Horrible customer service... telling us there were no record of the 6 technician visits it took to get the internet working at all & suggested we stop lying. New box never worked properly, which person on phone insisted was impossible. We have had customer service make fun of our concerns & questions, hang up on us, add extra fees instead of credits for non-service & generally act like petulant children rather than be helpful in ANY way... Ridiculous
We have had Suddenlink since May 2021. The service is absolutely horrible on every level. Today I tried to move my payment from Sunday to Monday 1 day later, they said they couldnt because my account is active. I asked to speak with a manager for like the 6th time since we have had this service and told once again that a supervisor is not available on the floor right now. I refused to accept that answer this time and demanded that she make one available and she put me on forever hold. I then proceeded to go online and remove my card from my file and went to paper billing so its back in my control again. Hopefully.

Suddenlink hands down is the worst internet provider I have ever had to deal with. Unbelievable that the service completely fails multiple times a day so I cant get anything done online. Customer service is not helping at all. All they can say is its out in your area. I asked for a supervisor and was told it will take two to four hours for a supervisor to get back to you.
THINK TWICE BEFORE GETTING SERVICE HERE!!! I started out on a $45 plan, which was fine. Then they changed it to a $70 plan without even a notice being sent off. I delt with that for a few months. Then they changed it last month, again without any type of notice, to a limited plan.I GOT A $$$743.00$$$ FOR 1 MONTH OF SERVICE!!!Holy cow!!! They had the nerve to tell me that it was the same service they have always been giving me. Keep in mind that I have not changed my usage AT ALL!! My bill has always been $45 or $70, never a cent different until this month.DONT TRUST THESE GUYS! Customer service is shotty at best, and they will change your package without notice.
I would give a rating of 0 (zero) if l could. I CANCELLED my service due to the fact that my password would not work. They wanted to send a tech out, change the box at my expense. Then l could charge my password. BULL S_ y
If you like spotty service and like having your rates hiked every year then this is the company for you!!!! Started at $50 per month for 400 meg down (never get that not even plugged into the modem) now I’m at $107 for the same service. Dropping these guys like a bad habit when the new company that’s coming in is up and running.

I already spent several hours over the course of 4 days trying to resolve the issues. Between difficulties in reaching help due to a ridiculous phone system that is prone to just hang up on you, customer service who make promises they dont keep or technicians who refuse to do their job then blame it on the customer. I have had enough. Read your reviews. There are reasons why they are bad. Dont try to act like you want to resolve my issue. Fix it on your end for the sake of the customers you still have.
Internet works off and on, but hey good luck trying to get a reduction on your bill when it is off! Their customer service is a joke and takes forever to reach an actual human behind the other end, but they wonder why you don’t contact them every time you have an issue and you’ll have a lot of them if you sign up with these guys! Hopefully a day will come when we have other options out here, but until then they’ll just hear us complain and do nothing about it. Thanks suddenlink!
If i could leave this review without any stars I so would! My fiance and i have been loyal Suddenlink customers for 7 years and for the last two weeks we have had out internet service cutting in and out and this is very frustrating since I work from home. We called Suddenlink 7 times and all agents told us we needed to update our modem so we had them send a technician out to install there modem since this was supposed to resolve the issues. Well guess what?? It DID NOT! The technician left today and our internet went out 3 times so far since he installed the modem that was supposed to fix the issue. I reached out to Suddenlink twice and the last agent i spoke to said that the issue should have been resolved so if it happens again to call back and they could get a technician out here asap at no cost. Well i called again because my service went out the 3rd time and the agent is telling me I need to pay $60 for a technician to come out here! I told her the last agent told me there would be no charge since the modem was just installed and the issue was still continuing. She said there is no note on that so there would be a fee. This is definitely horrible customer service. We have had it with Suddenlink and just want everyone to know they are not worth it. So are definitely looking for better service.
This is terrible service. It goes out several times a day. Im using my Verizon account just to post this review. Its really sometimes link. Because you get service, sometimes. But you pay for everyday. If you werent a monopoly for home service I would go someplace else. Until then I tell anyone who will listen that you are grossly incompetent, terrible service, non existent customer service. I will celebrate the day your ceo is fired, your shareholders lose all their cash, and you close. Until that day my support for you is like yours for me. Sometimes. 1. Signing up you must pay your first months payment up front. Very inconvenient. 2 weeks later youre already being billed for the next month. How does that even make any sense?!2. Auto payment - I was never told I had to make my first 2 payments manually before auto payments kick in resulting in late ppayments.3. EBB discount- I was never told this does not reflect right away. I spoke to 3 people and all 3 told me something different on when it would apply. Tisk tisk.4. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!
I honestly rarely make a review but itll help someone new to the area think twice about getting this service. The reps at the location itself are helpful and they do what they can, however the internet service itself along with technical support are the worst ive ever experienced. Im very patient when it comes to technology and pretty tech savy but in 3weeks i decided enough was enough. Unfortunately i was limited to the services and modifications I could have in my apartment or else i wouldve started elsewhere.
I was promised free HBO when I hope that my Internet and cable after I got connected I did not have HBO so I called the office and they said they had no such packet.. I used to credit card for my deposit and they keep trying to charge my credit card for easy pay and I dont want them to do that.. There charging me for a home phone that I didnt even know that I had.. Now Ive got to go and get the home phone taken off my bill... Maybe take a home phone off my bill and put HBO on my cable will balance out somehow..

