Friendly service in a clean, professional and welcoming environment. All employees were wearing PPE gear, giving the feeling that they cared about the customers. Thank you Federal Meats, no wonder how and why you have managed to stay in business for so long.

Federal meets was a very well servicing business to visit. Only one thing they never put our chicken breasts in our bag and we had to take a taxi to get there so it cost us $20 extra and chicken breast we didnt get. However they did say they would give us a store credit the next time we came in so they made up for it in that way and we appreciate it thats all.

My go to for ribs, steak, chicken, pork, appetizers. Incredible pastries and cake. Very clean. Pandemic social distancing in force. Outstanding customer service. Good parking. On Delaware Ave near Elmlawn Cemetery. Definitely top tier for of your meat needs and sweet tooth. To say the least!

I came in the store for my first time ever. I could see that the store was extremely busy as I even had to wait in the line outside. When I was next in line, I was served by a very polite young man. I do not recall his name exactly, but it was an A name, perhaps Alan or Alec. I came in for turkey roll ups, as I’ve heard about from my sister who is a frequent shopper. There were not enough in the counter, but the young man took the time to make them fresh for me, all during an extremely busy point in the day. I was extremely please by this young mans patience. I will be returning.

There were plenty of butchers on on hand. Many people were buying a lot, stocking their freezers I heard some saying, but I was taken care of in a reasonable time do to the amount of workers. Very pleased with the quality.

They deserve a 6 Star Rating. Superior to Wegmans and Tops in quality, variety and most importantly customer service. Wegmans has a faux-meat dept. anyway; just a crew of people dressed up like butchers pushing around meat carts. And Tops, seriously does anyone even shop there? The Federal Meats staff are friendly, engaging and knowledgeable on every aspect of meat; everything from shelf life to cooking temps. The entire ethos of the store seems to center around a rarified, exceedingly fleeting concept called customer service. They will even carry an elderly persons order to their car. I can think of only one other business in WNY that understands the importance of customer service and thats Valu, and theyve been around as long as Federal.

I wish I could give 0 stars. My 80 yr old mother went into this shop before Christmas. The one handicapped spot was taken by a non handicapped person (no tag or license plate). So, my dad had to drop her off to walk in the slush filled lot with her walker. When she got inside to ask who was parked there, a woman, who was not handicapped, said she did. When told it was illegal, she proceeded to fight with my mother. The 3 men working in the store did NOTHING to help, nor did they call the police to report it. My mom was so shaken. I called Federal Meats corporate & spoke to a man I shall not name, but whom is an executive. I told him what happened and he actually laughed at me. He said, “What do you want me to do?” I said to tell the store to enforce their parking. He said “That’s not our responsibility’.Then I asked why didn’t they help my mom, and he said, “as a man, I know not to come between two fighting women”. I was dumbfounded. Sexism, as well as a total disregard for the elderly and handicapped are alive and well at Federal Meats.

I love Federals. My mother-in-law turned me on to them years ago. Friendly, skilled butchers and great customer service. Prices are no different than Wegmans and if you buy sale cuts of meat (the strip steaks are always on sale it seems), its cheaper than Wegmans. Their prepared meals are excellent. Lets keep this locally owned business in business. Shop Federals yall!

Ive always gone here for meats for home. This year I was in a pinch for hams for my staff because the place I usually got them was out of business. Larry and Tom went out of their way to find what I needed in a short time. Excellent customer service!

I forgot how fresh, clean and friendly Federals was. Havent been there in a couple months. Will be back soon, worth the extra stop.
