I stopped here helping a relative looking at used Subarus. The Google reviews I read led me to high expectations. My expectations were exceeding by the visit to the garage / lot. We talked with Don about potential interest in buying a car there, he is knowedgable, straightforward, transparent, professional, polite, courteous and gave us plenty of time. The shop has framed certficates on the wall awarded to three different Smukalls, so it is obviously a proud family business, and rightly so. Just like the Subaru cars that they specialize in servicing and selling, the place is smart, solid, and unpretentious. I suspect that they are just as reliable as the cars, as well. Thanks for the time, and I hope my relative gets to do business with you.

Avoid this place at all cost! They cut corners, don’t replace parts that were supposed to be replaced, and then charge double the quote price. Work that they do will not hold, and cause you more problems down the line. Please please please find a different shop! Very unprofessional

Honest, trustworthy, very fair, no pressure, reliable, excellent work (including warranty), helpful/patient/friendly down-to-earth staff, flexible (in certain situations, willing to install a used part such as when i cant justify cost of new on my 203k miles Forester). Hard working and intelligent staff who dont b.s. you, but instead explain required work with benefits/pros/cons so you can make well informed decisions. Very affordable.Wouldnt trust any other shop to work on my Subies. Purchased a 2009 Outback here last year in great condition for a very reasonable price, and they resolved minor issues under warranty and in a timely fashion. I trust their fairness and the quality of their pre-owned cars so much, i just purchased another 2009 Outback from them. In fact, i trust them so much over other Buffalo shops (even those so nearby i could walk), im willing to pay $50 to Uber to/from every time my Subies require servicing.These are good people. Cant say enough good about their work and their pre-owned vehicles.

I bought a car from this place last October and maybe drove my car 1000 miles, I am a 17 year old kid and I bought my first car from here and I can tell you that I am not impressed with this place at all. I bought a 2012 Subaru Impreza for 5000 dollars and they told me this car would last me some time but it starting sounding really bad and it turns out the transmission blew. I never drove the car any farther than 20 miles and only from work and back. I gave them my car to take a look at and they had it In the shop for almost 2 months and barley even worked in it.

Hands down the most honest, trustworthy, and hard working shop around. Wouldnt trust anyone else with my Subaru...If youre looking for a pre owned Subaru in amazing condition this is the place to go. 10/10 would absolutely highly recommend to anyone!!

What a great place!! Could not have had a better experience. Our daughter recently moved to Buffalo and needed service. Don jr was extremely nice. I spoke to him several times on the phone before her appointment. He evaluated the issue for an hour and told her what the issue was but did not charge her. I tried to pay and he said no, she’ll either come back or not. She did take her car back for the work he diagnosed. They made sure she got to work safely. Car is fixed. Daughter happy. What could be better?!?1? Thx Don. She will be back.

Great service and good prices. Unfortunately they diagnosed what I hoped wasnt the problem. But they did a fantastic job and the price was reasonable. Very personable, honest and they keep you posted on whats going on. Ill definitely be a customer of theirs from now on.

I have been doing business with smukall performance for several years. From picking up parts, small service, engine/transmission repair and even buying a car. I would make this my 1st stop for every automotive need. I recommend them to people daily and with out fail I hear the same good experiences. They are the absolute best Subaru group around, and they even fixed my Jeep! Ill keep coming back as often as I can, I only wish they were closer to me (I drive an hour plus to do business) but it is worth every mile.

Bought as 2008 Impreza there last June. Price was 500 above the online listing, I was promised a refund and never received it. There was a door that wouldnt open, I was told the part would be in in a week. It wasnt and my calls were never returned. Great car, good price, friendly people but I cant help but feel a little bit taken.EDIT: I called and left 2 or 3 messages over the next month but never heard back regarding the check, I gave up after that. I take you at your word that you sent it but I didnt receive it and when I called I wasnt told that it was sent only that I would be hearing back when senior was available.

It was recommended that I go here when I got my first subaru by someone who drives about 50 miles to take their car there, so I knew they must have been good. They are very honest and thorough with what they do, and keep you in the know as they work on your car. I have recommended them to others and only feel comfortable taking my subarea to Donny to have work done now.

Had a horrible experience. I came in to get my engine rebuilt and I wish I never did. I ended up waiting close to a month past the estimated finish date. And the price magically doubled by then. Once I got the car back I decided to go get it tuned. I get to my tuner and he notices the coil pack to the cylinder I went in to get rebuilt wasn’t even connected. So i was running on 3 cylinders on a freshly rebuilt engine. Also they had a sti turbo which I decided to upgrade too which was never installed, so I got scammed because it was on the bill clearly. At the same time I got my clutch replaced and to cut it short, I had to bring the car back 3 times for them to figure out why the clutch was screaming constantly. If you still decide to go here after reading this I wish you the best of luck!!
