Definitely a great selection of items. Very rarely are things not in stock. The staff are helpful and the cooked food options are tasty for evenings when no one wants to cook. Ill visit again.

Always 100%, except the self checkout was very weird. We had to keep scanning and rescanning things, it kept telling us to take stuff off of the surface and then put it back on again. Im considering stopping using self checkouts all together because they just end up needing correction so many times. Otherwise I absolutely love everything about wegmans.

I love shopping late in the afternoon and being able to find everything I wanted their produce department is the best in the city everythings always so fresh have a salad I bought from there and some shrimp oh my God what a meal

Wegmans is incredible, I love every single option they have for their customers. But, Wegmans pricing is very high and can be expensive specifically around the holidays. Other than that, its a pretty rad place 🤷‍♂️

My mom fish was spoiled, its never clean anymore and very unorganized. The female manager is very rude towards certain people. Dont remember her name but her tag shows that she speaks arabic

This is my go to Wegmans. It can get a little hectic at times but it always has the products that I need in stock and the pharmacists are really kind.

I love Wegmans the food is fresh. I brought a strawberry shortcake I hate strawberries but the cake is just so good. I pick the strawberries off the cake. I know you dont care about all that but, I do.

So youre thinking of grocery shopping but cant decide where. You turn to the reviews to help make the call. Wegmans has groceries! Also extensive prepared foods. Think of a food. Its probably there. This Wegmans in particular is smaller than a lot of others. A little easier to get around, though there are some cramped turns. Us old timers remember when this location was open 24 hrs. That bygone era, a long past golden age. Also there are fewer cashiers now, so the lines can be a little longer. A lot to think about, while you shop. Youll probably run into somebody from work.

The store is wonderful. However, I would give the chocolate-covered strawberries vendor 6 NEGATIVE stars because of his decidedly terrible service to me as a customer. Shame on the store for allowing such poor service!

Great store as far as what you need, was NOT happy when they renovated the self checkout so it does not accept cash, have to go to front counter for two or three items, they could open more registers, since I see a lot of workers wandering or standing around doing nothing.

Too many kids work in the sub shop and not taking their jobs seriously. I ordered a BLT and I got two thin slices of bacon at the bottom of a large roll. I dont consider that a BLT!!!!!

Every time I go into this particular Wegmans there is a fair skinned dark haired cashier on the market cafe side that is very unwelcoming every time I come to checkout. Today I approach her and she tells me she is not open yet. I walk back to the other side of the store to check myself out at one of the self checkout registers. There is no line so I finish quickly. I walk back over to the market cafe side to exit the store since that is the side that I parked on and I see this same woman checking someone else out. This all happened in less than 5 mins. I’m not happy at all with the customer service I receive here.

Its a wegmans so it has fantastic product and the workers are all amazing. Not a fan of some of the people blowing stop signs in the parking lot though.

My sub had so much Mayo on it it was literally gushing out of the sides of the sub and also made my bread extremely soggy. I got my oil to the side to avoid the soggy ness. I almost threw up just looking at it

Great fresh produce, never got veggies or fruit thats somewhat iffy here. Meats & deli are good but very pricey. Many of Wegmans store brand products...like dairy, cereals, frozen,can goods,paper products are quite good & inexpensive. Their brand coffee is better than any name brand! Almost always crowded, parking spots are likely not going to be real close unless youre lucky..maybe go very early.Pleasant helpful staff.

Do you honestly want my review? I think Wegmans is a good place to take your lunch break with some healthy food options. I do not normally review business but this supermarket has never disappointed me with its customer service and selected of food at their restaurants.

5 stars all the way! Wegmans is the best! This is my favorite store. I moved out of the city 3 years ago but i still go into the Amherst Black Rock store occasionally. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. This is a cool store. The store is always clean and the food is always delicious. Also, thank you to the awesome Head Chef who went out of his way today! Thank you for the beautiful flowers. You truly made my day!

I was having trouble with the app and my cake order wouldnt go through. I contacted them the morning of my sons 2nd Birthday party and they made sure they got my cake made on time and it was one of the best cakes Ive ever gotten from them!! Im soo appreciative. They came clutch and saved the day :)

Wegmans always amazes me. Friendly staff and clean facilities. They always have a great selection of organic products. I had to pick a pre-paid birthday cake up and we were running late. Catering was nice enough to bring the cake out to my car because my toddler was with me. The Wegmans family knows how to cater to their customers and keep them wanting to come back. Wegmans brand ANYTHING never disappoints. Im a fan of their jarred sauces, paper products, dairy, lunch meat, almond milk... Sure you can go buy named brand stuff at Tops when its on sale, but you can buy Wegmans brand anything every week and always pay a great price. Kudos to the Wegmans family.