These people have the absolute worst customer service, we signed up for internet service with auto pay and paperless, they said after three months we would get a $200 visa card. 30 days later they turn off our internet service. we called them and they told us we will not get the $200 card because our payment was late. We asked why they didnt send us a bill and they replied you didnt request one, and we informed them thats because we signed up for autopay. they said you need to make a online account with a pin# they never sent us. after a hour and a half on the phone speaking with the 5 rudest people we were once again transferred to another person who was able to verify our account and give us a pin# and made the payment. they make it as hard as they can to get the $200 visa card.

We have had this service for just over a year in an apartment that does not allow satellite. We have had nothing but trouble with our cable service. They tell me they will send out a technician to fix it and change our box but so far no new box. The internet is so SLOW a turtle would pass it up in a race. I will be so glad when we are out of here into our own home so we can have our satellite back. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service is the worst I have ever had. I for one would like to see a new company with Great Customer Service come to the Bullhead and Kingman Az area.
Hours of operation is very inconvenient in BHC, AZ office. Once we finally found it to be open, there was a really long line of disgruntled people & only one lady sitting at the desk. She seemed to be very lazy, slow & annoyed to even be there. When I announced that I wanted to turn in my equipment, she told me to leave it on the counter & she would email me receipt of confirmation. I never received this. When I finally called into 800 #, I was informed that the equipment cannot be returned in person, that we have to call 800#. The first rep (Kevin) I talked to was very rude. He was a foreigner & I could not understand him so asked to talk to his manager & was declined to do so. Finally, when I was able to speak to a supervisor (Colby), everything was taken care of in a very professional manner & was treated very well. Thanks Colby for making this situation a much better one!! I just want to say that this office is not doing Suddenlink any favors at all as to gaining customers satisfaction.

Started my internet service for $35 a month, its now up to $94.57 with no additions or improvements. They donated the Suddenlink Community Center, a nice tax write off, but we the customers paid for it.
6 days no internet or cable! Day 7 cable works but have to go into their office and get a new modem now i have internet and no cable NOT!! what i consider a good experience

Anthony, the tech who came out to install our internet and cable was a real nice guy. He was professional and knew what he was doing. Very friendly. We are very happy with the install. Our only problem was your lack of customer service from the overseas people you have answering your phones. I was transferred 5 times and was hung up on twice. They were only interested in selling me a new cell phone and didnt care about solving my problem we needed fixed, I will have to try another day.

This is hands down the WORST company to deal with on this planet. I have been cheated out of money when the internet was down and not refunded. I have been lied to by techs when I was told there was a good connection at the service head outside only to hook up the modem at the head and have no service, What a den of thieves this company is. Plus, when you discontinue service they do not pro-rate a refund for the rest of the billing cycle. Where does that money go?i would give them a 0 star rating
These are by far and away the worst providers of internet services I have had the great displeasure of dealing with, once you sign up there is no talking to a person. The automated system is just there to frustrate you give you the run around and generally pass you off. They will absolutely cut your internet out without warning forcing you to pay a bill for a month that hasnt finished yet. If you want slow service with a good amount of buffering and lag they got you all the way. Basically if youre looking to get robbed and extorted look no further these people are the worst.
Sure they have the strongest internet. Sure they dont have outages that often...but you never get the full 1 gig more like 400-600 and they raise their rates whenever they want for any amount they feel. $12 this month $20 another month next thing you know you are paying $200 for internet and cable. Oh and the customer service is horrible. They dont care what ur bills says or even if they are in the wrong. Filed FCC report.
Internet connection constantly goes down throughout the month for long periods of time in Bullhead City, AZ. They know this but do not do anything about it because they have a monopoly on high speed internet here. I understand if it only goes down for 2-3 hours a couple times a month for upgrades. But they are down 2-3 DAYS a WEEK!. This is terrible and they should prorate their customer bills when this happens. In todays world, you need an internet service provider that can give you quality and consistent internet speeds. SUDDENLINK is NOT a company that will provide this for you.

