There are not enough positive words in the English dictionary to describe what a pleasure it was working with Pure Performance. I simply wanted my boat de-winterized and cleaned up a bit. Not only did they do a phenomenal job with cleaning the boat, but they also found and fixed an issue I didnt even know I had! Apparently I had two different prop sizes on my Bravo 3 which severely cut into the performance. Once the prop was replaced it increased my MPH by 15! It planes faster and rides better all because Kevin and his crew at Pure Performance paid attention to detail. If you want boat service done right, do not hesitate to give them a call.

Kevin is a fantastic marine mechanic. If you want your boat fixed, and fixed correctly with an honest appraisal of cost then he meets the bill. I took my older model Bravo 2 drive to two other mechanics to diagnose and fix a vibration They could not, or quoted a ridiculous price. He knew instantly what it was and what needed to be done and fixed it. This is a solo shop and he is very very busy so dont go into it in a hurry. Fast doesnt mean better. However, I wouldnt take my boat any where else after this last repair. Vibration was gone, and boats runs better than before.Thank you Kevin.

They put a nose cone on my lower unit and it had a 20 mile an hour top end difference wow!!!!!

Cant say enough about this company! Kevin and Andrea rock! They went above and beyond to help a lost soul (ME). Didnt take advantage of me when they could of. They assisted me the whole way and literally saved me thousands of dollars in the process. I will only be taking my boat to them from this point on. Try them and you will have the same experience I had. I wish a few other boat companies would do this and not take advantage of just because of owning a boat. I know it is a luxury but it shouldnt have to be that expensive ever and Pure Performance Marine & Propeller proved to me that they are not greedy. Thanks Kevin and Andrea for everything! Great friendly service. Knowledgeable staff. Upgraded my prop on my pontoon boat - found out that I had the wrong prop installed from the factory. They told me the new recommended prop would make a difference - they were right! Smoother, better hook up and hole shot and zero cavatation. Win - Win. Thanks guys... SH

Related to Outboard work only.To keep it short: needed powerhead swapped and was eager for them to do the work. Throughout the process it was delayed beyond when they said theyd get to it and poor communication (would have to call and get updates throughout). Would have been a happy customer as they did work with me to find the correct replacement powerhead, yet when I got the boat back it didnt run properly (rough idle and stalled). Gave them a lot of money for an incomplete job and now have to spend more somewhere else since they wont return my calls.Update: talked to Kevin who was willing to make the job right and find out why it isnt running correctly and fix accordingly. He was out of town originally when trying to get in touch hence the communication issues.

If you need prop or lower end repairs done, this is the place to go.I had lower end and prop repairs done at a Yamaha service repair shop resulting in unbelievably bad prop chatter. The repair shop said that I needed to purchase a new Yamaha “SDS” with technology to eliminate the prop chatter.I called Kevin at Pure Performance Marine Propeller and told him what I was being told at another shop. He stated that what they were telling me made no sense to him and to bring the boat by and he would check it out. When I arrived at his shop he stopped what he was doing and swapped out my prop with one of his and sent me out for a test drive. His prop completely resolved the prop chatter noise.Upon return to his shop he informed me that my prop was extremely out of balance and that is why I was having the chatter problem. He allowed me to use his prop until he could fix the inferior workmanship that the other prop repair shop had done.The service that I received at Pure Performance was exceptional and I would recommend them to anyone who needs knowledgeable and superior service.

This is a family owned business, and Andrea and Kevin are very friendly and attentive to their customers particular needs. My SeaRay Sundancer requires a large and very expensive Bravo II prop, which I know from experience is never in stock anywhere nearby. Andrea was very accomodating about getting the prop in within two days, and also was willing to work with me on the price in order to make it more affordable. As with many family owned businesses, it is a pleasure doing business with folks who have a real interest in taking care of their customers. I wont hesitate to go back for other needs in the future, as boating is certainly not an inexpensive hobby, so it is important to know that you are dealing with a merchant that is honest and fair.

Fit me into last minute but put props on wrong sides when motors were labeled... didnt offer refund for work or cost of correcting his mistake.

We operate a rental company and use them to refurb props. Beware they never show up wen they say. Do not return props. Do not seem to care when contacted. Very bad business practices!