I’ve just about had it with this place. Today I had a woman block me in as I was exiting an aisle, yelling “you’re in the middle” at me. And a man reach out right in front of me to open a cooler I was about to open so I had to quickly move out of his way. The pandemic clearly means nothing to the shoppers, and employees aren’t doing anything about it. I’m happy to say I will never enter another wegmans again.

I love Wegmans. They have everything I need, the bakery is the bomb, they carry a bunch of gourmet items, and the vibe is just great. Theirs always good music on, and the employees are great. Also the bathrooms carry diapers & wipes if you have little ones and whole store is clean. Love my Amherst st and Elmwood location. But all of them are great

This is an amazing store but unfortunately when you call them to ask questions and if they don’t know it they just cut your call saying hold on! Atleast if you don’t know about it you shouldn’t keep someone on hold and cut it. Very disappointing.

They have a flower shop, coffee shop, prepared foods, sushi, deli, salad bar etc. Their parking lot has ample spaces to park. You can also enjoy the upstairs eating area. Plenty of space to have your own relaxing space.

Wegmans Amherst Street BUFFALO NY is my store with delicious food 🥘 and excellent service. I shopped there today for my Christmas 🎄 dinner menu centered on 🥩 prime rib roast. The butcher KATHY asssisted me with my selection preparation to cook the roast. I want to thank her for her exceptional service!Happy Holidays🎄

Large selection of groceries, but the produce can be hit or miss, and the store is always crowded unless you go late at night. Unlike other stores with large parking lots, you cannot always find a spot to park thats far away from other cars. Someone hit my parked car while I was shopping and left without leaving any note.

Really busy but tommorow is mothers day. I really like that they have cards for when holidays are upcoming. Got a funny sloth card for my mum.

Unlike the horrifying service and food i got from tops i left a review about. The service was amazing food was on point and the sushi for being from a grocery store and not a restaurant was banging. It hit different. Thank yoU wegmans for being the grocery GOAT.

Weggiemans. Still one of my favorite supermarkets even as I’ve moved out of Buffalo.

I celebrated my 2nd wedding anniversary this year on Tuesday October 13,2020 with a stay home dinner catered from wegmans from my husband ....I must say that the food was delicious down to the last bite. My husband Pastor Clide bought our favorites such as a shrimp, a fresh fruit, and cheese platers!! A cheese cake topped with cherries was our dessert of choice since we ate our top of the wedding cake from last year. I must say this ANNIVERSARY was so wonderful from Wegmans in light of the present pandemic situation we with the help of GOD and Wegmans foods were able to enjoy our special day even more!!! Great job Wegmans on Amherst Street.

Good selection, but high prices on many basic items though. A little too busy somewhat often, and security has made huge mistakes, and been too aggressive, while making mistakes, with People I know. Good People. Wegmans makes too much money to be incorrectly accusing good people of things that would not affect their bottom-line anyway, especially when aggressive and Wrong. Security there must be dealt with or done away With!

Overpriced! Never a sale! Did I mention overpriced! Mostly great quality but as I said before overpriced! And if youre a stuck up yuppie from the Rochester area then you fit right in at Wegmans as a shopper and absolutely as a worker!!

Spent 30 min. In there. Went down every aisle, didnt have anything that I was looking for. And if it was there the prices were outrageous. Never going back, hell went to the nearest Tops and had everything I needed.

A fine place to shop. Always an employee available to help you when needed, which is a rare quality now a days.

There is no better or less expensive place to shop for every day products. Ask local farmers !! And, if its the very best quality for your money that youre looking for (A little more expensive on meats seafood and pastries but by far worth every penny), then Wegmans is definitely the place to go.

I hate the fact that I need to download the app to do a to-go or p/u order. I like it better when I was able to call over the phone.Service was slow. The girl that finished my subs was rude. And just an all around bad experience.Prices are super high, so u tend not to shop there too much at all.I only came today because my son wanted a weg sub after his chemo treatment. Dont know if I will patronize Wegmans again, or ever.