If you like your internet to turn off every hour one hour join sometimeslink. If you like trouble customer service join sometimeslink. I would give these people 0 stars if I could do to the fact they will not come out and fix the issue. Suddenly I owe $132 out of nowhere and they turn my service off. As a student who goes to school online and budgets all her bills carefully this is devastating. Honestly all I can do is cry.
Quite literally the worst internet and cable provider in history. Recently had to drop the cable because their monthly prices skyrocketed for no apparent reason. After years of constant cable interruptions an unfixable channel list that would never display the names of what was on at the time. At some point we just stopped calling them to try and fix it because it never worked.Tried to put the money to better use by upgrading our internet. Imagine my surprise when Suddenlink had managed to make their upgrades WORSE than their previous version. My internet speed just tanked so hard after the upgrade. The connection is always unstable and completely unpredictable.This companys service has been absolutely nothing but frustrating. And were stuck with it.

EVERYTHING is out, phone-internet-tv, & nobody has fixed ANYTHING! We have been without service for over 4 weeks! We have made countless calls to get things fixed & they either dont fix it or nobody shows up! This has been elevated to urgent several times with supposedly the supervisor tech & still NOTHING!! If I could give less than one star I would!
Service drops at least an hour a day, making doing anything online during those times very difficult. Anyway finally had enough and called to cancel my service and the call center people just kept hanging up on me. Unfortunately they offer the best non-DSL service in the area so, pay these clowns or deal with dial up.

Internet is extremely bad. Be careful when chosing a plan, if you chose 400mbps thats the max youre offered and will more than likely only get 100mbps. Can never reach anyone and when you do theyre clueless. You get charged for swrvice calls even if its their fault. Company just tales advantage of people who have no other choice for internet.
This company is complete trash. I am a teacher and put my account on a seasonal hold for three months in the summer and about a month in the winter. It takes at least two hours for them to turn the service back on, and then my bill gets tripled in price. Its another hour plus on hold to try to get someone to fix the bill back to where it should be. All that and the internet is slower than an obese 80 year old trying to run a marathon.

I have had this service for 4 months I ordered the premier package for tv with internet with 1 main TiVo and 3 minis when the tech came to my house he only had 1 main and 1 mini so he set up basic cable boxes in the other two rooms and said it would take a while to connect and left the first two weeks had only internet after that they did something over the phone and got two TVs working told me a tech would come by have yet to see one 4 months in still 2 TVs work now I have issues with my internet always having to unplug and replug in I have been constantly calling being told I would have a credit because I’m not received my services still no credits still paying for service I’m not received worst costumer service

Suddenlink is the worst. Its automated service does not offer customer service. Their billing got backlogged due to COVID and then they turn your service off. This was my experience: no bill received for October. I called the they explained that due to COVID there was some system problems and a bill will be sent for October. October bill was received and the check was mailed. 3 days later they turned my service off due to non-payment. I had to pay with a credit card because to have the service turned back on. So now I have made a double payment. Hopefully a better company will see the potential growth in AZ and invest in the network. Until then, Mohave Broadband and dish will be my next option.

I bought a vacation condo 2 years ago and reside there about 6 times a year for about a week at a time.After 1 year they raised my cost for internet only by 152% and I have my own modem . They lie about everything and every time I had to have them out it took several tries and days every time. They would say they were there at and I didnt answer while I was standing at the gate. They lie. Stated no reception so they couldnt call several times.The worst customer service I have ever experienced. 20 times worse than AT&T which is really bad.So fustraiting.
Waited 20 min. To talk to person. Finally gave up and left message for call back. Waited 4 hrs. So called again waited on hold for 30 min. Asked to get billing date changed. “We don’t do that” was my answer. Bill was 137.00 this month with a 10.00 land line bill. So I’m paying 120. For internet and poor customer service! I’m changing!
I called today to get information for my elderly mother in law to get internet service. Representative actually laughed at me when I explained why she wanted it. Rude, condescending. When I was moving I called to cancel my service. I had been renting a box from them and so I asked what to do with the box.The representative told me that I could just get rid of it and I wouldn’t be charged. I thought this was unusual, so I asked her if she was sure of this. She assured me that she was and that I wouldn’t be charged. The next month a $100 bill shows up for the modem!I called them about this and have been fighting them on this for about 4 months now. The charge finally disappeared last month and now it has reappeared and they are attempting to charge me again.They refuse to allow me to speak to a supervisor and insist there is nothing they can do and that I have to pay this charge. This is FRAUD!
Many, many times we can not get internet service or a trained technician to resolve our outages. At one point they even had us down for four weeks. And no one could resolve the problem. I despise Suddenlink.
These people could not be more rude and worthless. Everyone I have spoken to is either giving you one price then the monthly price is coming out higher or they act like youre interrupting their day and bothering them for having to talk to you. By far, this is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Stay away, or just call them, try to get something done and see for yourself.

