It was great to shop there. The meats are super fresh and at the time I went, there wasnt any long lines and the people were friendly and funny. I enjoyed myself. 5 stars for sure.

As usual, my experience at Camellia Meats was good. The only sad part was they were out of mild sausages and smoked turkey drumsticks. It is Thanksgiving season, so hopefully they will restock very quickly!

They have all types of meat packages and Ive never had a problem with the quality of their products. It can get a bit crowded and they close at 6pm on the weekdays. We were in and out in good time!

Very scary, cashier, the stock person and some of the employees behind the meat counter do not have on masks, when I asked the cashier where was her mask and she was pregnant she became irrate when asked with another cashier that was standing up behind her spraying our hands with alcohol as we came in, and they both kept saying we not required to wear masks, are you kidding me!!! Camelia meats on Genesee St in Buffalo NY please inform and do mandate masks for your employees when they are servicing the public, its NYS law and you are not following that law and policy that was set in force by Governor Cuomo for the state of NY, I am so done right now!!! Risking my safety and others and hers and an innocent unborn child smh!!

Ok this is the 3rd time I bought bad meat from U guys. 1st. Bad bacon. Then 2nd bad pepper steak. I didnt shop here for a while. Now two.days ago I got sliced ham. I opened the zip lock yesterday the meat was spoiled it smelled so bad Im so done genesee store or any other of ur stores🤬.

I have been going to Camilla’s for over a year now and out of the year I have had a lot of problems. the people in there pay more attention to the conversations they are having with there co-workers, and always forget something, this is my fourth time going home and realizing something is missing and it’s a big inconvenience for me sense I’m 20 minutes away and when you go back they all have an attitude and think I’m lying. I go back because I like the food and they have nice packages but I just wish the staff would get it together and worry more about customers then talking all day .

Its a typical neighborhood market. They sale a small assortment of groceries and produce. Prices on the meats seems low, but to me the amount you get in their meat packages isnt a lot. Maybe I am bias because I get all my beef from the slaughter house. Anyone who knows about slaughter houses, the prices can not be beat. I wouldnt suggest doing all your grocery shopping here, well unless you dont have transportation then I can see this being your one stop place. For me, the occasional visit is due to the smoked beef sausage I have a craving for.

Expired meats in case. When told on the day they left it out to sell..i went back 3 days later and same expired meat still for sale. Customer service sucks. Not worth the aggravation.

The staff are not even remotely customer friendly people.It was such a bad experience with the people giving you the meat,i dont want to go back.Most places greet customers.they didnt and not even a hint of a smile.After I payed my daughter was about to grab the bags,one worker said no ill help youi said finally someone that is courteous..Wrong he attempted to get my daughters phone number..Horrible experience

I love this meat market its always clean and they have the cheapest meats and best meat packs in the city. Everyone that works there is friendly and knows there products.

This use to be my favorite meat market to shop and I thought after they came out with their app for you to preorder your meat package, itll be cool to go there, pick up your package, and be in and out. That was not the case, it was cool not to wait in line, but they always forgot to put something. Every time it seemed like, so I would have to go back to the store and they would have to check the camera to see if I was lying. The staff would have an attitude like it was my fault. This happened at least 3 times with me. I wont be returning due to this inconvenience. On a good note they do have good meat packages for good prices, just some of the staff stucks!

Would be 5 stars but they need to do less talking and more waiting on customers also only 1 cashier was working. Other than that I love the place!

I always shopped at Camellias from now on I will just go to the Broadway market location. The first time I went to the location on Genesee I pre ordered they messed my order up so I HAD to catch a cab back I called made them aware my time was a big joke to them they were conversing chit chatting very unprofessional meanwhile my cab meter was just going up while I waited for the to finish their conversation. Recently I went the guy Larry forgot to put two items I ordered with my purchased because he was joking and fooling around with other employees I had to repeat a few thing s a few times because he didnt hear me because whatever they were talking about was more important. Then the cashier who looked like she just rolled out of bed, double charged me for some chicken breast. I will be going back for a refund but will not return to this location and would not recommend any of my friends or family to go to this location. Very UNPROFESSIONAL then I had to pay to go back to get the items that their employees didnt put in my order because they were joking around and thought their conversation was more important. The manager told me over the phone the same day which was August 7,2018 around 5 p.m he told me he would reweigh and give at lower price if I came in the same day or the nexfor the items they forgot to put in! So I pay to go get my refund because the cashier double charged me and items he left out! The manager looked me in the face and called me a liar saying he never said that over the phone! Im like so how am I going to be compensated for having to spend my time and money to get what I originally came for in the first place?? He basically said sucks to be you! I rate this 5 stars for the simple reason of watching other drivers trying to back in to this hell hole of a dock set up. Hahahahahahahaha telephone poles have been knocked over, tires blown out and tow trucks called because these steering wheel holders cant back up. Hahahahah or they miss the turn and get stuck under a 11 8 bridge thats well marked. When a new driver comes in. Its a regular circus :-)
