So I decided to go to the store based on the huge selection and very reasonable prices I saw on their website. HUGE mistake!! Store and website are two totally different worlds. Horrible selection of steel toe shoes in the store. The cheapest pair was $145. I prefer to try my shoes on before I buy them, Which is why I go into the store. I thought being willing to spend $100 on steel toe shoes was perfectly reasonable. Not in this store it aint! Be lucky if you can get a pair of shoelaces for that. Should have just gone to Walmart like I usually do.

I visit this store couple of time and most of the business hour they are close, late open, unpredicted notice in door . If you are trying to buy some safety shoes look for some trusted business which are more committed to their hourly business and customer.if you business not for customer close it so people won’t waste their time.

Store contacted me after I posted the issue I below. They went out of their way to correct it!! They not only delivered my purchase to me at my place of employment, they added an item to my order for free. Thank you Saf-Gard. I dont know of any other retailer that would do what you did.Original post-Saturday September 28, 2019 @ 9:45 a.m. store is supposed to open at 9:00a.m. but its closed. So far two customers have come & gone, I will be the third. NOT GOOD SERVICE!! Not even a sign on the door, or an updated recording on the answering system. Apparently customer service is not of important to them. Red Wing Shoes on Transit Rd. will do just as good! Even the 1-866 number doesnt answer. Amazing.

So the sales person who was the only person working had an attitude upon me entering the store. I dont believe it was with me but it seems he took it out on me especially when I told him the company I work for which happens to be NYSDOT. He stated that they dont know what there doing and dont tell us all of the information that we need. I explained that I was new and only giving the info that they gave me. Long story short, it got a bit better towards the end but I probably wont shop there again!

The Wolverines I bought here for work were absorbing water and leaking within 3 weeks, same as the 80 dollar herman survivors from Walmart. I have a 6 month warranty, but just to avoid the bad attitude of the whiney staff, I just wont be coming back. Going online for my next work boot purchase.

Every time I come here there is no one working and the shop is closed. The hours on the door say they should be operational but the past 3 times I have been there right in the middle of the day no one is there. Oh well, guess Ill go out to Red Wing.

Dont bother calling, you will get someone in North Carolina, who is no help at all. Its a 100 mile round trip to drive here, i would like to make sure they have what i want in stock before i make a wasted trip.

Went to get a pair of work boots and got nothing but attitude from the sales rep! He had an issue with water in his back room and took it out on me! Will never go back there again! The service SUCKED!!!
