This place is the best cafe in Buena Park to study at. Their drinks are good and they have plenty of seating inside/out with a lot of plugs. They also sell bakery items and cute merchandise. I like how they care about their aesthetics. Just look at this cup… A+ to the graphic designer I mean wow.

I bought a cookie and two drinks in this cafe today. taste good, but there are some strange kitchen towrls inside the cookie. I spit them out. not a good experience.

There always seems to be a crowd at this place and I can now see why! Upon opening the door, youre met with the wonderful smell of coffee, and bread. Two of the best things in this plane of existence! They have a single table with pastry items and their selection rotates daily. Everything is individually wrapped and sorted by savory or sweet.Prices are a touch higher than 85° which is the closest analog that i can think of, but for the size and weight of the pastries you receive, its justifiable.

I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops. All the way from San Diego to Minnesota to Montreal. I’ve tried a lot of espresso based drinks with and without syrup/flavouring. And in the top three of any coffee drink I’ve had is the banana kick at Smoking Tiger. If you’ve ever considered trying it, get it. And then get it again with a bit of added chocolate. Bomb.

A very cool place to hang out at; with decent indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Its very popular with college students. I am having Blueberry Matcha Tea and its quite tasty. They have many other coffee and tea flavor drinks. Plus, they have plenty of baked goods that go perfectly with your drink.Just tried Strawberry Matcha Tea. Its pretty tasty too. Oh, try Tonic & Espresso. Its an acquired taste, but its unique.As of January 1st 2021, they added an outdoor section. Its pretty inviting.

This was my first time here but wow I will definitely come back and enjoy a drink and pastries while reading a book/journaling in the Stone Garden. I came around 8:15am and it was so relaxing and I had it all to myself.Green tea Madeleine was . I ordered a blueberry scone and vanilla latte for my sister so I didnt get to try but FOR SURE coming back for more.On the Covid front: Hand sanitizers were at the front counter and the cashier wiped the tablet for payment immediately after I paid. Doors are open to let fresh air in. Outdoor patio seating set up in the front (near parking lot) and Stone Garden and I believe some small chairs and tables on the side (accessible in parking lot) as well.Kudos Smoking Tiger on making it safe for customers!

I got the tonic and espresso drink and that was an experience. The garlic cream cheese bread was good too, I didnt expect it to be sweet, but it was a pleasant, subtle surprise.

Probably one of my favorite coffee drinks is at Smoking Tiger. its called the Banana Kick and its absolutely amazing.The place is pretty big and there is a lot of space for just people to lounge and chill while enjoying their coffee. Also a good local place to study and get your work done if you live nearby.I just wish the big tables had some outlet or extension cords for people to charge their computers and tablets.Service is amazing... Andy and Jurie are both super patient and kind to their customers.

I really appreciated how accomodating the service was here. This place is also very clean. This tea that I bought has had to be one of the best that Ive ever had. It was my first time here in this visit, and I really think I may visit again. Thank you guys for the great service!Best wishes!

Great service

This has been my go to cafe since COVID started. I think I go here at least 3x a week 😅I love their drinks - my favorites are the iced americano, Tiger latte, and Smoking Spaniard. Their mocktails are also very refreshing and tasty! On top of their drinks they make delicious pastries (blueberry scones are freaking good and those lemon madeleines are my vice) on the daily. Everyone’s very nice and friendly. The outdoor seating areas are so cute and convenient and their aesthetics as A1 👌. I always recommend this place to my friends!

10/10 would recommend this cafe to ANYONE. We visited while traveling from Oregon and wish we could come here everyday. The ham and cheese mini loaf was amazing as well as our drinks, the banana kick and the tiger latte. They homemake all syrups and have milk alternatives. The prices are fair and the quality is amazing. The barista was also extremely nice, personable and helpful. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area again.

The Banana Kick was amazing!! 100% recommend. It has a cozy environment with great music. Large space for large study groups.

My sister and I go here almost everyday. Regular drinks we get are Americano, Banana Kick, Smokin Spaniard, Tiger Latte, and YSL. And the oat milk they use is really good, so its easy to make any drink vegan. My sister also really likes their lemon madeleines. They also have several outside seating areas and one of them is pretty darn cool because its somewhat hidden. Taste is 10/10; Service is 10/10; Aesthetic is 10/10

Good drinks and nice ambiance.

Cozy seating area and an assortment of korean-styled pastries you cant find anywhere else in oc. I especially love their scones and mini pound cakes. Their breads arent overly sweet and you can taste the great quality of the ingredients they use. They also have the best selection of teas and detailed descriptions, something that is also unique to smoking tiger.

The garlic bread was so good..coffee is very bold and tasty.

Absolute stellar collection of original pastries, hot drinks, and mixed teas. Will be coming again and again.

This place has such a nice atmosphere and if it wasnt for COVID Id definitely be studying here. Theres so many pastries/drink to try but my go-to is their blueberry matcha latte and a hojicha cookie to go with it. Ive also tried their hojicha madeleine and matcha scone which were both good. The staff is also friendly and Ive never had a bad experience here.Been coming to this place amidst COVID and this is the only cafe that I feel comfortable sitting in their outdoor area. They ask you if youll be staying after they take your order and check your temperature. There are some seats inside and ample seating outside (also a garden!) For those who are afraid of spiders, be weary that there are spiders in the garden and they are not afraid! Ive seen them attach a web from the tree we were sitting under onto the person sitting across from me.

Want some great coffee? Go here! Their coffee is awesome; probably better just about any place in the area. Their baked goods are darn good, also. Theres no place to sit some times - gets too crowded at times. I get it to go when that happens.

Some of the best pastries Ive had. Made in house right here in Buena Park. The coffee is nothing extraordinary but this place can carry itself on the baked goods alone. While I was there, late weekday morning, I was the only male customer out of about a dozen. Nice place to meet people.

The customer service was professional! The house coffee was good. Plenty of seating. Comfortable. Music was to loud. I like the layout. Good choice for bread I didnt try any of them though. I might go back.

Ah - they reopened this building with another wonderful cafe. Super glad to see someone else use this space as its large, comfy and modern.Smoking Tiger Coffee & Bread is both a bakery and a beautiful coffee shop. Loved the different options they had which were plentiful. I went with the jin sung cold brew (they had a few different items) which was chocolate-y and smooth. Absolutely loved it and the whiskey cup it came in with the large ice cube. Fantastic stuff.Working-wise, I did work here with my laptop on the sofa with a solid WiFi. Didnt see any outlets personally but assuming there are a few (it again is a huge place). Service is kind and quick. They actually come around and clean and make sure youre doing well.Parking is a little tight so be aware that you may have to park elsewhere.

There are seatings outside. These days, thats enough, isnt it?

Hip coffee shop with pastries and matcha as well. Lots of tables and outlets for studying as well as couches for hanging out. It can get quite busy though.

Pricey but everything is well new from coffee to pastries. Music is pretty loud and its usually pretty full

Paddy is available in the outdoor parking lot and in the hidden space inside the building.The drinks and scones are delicious.I ordered Americano and strawberry latteStrawberry latte is better with puree.The coffee taste is also okay. I recommend it.Patio available.Nice place!
