They completely updated the whole place! It looks amazing and they have a new owner now. The manager who works there is so nice and very helpful, I got exactly what I needed quickly without a hassle

Loved it! The lady here gave us great tips on what to buy and where to fish. At the end we ended with one bass that we immediately released. But it was fun. Try the river (early before the key ski starting to scare the fish away. Good store. Good advices. Nice people. I am not local, but when I come back this is the store I will go to.

BHC is the new name of Hillbillys Bait & Tackle Shop. I found it under Hillbilly on my phone though. Great service, a lot of good Ideas from the sales lady. They have the sought after bait needle! and a whole lot more! Rods and reels too! Competitive priced quality merchandise. Check it out for your self, I am from Vernal, Utah.

Had a wonderful experience here. The owner, Hillbilly, was so nice and inviting. My husband and him could just talk for hours. He knew all the best spots for my husband to go fishing solo and spots in case we wanted to take our sons, who are still too young for fishing. I loved how he calley his wife mama and they showed us tons of pictures of fish others have caught. Will definitely be back again.

Friendly service are you kidding. The owner sits on her butt and doesnt help you. Bought a bait that was no good refuses to take it back. Its like Im in Mexico. Just gonna go to Wal-Mart or Big5 next time. Same stuff and much cheaper..

Great place to go ask questions and get honest help. Plus the owners have photos up of third catches plus customers catches. Would definitely recommend!

I went there today twice. Once at 9:10 AM. And at 11:10 AM. They were closed. Tried to call them numerous times. No answer. If they’re going to advertise that they are open. have the common courtesy to be there. I didn’t know they had a casualty in the family.

The guy taking care of the store, was awesome and very informative. Awesome customer service and very welcome. I highly recommend this shop.

This shop was supposed to be open at 8am on Saturday. We went at 850 am and 1100 am and the shop was closed. Wasted some good fishing time trying to find bait. The circle k has bait across the street thankfully. I wont bother going in there again. My brother and I were going to buy a couple expensive swimbaits as well so your loss BHC bait and tackle. Times like this you miss hillbilly he ran a great shop.

Drove all the way from Meadview to check out lures but left immediately when I was followed by the ownerso dog ( pit bull?). Im terrified of dogs and I feel like it should be kept on a leash, as no matter how friendly a dog is it is still an animal and can be unpredictable. I also had my toddler with me which made it seem less safe. Extremely unprofessional! Theres a poor selection

This place is never open, went by there several times throughout the week and weekend when they say they’re open... Unprofessional on running a business I would rather go to Walmart or better yet a bass pro shop

Great small town bait and tackle shop. Hillbilly and his wife were friendly and offered some great advice for local fishing, as well as where they would it would not fish from.