I was sold a cell service that was billed to me but never delivered. Still billing me because I had the wrong browser which was not compatible with them and could not disconnect through the internetNo amount of complaint by phone is effective. So in exasperation after an hour I said sent the bill to collections. They will handle it by phone. Just know that hell will freeze before I pay
My mom passed away earlier this month. After 5 different phone calls to their BARELY English speaking call service, trying to stop by their store and service buildings (both closed to public due to covid) and trying everything their service reps said and a website that keeps giving error messages, Im DONE. All I was trying to do was return their equipment back to them. Screw Suddenstink, try suing a deceased person. Horrible company to deal with all the way around, that is why we dont use them in my home.

Very poor quality of internet service, keeps going down. When I phoned to complain first time went through all the information and sent out tech. but when I phoned again claimed they could not find my name on the account, looks as if they have their customer service off shore which could be an issue.

Internet cuts out every 5 to 10 minutes. Brand new equipment didnt help. My phones, sprint hotspot works better, which is how my kids have had to do their homework and classes.

I was promissed many callbacks from managers and never recieved one. I was lied to by customer service about Technicians being sent to fix my internet that never showed up. This terrible company has a monopoly in our small town. Its either them or Frontier which is practically dial up. I had their lowest plan for years since I live alone and work too often to use it more. After 3 years they told me I was going over my data, which is strange because I never changed my usage habits. Now I shell out $90 a month for unlimited. Of course it goes off all the time. I came home from work last night (Sunday night) to no net. I reset the system a few times and then called. They tried to do something from there, didnt work, now I have to wait until WEDNESDAY for someone to come out.This company is really just the worst. I used to live in LA and the only time I lost net was when the power was out. We need to get together in this town and just create a local service provider. Wed be able to have one that understands the equipment needs to work in both extreme heat AND extreme wind. If anyones got the bank roll, I got the know-how.
Avoid Suddenlink if at all possible. You cannot talk to a representative unless you sit on the phone for five hours. The connection is being constantly lost. When you work remote and your job depends on internet connectivity, this is not the company to use. Poor customer service, poor connectivity, down right unacceptable. I didnt want to even give one star, but that it the only way to post a review. Also over billed for two months and never did receive the credit.
I have seen their service improve greatly over the last few months so I will edit my review and change to a 3 star to date. We have had decent speeds ranging from 70 - 250 and almost no outage or down time at all. I heard they are performing rebuilds of their network and if this is the case good job Suddenlink. For the last few months we are fairly happy, however we are still not getting even close to the speed we pay for (400) so they still have improvements to make!(This is my original review of a 1 star!)Despite all of the negative comments I have seen regarding Suddenlink I wanted to give them a chance for service. We are new to area and wanted a fast connection for our winter home. My children attend online schooling and we work remote from home so I need a fast connection. We have daily connectivity issues that range from a router power cycle to 1-2 hr. outages almost daily. These interruptions are unacceptable and I have called in for a resolution more than once with no luck! I have received poor customer service and representatives in a call center with no latitude to perform a resolution. Network techs in the area have also reported many connectivity issues and that they are working on a resolution! They told me that Suddenlink was just recently purchased and I really hope the new owner does something about this network and performs the rebuilds necessary to provide the service they are actually selling to customers!
Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever encountered. I can’t even begin to count the number of hours spent either on the phone, waiting for a callback, waiting on a technician. I was overcharged, they admitted they made a mistake, and i have still had to make 5 separate calls, and am in fact on the phone with them as i write this for the exact same thing.

Lost internet service and TiVo capability. call tech support several times did everything they said to do. Did not resolve the issue. Technician came out in a minivan with Florida license plates. Could not figure out what the problem was in the house. Went out to the main box on the street did something. Started working. Tommy that works very weak signal coming into the house you didnt know how or service worked at all. And then they dumped me $60 that was something wrong in there in they want credit it. I talked with the customer service and then the supervisor all that lasted for half an hour. I had the same problem with DirecTV at the same time they wouldnt shut me off even after I told them to shut It off it was a promotion with no contract.I wasnt using my television. My ex husband had moved out.After three months I find out that I still had Suddenlink.And now its on my credit historySo yes I hate Suddenlink
They told us the reason our internet constantly goes out and crashes is cause “the ground gets too hot and then your internet won’t work” but it happens 24/7 trash service if I could give 0 stars I would.
I pay $160/month for the highest level internet Suddenlink offers. It works about 50% of the time. When I call, I am told a technician can come to my house to fix the issue for $70. When I say I dont feel like I should pay extra to make sure the service I am paying for actually works, I am told I can pay an additional $7/month to waive the service call fee. My bill is never adjusted even though my internet service is out half the time. Other wifi companies in my area have waiting lists and I am on them! I cannot wait to switch companies and stop throwing my money away for Suddenlinks horrible service. 😡
