripe and talk down to a customer for no reason the customer was just asking a question. When the customer complained to the manager Theresa l lied and said she did not do anything. I stuck up for the customer and apparently according to Theresa l I am also a liar now. People like this should not be working in customer service. The manager could not even talk to her because she ignored the manager. I certainly would not be able to get away with that at my job without being immediately fired.

Great as well with fresh seafood meats and vegetables,closeer to home then Seafood City in Henderson,but seafood City has a lot more fish.Safeway the people are nice and respectfll

Always great! Safeway has been around FOREVER! This store is clean, well stocked and, has special hours for its Senior citizens. They are very receptive to suggestions made by their customers. 10 stars! ! !

I havent been in a Safeway Super market since the 80s when Albertsons bought them out in CA. I 😍 love this store super great prices on everything & great quality products. I also loved all the seasonal things they had in the center isle for summer. All employees are nice & helpful plus you dont need a club card to get the special discounted prices all you do is enter your phone # its easy & thats how you get the sale prices👍👍

This place is good but holy hell, the lines are always super long including self checkout. They need to leave the self checkouts for those who have 10 items or less because the people who have a full cart should be in the regular checkout lines. 🙄 This gets annoying and then you have those who do not know how to use self checkout, but are still there struggling. If you dont know how to use it, please use the regular checkouts. A lot of us like to get in and out with our 10 items or less in our hands or baskets.

They have Starbucks n are able to use either there.

How About U Guys Make Sure That if Ur Going to Put Certain Items on Sale Order Enough Stock For The People. In 30 Mins The Item Was Out of Stock. Come on Manager Ur Better Than That.

I walked in this store 2 days ago, it smells like an indoor cow farm that has never been cleaned. My eyes started watering I got sick to my stomach and a terrible headache and had to run out of the store, there where other customers running out do to the smell. I still am suffering with headache 2 days later. I talked to an employee who said the toxic smell had been there for weeks and Safeway refuse to do anything because of costs. I will be calling health department Monday to find out what poisoned me and then may follow up with attorney. Public not being protected by Safeway and they dont care because it will cost to much to fix. Safeway has lost my business, a food store that is unsafe to the public, very sad!

I like the store but the short Brown hair girl in the pharmacy is very rude and refuses to even acknowledge visually impaired customers. Ive been there 4 times giving rides to elderly neighbors and had to help them through the process because she refused

Nearly everytime I go they will advertise a product for one price.. But when they register it a checkout, it comes up as another price on my receipt. I have even taken somevproof from my most recent trip July 27,2021At 11am.DO NOT TELL ME SOMETHING IS FREE, JUST TO GET ME TO SHOP THERE.Like I said this is not my first incident like this, and it can be multiple items with this place.. If You do enjoy shopping here, please keep an close eye on what You are being charged. I have been back for a refund and the cashier even says oh this happens all the time.. Fix Your system then Safeway!

Has the best seafood. Pricey but always great & fresh. Oysters are a steal at 99cents . You have to try them.

Prices are ok opened till 10 all in all good place to shop but their money gram return policy is a lie they dont do returns for money gram.

Of course it was busy, because it was Monday. It seemed like they were out of all the things I needed. Cant believe they didnt have any lemon yogurt, because today they had an amazing sale. I just got the important things like bread, crackers, tissue, pop & papertowels. As far as the people that work their. They were amazing. Everyone was very attentive & all asking me if I need help or can they help me find something. So the visit was short & very comfortable. In & out with almost everything I need. Ive been meaning to write a review about this Safeway located in Bullhead City. My wife and I moved to Bullhead City in 2017 not knowing what a Safeway was, but over the years the employees of Safeway actually remembered who we were and always treated us like gold. In fact, one of their employees in the bakery department told me when the truck would come during the pandemic because she knew we had an infant at home. The employees of this specific Safeway literally went out of their way to help us whether it was answering a question about a price or helping us locate a certain product. Their management is wonderful, their cashiers are polite, and their attitudes at self check out are always positive. Finally, special shout outs to Brian in the meat department who was a great cashier first, David in the self check out line, and Joanna the manager who works her butt off!

Safeway was just as expensive as any Safeway. Store. It was clean and busy. Took a while to find what I wanted. While in the bread isle, I noticed they had challah bread. Never, anywhere, have I seen challah, except in certain bakerys. So I was pleased. Glad I went!

Safeway is clean and well lit as usual but they are way over priced, not a good value for your dollar. The mark-up is way out of line. You can get a better bang for your buck at places like Grocery Outlets and even the dollar stores. Walmart is a little better but still high prices. If the consumer knew how much the mark-up was they would probably boycott. I remember back in the 60s, just carpet alone had a mark-up of 300%, ! Crazy!

Its a little more expensive than competing grocers, resulting in smaller crowds so one would stand in shorter lines and recieve quicker customer service.

I bought an Amazon gift card from this store and the manager did nothing to resolve my issue. I sent this Amazon gift card to my son in law, and it wasnt activated. He sent it back to me thinking that Safeway could resolve it. He had already sent an email to Amazon and they said the only thing to be done is to go to Safeway. I previously purchased another gift card from the Safeway in Kingman, and got the same problem. That manager resolved my issue and gave me a good card. He said they were having problems with the computer. So now I am stuck with a $25 gift card for Amazon that doesnt work. Maybe you should check your computer systems. I paid the money and got nothing

Got some BBQ wings off their hot counter. They were horrible. No meat. Had definitely been out way longer than 15 mins. Threw most away. Too bad. I had gotten them b4 and everything they werent bad. But these were horrible. If you get any ask them how long them have been out. If more try than 15 mins. Pass!!?

This grocery chain has done alot to keep up with the always low priced items at my local Walmart. Not only is their selection good but when you add the Safeway app savings it its awesome. My local Safeway has a very good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables along with a sensational deals in their meat department. I also use the pharmacy, Glen has got to be one of the best pharmacists I have had the pleasure to deal with. Also at the pharmacy is pharmacy manager Bill who, no matter what hes doing, loves to say hello to the customers. So please stop in and say hello. And dont forget their deli where they prepare daily a line of fresh dishes that you can box and take home to add a nice touch to dinner with less the hassel of preparing it.
